May was an amazing piercer. She was gentle and kind and thorough. The studio was spacious and really beautiful also. I wanted a tiny gold hoop, but knew I would probably have to wait until my piercing was healed to put what I really wanted in. But this shop had what I wanted in jewelry. HUGE selection. I wouldnt go anywhere else.Thank you, team!

A little late, but I’ve visited a couple times since I got a second pair of lobe piercings and a helix piercing in January. May is amazing, making sure everything is sterile and that I’m comfortable during my visit. It was a seamless experience and I’m always grateful for May’s kindness and patience. May made sure I liked the positioning without judgment and would switch up the placement if I wasn’t sure. She also always explains the steps, what to expect, how to take care of everything. Thanks to May and the team for taking care of me, and I’m looking forward to future visits!

I came in hoping for an industrial and Libby recommended a conch piercing instead given my ear anatomy — good to know as I was at a different place that was amenable to doing one (yikes). Wait was about 10 minutes as a walk-in on a Monday afternoon, Libby was an expert and the piercing was effectively painless. I’m grateful for her rec as it’s a great position. Studio was clean/hygienic. Also the jewelry selection is beautiful, high quality, designed for daily wear. The piercing service itself was $50 + tip, pricing transparent. Will be back soon!

Cool, funky shop. May is fabulous for piercings! She is professional, knowledgeable, and has a very gentle touch. They have a beautiful variety of jewelry. They let you know pricing beforehand so there are no surprises. Highly recommend.

Very nice when I called and asked if they had nose and belly rings. even nicer in person she let me take my time deciding which nose ring looked best on me and held the ring close to my nose as I held the mirror. the shop is very beautiful and unique looking and I would love to get my next tattoo there based off my nose ring buying experience. do not hesitate to go here!! ♥️

May was such a kind, thoughtful piercer. She walked me through picking my starter jewelry, made sure I was happy with the placement of where my piercings would go, and was very cautious when piercing my ears so I was not in any pain. The whole process was almost painless, and her aura definitely helped to keep my nerves at ease and relax me. Definitely found my go-to piercer. :)

Came in for the Friday the 13th flash. 1st visit at the location and Im in love. The studio is really nice and clean. Everyone working there was nice and helpful and able to answer any questions I had. Libby did my 2 tattoos and she did a great job on the line work; Im definitely going to be booking with her in the future

Zurdo got me with that cover up. Insane work and gave me the tattoo I actually wanted all along. 10/10 will be back and highly recommend.Edit: Ive been back a few times, gotten some work done from Libby as well. Every time I stop in the experience is excellent, and the work is superb. Mad props to Libby for setting me up with a sick forearm piece!

I got my very first tattoo here and have been consistently going for the past year for tattoos. The staff is great and welcoming.Last year, I got an “under the belt” piercing by a non-resident piercer and it did not fit my anatomy at all. I faced many problems with this, so I went to another nearby piercing store when I was told I did not receive the piercing I wanted at all. If anyone is familiar, I asked for a VCH and got an improperly piercing Christina instead. Verified by one of the resident piercers there, they told me I could get a refund for the piercing, but not for the jewelry. Understandable. I asked for no refund because I was okay with the piercing, but did not know until months later that it was still improperly pierced. It was never mentioned to me during both of the times I was there, when two different staff members saw the piercing. I wish I had gone back and told them that it was improperly placed, but I did not know until now when I did my own research. At the end of the day, I know it is my responsibility to read up on which piercing I’m getting, but I’m also upset that a shop I had been going to for so long hid the truth from me, and whether they did or did not know the piercing was improperly placed, that raises questions of my own.

Came here to get a second lobe piercing on each ear. Libby was very thorough in explaining the process and answered all of my questions. I consider myself to have a high pain tolerance, so although I admit it was a little uncomfortable, the pain was temporary. I’m very happy with the result and attention. I’m to return in 4-6 weeks for a downsize of the rods and to return in 4 months for her to check to see if I can start exchanging the earring to whatever I want. I’ve gotten my previous piercings at a place that didn’t offer such a kindness, so I appreciate that she would do this. It should she cares about her client and the result. Overall, very satisfied. Would highly recommend to others.

My son and I decided to get tattoos together, he’s 19 and it would be his first and it would be my second. 7 Souls was the first place we visited and that’s where we met Pat. We started talking and next thing I know he’s helping my son design his tattoo and then helped me design mine. Right off the bat a great experience. Fast forward almost 2 months later and we made our appointments. Pat is so gifted and patient and so unbelievably talented at what he does! I actually ended up get two tattoos and have no regrets! Even Corey the manger, who I’ve had the pleasure of talking to was amazing! 7 Souls is also immaculate and has the greatest crew working there, always so polite and pleasant to be around. Thank you Pat for sharing in our mother son adventures and bringing our ideas and wants to life!! You’re amazing!!!

I originally came in here for my forward helix however because of my ear anatomy it wouldn’t work. I really appreciate May’s honesty because I just know any other piercer would’ve done it at another place. I then asked her what would look best on my ear and she gave me a couple of suggestions. So in the end I went with my conch. Let’s just say from start to finish May was soooo sweet and super helpful. The whole process was a breeze and the piercing itself did not hurt! She made me feel super comfortable. I’m obsessed with my piercing!! Definitely recommend May for all your piercing needs!!

Got my daith pierced and second lobe piercings downsized by May today. May was fantastic. The daith piercing itself barely felt like anything. When it came to putting in the jewelry, it hurt considerably and the sensation freaked me out. May was so calm and walked me through it, we took a break, she gave me sugar, put a cold compress on my head, and was able to quickly finish inserting the jewelry. May let me calm down and take as much time as I needed and didn’t pressure me or make me feel bad about almost fainting. She answered all my questions, took as much time with me as I needed, and really helped me understand the process and what was happening. I couldn’t have asked for more, and it looks great! The placement is perfect and I love it!

I recently had the pleasure of getting a piercing done by Dania, and I couldnt be happier with the experience. From the moment I walked into the studio, I felt welcomed and at ease. May is the best!!! So professional and made sure I was informed on after care for my piercing. She also took care of my daughter and corrected her piercings from previous experiences from other piercers outside of 7Souls. Would give May & Dania 10 stars not just 5, we will most definitely go back to May & Dania for further services.Dania was superb she covered a scar for my daughter and was wonderful as well. I plan on getting my tattoo in a few weeks .Both May & Dania are the best!! Would recommend them both for your tattoo & piercing requests.

I received a “fine line” tattoo that was poorly done with gaps throughout. The lines also varied dramatically in thickness and some do not even connect. I have gotten tattoos before and never have I had this experience. I was that it was because it was healing and was offered a touch up by the owner. I replied saying I was not interested in a touch up and just never got a response. Every tattoo artist I show the now HEALED tattoo has the exact same reaction as I did. I now have to spend more money to get this covered up or removed somehow. DO NOT GO HERE

May was so kind and nice! Really appreciate her support for my very first piercing. This place was clean and I could see them thoroughly pay attention to hygiene. Will visit them when I get another piercing in the future! Thank you so much!

Zurdo is the man! Love this shop. I’ve been to both the Fairlawn and Englewood locations. Both places are very clean and professional. Pricing is fair and the work is 5 stars for sure! This is the 5th tattoo I’ve gotten all done by Zurdo. He’s the best!

It was great. I had a really hard time finding the tattoo on line. They not only found it for me, but they also figured out how to do the tattoo even though I didn’t have shorts (first timer mistake)! The tattoo was excellent! Cristian was very good at doing the tiny lines.

Absolutely love this shop! I’m happy to have found a shop to go to for my piercings. May is so beyond passionate about her position and is so informative about EVERYTHING to do with piercings and what would be best for you. So far she’s done two of mine(second nostril and a flat) with more to come. Might I add, I have no complaints about the healing process because I know her technique and choice of gauge and bar was above satisfactory. I recently visited 7 Souls in Englewood and I had a fantastic experience. I lost a ball to one of my piercing and I called 30 minutes before they closed (honestly I thought they would say something like “we’re about to close…”) but the manager Corey said to come on down. All the piercers were female, which immediately made me feel extremely comfortable. Dania, Libby and May made me feel like I was amongst friends and I even decided to get new jewelry instead of just getting a replacement ball. They were all incredibly helpful in selecting the right jewelry for me, and their professionalism and knowledge were evident throughout the process. The piercer I worked with, May, was particularly outstanding - she was gentle, informative, and made me feel completely at ease about my body. I HIGHLY recommend this shop for anyone looking for a comfortable and professional piercing experience.

My best friend and I came here and the experience was so amazing! Friendly staff, big open space. The place is SO CLEAN! Thats very important when getting a tattoo or piercing done. Thr staff is so nice and very knowledgeable of what they specialize in. They also have a good variety of earrings to choose from not just your basic selection. Ask for May because she is the best! An unforgettable experience for us and we will be coming back! Highly recommend!

If you are looking to get pierced, May is the Queen! So far she has done 9 piercings on my ears, and I cannot recommend her or this studio enough! May is patient, thoughtful and precise when it comes to the piercing and an expert curator on advising which piercing/jewelry would work well based on anatomy, healing and lifestyle. Plus the studio is very clean and welcoming.

My second time to second souls did not disappoint. As a First Responder I have a difficult time scheduling things like tattoo appointments because i’m always on call or doing something for one of my agencies. I was a great experience to walk in and be recognized as a person, recall my last experience with a smile, as usual quality and cleanliness was top notch. Will absolutely be returning again.

Dania is super friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about piercing placement . I went with one piercing in mind (conch) but she was gentle and quick with the conch that I also did my second lobe piercings without an issue. I have three tattoos from this shop, one from Christian who does clean line work and two from Patrick who added color to my pre-existing tattoo & did amazing! He also does really well with color and packing in colors to make it really solid. The place is also really clean and well decorated. Super nice employees, I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back again.

[Edited to add in December 2023:] After the great piercing experience I had in August 2023 with May, I returned to 7 Souls in December 2023 for my first tattoo.I worked with Dania, who was fantastic at explaining the process and after care for my new tattoo. She also had a design in mind that took my thoughts and improved them.Family and friends have all commented on just how Danias work suits me perfectly.If I decide on any additional piercings or tattoos, 7 Souls, May, and Dania are tops on my list to work with.August 2023: I went to 7 Souls to see if my ear piercings from 30+ years ago could be reopened. May (Ariamay on her card) helped me select jewelry for my five piercings and got all five reopened again.She was pleasant, gentle, and professional. Also incredibly easy to talk to, which is good since I babble when I am nervous.If I decide to get any additional piercings, I’ll come back to May for them. And, I’m considering a first tattoo. This shop is at the top of my list if I decide to proceed with it.

The person who did my piercings was Libby. She was fantastic!! I had actually had those piercings done 20 years ago but she told me they were still open just needed to be done professionally in order to get jewelry in. Everything was super clean and it was quick and easy! Highly recommend!

Corey was super nice over phone and in person. May, who did my nostril piercing, was super understanding and quick throughout the process. The wait time was literally less than 10 minutes and I loved the interior design of the shop. May took care of sterilization, and Corey allowed me to choose my metal. The workers were able to answer all my questions in a quick and informative manner while also providing the best possible care. Definitely coming back soon!

The staff is really nice and accommodating but the tattoo i got was horribly done, the line work is not good and the lines were too deep. it was a flash tattoo for friday the 13th last year and it has healed by now and looks horrible. i had seb and it just seems like it was carelessly done.

I got tattooed by Libby last week and she was professional and great to work with! My design came out perfectly, its healing well, and she made sure my first tattoo experience was comfortable.

May was amazing!! Super patient. Answered my one million questions. This experience was soo much better, than my first nose piercing experience. It was pretty painless and over with so fast. May explained the after care and I will be back to get my hoop put in once I am healed. Also- I chose this place after a google search and IG posts. Def worth the price! Came here on a Tuesday, no appointment needed. The environment was very inviting and I was immediately greeted by Corey. He helped me and my sis browse our piercing jewelry options. Jewelry is not included in piercing pricing. They have gold options and silver/titanium(?) options. The pricing for the gold earrings (sold as a single, not pair) is VERY reasonable compared to the price for gold earrings that I saw at a different establishment (pleasurable piercings) and the customer service/sales experience at 7 souls is a thousand times better too. Got my conch and helix pierced by Yana and she made me very comfortable with explaining every step she did. Spent a little under $200, which I guess is a little pricey. BUT all considered, I’d come back for sure. Best part, they can re-use earrings you purchased from them during your previous visit to pierce your ears elsewhere when you come back. Now that I know this place exists, I likely won’t go anywhere else to get pierced. I’ve never been in a more patient and welcoming tattoo/piercing shop and I’ve already got plenty of piercings before this experience at 7 souls.

Ran in to get my helix piercing reopened and they couldn’t have been nicer. The shop was super clean and everything was handled very hygienically. May was wonderful, explaining everything as she went along, and just plain friendly. Would highly recommend!!

I walk-in requested a paired eyebrow piercing and the piercer, May, did a great job placing them based on the reference I provided. They were very kind, efficient, and knowledgable. They answered any questions my friend and I had in detail. The pricing seemed fair for the service, especially compared to others in the area. Very positive and professional experience overall!

I decided on a whim when I woke up this morning to get my septum pierced. Contacted the shop and within an hour it was done. May was amazing, shop was clean, May was confident, let me know about my deviated septum and I did it anyway. Love it, family loves it, friends love it. I have now told everyone to go see May if they want a piercing. Prices were about average for the area. ****UPDATE**** I ended up having to take the septum piercing out due to the high amount of pain I was in. When I asked May about the pain I was told it was normal. I went to get a tattoo at my normal place and asked the piercer there to take a look and was told I was pierced in the completely wrong place and that was why I was in pain. I wouldn’t go here I am nervous about getting it done again due to the high amounts of pain.

Amazing service, super comfortable and nice interior. Have many things to pass time even though the times i’ve been here the wait is short. I had May do multiple piercings for me and she’s great. The people where know what they’re doing and are super nice and explain everything well.

I came in after work to get the faux industrial Ive wanted for forever, and Im so glad I did!I called beforehand to make sure piercers were available, and the person on the phone was so nice!I was taken in immediately when I arrived. Everyone I spoke to was very nice, and the shop itself is clean, wonderfully decorated, and has a welcoming atmosphere.Yana did my piercing, and they are the best! I filled out the waiver, discussed what I wanted, picked out jewelry, went over pricing, and got pierced. Yana was very accommodating and checked in on me at multiple points throughout the piercing process to make sure I was doing well. We went over aftercare and then I went on my merry way with two new holes in my ear. 😎Overall, it was everything you could hope for in a piercing experience. Thank you Yana!!

I took my daughter (15) here for her belly button piercing and May took care of her. She was beyond professional from start to finish. She made sure she had the proper anatomy to have it done, created the mark to properly align the piercing, explained for her when to take breaths as she was inserting the needle, inserted the jewelry gently making it as painless as possible and very thoroughly explained how to clean/maintain it, and even recommended optimal clothes and sleeping positions during the healing process. I had this same piercing many years ago. Even though I remember I was explained cleaning, etc, I know for sure my experience wasnt nearly this professional and thorough. I was incredibly impressed. I highly recommend anyone looking for comfort, professionalism and care to go here and ask for May 🙌🏼🖤

Never would have thought to bring my 12 year old daughter to a tattoo parlor for ear piercing. They were very detailed and explained every single step. There’s also a great selection of earrings to choose from. May was great and made the experience for my 12 year old daughter feel comfortable.

My experience at 7 Souls has been amazing from start to finish. Corey is the most helpful person ever and I won’t have anyone else ever do any future tattoos I may get unless it’s Cristian. I would recommend this place as everyone is super friendly and Cristian is super talented.

I had a bad experience with a piercer at seven souls Ramsey but went to the seven souls in Englewood and had my best piercing experience. Will definitely be going back!

I went in on a Saturday and got a helix and daith piercing from May. It was a great experience! May was very helpful and explained everything about the piercing and aftercare process very thoroughly, and the experience itself was almost painless! They were kindly able to answer all of my moms questions very patiently too, which was a nice touch! 10/10 would recommend, I intend on getting some more piercings here in the future!!

This place is great. A lot bigger than I thought it was going to be which was a fun surprise. I had Dania as my artist. It was my first tattoo ever, and I let her know, but she kept herself (and me, in turn) cool and collected through the process and it didnt even end up hurting that much at all. 7 Souls is absolutely awesome. I struggle with anxiety and OCPT, so this process was a little overwhelming for me. The facility is clean and run efficiently. The staff is super friendly, and they calmed my nerves wonderfully. May and Corey were absolutely amazing and patiently answered all of my questions! I cannot recommend them highly enough!!

I’ve gotten pierced by May twice now (3rd lobe and Forward helix) and she’s wonderful!!! She makes sure that you love the placement and takes time with the entire process and does not rush you. She is super precise and the piercings I get from her heal very well.

Ive been here a few times to see May, their piercer. She is soooooo sweet and kind, and clearly VERY experienced. Its always a pleasure speaking with her. So far Ive gotten 2 helixes done by her, and my nose and plan on going back for future piercings. Absolutely the best peircer and an amazing human being. This place is very clean and professional, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. however, they charge entirely too much.with a $60 service fee, we ended up paying over $100 for two simple earlobe piercings. the place i usually go charges a little over $20 for the same service, and is equally as clean and professional.you’re better off going somewhere else since most places follow the same protocols of cleanliness for a lot less.peace and love, i will not be back

I was looking to get a couple of cartilage piercings and a nose piercing for my sister. Found this place and they are amazing. May was the one that did our piercing and she was fantastic. She was really helpful when it came to suggesting locations to pierce on my ear that would work with it. She was very professional and I even went back weeks later because one of them was hurting and she took care of it right away. Would definitely recommend! Also got a tattoo by Libby on my second visit and she was also amazing! All around super happy with everything I have gotten done there!

I took my daughter for a cartilage piercing in her ear. I’ve always wanted a tattoo but was too scared. I asked if I needed an appointment and they said no, they had time so I decided to get the tattoo I’ve been telling everyone I wanted ever since my first dog died in 2014. Dania was amazing. I showed her was I was thinking of. She showed meaimages and sizes. She explained everything thoroughly and said it doesn’t really hurt. It may just feel uncomfortable. She was exactly right. It was not painful at all. I’m so glad I went through with it.My daughter then did her piercing with Dania as well. She explained everything to my daughter. She was very patient while my daughter picked out her earring.She explained what the aftercare would be for each of us.The studio itself is very spacious and everyone was very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend 7 Souls to anyone who asks for a tattoo or piercing place.

Found this place and did a walk-in. Wasnt too confident about getting my first tattoo at first but Im glad I went. The tattoo artist was very thorough and honest with me through the entire consultation. He also offered me multiple suggestions while attempting to stay true to my initial interests (flowers/sword/butterfly) which helped me make my decision for what design to do. Pain level was surprisingly not too bad. Id say maybe a 4-5/10 considering it was the side of my ribs. May was wonderful! The environment appeared very clean and organized which was an absolute must for this (nurse) customer . There was a decent selection of jewelry. May was professional, confident, personal and skilled, and followed sanitary protocol. I will definitely return… just next time I’ll make an appointment. I had an amazing experience getting my second hole repierced. I went as a walk in appointment and waited about 15-20 mins as they were busy with someone else but this was expected. The seating area was nice and comfy and there was a jewelry display for you to choose from. The piercer took me back and her area was very sterile and tidy. She marked my ear and checked with me that’s what I wanted and was done almost immediately. I was told the prices up front and absolutely loved my experience!

Visited earlier today to get my nostril piercing downsized. Libby was super helpful with downsizing and pointed out that my piercing was 16 gauge instead of the usual 18 so I could choose new jewelry accordingly. She also answered some questions I had about my other piercings and the healing process, and the entire downsizing process was very sanitary and affordable. Highly recommend!
