I cannot brag on this shop enough!! Salty Siren is an adorable little shop with a colorful and welcoming vibe from the minute you arrive to when youre heading out. Anna is simply incredible. She was so good to stay in communication and was so polite about changes i had asked for in the design. Anna is soft spoken in person, professional and a delight to work with. Whether its your first tattoo or your tenth - this shop and its talented, creative group of artists wont disappoint!!

I had two appointments with Ashley in June, and all I can say is WOW! I told her I wanted flowers and where I wanted them, and then I told her she could do whatever she wanted with them. Ashley is super nice and does amazing work! She pays exquisite attention to detail. The shop is very clean and everyone was very friendly. Cant wait for my next appointment with Ashley in December!

Ive been here several times and will keep going back. Anna is awesome, talented, and values my input. The studio is clean and comfortable. Ive recommended to many people!

I love it at the Salty Siren. The vibes are great, the artists are all so nice and talented. I started seeing Lenny a few years ago and I cant imagine seeing anyone else for my tattoo work but all the artists are so talented. The place is clean and well-decorated, easy to find and has a small parking lot and a building with ample parking across the street.

Salty Siren is an awesome place to get work done. I have had Anna tattoo me multiple times, and need to get back in there. She is a true professional and I love the work she does.

I’ve been wanting to check this place out for years and I’m so happy that I finally did! The vibes are immaculate, the place is incredibly clean, and all the artist are so helpful. At other shops, I’ve had experiences where i’ve been nervous to ask questions or ask for placement adjustments prior to getting a tattoo, but that’s not the case at Salty Siren, I felt so comfortable to ask anything about the process! Danielle was the artist that did my tattoo, and I can’t thank her enough! The work she put in to creating the stencil/finished product was above and beyond truly. She really captured the classic snoopy comics vibes on my arm. This piece means a lot to me, I’m so thankful to have gotten it done here. I’m absolutely a loyal customer now 😄🤘🏻

I was encouraged to drive the 45ins to discuss getting work done only to find out that every single artist in the building was fully booked out for over three months?? Is this the busiest shop in the Indiana? It was the weirdest experience. It didnt feel like I was in a World renowned shop, but hey I put my name down and now Im on the list for long winters nap I guess....hope I get my moneys worth. But maybe not keeping my keeping that appointment though..who would! the ICE DOWN PERIOD is crazy

I have gone to Salty Siren Tattoo Lounge for my last 3 tattoos!! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The shop is extremely clean and sanitary! Anna has done absolutely amazing job with my tattoos. These are my most recent! I freaking love them!!!

Ok, maybe he should take a hot shower, because this wanna be food critic doesnt even know what ice cream is good. Wheres the spumoni? I hear Mr. Hottaker was even encouraged to list spumoni on his board, top 5, BUT no, he couldnt be bothered. I didnt see mint chocolate or cookies and cream. To not list Cherry Garcia is a criminal act and he needs to be disciplined. I think instead of recreational critic, he needs to focus on real issues, like who drives the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile?

The Salty Siren was recommended to me by a friend who went there. My friend was tattooed by the owner, and I worked with Lesley. The Salty Siren is woman-owned, which was a plus for me. I cant say enough good things about my experience there...its very clean, and the staff is friendly and experienced. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Lesley, and will definitely be going back when Im ready for my next piece. Im already recommending The Salty Siren to others.

I have gotten two previous tattoos from Lenny and have loved each one. This last time, for my third one, I sent no pics for inspiration, just sent her a few verbal ideas, and knew I appreciated her artistic style, so wanted her to design. I absolutely love what she came up with. The appointment was smooth, she is gentle and spectacular at what she does.

Lesley has been working on my Victorian sleeve since November and I couldn’t be more thrilled with her. I have put a lot of thought into what I wanted my sleeve to represent and I feel she has brought to life what I envisioned beautifully. She is super easy to communicate my ideas with, has a great eye for detail and a mindfulness of the over all experience. She makes the process as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. After a long, frustrating time of trying to find the right artist as well as a little trial and error, I am extremely grateful to have found her.

I called as soon as I could to schedule a tattoo in memorial to my very recently deceased grandmother. It was my very first tattoo, and I was quite nervous. It was really quite last minute, and I was a long drive away at that time, but they got back to me very quickly & were willing to push the appointment back as much as they needed to til I got there.I was booked immediately, and they were flexible with the timing as I warned them I would be about an hour drive.When I got there, I was seen quickly by a welcoming and accomodating staff.I was scheduled with Demi Johnson who quickly, but carefully worked on the design with me.She was very friendly and comforting to me during a hard time in my life. It felt very personable and memorable and I very quickly knew I had come to the right place.I was very impressed by the quality of her work, and how careful she was to get it perfect, to understand my desires for the tattoo, and to keep me comfortable during what could have otherwise been a very uncomfortable and stressful experience for me. The environment was very calming and felt very safe — the numbing stuff she used really did the trick as well, as I remember being surprised thinking I could take a nap while she was doing it, I was so comfortable. Me, and my friends who came to support me, all left in very high spirits, my friends even talking about returning to have work done on themselves.My family is also very relieved and impressed to see how clean, yet even her work is. I have experienced no bleeding so far (that I’ve noticed,) and it isn’t puffy, red, or sore at all despite it being so fresh.Thank you all, for your amazing work! I’ll definitely be back and I’ll be reccommending the place to all my friends!

Finding a tattoo shop that I felt comfortable in was a challenge until I found Salty Siren. The whole crew is very welcoming and friendly. I especially love working with Danielle! I’ve gotten two tattoos with her and my experience has been spectacular! She does an incredible job turning my loose ideas into beautiful pieces. She’s detail oriented and is a very talented artist. I can always trust her to come up with something that I love! I can’t recommend Salty Siren enough.

I have five tattoos from five different studios. My sixth will be back here at Salty Siren! I scheduled my session a couple of weeks in advance but they also accept walk-ins depending on availability. It was clean, welcoming, and well-lit and the artist, Anna, was very friendly and professional. My tattoo was rather simple but I was impressed and pleased with how quickly Anna worked. It is also healing extremely well - testament to Anna’s skill! I highly recommend Salty Siren and I can’t wait to go back.

Today, I got my first tattoo. I worked with Danielle and I could not be more happy with the results. I wanted something small and simple-ish - just a semicolon with some blues and greens around it. Danielle made sure I was happy with the size and placement before she even began. I am not a creative person, so I allowed her artistic creativity as far as the color goes. She did a fantastic job! I didnt know what to expect during the process and at one point I needed to take a breather. She was very cool and professional about that break that I needed. She was very accomodating and we were able to finish the piece today. I would 100% recommend Danielle to anyone who is looking for a tattoo!! I definetely would work with Danielle again!

I got tattooed by Lenny a few months ago and was so impressed! Most tattoo shops Ive been in are very male dominated and set me a bit on edge but the atmosphere here was amazing. I felt really safe and comfortable and relaxed while I was there.From the very first email I felt like everyone I talked to cared about getting me the tattoo I wanted. I was kept up-to-date on everything and they answered all of my questions (no matter how dumb lol).And all of that is not even mentioning the fact that the art is top notch. Definitely worth the wait to get a time slot.10/10, would definitely recommend (and I have!). I cant wait to come back for another tattoo :)

Since last August I have gone here twice for tattoos, and have had a wonderful experience both times! Danielle tattooed me the first time I went. The tattoo she came up with based on my wants makes me love showing off my larger upper arm, which I was not always proud of before her work was there to display. My second tattoo was by Demi, recommended to be by Danielle, and it was a matching piece with my cousin. When we had an unforseen issue both Demi and Lenny discreetly jumped in to help and made sure that we were good and nothing was awkward for us. We were able to get our tattoos and both of us are so happy with how they turned out. I have and will recommend this shop to anyone who will listen! Thank you, Lenny, for cultivating a lovely welcoming shop and hiring some awesome artists.

After researching various tattoo shops/artists in the area for years I finally decided on booking an appointment with Lenny and boy am I glad I did! She is incredibly professional and super attentive to what youre looking for in a tattoo. I left the shop completely satisfied with my first tattoo! She books out pretty far in advance because she is just that talented but trust me it is 100% worth the wait!! Ill definitely be back into see her as soon as I can.

I had a spine tattoo done by Lenny and it turned out amazing! She does amazing line work and did a beautiful job coloring it in. Everything is very clean and proper hygienic practices were used throughout the entire process. Everyone there is very kind and professional. Highly recommend!

When looking up the best places to get a tattoo in Indy, Salty Siren is one of the first places that shows up. I started doing my research on which artist I wanted to complete my tattoo and was pleasantly surprised to see they are female owned. I looked at Ashley Lambertz’s work and wanted to have her complete my cover up. I sent her an email and her assistant got back to me quickly with all the information I needed to know. Ashley had about a four month wait list so once I sent my deposit in- I got my date scheduled. Once it got to my tattoo date, I arrived and Ashley worked with me on the sizing of the tattoo and we got started. Ashley took my ideas and made them beautiful! She was very friendly and helpful. The lounge was clean and cute with all its decorations. She gave great after care instructions and let me know I can get a free touch up when needed. My tattoo has healed beautifully after a month since I’ve gotten it! The whole experience just makes me want to get another tattoo soon!

They were awesome! I believe he went by the name of Turtle who did my piercings- and he was awesome. He was so friendly and funny. He explained everything he was doing and made sure I was okay through out the entire process. And they are very reasonably priced. Plus their building is super fun and welcoming. Even the staff who wasnt working directly with me chatted and made me feel welcomed. I definitely will be coming back if I need anything more

I went there as a walk in yet also was reasonable and told them it didn’t have to be that day. Due to the fact it is a very small poorly done initials on my ankle. The lady took a picture of it and asked if I lived close by. She said she would text me when she got done playing around with it. And figuring out what she could draw up for me.She asked if I was free that day because she had nothing booked and her afternoon was free.After hours of hearing both I text the number she gave me.She wrote back sorry I took a small walk in before my afternoon appointment.and then said I would need to get with another artist there.Um I was your walk in. I was flexible.To be wrote off. And treated like the shop didn’t even need my service was really unprofessional.If she didn’t feel she had the capability to do that tattoo.All she had to do was call or send a text saying she didn’t think she could but schedule me with another artist.Demi, please be more professional in the future.I have spent months saving for this.And I had even saved enough for a $100 tip.

I’ve waited far too long to leave a review for my fantastic experience at Salty Siren. I got a side piece added to an existing tattoo in May of this year.Lenny was my artist. I came in with a basic idea of what I wanted and she ran with it. I was so impressed at her artistic talent and ability. The studio is very approachable for all types of people and I felt very comfortable there. Highly recommend.

I got a sternum tattoo from Ashley. She did beautiful work and she was easy to talk to! Everyone in the shop seemed nice and the shop itself was clean. They take a lot of measures to ensure they are being as safe as possible. I can definitely recommend booking with Ashley. I had to book out about 4 months but it was 110% worth it! My tattoo looks amazing!

I got my nostril pierced today by Turtle. He made sure I was comfortable and walked through every step so that I understood everything that was gonna happen. He is very personable and has great conversation while he’s working with you. I tend to get light headed after shots so I was a little nervous that I would with getting my nose pierced too, but he made me so comfortable and allowed me to take my time and lay down if I felt light headed at all. I will absolutely be going back to him for any future piercings and I would recommend him to anyone else. Absolutely no complaints.

Lenny is an AMAZING artist! She has done a cover-up for my wife, and two more pieces besides. I just had my first tattoo with her (but my 5th total), and she is by FAR the best Ive ever had do work for me. She runs a clean, welcoming, comfortable shop, and everyone is fantastic. I first met Lenny many years ago before she opened The Salty Siren, and the first time she tattooed me, I knew she was my girl. I haven’t gone to anyone else since! She cares so much about making the experience one to remember, as well as making your exact vision come to life. I’ve literally gotten tattoos where I’ve just given her an idea and let her go with it, because her artistry is that good. I went from being just a client to her friend, because that’s just who she is. The shop has such a fun/chill vibe, it’s just like hanging out with friends. Everyone is so welcoming and it’s so clean with such bright energy! I’ve said this for years and continue to say I’ll not go to anyone else. Having an artist who treats you like a friend from the get-go is so rare. HIGHLY recommend! When ya know, ya know!

There aren’t enough nice things about this place and the staff. I have been a repeat customer of Andrew’s, and I hope to add more tattoos with him. The way he collaborated with me on pieces is incredible. It’s like he’s in my mind of what I want visually. the conversations we have during sessions are nice and not awkward like I’ve seen in others. I truly recommend him and this shop to anyone looking for new ink. Great job, great service, great atmosphere and a very satisfied customer!

I want to give a 5 star review based solely on the actual work done on my arm because it is SO beautiful and I absolutely LOVE it, but I have been trying to get a follow up appointment for the past year to continue working on it. I’ve tried for a long time to give the benefit of the doubt and give it a chance but I just cannot get a response from anybody that I’ve reached out to. I was told by Lenny that ongoing pieces take priority in scheduling, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. I texted her “scheduling assistant” multiple times and never did get on the schedule even with them saying they would get back to me every time. So eventually I reached out to Lenny directly (again) and still haven’t heard anything. It seems like it’s impossible to even get ahold of anybody to schedule anything at all. I would love for her to complete the piece on my arm because she’s so talented, but the scheduling is an absolute nightmare. It would be one thing if I was told how long I had to wait, but I can’t even get a response from anybody.*EDIT*Just wanted to update my review and mention that Lenny did reach out to me after I posted this and got me on her schedule right away. I really appreciated hearing back, receiving an apology, and having her offer to make up for it.

This shop ran by professional artists who make you feel welcomed. The shop is immensely clean. Tracy was my artist & his attention to detail is second to none! He must’ve checked his work 100x making sure each tiniest mark was done properly. Definitely recommend, 10/10!

Last night I went in a little nervous to get my second tattoo. I was helped by Ryan and it was such a great experience. I felt comfortable and as I was very well respected. It was a very professional experience and I would definitely recommend going to the Salty Siren. I appreciate the face that it wasn’t all jokes and laughing but just somewhere that I felt like I was being well taken care of. Thank you for doing such a great job!!!

Lenny did a tattoo I drew for my boyfriend. It was a plane with a detailed scene on the inside. She nailed it and made it look even better than I could have imagined. Also, she was kind, professional, and very inviting. Calming music, and clean atmosphere. The best part, fair price!

Turtle took the time to explain how he would do the piercing and asked if I had any questions. He then explained after care and asked if I had any questions. I would recommend him if you want someone is reliable, knowledgeable, and funny. My experience was good and I cant wait until I get pierced again.

Salty Siren has a great online presence. I was able to look through examples of everyone’s work and it was all beautiful. I contacted the general shop and asked if anyone was interested in working with me. I was put in contact with Mr. Gummer. The shop was clean and inviting. My interactions with every person working there was pleasant. I wanted to get a memorial piece for my dog. I talked with Andrew about what I wanted and he was receptive. When I showed up for the actual session, he had taken the poor basic concept I provided, and turned it in to something beautiful. Definitely fitting for my best friend of 12 years, and I couldn’t be happier. I only have one problem. I can’t stop thinking about what I want to have done next.

This is hands down the best tattoo shop I have been to since I have been getting tattoos done. Andrew Gummer is amazing and will work to get you whatever design you want. Super cool atmosphere and the prices are beyond good. Right now I am working on a huge Marvel arm piece and Andrew has a sweet design and more ideas in mind to make my arm pop with color and designs. I will continue to go to this tattoo parlor from here out for all of my tattoo needs.

Anna was amazing, came in Saturday and got my first tattoo. She was very professional, and knew what she was doing. Everyone is every easy to talk to, and kind. I’m definitely going to come back in the future!

We had my daughters ears pierced here. Ask for the man named Turtle. Hes very good with kids. Make sure you take a birth certificate with you for kids. The place was spotless and the tools were surgical quality. Never go to a boutique for a piercing.

I drove over 2 1/2 hours to go see Turtle the piercer to get my lip pierced and I would drive twice that to see him. He was informative and professional while still friendly and able to put you at ease. I HIGHLY recommend him.

Best place to get a tattoo in the area, definitely. Ive had tattoos in 3 different states from 8 different shops, and this is by far my favorite. Great atmosphere and the artists here are all very talented and professional. This is the only place in Indiana Ill get a tattoo. Thanks Andrew!

Came here for my first tattoo in remembrance of my sister, who passed away suddenly. Ms. Ashley happened to have about 30 minutes until her next client and offered to do it then and there! Although I was super nervous and emotional, she was amazing. The place looks like something out of a beauty magazine! So cute and girly!! Voted #1 thanks to Nuvo, and I completely understand why!!!!

Artist Anna Marie Miller did 3 tattoos in one setting one of which on my wrist faded a lot within 5 days. I went back within 10 days n asked for a retouch, she couldn’t get me in until 3/20. I had them done around 2/23. The retouch would take 15mins tells me I can’t cancel other appts to get u in sooner. Rude. I should b a priority cuz I’ve already paid n your work has faded, u should’ve done better! I followed all after care! Then I go in today to get a refund on a deposit for another tattoo cuz I’m not having her do nothing else and she tells me she’s moving to broad ripple. Now I have to drive from deep greenwood all the way out there cuz she couldn’t fit me in any sooner which I find hard to believe. I’m just not of priority. Rude. Bad service. Never again! I also asked if anyone else could do a retouch at this location. She said it’s a $60 minimum smh never again

I’m literally going to keep going here until I move. Zach can take anything I give him and turn it into something beautiful. I’m absolutely in love with every tattoo I’ve gotten from him and I 100% intend to go back. I highly recommend this place, especially for people who are super nervous about getting a tattoo.

Turtle is THE master of piercings. I will go to no one else. I had a bad piercing corrected. He was up for the challenge and totally killed it! My piercing is absolutely perfect now. Ill never be able to thank him enough. 😊

Disappointing, and a Ominous feeling Atmosphere , very poor communication, to get a appointment ( 3 months) on a call back confirmation to do a four letter finger tattoo. Tattooed horribly…still “waiting a second” . Do not recommend.

Mary did my tattoo. She had great suggestions for the design and incorporated all the elements that I wanted. She has a light touch with the gun and is very precise. The studio has a fun and friendly vibe.
