Chosen Art Tattoo

What a great place!! My brother, sister and I were walk-ins and they treated us like family immediately. They made us feel comfortable and at home. My artist, Tim, was awesome, to say the least. He was gentle and very friendly. You can tell everyone there loves what they do and has great pride in all of their work! I highly recommend and Ill be returning again next time Im in town.

Alex was great! Funny and great ambiance. Gave my mom and I exactly what we wanted at an amazing price. I live in Massachusetts and will definitely be coming back to this place next time I’m out here.

Amazing experience! My husband and I have been looking for a new place to get some work done on tattoos weve had planned but couldnt really find a place after moving from the east side. We were really drawn by Alexs work, and we were not disappointed! Im about a week out from some very clean line work, and cant wait to go back to continue working on my sleeve and designing some new pieces. (Pictures are day-of).

This was my first tattoo and I had a great experience. Eric made me feel welcome and had a great chat at consultation. I asked for a couple of changes and he was really accommodating. The experience of getting the tattoo was great and the actual tattoo is amazing, I am so happy with it. The shop is really clean and cool. I love it here. It’s a super clean environment and always welcoming. I would definitely recommend working with Alex. She is SO talented and has done my latest three tattoos. I plan on sticking with her for all of the rest because she takes her time and makes sure it’s something you love. Not to mention I literally send her a random picture for inspiration and she’ll make it EXACTLY what I imagined but better. It’s crazy and I’m so glad I decided to get work done here.

Jason and Jake are both amazing artists and clearly have a passion for what they do. Amazing line work and beautiful color. My wife and I both got tattooed and were extremely impressed by the level of professionalism in the shop. The shop is extremely clean, a very good atmosphere, and ALL of the artist are extremely skilled. We will definitely be back for all of our future work. I contacted Eric about getting a lot of different tattoos on my hands. He was able to get me scheduled quickly. Once I walked into their new shop the greeting I received made me feel at home. Eric customized 4 different tattoos for me in no time then we go to down to business. He is fast light handed and at all times focused on the quality of the ink. The whole time I was in the chair we were engaged in great conversation not one dull moment. The whole vibe of his shop is top notch. 10 out of 10 would recommend this shop if you are looking for a new tattoo. I will definitely be back.

I have gone to Chosen Art for 4 tattoos now and I have never been disappointed! From how friendly the staff is to how clean the shop is, and how talented the artists are- I would 10/10 recommend this place to everyone. Sierra is amazing!! I went to high school with her, and it is so impressive to see how her art has evolved. She has an incredible gift of being able to transform your vision onto paper, and then such a gentle hand when tattooing! She freehanded some floral designs on my last piece and I am constantly getting compliments on how clean and beautiful it is! Y’all need to go check her out :)

The studio is really nice and the artist are very pleasant. I talked with Eric while he waited for a client and the conversation was great. Alex did the work on my wife’s tattoo and she was super professional and her work is top notch. I’m always cautious about working with new artists but you won’t go wrong here.

My husband, daughter and myself came in this past Friday. This place is clean and everyone is super cool! Jason did my husband’s tattoo and it turned out awesome! Mat had a cancellation so he did mine and my daughters..we were first timers and a little nervous! He put us at ease right away and was a pleasure to talk to during the whole process. We LOVE our tattoos!! We would never go anywhere else! Great art and a bunch of great guys 🙂

Can’t say enough good things about this shop. I went in for my very first tattoo yesterday. We were greeted at the door right away and got the process started. Mat was my artist. He was amazing! Totally put me at ease as I was super nervous. He was very gentle and precise. He placed the stencil a couple different times until it was how I wanted it. He is also crazy funny! He kept me laughing the whole time. Nice laid back guy who took it easy on a nervous first timer! Will most definitely be back to see Mat again! Nice clean shop

Best tattoo shop I’ve ever been to! I have had work done by both Eric and Tim and couldn’t be happier. They are extremely talented.. they listen to what you want and do a great job at communicating throughout the process. Shop is also extremely clean! Really cool shop. Had my first tattoo done here yesterday. My artist, Matt Foster, was a really cool guy. He gave me breaks whenever I asked, gave me pointers, and overall was a great artist. The piece that I got is phenomenal and I’m so happy. Overall 10/10 experience, definitely would recommend to anyone.

This shop is beautiful! Clean, and very comfortable. Alex did my tattoo and she is an amazing artist. She worked on a tree of life tat of mine which was done as a cover up many years ago; and I was just never really happy with it. Boy, that woman is amazingly talented. She heard my concerns and remembered the ideas I shared with her and created a unique piece for me that is more beautiful than I could have asked for. Seriously, stop searching for a tattoo place and head there now!!!

I was super intimidated to get my first tattoo, especially after a poor experience reaching out to other artists. The studio is clean and welcoming, and Sierra was super chill and asked a lot of questions to get an idea of what I wanted. I felt really comfortable with her. I am happy with my experience and thrilled with my tattoo!

So I went here to get my first tattoo and absolutely loved everything about it! My first tattoo is very personal to me (and big) and I really wanted it to be amazing. I had Mat do it and he really did an amazing job so far. I had some new designs done here on my shoulder and arms. Great prices, very clean and relaxed atmosphere. Great team of artists and they helped me expand on my idea of what I wanted with Irish tattoos. Owner came over and asked how everything is coming along. I will be back!

I had such a wonderful experience with this shop from start to finish! Nik was my artist and did a fantastic job both designing and inking my first ever tattoo and was super helpful throughout the entire process. The tattoo came out great and Im extremely happy with it. The whole shop has an awesome atmosphere and great people and Ill definitely be back for more work in the future.

I walked in at 8pm and my tattoo was done in less than an hour. Tim was the one who helped me out. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he printed it out and got it put on transfer paper super quick with no issues. Everything was very clean and a good vibe and good music!. I love how they have little booth type areas so your not in just a big open room. Tim got it done, and I love my tattoo. Reasonably priced and great location. Highly recommend and will be going back!

I just had my tattoo done yesterday afternoon by Jack Mora at Chosen Art. It was a great experience. The shop is clean and everyone was friendly. Jack did a great job. I had brought him a picture last week and he brought it to life. Im so very pleased. Im sure that I will go back. I just have to control how soon. Definitely recommend and I know I wont go anywhere else. Even a friend of mine who has no tats said if she finds what grabs her...she will only go to Jack at Chosen Art. Thanks again.

Nick did my tattoo and I really love it! He took the time to listen to what I wanted, gave me great advice based on years of experience, and then he created a beautiful piece that I love showing off! Everyone at the shop is super nice and helpful, its clean and inviting, and the artists are quality. You cant go wrong here.

Not only the cleanest tattoo parlor I have even been in, but Eric was professional, funny and made my experience on of the best I have had while getting a tattoo done! Matt Valdez worked his magic! After seven months of being in and out of the hospital, I was finally able to get my tattoo! Matt was so patient and gave it his all to perfecting my tattoo just the way I wanted it. My experience was absolute joy and Id definitely go back to Matt for another one. Got a new tattoo with them last night and it’s beautiful! All of the artists are crazy talented but Mat is my (and my husband’s) artist. From the minute you walk in the door, everyone is friendly and the environment is super comfortable. I’ve been to other shops and they don’t even come close to Chosen Art.Mat did an awesome job on my new one and I can’t wait to go back for the next session!

I am extremely happy that I went to Chosen Art! Some of my previous tattoos from a shop in Arkansas have not turned out the greatest so I was much pickier in where I wanted to go for my new tattoo. I finally decided on Chosen Art and couldnt be happier! Mat brought the design my friend drew for me to life and it looks amazing. He also added to one of my old pieces and made it look so much better. The shop was awesome, welcoming and clean, and I will definitely be going back in the future!

Chosen art tattoo is great! I am not from around here and happened to find this place with a Google search and I must say its the best thing Ive done! Well I have found the place I want to go for any tattoos I want in the future! Chosen Art was very clean and organized. Pricing was reasonable. Matt was great! Very detail oriented which is great because I am picky lol. He answered all of my questions over the phone and in person. He was so entertaining and we had some good laughs. I looked through all the artists works and really wanted to work with Mat so I called him up and came in the next day. He brought my beautiful idea to life and Im in love with my new piece. My husband and I came in last week for a consult with Mat. We wanted a particular design that my husband sketched and Mat worked with us to get it perfect! Just got our tattoos tonight and we are blown away with Mat’s attention to detail and ability to make us feel comfortable. The price was very reasonable considering we got amazing art done professionally and in a very clean facility. We will definitely be going back soon to get more and we highly recommend them!

Matt was great! I knew what I wanted but than was unsure once we started talking through the placement. He was very patient with me and worked with me until I was confident in what and where I wanted my tattoo. It came out great, exactly what I wanted! He even checked on me a couple hours later. I will definitely go back and recommend Matt to others.

My artist is Matt Valdez. He did a beautiful cover up for me 3 years ago and just recently we started another piece on my forearm. He took a lot of time to make sure that every detail was perfect before doing the tattoo. Its beautifully detailed and I love it. The shop is clean and has a friendly atmosphere.

Had been looking for a new tattoo shop and found chosen art. We came in to check it out and talked with Tim and he was great and got us all set up. Came in and got mine done and loved it. My husband was set up for the next day. We will be coming here for future ink. We loved this place, its clean, professional, friendly, love it.

I am always worried about getting tattoos especially with artist I didn’t know. I walked in and immediately get greet by Tim. I showed him a picture and listened to everything I wanted and he ensure that the sketch was to my liking. Not only is this place really chill, but it is very professional and they make sure you feel welcome. I did a half sleeve and it was just a great tattoo that I getting my full sleeve done by Tim. Words can’t explain how amazing this place.

I had my first tattoo with Jake McKeen today at Chosen Art. He was awesome, listened to what I wanted and was patient to walk me through the process. I has a design in my head to wrap around some existing work I had on my right forearm. Since I had the money, I didnt really want to wait weeks and months to get it done. I reached out to multiple shops in the area and was told due to complexity, we need x amount of time usually meaning weeks or whenever they got to it. I looked at Chosen Art, saw Alexs work and her Instagram and knew immediately she was the one to put my idea to ink. I contacted her through the Chosen Art website, she got back to me right away, I sent her a few pictures and she said she could do it, AND could do it the next day.Got to the studio, she did a quick consult, she already had the design planned out and just needed to size it to fit. my arm and existing work. She was even able to provide some suggestions to make the current and new designs look seamless and fixed some of the issues with the existing tattoos. Prior to this session, Id never say for more than 2 hours, this session took almost 5 and was worth every minute. I told her my plans to continue adding to my current theme and she was already throwing suggestions my way.Since this tattoo was pretty big, I was concerned about care, so I emailed the shop with a few questions and even on a day they were closed, I got fast and courteous responses.From initial contact to final result, this experience was top notch. Alex is professional, courteous and easy to talk to and keeps you engaged during the tattoo process. Ive recommended them to 2 friends already, and cant wait to show off my custom work of art. I’ve been wanting to get a tattoo for years, but was nervous about the actual process. My friend got one done by Mat and it was amazing! I went in last week and Mat was super patient and took his time listening to the ideas I had and helped me create an amazing design. He was patient as I made a number of tweaks before finalizing the design. I went in tonight and got it done. I couldn’t be happier with the results! Mat is super professional, the shop is clean and everyone else there was friendly as well. I would recommend @artistmatvaldeez to anyone looking.

Matt Foster is AMAZING! I went in to get an old chest tattoo covered and you would have no idea it ever existed! Its absolutely stunning! He also did a script piece on my rib cage, that turned out rad! He has a very light hand and I liked his vibe, definitely put me at ease. I will for sure get future work done with him.

Went in today to see about getting a tattoo with my sister. As soon as we walked in the shop we were greeted by Jason who was very friendly and offered us water. Shortly after finishing up with a client, him and Tim came and talked with us about our ideas. In just a few short minutes for sketching we were under the needle. Both tattoos came out perfect at a very reasonable price. It was a pleasant experience with some kickass music and people. Cant wait to go back for more ink!

Im still amazed at what Eric put together for my cover tattoo. Went in a few weeks ago to discuss what I was thinking and he came back with something I cant believe. The detail and shading is amazing and is really a work of art. Time in the chair was full of good conversation (if thats what you want) from world affairs to our kids. His team is friendly and engaging and were really intrigued by what Eric was making. The studio is the cleanest one Ive ever seen, right down to the organization of the individual stations and the bathroom. And his method of aftercare for the tattoo after is simple and easy to follow. Defiantly check this place out.

Weeks of research led me to Matt and the guys at Chosen Art.. Everyone was so friendly! Matt really cared about the artwork I wanted to honor my dad. This was my first tattoos and I couldnt be happier with every part of my experience !! My art is outstanding ! My husband.. Sons.. And daughter will be seeing Matt and the guys too!! Had a beautiful piece hand drawn by my artist jack. I told him the general concept I wanted, and trusted his artistic abilities to get something great done, and he didnt disappoint. In fact, he had two separate tattoos drawn up for me and let me pick which one I wanted more on the day that I came in for my appointment. He spent six hours on it, and got the majority of it done and didnt charge anywhere near what I anticipated for that amount of time and detail. I cant wait to go back and finish the last bit of it up. Truly welcoming, and skilled professionals deserving of 5 stars.

This was my first tattoo and Matt did an awesome job!! After seeing the art Matt did for my wife I knew he was artist to create my memorial to my brother who lost his battle with cancer. Was it clean? Well of course. I mean I dont think too many people would stick around if a shop wasnt. Chosen Art Tattoo though sets the bar pretty high for other shops to compete in cleanliness of shop AND in their work. Can tell the staff likes to have fun, but serious about their craft. Everybody there was having a good time each time Ive been there all while creating amazing works of art for the clients. I couldnt be happier with the piece Eric just did for me.

Hands down, RECOMMEND. When you lose a family member it’s hard to cope sometimes. I wanted to get a tattoo that reminded me of my dad who I lost two months ago. I chose Matt to do my tattoo. I stalked his FB page so I could see his previous work and his tattoo style fit my criteria. I told him what I was looking for and how much this tattoo meant to me and he made it happen. I didn’t know what to expect when I walked in, but I’m glad I choose him. I felt like he actually cared. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and took his time and never rushed. I have 31 tattoos and this one by far was the least painful and most meaningful. The shop was clean, the atmosphere all around was great, everyone was nice. FRIENDLY. CLEAN. AFFORDABLE. PROFESSIONAL! As soon as I entered they made me feel comfortable. Jake is the artist that took care of me I showed him what I wanted he designed it and had it ready in under 15 min. Not only did he work quick but the quality of his work was Amazing! He answered all my questions and gave me great after care instructions. I plan to go back so he can do more pieces for me.

Lots of diverse styles too so its unlikely that yours wont be covered.Do it.

These guys have a cool shop. I am having the best experience with Alex Ortegus here at Chosen Art. I was referred to her, saw her artwork and I was sold. Its my first tattoo and she listened to what I wanted, did what she does best and presented me with an original that was incredible. When she sent me what shell be putting on my arm, I was more than stoked. The first 3 hour session was great and when your artist says I cant wait to finish this for you, thats pretty cool. The 2nd session is scheduled and I know the finished product is gonna have me wanting a second tattoo. Yeah, and Alex will be doing it. I found my artist and Im keeping her! 👍🙂

Everyone in this shop has really awesome attitudes! The shop is clean, another plus was that they didnt mind my kids being there. My husband and I both had multiple tattoos done by Nik and Alex they turned out amazing. They added every detail I asked for, and took the time to really make sure we loved our tattoos.

I was a walk in for my first tattoo, it was very laid back and relaxed, a very welcome environment! My last artist totally screwed me over and it took me some time and research to find a new artist. My friend recommended I go look at their website and all their artist are incredible. They have an incredibly clean shop which is a big deal and the artist are super nice and will talk to you while youre being worked on which I like. They do amazing work and are quick. A great shop with a great vision. Just got my first tattoo at this shop a few days ago and it was a great experience. I came in with a sketch of what I like and a budget and the wonderful staff and artists worked together with me to create a wonderful tattoo that Im proud to have. As a traveling artist, this place was a great place to host my clients. The decor and spacing was thoughtful and clean and the crew was very positive and professional. When the artists arent tattooing, I saw them keep busy drawing which is a great sign. These guys arent rockstars but real artists and I would recommend them to anybody.

First time working with this shop. I stopped in at their prior location on Thunderbird originally, but had the work done at their new location in old town Glendale. I like the new location alot - much more open and not in a busy strip mall. Sierra was my artist. She did a cover up of an old one - she did an awesome job laying it out and it looks great! The first thing out of my mouth upon entering the shop was about how clean, crisp and sanitized it smelt! To me, a clean smelling shop is the first thing you should pay attention to! I was greeted within seconds of walking in and appreciated my immediate acknowledgement. This wasnt my first time working with Eric but it was my first time at the new space and I just want to give praise to the hard work and well rounded establishment that is being run over there. I recommend anyone I know to go there. The one thing that sticks out most to me is the excitement and interest the other artists took into the work Eric was putting in. These guys dont need to like my tattoo choices or even care for the story behind them, but each guy working that night made it a point to come by and comment and really take interest in the tattoos and story behind them. I went in to Chosen Art as a walk in to get a quote for fixing a tattoo I had gotten outside a shop. My fiancé recommended this shop to me because it is where he gets all of his work done. Matt did a great job on a small tattoo but one with A LOT meaning . I had gotten it over 10 years ago and it desperately needed to be redone. It looks SO good. This was very first experience getting a tattoo. I worked with Nik and told him my design. He communicated with me to ensure I got exactly what I wanted and was open to suggestions :0) Nik did an amazing job! I chose him for his realism and the plaid in the background on my tattoo - is awesome! The color and detail he created was very impressive. I found it odd that my tattoo was not wrapped before leaving. This was my very first tattoo. I communicated with him and he was open and helpful to answer questions regarding aftercare and the process. His artistry is awesome.At the time I was there (May 4) the shops site had misinformation regarding aftercare on their website, I was glad I brought it up before leaving as I has already purchased sauve to use and was told it was incorrect and not to use it on my tattoo. The shop needs to ensure this information is correct and spend a bit of time after tattooing to review so clients understand and ready for what comes next.I would recommend Nik as he does care about his are and clients. He has been very responsive to my questions and my tattoo looks amazing.

Alex is AMAZING!!! When I showed up and talked to her about a coverup tattoo I wanted on my foot, she asked me to show her some pictures of what I had in mind and then said it would take a day to draw something up. In the meantime, she was able to give me another beautiful tattoo that I had been wanting, and even touched up a couple of cancer ribbons that have faded over time. I showed up the next day for the coverup, and it turned out better than I could have imagined! She really took the time to design the perfect tattoo for me. I really appreciate her care, consideration, and amazing skills. ♥️

After wanting a tattoo for several years, but not being sure about where to go, a friend of ours recommended Mat at Chosen Art. The tattoo he had created for her was the cleanest and most detail oriented piece we had ever seen, so we knew we would need to call on Mat for our own tattoo. I reached out to him via Instagram first and then exchanged phone numbers. He was extremely responsive via text as well as through his Instagram account. We went over the details of the tattoo and location where we thought we wanted it. After meeting with Mat for our initial consultation, he gave us some suggestions as to where the tattoo might be better placed and he was right. My husband received his tattoo last night and we could not have been more impressed. Mat is extremely professional, classy and wonderful to talk to. Best tattoo experience ive had. Alex was my artist. Deff knew what i was talking about when i explained what i wanted. Very easy going and not too heavy handed. The quality of my tattoo was second to none. Would deff reccomend this place to anyone.

I walked in tonight for my first tattoo and it turned out just how I wanted it. Alex was so awesome and gave me a sense of relief for a first timer. It was very clean and a great environment.

Chosen Art tattoo is soooo dope. We came here for Friday the 13th and got tattooed by Mat ValDeez, loved it, and already came back for another. Also Tim is newly single, ready to mingle, and I was so distracted looking at his beautiful face that my tattoo was painless. Five stars for sure!
