Banter by Piercing Pagoda

My experience was amazing! Last night I went to go get my third hole piercing and I had excellent service from Tiya!! She was extremely nice and very professional. Usually i’m scared to go get my ears pierced but she made the experience so easy and pain free. I highly recommend going to her! :)

We had such a great experience! We had to redo a piercing that didnt work out and Thaylees did an amazing job and took such care to redo the marking as many times as it took until we were satisfied. She really was incredible!

Ari and Thaylees pierced our twins ears and did an amazing job! They took their time to make sure everything looked great beforehand and were clean and sanitary. Highly recommend!

Ari did such a great job with my second holes! I came with a very specific request and she exceeded my expectations. The other lady was exceptional as well although I cant remember her name, sorry! They were both very kind and patient and I appreciate it!

Sam was excellent! I made an awesome video collage with music that I will not upload for obvious reasons. But Sam is at West Farms in the kiosk. She also made sure I picked out the right earring for my son and he looks great (just weird when your last baby gets his ears pierced, its a step.....) Either way, she was wonderful to deal with, friendly with a nice personality as she made my son comfortable. 😀

We had a great experience at Banter by Piercing Pagoda and with our piercer Ari!She did a great job piercing my brother’s ear and he is VERY satisfied!! Ari took her time, and made sure the piercing was perfectly placed and the way my brother wanted it!Thank you Ari!!

Thaylees made my night with my new & improved ear piercing!! Many years ago I had my 2nd ear holes pierced but one of them was so off from the other one that Ive literally spent the last 30 something yrs rearranging my studs/hoops around bc of it.... well, not anymore!! Thank you for taking such good care of me & for your wonderful, friendly & professional customer service. Unfortunately its so rare these days, so when you do receive great service you should give praise & spread the word to others! We had a a great experience with the girls at piercing pagoda in the mall. They were so sweet and so kind that my 3 year old wasn’t nervous at all when they pierced her ears, she didn’t even cry!! I highly recommend them for piercing young kids, as they are experienced and their jewelry selection is great too!

Absolutely horrible. The male piercer is rude and has a huge ego. Went for a nose piercing, and he couldn’t stop talking about he has been piercing since he was young, clearly not long enough. He pierced my nose once and then took a bigger rod to pierce it again which hurt even more. It felt as though he was manhandling my nose. Put a piercing in with a piece that was too small for my nose. After I went home I bled non stop for a full week, it filled tissues. Went back to him and he told me he messed up and took it out. You guys should seriously fire him.

SO SPLENDID. Ari and Tiyah helped me pick out 2 chains. And match the pendants, they were so helpful and sweet and cute and nice. I also was able to pick out a 3rd chain for free due to a sale!!!!! Wonderful location and people.

Took my daughter to get her ears pierced at banter, westfarms. The women in the kiosk were wonderful. So kind, and great with my girl. Later we went to the storefront for body piercing for me, and had an amazing experience there as well. Would highly recommend!I will say, it was more expensive than I was expecting and didn’t fully understand what I was getting or paying for until later when I read through the receipt/checked the website. But even that doesn’t warrant a demerit!

Eli was professional and very helpful with picking out jewelry. My navel piercing was painless. I was nervous at first because I have a low pain tolerance but it was quick and I felt nothing. Didn’t believe it was pierced because it did not hurt at all. Can’t wait to come back for my ear piercing.

I agree with the review about the needle piercing guy, he made me feel very uncomfortable the whole time I was getting pierced, also my piercing process hurt the whole time , he is not gentle or even tries to be ,it felt like he was hurting me on purpose actually ! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy ! He is also very fresh with his little comments and made me feel very very uncomfortable! If you want a piercing please go elsewhere ,you will be safer !

I was ready to get my nose and ear cartilage pierced today , and began googling places in my area . Unfortunately, Banter never showed up in my search, only Claire’s. I went to Westfarms Mall and was planning on going to Claire’s . I walked in and saw the piercing pagoda/ Banter kiosk. I inquired if they did nose piercings She said they did not, but explained they had a piercing expert, at their sister store, right around the corner. She also said that Claire’s uses a gun, but at Banter they used a needle. She suggested to stop in and speak with Eli , and he can explain the process in detail. I was happy I did. He walked me through everything, took his time to answer all of questions, and made sure I was happy with the position of my piercings. I honestly thought the procedure was going to be painful, but it hardly hurt it all. I just wish that there was more information about your services on the internet, so customers know their options.

If this could be less than one star it would be. The review is for the store not the kiosk. The “gentleman” who does the needle piercings was disgustingly rude. I don’t know if he thinks his personality was cute but I walked right out after planning on getting a piercing and other jewelry for myself and as gifts and I plan on letting other people know to avoid going there if the guy with the curly hair, neck tattoos and face piercings is there because he will ruin your day and you’ll consider piercing your own body with a rusty nail before letting him speak to you again.

Tiyah and Sam helped me out ALOT. They were really helpfull and overall my kids enjoyed them too. Keep you the good job

I just got my nose pierced at the Westfarms Mall location. Eli is great. He is very organized, makes sure everything is clean and new, talks you through the steps, and makes sure you are happy before he starts to do the piercing. For me personally, I would give it a 1 for pain, but I know everyone is different. If you are thinking of getting a new piercing, Eli is the person you would want to go to. Make sure to check for their sales I got the piercing, jewelry, aftercare solution, and extended warranty for 80 bucks. At the normal price, it would have been close to 110. So happy!!!!

Just avoid. I bought a ring to wear as a wedding ring from them. 6 months later it split for no real reason and they wont do anything about replacing it.

Staff answered all my questions and concerns. I will be back soon to purchase the bracelet I saw.

I got my septum done the other day and my friend got her navel. the piercer was super cool and really funny and definitely helped ease our nerves. the other staff who (i think) was doing the jewelry sales part was really sweet too :) definitely recommend!

I was looking to upgrade my existing chain ($599) with warranty. I picked out a 759$ chain and was going to get the warranty with that as well. But I was turned away because the chain I wanted to upgrade wasn’t “broken”. In what world does a company not allow a “perfect” condition item to be upgraded, but in the same breathe allow a broken item to be upgraded. I proceed to ask “so I can come back with the chain snapped and you’d do the transaction?”, she says yes. What kind of service is that? Should have just snapped it right there but cooler heads shall prevail. Great company policy to turn away 150$ from just one customer let alone all other customers that came to this dilemma.

The lovely woman who pierced my ear was absolutely wonderful!

I had a really bad experience, the lady told me to hold until she was done wit another customer which I did patiently. When she was done with the customer she proceeded to tell me to go to another store location at the mall because she was going to clock out. I waited around 30 min for her to tell me to leave because she wouldn’t be able to help me. Instead of tell me this in the beginning. Not good customer service. The other location in in the other hand really good service.

Just went to Banter by Piercing Pagoda to get our 5 month-old’s ears pierced after just about every pediatrician and piercing shop wouldn’t do it. Kim and the staff were fantastic - very careful, patient, and very helpful. Great experience!

The person who pierced me was very nice but the prices were high (I was only shown 14k gold options, maybe that’s all they have now?) and the piercer pierced one of my ears crooked so the two together look uneven. If you’re looking for a cheap place w/ a piercing gun, just go to Claire’s but try an actual (credited) piercing shop. Wouldn’t recommend especially for the higher prices

Got my ears pierced at their store location next to the center court of west farms October 2021. The piercings never healed even though I used the solution that they overcharged me for ($10 in store $5 on their website). I was sold 14k gold plated earrings that were made so poorly the gold flaked off and irritated the piercing. I ended up going to a tattoo shop 6 months later and paying for titanium studs and going to the doctor for a prescription antibiotic to heal my ears. Don’t go here.

Great Customer service, Employees are very knowledgeable of the products they sell and are always willing to go above and beyond. Great place to get your childs ears pierced. My daughter loves her new earrings.

The manager Taya (I apologize if I spelled that incorrectly) was absolutely amazing and extremely professional. She handled everything promptly, professionally and with class.I appreciate it so much and will be returning for more gifts!

Poor customer service; 3 employees working at the moment and all of them ignored us while we were looking at the jewelry (it wasn’t busy at all). Had to call them over and then they’d leave every few minutes to talk to their co-workers. Felt like we were bothering them every time we wanted to look something. Worst part of all is that they didn’t have any product knowledge and couldn’t answer simple questions about their merchandise. Was looking forward to purchasing 3-5 items but lack of care and feeling unwanted made us leave early.

I wanted to do something for myself so I bought a $400 chain. It hasn’t been 24 hours the chain broke twice in 2 spots barely doing anything. I feel like the guy knew it was something that breaks easy bc he stated with emphasis “YOU DO REALIZE THIS IS A $400 CHAIN IF IT BREAKS AND YOU DONT HAVE OUR INSURANCE WE CANT FIX IT FOR YOU” the insurance was $39 extra. I am going to try to return the chain today. I hope they don’t give me a hassle

Absolutely terrible the worst experience i’ve ever had this was ridiculous. stood there for 40 minutes waiting to see 1 pair of earrings and no one came over to take them out at all. someone came once and said they’ll be right with me and never came anywhere near me again i sat there forever and ended up just leaving

Me and my kids all got our ears pierced today with the two beautiful ladies that were there and they did a phenomenal job. I will recommend everyone I know!!!

If your looking to get your ears pierced for a reasonable price, then here is the place to do it. they also have a nice selection of earrings for purchase. Its only a kiosk in the center isle of the mall, not a regular store, just in case you walk by it looking for a store location .

Piercing Pagoda is NOT a place you should ever be pieced at. And I mean N E V E R. Just because it’s reasonably priced does not mean it’s a good idea and they will most likely get infected. You can by all means buy some jewelry here if you want... for already HEALED piercings but do not come here or to CLAIRES for your piercings, even ear piercings. Thanks.

This is horrible I drove way from Waterbury to exchange my daughter necklace she supposed to wear in her birthday and the store was close at 10:30 am very unacceptable lights still off glass covered it’s horrible experience and waste of gas only the kiosk was open and my hold was at the piercing place very disassafied
