Badi Ellis is the best there is. He did my first tattoo over 12 years ago, and it has meant so much to me over the years. I needed to get another one done and I was so happy to hear that he was still at Imperial Ink (now the owner). He did a great job, and I really cant recommend him enough. Very compassionate and all around great guy. I dont think youll go wrong with anyone at Imperial, but I am so grateful he squeezed me in his schedule to work with me again.

My fiancé and I decided to get a last minute valentines day tattoo from Amity Afflication flash sheets and stumbled upon this shop after a Google search, but Im so thankful we did. Tatum did our tattoos. They were clean, quick, and absolutely reasonably priced. The person running the counter up front was also super approachable and very quick. We are both heavily tattooed (my fiancé more than me) and have been trying to find a new tattoo artist after moving here from out of state. I will absolutely be back for more artwork soon. I would highly recommend this shop for someone whose never been tattooed because they were extremely welcoming and I would recommend this shop for a tattoo collector because of their professionalism.

Amazing atmosphere, chill artists and always playing some jam up music. I wont go anywhere else from now on Im hooked to Imperial Ink. Badi Ellis is the best!

Ive been to Imperial Ink for 4 tattoos of various size and design for a total of 7 visits. I am incredibly happy with my experiences, I recommend them to anyone interested in getting tattooed, and I dont plan on going anywhere else. They are kind and their work is amazing, and that makes me feel comfortable knowing Im in good hands (even fighting through pain). Edit: I forgot to mention but Sam is the exceptional artist who does my tattoos, and shes amazing! Go ask for Sam!

Sam is a great artist, but had a terrible attitude the ENTIRE time. I will NEVER go back to her. First time in a shop & she ruined it.

I traveled 1hr 30min and they turned me away 3 times. The walk ins are appointments only, the door was locked at open and wouldn’t answer the door and they don’t start service until 1 o’clock. Wasted my time and gas. I was the first and only client there. I beginning to think NO COLORED ALLOWED

Great customer service and superb atmosphere! Tatum was absolutely fantastic to work with as far as the design and everything. I cannot recommend Imperial Ink enough!!

Had a great experience with my visit and time spent in the shop. Staff was awesome, all very helpful and informative. I had the pleasure of being tattooed by Sam. She did an amazing job with the two pieces I had done while there. I will definitely be back for more work.

I highly recommend this place to anyone. I just got my first tattoo 2 days ago by Zach. All I can say is perfect. My first experience. Very pleased. The environment was clean, nice and comfortable. Zach made me feel very relaxed and calm. I love my tattoo. I highly recommend Zach. Awesome. Thank you so much.

I only have one tattoo so far, and the awesome Badi Ellis (owner) did it. He and his other artists are so very great at what they do!! A very comfortable feeling while getting my tattoo, felt like I was at home. These guys are awesome, and planning my next tattoo soon!!!

Havent gotten a tattoo yet (currently have an appointment on Tuesday) but the atmosphere was very welcoming. Everyone was talking and joking, they definitely made me feel welcome. I was scared to go because I heard they were ridiculously high priced. (for the quality level of their work that Ive seen, theyre really cheap.) Cant wait to get my first tattoo from here, and hopefully many more after that!

The guys at Imperial Ink are all great. This is a fun group of artists doing what they love and doing one hell of a job of it. Chris did a small piece for me last year to clean up some work I had done at another shop. I was so happy with the quality I am back for a cover-up of a regret tattoo I had done in college. The cover-up is going to be the largest piece Ive ever committed to and I would only trust this group to do it. Quality of work is the highest Ive experienced and they are a professional group of artists. Highly recommend! Will post the finished piece when done.

This shop is one of the best around by far. The shop is always clean and all the tattoo artists here are great at their profession with a vast knowledge of the trade. My husband and I personally use Chris Compton for all of our tattoo needs. If youre ever in, close by, or near Florence SC and you want a tattoo definitely check out one of the artists here at Imperial ink.

This place is great. I was asking for the ride with my cousins in law for a group tattoo in honor of their mother in law, my aunt. One of us was a tattoo virgin, and scared to death, but determined.The artists and staff are great at their work, and their bedside manner was as good as it gets, in my experience. The tattoo virgin is now a tattoo addict like the rest of us, and I would happily spend another $100 in this building, no questions asked.

Great with tattoos but to try and get back in to fix details that were over looked will never happen. When they say they give you a year on it…. Multiple tattoos later and still need 5 fixed. It’s a one and done show.

Everyone was super nice, very professional, nice calming environment, very clean, I went in as a walk in not know what i wanted fully, a lot nervous, and a little scared cuz it was my first tattoo but then they introduced me to Justin who is a fabulous, amazing artist, who was very understanding, kind, knowledgeable and very gentle with me, as if i were and old friend. My first tattoo experience was awesome I already have a schedule appointment for my second tattoo that Justin will be giving me and I plan on getting more and I will only do it at Imperial Ink Tattoo Studio. Thanks to the whole Imperial Ink Tattoo Crew for a day i will never forget.

Been going to these guys for years (7 sessions). Never had a bad experience. They are very welcoming when you first walk into their shop. They make you feel comfortable while getting tattooed by always joking and laughing with you (works well for those who are first timers or nervous). I once went into their competitors shop and felt VERY out of place and like I was not wanted in there. Check out Imperials artists Facebook pages and you can see their quality work.(Badi Ellis, Chris Compton and Justin Strong). You wont be disappointed!

Badi is such a talented artist and an even lovelier person. He created my hawk combining several aspects of inspiration. I wanted the fierce approach, but I wanted to keep it dainty. Its one of a kind and if you zoom in youll see his mastery of detail. Such a lovely piece and Im honored to be sporting his work!Thanks again, Badi!

I have been going to imperial ink for years and not once have I ever been disappointed. The images I have had in my head have been realized even beyond my expectations. When it comes to getting tattooed, I am very particular and only expect the best. Imperial Ink IS the best. To date, I have a full upper chest piece, 2 full rib pieces, 2 full sleeves and an upper back piece. All of which has been completed at Imperial Ink. I am treated as a person and not dollar signs. I have known the artists there, in many configurations for quite a number of years and look at all of them as my friend. If you are looking for a great tattoo studio, I would definitely recommend Imperial Ink.

Have gotten three difficult tattoos from Badi that I thought I would have to travel out of state for.. and an awesome one from his apprentice, Sam, today. They are so talented and helpful! At this point, wouldnt go anywhere else ❤

These guys are top of the line. I would refer everyone to them. I was very comfortable, despite having insecurities about my body. The tattoo is well done and I am loving inked life. I think I may be coming to get my ears pierced and maybe even gauged. Still researching it to death.(No doubt they will reeducate me when I do decide to come in.) Thanks guys, you rock!!!!!

Jamie was so helpful in answering all of our questions. Such a sweet lady. Zach did an awesome job on mine and my husbands tattoos! I would defiantly recommend imperial ink I know ill be going back.

My wife and I went in for matching tattoos on our forearm. We got there 5 minutes early and the tattoo artist still hadnt drawn up our tattoo after 15 minutes. We both have multiple tattoos. The artist tattooed my wife first. While still getting the coloring of the tattoo, my wife mentioned that there wasnt the shading as in the picture we sent in 2 months ago. She even showed her the original picture. Her response was I just started the shading! Needless to say my wife has no shading in her tattoo. When her tattoo was completed my wife said she liked it, but this is what it was supposed to look like and showed her the picture again. She matched the picture better for my tatoo; however, she was very heavy handed. My wifes arm was red and swollen for three days after receiving the tattoo and both of us still have deep scabs two weeks later. We are not new to receiving tattoos. I have a full back and several in other areas and my wife has four. Both of us said that if this was our first tattoo, we would not get another one.

My husband and I got matching tattoos from Chris and absolutely loved it. I get compliments on it all the time. Not to mention it was on my foot, which is a difficult place to begin with. He worked his magic and its by far my favorite tattoo. Ready to get back in there soon to get a tattoo representing my other son.

My tattoo experience at imperial ink was excellent. My artist Badi made me feel extremely comfortable even down to the music I listened too. He took his time and made my tattoo look 10x better than expected. If you want some really nice ink at a reasonable price go see Badi at Imperial Ink.

Imperial Ink is the place to go for your next tattoo! Clean shop & friendly, knowledgeable staff. My sister in law had an awesome tattoo done by Chris they really will work with you and the end results are phenomenal.

My wife and I have been going to imperial for a couple years now. Chris Compton has done 75% of my tattoos and I wont go to anyone else. Dont get me wrong they are all GREAT artists, Chris is just my go to guy. Check them out, no disappointments I guarantee!!

The guys at ImperialInk are very laid back and approachable! They are willing to work with you and any budget you may have and do awesome work! Badi is the artist I use and his dotwork and creativity are astounding! However, all of the artist have their own special approach to their work and take pride in what they are able to do for their client to ensure their happiness!

I have not gotten a tattoo from Imperial Ink, but I know several people who have. Their tattoos looked great and they told me the shop was clean and the artist were very professional. Might have to stop by there and get my next tattoo and a redo.

Decent quality, however the staff is not professional. One guy came in way late because he was drunk the night before. I dont think I want someone with a hangover doing my tattoo.

Though not at this shop, Chris Compton was the last artist I used and I loved the results. I get a ton of compliments on both my Scottish lion/St. Andrews cross and my Celtic style ring (which to his credit, Chris tried to talk me out of because of the natural wear that would occur).

My last 3 tattoos have come from this parlor from 3 different artists. This last one was from Amber and she was on point. Will definitely be returning.

After several not so wonderful tattoo experiences I found my way to Imperial Ink and was VERY happy with the quality of work and the atmosphere in the shop. I highly recommend them to anyone looking!

Badi is the man. I walked in thinking I was only getting a consultation, but he squeezed me in and did a PHENOMINAL job. I honestly cant stop staring at my new tattoo. Badi also had someone change the music to some J-trap so I felt at home. A HUGE thanks to everyone at Imperial!

Friendly staff and they make sure ur getting what you pay for,and they dont charge by the hour which is great. Took my daughter for consult and they were great and next week booking for tattoo
