Great shop! These guys are awesome and do great work. Mike Myers has been doing my tattoos for years and every time out does the last one. This time was a Denver bronco’s tattoo, highly recommend going here.

Had my first tattoo with Nacho, and the experience was great! The shop is well-lit and clean. All the fellow tattoo artists were friendly and the vibes here indicate a family atmosphere-towards me and amongst the artists. Nacho greeted me with a hug, which was kind and comforting. His wife, Damaris, set up my appointment and was also very considerate in answering my questions and reassuring me. Nacho sang during my tattoo, which helped distract me and it felt like being serenaded! He made my vision come to life, and I can’t wait to see how it heals. This was a great choice for my first tattoo. I’m grateful for this team! Definitely recommend.

I will never go anywhere else! Mike Meyers is an incredible artist and an amazing person. His color work is stellar; the best I’ve ever seen. He’s been tattooing me and my family for 10 years now. Nacho finished the lower area of my arm earlier this year and it was beautifully done! The way he was able to take what was already there and add to it cohesively was amazing! Everyone at the shop was extremely friendly and made the full experience painless. 10/10 would always recommend and will be back soon!

Had a fantastic experience getting my first tattoo at Denver Classic with Nacho! I was fairly nervous going into it but he was incredibly kind, patient with my questions and supportive of my opinions. Not to mention he seems like a great guy at heart as well. I LOVE THIS SHOP! Ive gotten tattooed by Nacho twice, can I say I love how cautious he is about his clients. He made sure to check in with me every often, to make the process is smooth and easy for me. Which can I say It was, the music was also very on theme great choices. The process and experience wasnt only great with nacho but with Damari she was also very helpful, quick and effortless to give feedback on ideas and communicate with the process up until the day of the appointment! May I add that I met the co-owner of the shop Ralph hes was a great sport, very helpful on after care giving recommendations, but I also really loved his Chicano styled pieces! I hope to visit again to get a piece from Ralph himself, all in all I definitely recommend this shop as Nacho and Ralph himself although all the other artist have amazing work as well very unique, this shop ranges from all styles. You guys should go vist the shop and decorate your temple

I got a fine line tattoo from Nacho several years ago and was very pleased. (The tattoo still looks brand new). When my son turned 18 and wanted his first tattoo I knew Nacho was the person to take him to. He is so talented in all styles of tattoos. He is so incredibly kind and just exudes good energy. Nacho was very open to his ideas and collaborating to make it the best tattoo and did some amazing freehand work to make it really unique. My son got his perfect first tattoo, and an even better experience. Nacho checked in regularly to make sure he was doing okay, explained things to him, lightened the mood with humor, etc. He was almost more excited than my son to be doing his first tat. He is such a genuinely good person, we’ll always go back to him.

After my mom passed away, I knew I wanted to have something simple but significant to remember her by and I couldnt be more thankful to Nacho for giving me this permanent reminder of her love. He was respectful, compassionate & professional..his love of tattooing really shines through his work (even the simple stuff). I couldnt recommend a better shop than denver classic!

Nacho did a tat on me and my hubby along with a fine line tattoo on me and I cannot recommend him enough! It’s been a few weeks and the tats are fully healed yet still look very fresh. The Environment is so relaxing and clean. If you’re looking to get your first or any tattoo done anywhere, this is definitely the place to go.

I followed Hunter to Denver classic. First met him when he did a tattoo for my husband and I at a different shop that I did not like. I needed a touch up and Hunter was super willing to make that happen. Not only did he fix it but he also did a tattoo for me, my husband and a friend. We all love our pieces and can’t wait to use him again!

Great tattoo and experience! My best friend and I wanted somewhat matching tattoos from Nacho. He created an awesome geometric fine line mountainscape for us on a weeks notice based on a picture I took. I wanted color in mine so while at the shop another artist, Meyers, mocked up some beautiful watercolor for my design and we went for it. Good vibes and a new, clean shop.

This is my second time getting a tattoo with Nacho! I’ve done fine line both times and both tattoos have turned out so beautifully and have lasted so well. He is very talented and professional and I highly recommend him for any tattoo!

Nacho was my artist, did an incredible job for my first tattoo. Incredibly understanding when i wanted to make slight adjustments to the first mock up, gave me great advice after to take care of it, all lines are incredibly clear and wont fade even the thinnest ones. Full heartedly recommend anyone in the shop but most of all Nacho will get everyone right. Price was definitely fair as well

Got a tattoo by Nacho back in January, couldn’t have asked for a better finished product! Got a super sick 3/4 sleeve done all fine line style, I think we were both beyond stoked on how it turned out! He also crushed the whole thing out in about 5 hours start to finish, definitely gonna have him add more to the sleeve in the future, can’t recommend enough!!

There’s something about finding a tattoo artist who’s chill, friendly and extremely talented and being able to confidently recommend them to friends that’s just top tier. My husband and I love Nacho! Bonus points for being a Latino owned business. Love to see our people on top!

Went in this past weekend to get a tattoo from Nacho. He was incredibly friendly and did a stunning job on a fine line tattoo. He was super professional and did quick and fantastic work. Ill definitely be going back for another tattoo from him!

My experience was amazing! I came in with my two sibling for walk ins and there were able to squeeze us all in. We were tattooed by Mike and he did an amazing job, very light handed and quick!! Our tattoos turned out amazing, would definitely recommend!!

I would hands down recommend this shop to anybody! Michael took my inspiration photos and brought them to life and made excellent recommendations based on his years of experience. The studio was clean and there was ample parking in the back too which is always a plus for downtown. I’ll definitely be back!

Nacho was a great artist who worked up a great design on the spot. His linework was excellent and his shading was lovely! He was also a delight to be around and was funny and professional.

Mike did a fantastic job on me and my siblings tattoos, it came out exactly how we wanted! We all got fine line koi fish in slightly different designs and all came out clean and beautiful. Definitely would be coming back for another when I get the chance!

Cool little shop! Ive been tatted by the artist Justice and the apprentice Cat there and Im happy with all my tats. (Two shin tats and humming bird done by Justice, wall-e boot done by Cat) Its been a good tattoo experience every time I went. Ive also seen Slim and Nachos work on other people and theyre both really talented too! Id definitely come back again

I would highly recommend Michael Myers at Denver Classic Tattoo! I got the piece on my forearm completed by him a couple of years ago, and I receive complements on the line work and placement of it by people all over the world on my travels. Recently, I had two sessions with him to begin my sleeve, and I am extremely happy with the outcome so far! I really appreciate the fact that I can present an idea to him, and he’s able to bring it together so eloquently while giving me feedback based on his 20+ years of experience. Michael does a phenomenal job of knowing where to stop each session on a sleeve so that the piece is appealing to the eye until you can get in for the next session. Coming from out of state, I find it commendable that he is willing and able to tattoo you for 9-14 hours in order to achieve the vision that you came to him with. When he goes over what is considered a full day of tattooing (8 hours), he is upfront with you about the change in price before just continuing on so there are no surprises at the end. I previously had a pretty messy tattoo That needed to be either modified /blacked out / or removed completely. I went to Lauren to fix up my tattoo. She did not only a wonderful job Fixing it, but she also was super professional, very clean and organized and fast, which is nice when you’re getting the inside of your wrist tattooed!!

Nacho did a tattoo for me back in May and when I say it is by far one of my favorite tattoos on my body. We instantly clicked and were able to collaborate on a tattoo that is better than I could have ever dreamed of. I cannot wait to go back and get my full sleeve done by home this upcoming year!

Came in for a flash event and all the artists were super nice! I got a cute little lava lamp and a voucher to come back for a larger piece. I’m excited to check out the artists more and book again.

Nacho (@nachowitcheese) did my entire arm sleeve and I was so impressed by his artistic vision. I trusted him while heartedly to bring me some unique pieces and tattoo with nothing but love. His energy and soul is so good and it shows in his work. Anytime I’m back in Denver, I will be stopping by Dark Matter to get some little inkies!

First, I want to say that Nacho is a very talented tattoo artist. His work is beautiful. He is a very kind person and great to talk with. The only reason I am giving a 4 start review is because the wrong size was placed. There was 2 sizes that we discussed and we decided to go with the smaller size as my tattoo is on the smallest part of my body. Tattoo was completed on 2 other of my family members as well. I do understand it is also my responsibility to make sure the correct size is placed but I trusted that the smallest size was placed. On my way home I really started to feel like it was much larger than discussed. When I compared my tattoo to my family member it was evident that mine indeed is much larger. When I messaged him, I never heard back. Obviously there is nothing that can be done but I am very disappointed because this is in a very visable area and we trust our tattoo artist to double, triple check everything. Just frustrated.

A very clean and welcoming shop! All the artists are polite and willing to help out with any questions you may have! 10/10 would recommend for your next tattoo!

If you want a fine line tattoo go here! He has a light hand and make you feel super comfortable. I have a few fine line tattoos all from different artists of the same the price point and this one is by far the best, not to mention I haven’t had any bleeding or fading in over a year. Highly recommend!

Yesterday my BFF and I went to Dark Matter to see Erik Free for a few tattoos. These were our 8,9,10 tats and we both agreed that Erik is our new favorite artist in Denver. He was super helpful on the front end, uses amazing technology to follow the EXACT designs we had in mind, declined to do some work he didnt feel most qualified to do. Erik is personable, fun, efficient and does FABULOUS work. We are so happy with our newest tats and Erik that we are going to find new designs so we can go see him again, soon! 100% recommendation for our new favorite tattoo artist.

As a woman who has never smoked, doesn’t drink, has never had pierced ears, and was a blank canvas we expected a giggle and to politely decline.So we had to do this right: The right atmosphere, the right time, the right art, the right artist. This piece honors our mother, her mother, and both her grandmothers. The standard is exceedingly high.Nacho was amazing to work with from start to finish. He made my mother at ease, discussed all her desires and delivered a result that we are all ecstatic about. He provided our family a once in a lifetime experience and added more joy and love to our celebration than we could have had without him. Nacho finished out a quarter sleeve on my arm and it was the BEST tattoo experience Ive ever had. He totally nailed the design and look I was going for and worked with me to tweak it slightly to fill some random gaps I had in between other tattoos. Hes such a talented artist and you can just feel the passion he has for his work and the craft. Hes also super down to earth, fun to talk to and never makes you feel intimidated. Not only did I leave loving my new tattoo, it was overall such a positive experience that Ill never go anywhere else.

Just finished up my sleeve with Matt (illustrativeclassic) and I couldn’t be happier! Matt listened to what I wanted and then put his own spin on it which is exactly what I wanted. His color work and attention to detail is top notch especially if you are looking for anime or video game work. The shop is easy to find, clean, and personal. The staff is amazing, I felt very welcome there as every artist introduced themselves and chatted with me even though I wasn’t their client. I highly recommend this shop if you are looking for a fun but professional tattoo experience.
