50 Shades of Pain Tattoo and Art Studio

I got my first tattoo done here and, I’m not sure if there is a better place to go for your first tattoo. Ron did mine and he did an amazing job, he’s friendly and is super polite. Everyone there is very charismatic and seemed really passionate about working there. The price is super affordable and I would strongly urge people to go here.

Got my tattoo at 50 shades of pain. probably the worst tattoo that i have on my body, lines aren’t even straight, it’s supposed to be a memorial tattoo and i don’t even want to show it off. took multiple smoke breaks during the tattoo, definitely won’t be going back there. and i paid $140 for this. not worth your time!

Ron did an amazing job on mine and my friends tattoos. Clean lines, great color, personable, and professional. Definitely going to get more from him.

This place is awesome they got me in even tho they had appointments two weeks out they help me and were very respectful and were just amazing couldn’t ask for anything else go to these guys they were the bomb

This place is by far the best tattoo shop I have ever been into! As I walk into the door I was greeted right away. Ron and i sat down and talked about what I wanted to do with a older very basic sleeve. 4 hours later with a “break of course” I was amazed at how fast he was with dark line work and beautiful shading to bat. He completely changed what my old sleeve looked like and in half the time as before! I’m blown away with the results of my tattoo and I have gone back 3 times already! What more can I say there great people with amazing art and a relaxing environment. I definitely recommend anyone who wants a tattoo to visit and chat with one of the employees there. Anyone of them are a great choice! Thanks for your all your hard work 50 shades of pain !!!

I recently visited 50 Shades of Pain in Grand Junction to discuss a tattoo idea with Travis. I paid a $50 deposit and set an appointment date. However, my experience took an unfortunate turn. Travis mentioned he would send a design for my approval, but as the appointment date approached, I had not received any artwork from him, nor did I receive a call or text explaining the delay.I reached out to the shop to ask about the situation and get a refund. To my surprise, Travis answered the phone, and instead of addressing the issue professionally, he stated that he had gotten busy. There was no apology or offer to rectify the situation. When I politely requested a refund, Travis informed me that the deposit was non-refundable.I must express my disappointment with the way Travis handled the situation. His initial rudeness during our phone conversation was unprofessional and not in line with the conduct one would expect from a tattoo artist.I am willing to remove this Google review if the establishment owner can kindly arrange for the return of my $50 deposit.

I had a very bad experience at another tattoo shop (calamity Jane) and I spent almost my whole vacation on an appointment that never came to fruition. I called Ron and told him about it and he told me he would make take care of me from design to finished peice. I didn’t feel like I was being a nuisance when I was explaining what I wanted. He even made it bigger than the original piece and matched the quote from the other shop. Very laid back. Very professional. And NOT arrogant. You won’t feel like you’re begging for a tattoo if you go here. I was about to give up on getting a tattoo before I talked to Ron. I should have came here first but hey you live and you learn

Got a tattoo cover up on my hand a few years back and the artist talked me into into color after I specified I didnt want any and I proceeded to get an infection immediately after i left the shop. My hand got hot and feverish and I lost about %50 of the color i never asked for in the first place

This is the only place I go for all of my tattoos the guys are amazing and the work that I have gotten done by Ron I love it and have had somany people complement on it and the environment in there its great the guys are like family

It has been a long time since I got my last tattoo. After talking with Travis, I decided it was time for another one. The shop is clean, the work is professional and I am looking forward to my next one.

Got mine done by Chris, and it was a great first professional experience :) he didnt make it awkward or tense, and has a light hand so even on the most tender part of my arm wasnt too painful, honestly the healing is worse lolThe photo is from the day after

Phenomenal shop, great atmosphere and all around always a good time. Ive had a variety of peices done here specifically by Alberto Leyva and I ALWAYS leave happy. My husband has gotten tattoos here done by Chris Mazon and he also does fantastic work. I will never use another shop here in town. DO YOUR BUSINESS HERE! YOU WONT REGRET IT!!!

Id love to give these guys a good review but thats hard. I wouldnt get pierced here. I dont really trust it but people do so if thats what ya need go for it.As for the artists its a toss up. Ive received three of my tattoos here. Two came out beautiful and perfect and the other was messed up pretty brutal. I dont love their sense of business(which is almost non existent). After making an appointment and setting up my next session the artist I was working with refused to get back to me, kept making up excuses, but then would post on social media he was available for tattooing for food or some stupid stuff. I wont return but I wont say you cant get a good tattoo here because you can but it isnt worth the trouble anymore.

Ive allways wanted must nose pierced but due to having a severe anxiety disorder had never gone and got it done. Chris Mazon was super nice and helpful, very understanding. He allowed me to lay down during the piercing for my comfort and got me in and out SUPER FAST! I love my piercing, the experience was great. Absolutely reccomend

I visited town because my father passed, and I wanted a tattoo to memorialize him. They didnt hesitate to squeeze me in before I had to leave town. Tiny was great, I love my tattoo. Ill be back in June guys, be ready!

Got my tongue pierced there a week ago by Chris. Experience was great, I was nervous but he said itd be quick and it wouldnt hurt much which helped me go through with it honestly. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that wants their tongue pierced.

Dawn is an absolute gem and excellent at what she does. If youre looking for someone who knows what shes talking about and can advise you about ideas for a potential tattoo, shes the one to work with! I got my first tattoo here and the atmosphere is relaxed and professional.

I travel for work and try to get a tattoo in every state. I let the tattoo artist pick it too.They were very accommodating and got me in last minute. Mike did great work and was awesome to deal with.

Tiny did amazing feathers my daughter and granddaughter. He used my husbands cremains in the ink. So thoughtful and beautiful works of art. He also used my husbands EKG and mine together you creat my tattoo.. They are located off of North avenue in front of Walmart shopping plaza in Grand Junction

I big thank you to Carlito, and the hospitality over at 50 shades of pain! He rocks! He has a very light hand, was clean and efficient. He gave me the least painful tattoo out of all 6 I have. Considering its the only tattoo I have gotten after Ive been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, I think that says a lot! It healed fast, didnt scar or bleed, and the art work and placement was perfect! Just what I wanted. Highly recommend this place and see Carlito.
