Was on my bachelorette trip and we decided to get last minute tattoos. They were so quick to fit us in, funny and caring, and just great people who love what they do! They did small tattoos on all 8 of us, and we are so happy we found this place! Highly recommend!

Its been a very long time since Ive been in the chair.. but I am so in love. Jim made exactly what I wanted come to life for a beautiful memorial in honor of my Aunt. He was able use her handwriting, incorporate her favorite color 💜 and animal 🦒.

I got a great tattoo. Very happy with the new place. The new shop is great and Jim is awesome. Great work at a great price!!!

My friend and I got walk in, matching tattoos here, Guy was my artist and he did an amazing job. The tattoo I asked for was small and simple. Guy was very attentive to detail. He used a head lamp and took his time to make sure it was precise. Guy was super sweet, friendly and personable. He knows what he’s doing and he shows that he really cares about you and your tattoo. Great experience, great staff, great price, great work.

Great shop and great service! My friend and I got matching tattoos done by Jim. He was able to squeeze us in today even though it’s the holiday weekend! We love the tattoos and they have great detail. We also appreciate the friendly atmosphere there!

I went today to get my first tattoo of a band logo on my forearm. jim did my tattoo, and he was very nice about it. he talked to me and my friend who came with. very entertaining with the music and the jokes he’d crack every now and again. i definitely plan on going back there for my future tattoos. jim did a great job and made my first tattoo experience a memorable one.

Would 100% recommend. My friend and I were tattooed by Guy. Great experience. Very professional, nice, and genuine. Most tattoo artists I’ve been to have never been friendly/kind and he was. I felt very comfortable. I got 2 smaller tattoos for $80 which I find a reasonable price. I got a sun on my wrist and a few stars on my ankle. He also has great taste in music! Will be back.

Had to have my tattoo redone completely because the chick over worked my arm and all the ink fell out. I will never recommend this business. I have many tattoos and this is the only place who really did a horrific job. 10/10 do not Recommend

It was my birthday and I called last minute expecting to be told there were no openings. To my surprise Guy answered and was very professional and got me in right away. He helped me with placement and sizing, wanting to make sure I got the most out of his work and was happy. He didnt hesitate when I asked for 2 in one day (wanting to treat myself). I am in love with both pieces, and the lines are VERY clean. We had some great conversation and he made sure I was doing okay the whole time. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend Guy. 👌

Shout out to Guy! Who went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable, safe and sanitary experience. His professionalism and inputs on my design left me leaving the shop with a better looking piece than I ever imagined. Fairly priced, good quality, great music, awesome people-10/10 would recommend Sublime Ink.

Today January 9, 2021 I called and spoke with a gentleman by the name Guy. I explained it was my 1st Tattoo and wanted to see if I could get it done today. With no hesitation he scheduled my appointment. I got there and was greeted immediately. The shop was very clean and welcoming. During this experience we talked so much that the time flew right by and all my worries went right out the window. I would highly recommend him. Very pleased with my tattoo and I’ll definitely be returning for more ink. Thank you!!!

As a female with trust issues finding someone I trust is really hard, never mind for a tattoo. I have four tattoos total from sublime (all different artists) and I am in complete love with all of them!! Today, I got to experience getting a piece done by Guy Ammeem. Honestly it was my best experience at sublime ink. Not only did my tattoo come out phenomenal, but I felt like I was getting a tattoo done by a best friend.Guy kept a professional but cool environment to the point I forgot I was even getting ink work done. I highly recommend seeing him as an artist. I promise you won’t regret it :)

I had the tattoo artist Guy! He was awesome and was good vibes the whole time. He did my first traditional tattoo piece and it came out beautiful. So worth it, definitely coming back to him and getting more!

Me and husband visiting for weekend from Sandy Hook and decided to get tattoo while up there, came here, very honest bout doing certain tattoos on certain spots which I appreciated greatly, turned terrible tattoo to something I am very proud of and was shocked at how amazing it was and work was to the T precise. We will be going back very soon. Josh was the one, fabulous and husband very happy and pleased with work and how it came out!!! Hes the best. Sublime ink mystics best!

Guy is one of my favorite people in the entire world. I consider him my tattoo artist sulfate. He has a huge heart, and thats sometimes hard to find in the tattoo artist world. Hes done at least 20 of my tattoos and I would follow him anywhere. I trust his expertise and advice undoubtedly. I got my hand tattooed today, and it was nice to be back in the chair again like pre-covid.

I personally have been coming to sublime ink since I was 16 I am now 20 and have had 5 of my tattoos done here. I love the way each one turned out. and every time I go in I respect how clean the workspace is and how they greet everybody and treat everybody with such respect. each and every person here works to give you exactly what you want as a tattoo and you wont ever leave displeased. thank you everybody at sublime you rock!!!!!

I got a tattoo done by Pete about a month ago. Its the Star Wars Rebel Alliance symbol on my upper right arm. I figured its a pretty basic symbol...should be easy enough...cant really screw that up, right? Wrong. While its not HORRIBLE, it is pretty bad. The inside color (blue) is streaky and uneven, and one side of the black outline is thicker than the other. He said to come back in and hed fix it, but Im afraid hell make it worse, so Im going elsewhere. I went today to Spirit Tattoo in New London with a photo of how I want it fixed, and when I showed my current tattoo to him, his first words were Oh my God honey, who did that to you?? Its awful!. When I told him Sublime Tattoo he said, Let me guess, Pete. Theyve had to fix his work before. While everyone at Sublime is very nice and very easy to talk to, nice doesnt cut it when it comes to permanent ink. I say look around, ESPECIALLY if youre getting anything major. Mine is pretty small, and an easy fix, but I definitely wouldnt trust this place with anything major.

Josh Lemay is a phenomenal artist who has done my whole right sleeve, as well as the back of my head & various other tattoos. Super steady hand, along with the correct know how to tackle any tattoo a client would want. Very professional shop, super cleanly & sterile. Would recommend & will be going back time & time again.

The place was very welcoming and super easy to work with. The artist who did my piece was Guy and he was awesome did a great job. Overall had a great time and would highly recommend Sublime ink and Guy.

Guy did my tattoo. I’m nervous Everytime I get a tattoo especially this being my first tattoo with him. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience he made me feel 100% comfortable. He’s very patient and funny I love my tattoo !

In total I have 6 tattoos, three of them were not done by Sublime, two of which I wish I hadnt gotten done until I was introduced to Sublime. I also now have three tattoos from Sublime Ink in Groton CT and I adore all of them. The first piece that I had done there was a memorial piece for my cousin who had passed. I went in with a rough idea of what I wanted but no idea how to put it on paper, the guys in the shop went above and beyond to help me put together a beautiful memorial tattoo for my cousin, it came out amazingly and I absolutely love having it on me. I went back twice so far for more ink and thus far all of my tattoos from this shop have come out phenomenal and exactly how I wanted it, if not better! Ive seen art from all of the artists in the shop, Jim, Matt, Guy, and Pete, and each one does beautiful work and I honestly can not wait to get more art put on me from this shop and continue to recommend everyone that I know to this wonderful tattoo parlor for all their ink therapy and piercing needs.

One great thing about being stationed in Groton, CT is that it is home to one of the best tattoo shops in the galaxy. Sublime Ink is just not any tattoo shop, the tattoo artist are the best Ive ever seen. I have gotten 4 tattoos in the past 2 months from Sublime done by Guy and Pete and they came out better then i expected and I plan on getting many more. Hands down my favorite artist is Guy. His ideas are amazing and he puts his own spin on regular tattoos and makes them badass. I highly encourage anyone in the area to go to Sublime because they do amazing work and they treat you like family, not just someone looking for a tattoo. Also military gets amazing deals on tattoos because they are proud to serve those who serve. As a member of the USN I can say that Sublime is the best tattoo shop Ive ever been to across the nation. Absolutely worth it.

Ive been here before and got a tattoo done by a guy named Chris. Hes no longer there but the experience was a good one so I stopped in recently to get estimate on a piece I wanted. This visit left much to be desired. The guy I spoke didnt offer a portfolio, I wasnt able to pick the artist I wanted, and he was kind of a miserable person in general. Needless to say, I was not impressed and decided that Sublime isnt what it used to be. I ended up going to Dead City Ink instead.

I have over 40 tattoos, and most of them from Sublime ink, and I have to tell you, I am happy with all of them. I have four from other shops, and only two am I happy with. You can draw your own conclusions from that. As an aside, I would like to respond to the review below from Mercedes. I was around when she was in the shop, and I have two important points to make. One, if you are unhappy with a tattoo, then WHY would you come back the next day for another one. Two, if you are getting a tattoo, you should not, squirm, cry and especially MOVE if you are getting one. Its very hard to tattoo a moving subject. At the end of the day, if you are unhappy with your tattoo, maybe you should look in the mirror. Enough about that. I have been tattooed by Pete, Matt, Chris, Josh, Guy and Jim, and am pleased by them ALL.

The girl who did my tat took forever (my bf got the same tat and the guy who did his took maybe 30-40 min whereas the girl doing mine took over 2 hours) and there was a lot of fallout once I was healed. They were friendly and super chill vibe but I’m not super impressed by the quality.

I follow my guy everywhere he goes.... Guy as always makes me feel so comfortable. Not only is his work amazing, he gives me what I want and sees my vision. The shop is super chill and very clean..... I will be back ☺️

Justin was extremely chill and let me take my time deciding on placement. My little tattoo came out so good and I couldnt be happier with him and sublime. Definitely coming back in the future.

I have gone to Sublime Ink and work with Guy. Guy recently did a portrait of my pet who passed away several years ago. Ive always wanted to get a portrait done of him to carry a reminder of him with me every day, but have been hesitant because I wasnt sure who could do the work I was looking for. Well Guy did not let me down. Guy is upfront with people and will tell you what he can and cannot do. Guy looked me straight in the eye and said he would gladly do the portrait and would not let me down knowing how important this was to me. And Guy was true to his word. He even has a few ideas to add to it to make it stand out even more. So when you go in to Sublime Ink, ask for Guy.

Do not go here!! A friend of mine had a TERRIBLE experience with one of the employees , Jim. Very inappropriate, & made a comment about how women can’t be independent. Not to mention the terrible tattoo he gave her. -10/10 would never recommend.

This was my very first tattoo. I was nervous but Guy was excellent. He really helped me relax and drew me a tattoo exactly what I wanted. Can’t wait for my next one !

Sublime is awesome, All the Guys (including Guy) are hilarious, professional, and talented. Jim is super cool just wish he would use his nice smile more.

I visited for the Friday the 13th tattoo special for a small tattoo and had the pleasure of being tattooed by Taylor. She was professional, did great work, and went out of her way to be as accomadating as possible. I will be returning based on my experience that day to get a larger piece in the future.

I go here for most of my tattoos. Great artists, very friendly, and a great atmosphere. Had 1 bad experience here, talked to the manager, and got everything fixed. I love Sublime

Called to ask if they remove dermals the person that answered the wasn’t sure and the person that would do it wasn’t there I asked when he would be there and again the guy wasn’t sure because the piercer keeps their own schedule that’s a great way to run a business
