Great place, great location, great atmosphere. I went to this place to get my tattoo. It was very clean and had a very chill vibe. All of the tattoo artists have a very respectful attitude and are very professional. Theron Cross is my guy.

Absolutely amazing art here. The artist, Jensen, has a gentle steady hand so the entire process was quite pleasant.The shop has an open space vibe in the back where you can see most of the artist working. Thats really cool but Im not sure if they have screens or a private room so someone can get a tattoo in a relieving spot.

Rah gave me a tattoo and he did an amazing job. He’s hella chill and knows what he’s doing. He did an amazing job with shading in the tattoo as well with the design. He also tattooed my mother and two brothers, doing a stunning job on them too. The people in the shop were also very welcoming. I loved and enjoyed the vibes of the shop and the people. 10/10 would recommend the shop and Rah!

I read reviews on this place, and they all said they received great tattoos... but what made me stop in was that all the reviews also said customer service and attitudes were good. So I decided to stop in. Customer service upon entering and talking about what I wanted was normal. When you get in the back to be tattooed, that’s when I fell in love with this place. The artists and customers being tattooed all talked and laughed and picked on each other. It was awesome! Been to many tattoo shops and always got great tattoos, but it was always a straight up tattoo transaction. Never have I had everyone talking and laughing. That was better than my tattoo. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience! The owner/artist Rah is simply the best, period. His professionalism, care, passion and craftsmanship are unrivaled. The shop atmosphere and energy is phenomenal. From the moment I walked in until the time I left, I felt as if I were among family. All of the artist are so welcoming and friendly. I loved the vibe and enjoyed every aspect of my visit. Matriarch Gallery is so much fun! I highly recommend them--you wont regret it!

If you are looking for a new tattoo shop with great atmosphere, excellent customer service, the best tattoo artists, go to Matriarch. I got my first tattoo at the age of 50. Rah took the time to respond to my messages, emailed me back in a timely manner and made me feel so comfortable. He asked about my fur baby (my tattoo was my Golden Retriever paw print, she past away in Aug) and showed that he cars about each person and the meaning around the tattoo.His apprentices were wanting to see what he was working on. Rah was explain things to one of the apprentices that is still working on his hours. One of his other apprentices worked with my daughter on her tattoo. Jenson did an excellent job on her tattoo well. I am sure my daughter will give them a great review, but I wanted to add that their lines are on point and their ideas to add their own flare is perfect.I cant thank Rah enough for his professionalism along with his kindness. We will be back Rah!! Looking forward in getting tattoo #2!!Pics to follow once healed.

Rob was amazing! He did an amazing job on my tattoo. He is funny and entertaining and always made sure I was comfortable during the whole process. 10/10 will go to him again!

I showed up with an idea for my first tattoo and what the meaning of my first tattoo would be. The artist “G” really helped me out and explained what he was doing and how he was going to go about it. And with it being my first tattoo we came to an agreement to split the 1 session into 2 sessions. I was having conversations with my artist “G” and the other artists there just make me feel more comfortable. They are also keep your well being in mind at all times so that you stay hydrated and don’t pass out during the process. The tattoo came out fantastic on the second day and I would highly recommend Matriarch Gallery.

I met with Rah to get to work done, this establishment is very professional in every way. From making the appointment, having a consultation on the project, and being present and on time for the appointment made. The shop it’s self is clean well maintained and organized. I highly recommend going to Matriarch for any work you need.

Sammi/Cruella is an amazing tattoo artist. I get overstimulated very easily and it causes me to grow dizzy. Cruella has always accommodated me for anything through the tattoo process. Shes an artist who cares deeply for her clients while providing amazing art. I could go on and on, but I always recommend her to anyone looking for an artist. Ive never felt so comfortable with someone before. Heres some pieces shes done for me.

I made an appointment with someone via Instagram DM and paid a 50% deposit and when I arrived I realized I had been scammed by the person on Instagram, they did not work at the shop and have been scamming multiple people using this shops name. but regardless they took care of me and it was the best, everyone in the shop was awesome I love the staff they are very friendly and will make you feel comfortable. it’s clean & they do great work. Sammy (Cruella) is the best definitely recommend go see her!!

I really really enjoyed my experience at Matriarch Gallery. Friendly and professional staff and an extremely clean environment. Great vibes! I came in with a group and they ensured everyone was taken care of. My tattoo was done by Rah and I must say he exceeded my expectations. I sincerely had a great experience. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely return here for all my future tattoos.

I’ve never received anything less than beautiful work when I go here. Cruella is an amazing artist and helped with the process as it was my first time, and she did so well I came back and have gotten my second done here as well. I would go here again! I had Samantha (Cruella) as my artist and she was great. She was really in-tune to you, if you wanted to hold a conversation she would keep talking but if you did not talk, she just knew and didnt keeping initiating conversation. My tattoo came out beautiful and she gave me several different options for aftercare.

In realm of how I contacted them in the late hours of the night regarding a piece that had such a deep, significant, special meaning behind it, their response, communication and willingness to do this piece for me and build a connection with me as well as the piece I asked for is immeasurable and will truly be a memory to cherish the most important man in my life. The vibe and warm welcome of the shop and staff can’t go unnoticed! A truly unforgettable experience.

A girl I went to high school with posted these amazing pieces of art on her story, and I saw she worked here at Matriarch. I scheduled a tattoo, and sent my deposit.Of course I assumed the shop was in CT because that’s where we went to high school, but it’s in VA!!! So I called the shop, let them know I was in CT and made a mistake, and they gave me the deposit back! No issues.Great group of people who do phenomenal artwork, AND phenomenal customer service. They treat you like the person you are. Highly recommend.

Totally dope experience. Rah did my Tatoo and he is extremely creative and an expert at his craft. He made me feel totally comfortable. First tattoo I ever got that I did not see the drawing nor placement prior to completion… definitely will be a repeat customer..

Deejay is such an amazing artist. I got three tattoos by him when I went. He is very professional, and I really appreciated that before he started tattooing he had everything laid out ready to go and he opened a brand new pack of needles. As a customer that puts my mind at ease knowing that this place takes sanitation very seriously. He was very friendly, and made sure that the placement and size was where I wanted it and quick and efficient with the tattooing. Deejay knows what he is doing! His lines are so crisp, sharp and cleannnnn! woah! Go see Deejay! You will be glad you did!

The entrance was very warm. I felt very welcomed. The receptionist was very friendly and had a great attitude. My tattoo artist Jane was on time and ready as soon as I got there. My artwork was promptly updated to her iPad and already printed out. The vibe. And the music made it all the better. Very intimate space. Not a lot of people running around it was very organized and professional. I am very please with the service i received.

One of the best tattoo experience Ive ever had. Shop manager Bre was nothing but kind and inviting to me when I arrived. I had Cruella(Sonders) as my artist. Communication was stellar and she happily accommodated my vision. She came out with such a beautiful piece and eagerness to do the piece. She set me up to be as comfortable as possible during the session. Not only was she kind but she was also very personable and made the whole experience feel unique. You bet Ill be going to this shop as regular. If that also sounds amazing or to true to believe please go check them out for yourself!

I received a misspelled tattoo At one point from a artist who wasn’t trying to handle it professionally, i was then saved by one of The best cover up artist in 75 “G” who was able to bring it back to life a whole different way, he was very professional and got the job done while making sure i was laughing through the pain i left very satisfied and happy.

Scheduled my tattoo with Sammie, Cruella, and she was awesome ! Very professional , great vibes from her and the entire store, Im in the beginning of sleeve on my arm and it was just a great experience. Its really nice to have a tattoo artist you can tell who is genuinely happy to do their job and doesnt just have you in the chair to rush and move on to the next client.

I got tattooed by G and he was very professional, personal, and patient with me; especially since I had a hard time coming up with the final details of my tattoo. The manager was funny and enjoyable to be around. The shop is comfortable, clean, and I really enjoyed my experience.

The artist “G” was exceptionally professional, as I can in as a walk in after getting the runaround from multiple other shops in the surrounding area. The environment, the vibe, everything about the place was comfortable and relaxing never once did I feel uncomfortable and the artist kept a professional environment and took his time to design everything I needed, most definitely will return and recommend others.

I only trust Cruella with my tattoos, she does amazing work! The whole studio has a warm and friendly atmosphere and is super clean! Highly recommend her!!

My boyfriend and I came in here to get hand tattoos. no Vaseline was used at all to moisten the area being tattooed, after he put the gloves on he was touching his phone and other things and the area was not cleaned before hand and they didn’t wipe the tattoo down after. The tattoo was spotty half the ink is gone in the fill in parts. I have 20 tattoos and I’ve never had any experience as bad as this one. If I could give no stars I would. DO NOT GO TO DEE.

Called to see if they took walk ins after walking up to the door and trying to come inside , the person at the desk acted as if they didn’t see me so i proceeded to call then when i called I asked a simple question , if they took walk ins and the person hung up in my face . very poor customer service

Professional environment and a plethora of talent inside Matriarch Gallery. I came in with ideas for a full sleeve and Rah executed a solid game plan. I will be coming back for my next sleeve and look forward to working with Rah and his team again soon!
