Brandi did amazing on my get what you get tattoo! Such a fun shop! Everyone is super nice! Mary did an awesome snail on my friend and it’s so vibrant and pretty! I definitely recommend them, they definitely make you feel welcomed! I’ve been to so many shops that have the worst attitudes, they act like i’m a burden and that i shouldn’t be there. This place was the opposite of that 1000000% If you haven’t been there, i’d highly suggest going! it was definitely worth the 5 hour drive!

Love this shop. Great location, cool space (with the new upstairs area open now too), and fun group of artists. Have 15+ pieces from Andrew and highly recommend the handsome lad.

Casey and Mary were amazing! We came in for walk in get what you get tattoos. The experience was a 100/10. We both left with awesome pieces. Clean shop. Walls covered in beautiful flash. Very welcoming! Would 100% return.

I have been getting tattooed by James Maxwell for over 8 years now and have over 15 tattoos done by him. Every interaction that i have had with James has been top notch. He is very professional, knowledgeable and in my opinion, one of the best tattooers out there. Driving an hour to get tattooed by him at Electric Park is completely worth it. Its a great shop right next to Eastern Market. I can enthusiastically recommend James 5/5 stars. Go see him, you wont regret it!

Came in with my girlfriend for a couple Get what you get tattoos and Casey and Mary absolutely killed it! Super friendly, clean and awesome artists!

I started going to Electric Park Tattoo in 2021 and I’m so glad I found this shop. I get my tattoos done by Joe and he is awesome, I almost have a full sleeve of his work now. I would trust anyone in this shop to tattoo me. Everyone is kind, funny, skilled, and welcoming. The shop is also very clean and overall has a great atmosphere. My experience with Andrew:- Communication: is responsive and shares all the important details along the way.-Punctual: I had clear expectations that it would be months to get in with him.-Exceptional artwork.-Kind and respectful: never has pressured me.-Bonus: Electric Park doesnt have that macho angry tattooist vibe from what Ive experienced so far.I would recommend this business based on my experiences with Andrew.

It’s been years since I’ve gotten a tattoo, so I made a last minute walk-in decision to get some work done that I’d been putting off. Electric Park took me in no problem and exceeded my expectations! This artist named Izzy was a guest artist there for the week, she did an absolutely amazing job! Wish she was around permanently so I could come back and get some more tattoos done with her!

Started coming to Joe for tattoos about a year ago and the experience has been 10/10. His work is amazing and he is such a great guy. The shop is super clean and everyone is super professional. This is the only place I go to for tattoos now and will always recommend them over anywhere else

I have two pieces done by Kyle Hath. Hes an amazing artist, dedicates time to make sure youre getting what you want. And the dude genuinely loves what he does. I recommend him to anyone looking for Am Trad, and will be going to him for all future Am Trad tats.The location itself is a nice hole-in-the-wall shop. Sort of away from the hustle and bustle of Eastern Market. Super clean, super homey. Great new business started by Joe Destefano, another great tattooer.

I’ve been coming here for years! Staff is friendly and will answer any questions. The shop is always VERY clean and follows all state guidelines! Definitely recommend! James Maxwell has been my artist and I have had nothing but Amazing experiences!

I just got my first tattoo at Electric Park Tattoo and had a fantastic experience. Josh and Joe were extremely helpful with the design consultation and made all of us feel comfortable and relaxed. The tattoos all turned out amazing; we all couldnt be happier. The space itself was also very cool, clean and inviting. Absolutely would recommend.

My wife and I called on a whim while passing through town and Joe got us both in. Shop was super clean and within 30 minutes he had both of our stencils ready to go. Great touch and minimal discomfort. Overall, an outstanding experience, and would 100% go back if we come through town again!

Me and my best friend were in town for the Ariana Grande concert, and wanted to get a tattoo for the memories, and they take walk-ins which is amazing. I didn’t wait for more than 10-15 minutes. Joe did our tattoos and he was super nice, VERY quick, and the shop was very clean, and inviting. :) 10/10 would recommend. I WOULD travel the 8 hours back to get more work done by him. The whole team/family at EPT treats all their patrons with respect and clarity. Each tattooer I’ve come in contact with has been kind, and had the best interest in everyone getting the best possible version of what they are looking for.They all have penned a unique style, and give you a multitude of different options between them.Highly recommend visiting, and scheduling to get a piece from any of the artists. Definitely the worlds finest place to get tattooed between two dumpsters.

Josh Barg did my tattoo and the experience was great from start to finish. Very prompt in replying to questions while we were getting everything scheduled, and the tattoo turned out perfect. Can’t recommend them enough.

I called at 11:01 am as the business states it opens at 11:00 am. I spoke with someone over the phone named Mary. She aske to send a pic of my tattoo as I only wanted a rise I already have colored in and outlined. She texted back and was very dismissive saying we dont have anybody that has time to do that today. Thanks for reaching out. Which was a bit off-putting to me as there is a sign on the door saying they take walk ins. So if I am basically the first call they have gotten for the day and they take walk ins how would every single already be booked up. How are they taking walk ins then. Mary did not even attempt to schedule me for another day. When I asked to speak to a manager she said none was available. I would assume the business owners are in business to attract business. When I called her back Mary was dismissive and laughed at my concerns. I did not receive good customer service. I am very disappointed

Couldn’t recommend Electric Park Tattoo enough! I’m visiting a friend who lives in Detroit and we wanted to get tattoos this weekend. On a whim, the guys took us in an hour before they closed and did amazing work for me and my two friends. We’re obsessed with our tattoos! The guys were really informative, funny and all around really accommodating.

Great place to get a tattoo! Clean and following covoid protocol, artists are experienced and quick! Ive been seeing James for years and hes always able to turn my ideas into long lasting art.

What a lovely group of talented guys! Hung out while my husband was getting something larger done and decided to get something small. I’m not always the best at this, so it was no surprise that I fainted during a very quick session. EVERYONE in the shop rushed to help, and let me laugh it off. Still finished and I really appreciated how respectful everyone was. Thanks again for being very cool and professional!

RJ is the man. Has flawlessly designed my two half-sleeves and is in my opinion one of the best artists in Michigan; especially with big designs and color.
