R&R tattoo and piercing studio

I recently got my bully button pierced here and I absolutely love it! My piercer Selena was very sweet and walked me through the whole thing, she made sure I loved the placement before moving on to the actual piercing. Even though I had it pierced before she made sure I knew exactly how to take care of it and made me feel very comfortable and calm during the piercing. It’s been 2 weeks and it’s healing really nice thanks to her instructions.🙏I know everybody is different but my piercing had no bleeding and very minimal swelling due to how careful yet quick she was. I 100% recommend coming here for any piercings it was so fast and the prices are very affordable and you still leave with a piercing you’ll love! The first picture is right after and the second one is after two weeks!

Today was my first visit, and had the greatest experience of getting my piercing! When you walk in, everyone is very welcoming and eager to see what you would like to get done. I did not schedule an appointment, but as a walk-in, they worked with me right away to see what I wanted (also make sure to bring an ID). I had got a rook piercing on my right ear and had Valex as my piercer. Now let me tell you, she was the best piercer I have ever had! She thoroughly walks you through the piercing process and is very comforting the whole time, which eases the nerves you may be feeling. After getting the piercing, she’ll let you know what to avoid and the aftercare process. Overall, I was thoroughly pleased with R&R and highly recommend to give this place a try ! :)

I walked in on a whim and Wish happened to be in. She was tattooing another client but took my number down and told me she would text me in about an hour. She let me know when she was setting up for me and was ready to go when I arrived. She was very patient with me since my tattoo was on my wrist and a super sensitive spot. She made sure the placement was good and that I wasn’t in too much pain throughout the process. She was very kind and relaxing. Definitely will be back to get another tattoo from her and definitely recommend her and the shop!

This place is great. I have came in a handful of times to get work done and I will continue to come in. The staff and wonderful and professional. It’s been amazing to see this shop grow and expand with their staff and space over the past 4 years. The renovation that are happening in the shop are just elevating the tattoo experience. The attention to detail from the prep to during the tattoo to finish is impeccable. They care about how they do things and make sure they are doing things with their clients best interest in mind. I will always return to the shop and continue to recommend them.

It is very clean and organized. I cannot wait for the renovations to be finished to see the whole area being used and in action. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. They complimented my previous tattoos and were excited to hear that I have also had piercings done at various tattoos expos. They really do appreciate the small things as well as their business.

The staff was absolutely amazing, friendly, and professional! They went out of their way to make feel comfortable and ensure I was taken care of even with their shop being renovated. Jinx explained her every move prior to execution as she changed out my jewelry with flawless execution and a steady hand. I will definitely be returning for future work!

Got a double helix and lobes pierced here the other day. It was a great experience! The piercer was incredibly kind and sweet and talked us through the entire process. It was incredibly clean and sanitary throughout. They also provided with us useful advice for aftercare and the healing process. Would definitely recommend!

The staff here is very welcoming. Wish did an amazing job with my new tattoo! She did 5 of my other tattoo pieces as well. She never disappoints and I trust her artistry. I enjoyed the environment and will definitely come back again to get another tattoo!

I got a little tattoo on my arm for the first time at the shop by Sonny and it was a great experience, I was a bit nervous but it hurt way less than I thought it would, its my new favorite tattoo, so I definitely recommend him. It had beautiful decor, loved the music, overall very friendly vibe and nice experience !

This is the 3rd tattoo of mine that Wish (@bluegreen9474) has done and as usual, I am so impressed by her talent and professionalism! She covered an older tattoo that I had and it came out beautifully. She was very flexible with the appointment time to accommodate my schedule. We always have great conversation so time went by quickly and she made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. The studio is very clean and spacious and the other artists were very friendly. I will definitely be coming back for my future tattoos!

This was my first time here and my first tattoo. Thanks to my artist El_doof for his work and the time he spend taking care of tattooing my leg. I was expecting to be a painful process, but to my surprise it was not. The ambient is great and the staff is very friendly. I had a great experience. I got my double ear piercing today and it was an amazing experience! All the artist were helpful especially Jinx, the nice lady who did my piercings. She helped ease my nerves and made it such a comfortable environment.

Unsanitary. Came in for a tattoo and the shop crammed the work station behind the front counter because there was some sort of work being done in the main building where the regular work stations are. It was an unsanitary work station. There was a giant metal trash can next to the workstation with the top wide open, and the artist had a coffee cup he was actively drinking from placed on the work station that was supposed to be used for tattooing. There were stacks of documents and papers crammed next to the makeshift station, which looked dusty and flat out dirty. The whole setup looked super unsanitary. I walked out. Come on guys, you should know better than that. Infection is a huge concern with getting tattoos. Hopefully this isnt a common thing as the other reviews appear mostly positive. That setup was gross.

My experience getting my ears at R&R tattoo and Piercing was awesome! The staff was friendly and professional and the environment was clean and welcoming. I got my 3rd set of lobe piercings done by Valex and the process was quick and virtually painless. She was very patient and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole session. Im thrilled with the results, and my piercings are healing nicely. I would highly recommend Valex and R&R tattoo/Piercings to anyone looking for a positive piercing experience.

I went a couple of days ago to get my nose pierced with friends, they were SUPER friendly and welcoming! I got pierced with Selena she was amazing and taught me how to take care of my piercing. I’ll definitely be back soon! 🤩

I went in to have my first piercing since getting out of Army, Jinxx was the one that did it for me she was very nice and walked me through it because I was nervous. I got my lip pierced by Valex. I was a little anxious at first but she made me feel comfortable and was very professional the whole time. She walked me through the process which really helped. Overall 10/10 would go again and would recommend her to anyone looking to get a piercing.

My daughter just got a nose piercing with Jinx, and she was very professional and sweet. She allowed us to go into the room with her and we were allowed to record the process. By far my favorite tattoo artist is Wish!! Her technique is so unique. I’ve gotten 3 tattoos from her and currently working on the 4th one. I feel very safe and comfortable when I’m with her! I was very nervous getting a piercing after many years but Valex made the experience a great one and calmed me down. My helix piercing is healing nicely and Im looking forward to getting my tragus next!

Very comfortable environment, I got nipple piercings and for someone who only has a belly piercing I would say the first nip was a 3/10 pain but the second one was more painful. The stylist who did it was Selena, she was so nice and made it quick and easy.

Had a wonderful experience here! My friend and I came to get some piercings as a last minute decision. We came to R&R Tattoo and Piercing Studio as walk-ins and had a blast. We both got pierced by Selena (@wu_tattz). She walked us through the whole process, letting us know what to do and how to do it. She heard us on our concerns and gave us the perfect solutions that fit us both.For me, I got my second lobe piercings on my ears. When she did it, I had no pain or discomfort at all. Typing this the day after, I still notice no pain, no discomfort, and barely even any swelling occurred. She is delicate yet precise with her hands. If I ever get another piercing or tattoos, I’m definitely going to talk to her again, especially after seeing her tattoo wall that fits my vibes. Thanks Selena! Great environment, I felt completely safe and comfortable with Jinxx doing my nipple piercing. She was great with giving me instructions while she was doing the whole procedure, with that being said I didn’t feel any pain 🤩 the results were even better than what I expected. will definitely come back to this place and specially with such convenient prices.

Wish does an amazing job! I have 4 tattoos done by her and counting. I have a neck, face, and two arm tattoos done by her so far. Wish is an incredible artist, and extremely nice. On the most recent visit, I unfortunately lost my dog the same day. Causing me to have to move my appointment time. Wish accommodated graciously. It ended up being a therapy session to which I was so thankful I had her as my artist. She made me feel comfortable and also last minute request to have a picture of my dog tattooed she didn’t hesitate. She nailed the image to perfection and made a very hard day so much better. I can’t say enough good things about her professionalism, her amazing energy, and incredible work. Her pricing is extremely fair as well. I have other tattoos by other artist but nothing compares to her work, or the experience she provides. I travel 3 hrs just to see her because she is so worth it. I highly highly recommend Wish. I promise you will never be disappointed.

Horrible service. Walked in to get a piercing. I understand I was a walk in and there is going to be wait. Person behind the register stated it’s going to be an hour wait. Totally understandable. He took my number and said he would call when it’s our turn. I left and returned in an hour. At that time it was another 30 min wait. Ok. I sat there for another hour. Mind you no one has reached out via phone or in person stating that it’s going to be a little longer than expected. That is to much to ask for. A little curtesy goes a long way. I sat there and watched other customers walk in after us and get serviced. I guess this establishment is a who you know type of place. I’m upset that I couldn’t get the curtesy or respect of a simple update. I was a returning customer. I guess that will no longer be the case.

I got my piercing done here a few months ago and the piercer Serena obviously didn’t line it up with the markings and it’s very crooked.

Great atmosphere and my artist was very attentive. Made sure I liked the placement and made excellent conversation. Jinxx made my first tattoo experience wonderful, I highly recommend and will book my next one ASAP

Got pierced by selena! me and my boyfriend got matching vertical labrets, i got my bridge pierced and then my bf also got his higher nostrils done. selena made sure everything was symmetrical and all the workers we encountered were super sweet and social, it’s apparent that everyone who works there loves what they do! i get piercings to feel a bit more confident in my looks and let me say, i cannot stop looking at my face in absolute awe. thank you so much r&r piercing shop and thank you selena for making me feel beautiful and amazing through out the whole piercing process!

It was a bad experience for Grandaughter they messed up the piercing on her lip they didnt even use the right bar for her lip she even got a blood cloth, My Daughter had to remove It from her lip I sure wouldnt recommend this place for piercings

Mooky is 100% my go to tattoo artist. She had a lot of patience with me while she was doing my first big tattoo which was greatly appreciated. I was not expecting that area to hurt as much as it did but I stuck in there because I knew the end result would be worth it and because Mooky made it as comfortable as possible for me. Anyone that asks about tattoos I will immediately recommend Mooky!

I had went to get an Ashely piercing and not even a week later that I had the piercing it was constantly bleeding and had got a blood clots I had to take the piercing out, I had went to the shop today and got refunded my money by very rude workers there not professional what so ever the male that had tried to give me less of what I paid for, Im young but not stupid be aware out here yall🫶🏼💯

I got 6 ear piercings done in one sitting and my piercer was Jinx. And let me tell you she is one of the best piercers I have ever come across since being in the states. She was so comforting and knew her job to an absolute T. she did multiple measurements and made sure to triple check they were perfect. She gave me breathing cues and words of affirmations (i respond positively to words of affirmation.) she also had to bring in her other friend to help because of too much ****TW: Blood**** and she also was constantly making sure i was alright. i unfortunately didn’t get her name but I got jinx so that’s all that matters lol. she was also so very cute with nicknames and I just absolutely enjoyed my time there. will 1000% go there for my next piercing that I want done. i gave her a $5 tip because she did so well. should’ve tipped her more tbh lollll😭😭😭 sorry for the long review, i just really enjoyed my experience at this piercing place.

I went in to get my navel and nose pierced. I only got one done but I loved it. My piercer was Jinx. She was so patient and worked with me. For my navel, I wasn’t really sure. She told me a piercing is to be enjoyed, it’s something you should be all in for. And she was right, so I’m really glad I didn’t do it. And for my nose piercing, she had to readjust it a few times. Not because the placements looked wrong but she could tell it wasn’t for me based on my response. On the last one it just felt right even though I have no clue what right is lol. And she hyped me up that I felt even better about getting it. She just made the experience great. She walked me through the piercing reminding me to breathe even if it hurt. Highly recommend her

Its truly disappointing that I have to share my negative experience with Jinx at the Ruidoso Tattoo Convention. I had high hopes for my septum piercing, but unfortunately, did not deliver. Despite her initial confidence, the piercing was done incorrectly and placed too low. I reached out to her once for advice when I noticed it was swollen and crooked, but she was unresponsive and I had to contact the shop for her attention. Three different piercers confirmed that the piercing was botched and would not heal properly, advising me to remove it. I paid $60 and even tipped her $10, but when I asked for a refund, she only offered to redo the piercing for free. Given her previous mistake, I declined. If youre considering getting pierced by Jinx, please be cautious.

I got my lip piercing and eyebrow piercing here and I asked where I wanted my lip piercing placed and she didnt put it where I asked it to be know am stuck with I crooket lip piercing 🤦🏻‍♀️

Berto was so professional and kind! He did my nose piercing, my sisters bellybutton and changed out her septum piercing PLUS my friends first professional ear piercing.So very clean, he let us be emotional support for eachother and sanitized everything meticulously. Taking our preferences and opinions into everything making sure we were 100% happy with it.I was a bleeder and he handled it so well. Keeping me calm. Cleaned me and provided clean paper towels consistently.My friend who got her first piercing got nauseous he took his time got her a soda. He laid her down took her hand and guided her to a chair where he took care of her.20/10 I will definitely be coming back for tattoo and more piercings.
