Cant say enough about Flamingo Noir Collective. The atmosphere and energy is is inviting, funky and homey in the best ways possible. They have created a safe space for artists and clients to come and feel welcome and be themselves. I have had the pleasure of working with Aura several times and cannot say enough about this beautiful soul. Her work is top notch. If you are looking for a place to feel welcomed, heard and have beautiful work done the team and Flamingo Noir Collective is the place to go!

What can I say other than Aura is simply amazing. She made sentimental tattoo idea into an exceptional work of art. She also did a beautiful behind the ear cat in honor of my mom. The shop is beautiful and everyone there is very nice.

I had the pleasure of working with Josh after discussing an addition to my existing work done at another shop with Aura. I am by no means creative but explained what I was looking to do and WOW! I could not be more pleased with Joshs creation! He took the time to understand exactly what I was going for. His attention to detail is top notch. The atmosphere he and Aura have created is something to be reveled, very inviting and calming. Highly recommend!

Fell in love with an original Joshua Scott tattoo design. Had an amazing consultation with him and he worked with me to add in my fathers signature. Tattoo was executed gently and nearly painlessly. No more pain than scratching a sunburn and even that was minimal. Fantastic conversation and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I’ve been seeing Joshua Scott aka Midwest Josh for a long time now. He is an amazing artist and I will forever support his work!! I have multiple tattoos from him and I love every one of my tattoos!! The shop is clean and they make you feel welcome!!

Contacted Aura with an idea, she brought it to life 100 times better than i could have imagined! An amazing person to work it, great company while there and so attentive to making sure i was comfortable at all times. I have several tattoos from several artists. I will be coming back to Aura for all future tattoos.

Englewoods best kept secret, Flamingo Noir is a super clean, cute shop with a very chill vibe. Owners Josh (who I was tattooed by) and Aura are a lovely, welcoming couple with talent like you would not believe. Unlike other shops in Dayton who only care about the almighty dollar, Josh and Aura believe every person should have a right to have beautiful art on their body with extremely fair rates. We went all day on mine and still have a follow up, but I can tell you this will not be my last and I will solely support this kickass artists and humans. Check them out!!

She did a fantastic job making my piece and customizing it to me. This piece meant a lot to me it is for my brother that passed away. I couldn’t thank her enough and she’s the best person I know! Her work is amazing and I will always come back for more 🩷

NEED A NEW TATTOO? GO TO FLAMINGO NOIR COLLECTIVE!Literally OBSESSED with my new sun tarot card tattoo by the best and coolest artist, Aura. She was patient and made sure I was happy with the design and placement. Aura asked me multiple times if I was okay during the tattoo and that was much appreciated. She was fast with great results. Not to mention, the conversation was beyond amazing. I’m so happy with her work and I’m looking forward to being a lifelong client.It was my first time at Flamingo Noir Collective and I can, without a doubt, say it’s the BEST shop I’ve ever been to. They were so welcoming and provided a warm, safe space. The decorations of the place were dope too. It was clean and had good vibes. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this experience. ❤️❤️❤️

A great shop with great people. Got my tattoo done by Jenny Reeves, my second tat from her. She’s done a good job both times and is always fun to talk to. Very good when it comes to detailing! Josh (shop owner) is a good guy with a great sense of humor; had me and my mom laughing nonstop. Him and Jenny are good company for sure. They also, do a good job keeping the place clean for clientele. Had a very welcoming environment with some nice music playing throughout my time there. Definitely check them out for your next tattoo!

I visited Flamingo Noir for the first time today, and it definitely won’t be my last time! I was interested in a valentines flash piece that Josh had sketched but wasn’t able to make it in for the event. When I messaged to ask if I could book it anyway, Aura responded with enthusiasm and between her and Josh, they got me booked in a week later! At my appointment, Aura greeted me at the door for paperwork and was beyond sweet. When Josh took me back, he made sure I got exactly what I wanted as far as style, size, and placement. He made me feel extremely comfortable as I was getting my piece in a place where I had to roll the waist of my pants down a bit. We chatted the entire time he was working on me and when he was done, he provided thorough aftercare instructions and got me wrapped up to go. We even chatted for about 20 minutes after we finished about possible coverup options for a piece on my back. I’ve been to a lot of tattoo studios over the years and this place will quickly become a favorite of mine! The environment and people are just downright badass. I can’t wait to go back again!

I absolutely adore this shop! The vibe is great, the shop has a cozy vibe mixed with a fun environment that would make any client comfortable. All 3 artists are super talented but Aura is my artist for over a year now. I trusted her to do my children’s portraits and I am sure glad I did. She’s gone above and beyond for me and my expectations. She made sure to take everything I wanted into consideration and has made beautiful art that I am so proud to have on my body forever.

Favorite Tattoo shop hands down. The vibes are welcoming and as a female/non-binary person, it’s nice to feel cared for and listened to every step of the way. From idea conception to stencil/ink and after care, you can tell each artist loves what they do and it shows through conversation and work. Aura is my go to Artist when I’m in Ohio! I recommend fully. 10/10!

I came here to see Jenny as she’s been my girl for about 3 years now! Love her! Always great conversation and she’s so down to earth. Her and I just chat about everything and I never have to worry about my tattoos outcome. I know and trust that she will always do an awesome job! The vibe of this salon was so welcoming. When a worker talks about wanting to maintain and honor their profession, you have found a fantastic business. Josh took the time to go over every question and thought we had. He was also able to take my vision and propose a design that enhanced my concept and goals in a way I hadnt thought of. He was highly flexible and understanding, even with a new and inexperienced client. He was able to create an environment of comfort and friendliness, while preserving the clean, safe, and professional culture. Tattooing is lucky to have him and his team to shepard the legacy into the future.

My first Experienced at this shop is 10/10 hands down! Shop is clean and inviting with a great vibe. Something that really caught my attention was the ability to have a seperarly scheduled consult appointment prior to sitting in the chair. This was a huge value added step for me. I cant say enough positive things about Aura and her work. She is so full of love and absolutely radiates positivity.She did 3 pieces on my arm that I absolutely treasure, and the experience was so welcoming. Im not from the Ohio area, but I plan to make the 7 hour drive back to her shop when I want to add my next piece.

Aura did my family crest on my thigh in November. Contacting and communicating with her was fast and painless. Right away she made me feel welcomed and you can tell she genuinely loves her craft. Cant wait to get more work done with her in the future.

Great, welcoming place that allows for customer perspective. They all do great work, but I go to Josh. They always take care of their customers, but I think customers should take care of their artist too.
