I hate giving low star reviews, but i just want to spread the word to others! i came here previously to get my nipples pierced and had a great experience! my piercer even told me if i were to come back after 3 months, she would downsize them at no cost. so of course i did what a deal. however, after getting resized i was met with a total of about $55. i asked about the free downsizing, and they explained to me that due to them now having entirely new staff they could not honor the word of a previous employee. i totally understand, however, i do feel as if they could have honored the free downsize or at least offered a discount. i drove all the way from college station to get free nipple bars, when i could’ve just went somewhere in town to avoid the cost of gas/$55 :( great place! just be aware if you visit with the impression of a discount/whatever a previous employee may have offered you!!

I had an excellent experience getting my nose pierced. Everyone was very friendly. My piercer was very thorough and the process was literally a pinch and a poke, she gave me cleaning instructions and sent me on my way. The shop was very clean and the check in process was smooth and done all from my phone. I definitely will recommend to friends and return for piercings in the future.

My Friend and I went in to get a nipple piercing. I needed mine repierced from it closing years prior, and she was getting her first body piercing (excluding ears). The process was all about 15-20mins mostly because of setup. It was comfortable and Ronnie was awesome! Trust Biolab if you want to get anything pierced.

The sign clearly states “everyone is seen in the order in which they are registered on the waitlist. no exceptions.” This piercer had the audacity to serve the woman before me after I had been waiting for OVER AN HOUR. She straight up acknowledged she was skipping me and then served the person before me instead because “she would be in and out with a purchase”. I truly don’t care. I waited extra time for no reason and the policy CLEARLY STATES NO EXCEPTIONS. NEXT TIME CHANGE THE POLICY. Horrible service and staff. Will never return to this overpriced hellscape, and neither should you.

We had the best experience with getting my daughters piercings yesterday evening, by Cat. Cat was beyond helpful and knowledgeable in not only guiding my daughter to help make a selection in which jewelry she should pick out, but she also offered her expertise in why my daughter should wait to do more piercings, until the ones she really wanted to get done yesterday could heal.Safety is always their 1st main focus here and every step of the processes you know that your health is in good sterile hands. Cat also did an excellent job at making my daughter and even myself feel very relaxed and calm through the whole event. We left feeling very well educated on her new piercings and how to take care of them throughout the whole healing process.I would highly recommend going to see Cat for any of yours or your loved ones piercing needs.Total 10 out of 10 experience for us. I hardly walkaway from somewhere and feel the need to leave a review, but Cat went above and beyond for us and all of our non stop questions. That I had to come leave a review about our whole experience.

Emery is amazing! I came in tonight looking for guidance after being pierced about 4 weeks ago. I have extremely sensitive skin and over the past few days my nose has become more sore. I thought I was having a reaction to the metal but Emery educated me on nose piercings and how they should go. Long story short my initial piercing did not go as it should but Emery was there to save the day! My nose no longer feels like it’s about to pulsate off my face and I’m so thankful that I crossed paths with Emery tonight! Thank you Emery!

I had a great experience getting a nose piercing for the first time and my sister did as well as she got her lobes pierced for the second time. The piercers made us feel comfortable with the procedure and were very helpful with an explanation about aftercare. Highly recommend coming here for piercings!

Jax did an awesome job on my ear piercing! Shes a really lovely lady and fun to chat with and made me feel really comfortable. while I was chatting she finished the piercing and I didnt even know that it happened hardly! I love it and want more. Ill definitely go back to biolab to get them.

We went to Elizabeth at Biolab Piercing in hopes that she could give us advice on some recent piercings done by another piercer— which sadly, hadn’t worked out. Little did we know how much we’d love her! After some healing advice and a little time, we came back in for repiercings. Her confidence, knowledge, professionalism, and kindness were reassuring after the experience we’d had before her.My daughter has now gotten five new piercings by Elizabeth over the past few months (double lobes and a helix), I had my first in 28 years— a little mid-helix cutie, with a beautiful iridescent baguette, and we both have plans for more soon. Our first piercings were with guns instead of needles, and we’ll never go back now that we know better.We trust Elizabeth and her safety, wisdom, and experience without hesitation! She’s a master at her craft and never rushes- she only offers the best service and worked to make certain we were satisfied, educated on aftercare, and loved the results. Which we do!

Had a great experience with my piercer , Plugs! Very friendly and comfortable environment. The sign in process was so easy and I was walked through everything to expect before getting my labret done. Very clean facility, if I decide on another piercing I’m definitely coming back here.

I read the reviews and saw some of the complaints about the waitlist so I really didn’t know what to expect . I went on a Saturday and my wait was not long at all. I needed my dermal removed because it was rejecting and I didn’t get the man’s name that did it , but he was amazing . He walked me through everything he was doing while he was doing it and was very patient with me . Due to where it was at and the jewelry that was used (it was done in Chicago) , it was sorta hard to get out . It was painful but he talked me through it and sincerely seemed apologetic even though it wasn’t his fault . After he was done he showed me some of the jewelry they had and was very thorough without being pushy . I had not planned on getting pierced again but now I want another one just so he can do it 🥴. The young lady that checked me out really was a sweetie as well. I will definitely be back again !

Always get great service here! The staff is consistently very friendly, making sure to be personable and offering lots of knowledge/education on aftercare and additional treatment for any issues i’ve had come up with my nose piercings.

JC did a great job piercing my lobes last night and breaking the stretching process down barney style for me. The piercing was quick, relatively painless and JC was very attentive. He noticed I was feeling light headed before I had even said anything and took great care of me. Ive gotten my lobes and septum pierced here and had great experiences both times.

I have gotten all of my piercings and jewelry from Biolab for many years (nostril, nips, septum, jewelry purchases, etc) and I’ve always had a great experience. This is why I’ve driven 1hr (one way) to go there every time, bypassing closer places because I’ve trusted their work and I’ve always left satisfied (when Aaron and Elizabeth were there). This last time I went, it wasn’t the best experience.I went in to get a new ball for my gold plated horseshoe septum ring because mine had fallen off. After looking at my ring, I was informed by the piercer (I’d never met him before) that they no longer sold the rings with internal threading like I had. I asked if they still had gold like I have and he told me they did. So I was okay with that thinking the only thing that would be different is the threading.When I got to the back, he removed my previous ring and added the new one. I noticed it was a bit painful, which was weird because I’ve had my septum for 3 years. It was tight to me but I just let it be, trusting his judgment. He asked if he should toss my old ring out and I agreed since I didn’t have the ball anymore. I got up to leave, paid for the service, and walked outside. As soon as I got into the sun and really got a good look at my ring, it was green instead of gold.I went back in and told him about my dislike for the color. He then told me that he used a machine to make it gold instead of the gold plated jewelry I expected to be installed. When I asked if they had gold plated, he then told me they did not have any of those but he could run it through the machine again to try to get it closer. I agreed with this because I didn’t have another choice.When I got to the back to have the ring removed and reprocessed, I requested to also have a new nostril ring the same color since they were still obviously different shades of gold. He agreed and brought me a new nostril ring that had been ran through the machine as well. I noticed it was painful for him to remove and replace the septum again.He installed the new nostril ring and told me that he got me a smaller one to make it more snug to my nose, which I did not request. My old ring was purchased at Biolab as well and fit my nose perfectly as to not pull on my ring hole. However, I did like the look of the snug fit initially and I didn’t notice any pain right away, so I let it be.I ended up leaving after that. The pain with the nostril piercing didnt show until my nose flared while I was laughing later on. The smaller ring he installed started pulling down on and stretching my ring hole. I had to remove it and replace my old nostril ring. The septum ball also fell off the next day and I just didn’t have it in me to go back to Biolab and have this experience all over again.Also, I realized the reason why my septum was tight and hurting even though I’ve had my piercing for years. It’s because he installed a ring with a larger gauge size. When I put on my old silver ring that l received when I first got my initial piercing at Biolab (before it was changed out for gold at Biolab once it healed), the pain instantly went away and it was no longer tight.Now I’m left with a ring I paid for that I can’t use because the gauge is too large and the ball fell off the next day and a nostril ring that is too small. I’m also forced to have to spend additional money elsewhere to get a new septum ring because I don’t feel comfortable going back to Biolab again after this experience.He was very nice for sure but overall, this was not a good experience for me. I’ve been a loyal customer at Biolab for many years at this point and it sucks to have to find somewhere else to go now.

I had a fresh Tragus piercing that was starting to embed in my skin. The original piercer didn’t get back to me (thank god)! So I went into biolab to have them take a look thinking I just needed longer jewelry to accommodate the swelling. I am so thankful I went in because it was pierced incorrectly and with the incorrect jewelry and the piercing needed to be removed. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Will most definitely be going back for any other piercings I decide to get!

Catt is the best piercer I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and kind. She talks you through every part of the process. I felt no pain after my piercing. The owner of the shop is an extremely kind guy he checked on me multiple times and profusely apologized for the wait which I was more than happy to do because of their amazing service.

I came in and got my navel pierced, my tragus & my lobes pierced like a week ago. Cat was my piercer and when I tell you I trust this woman with my life?! I REALLY DO! She was amazing & super gentle, she talked me through all my piercings to help me remain calm & even went over aftercare with me once everything was done. Cat really made my experience great & my piercings were fairly painless and quick. I would definitely recommend everyone to come to Biolab to get pierced by Cat!

I came in to buy a new stud for my nose. They helped me find the perfect stud and replaced it with no problem, and everyone was really nice. The experience was so positive! Highly recommend!

Me and my two cousins decided to come to bio labs for some piercings. We came in and were in line to be pierced by Catt. She calls us to the counter and she is the coolest chick ever!! She took her time with us and helped us pick out our jewelry. She also changed out two of my piercings. Catt listened to us and offered her opinions. Would come back here again and definitely will be when Catt is there to do our piercings.

Wait time was a little longer then expected, but it shows that they care. I had the privilege to be pierced by Catt and she is amazing. I didnt feel like I was being rushed and she answered all my questions. I will be coming back again.

WOW. Catt took such good care of us. After reading a lot of the reviews here, my friends and I trekked over to the other side of town in hopes of finding quality service. We went on a very busy day where Catt was by herself and taking client after client. She was full of personality when it was our turn and really helped calm my nerves. She was honest in which piercings would or would not work on our ears, and took her time with all four us. Catt is so vibrant and her technique is unmatched. Really looking forward to coming back.

I came here to get a flat and Catt did an amazing job! Shes chill, friendly, and professional. Shes also really experienced & she was being super and attentive to every little thing I was feeling, like any burning or numbness, and that was comforting. I was impressed with how she managed to dodge my veins so I had absolutely no bleeding. My piercing healed quickly & painlessly, highly recommend Catt!!

A return visit to purchase body jewelry I had my eye on. New Manager JC was professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I ended up buying even though they had already sold the pieces I was interested in simply because of the quality of service. I will return, the young man working reception had a fresh leg piece from one of their house artists that looked immaculate.

I am thinking of getting another piercing and was remembering a helix piercing I had done years ago here. I already had one in another ear that healed perfectly. The piercer insisted on inserting a hoop, which he said was standard and said I had to pay extra if I wanted a stud. The piercing was constantly irritated because of the movement of the hoop and became infected. I took it out and have a scar there now. Ive since learned that hoops are not recommended at first for this reason. It was also my most painful piercing. Bad experience overall.Edit to respond to owner response- it only takes a quick search through their yelp or google photos to see that they absolutely do put hoops in fresh helix peircings. Whether thats still currently their norm, Im not sure, but to call it a false review when the evidence is there is hilarious.

I took my minor (17) year old daughter here to have her belly button pierced and it was a fantastic experience. The online check in was easy, and Erika at the reception desk was amazing. Super friendly, and outlined the paperwork process for us before we dove in. She verified all of our paperwork quickly and efficiently too, which I appreciated. Moms and Dads - they don’t play about the info you need to bring so make sure you check the website before you go! Alexis was our piercer and she was awesome too. Kept us updated during our (very short) wait and was totally laid back during the process, which made my daughter less nervous.The studio is clean, brightly lit and has a fun vibe. You can tell the staff and employees like their jobs. We usually get all of our piercings done at a popular studio in Katy - not anymore! We will be back for sure!

I got my septum done here today and my overall experience was awesome! Catt was the one who did my piercing, and she made sure to talk me through everything, and ease my nerves. She gave me aftercare advice, and told me to reach out to her if I had any questions. I felt very safe with her, and she made getting my first facial piercing an experience I won’t ever forget. I have been thinking about piercing my nipples for over 20 months now, and have researched where to go. Hands down JC and Biolab is where you need to go. JC walked me through the process, let hubby join me so I could squeeze his hand and then told us step by step what was going to happen. I wasnt scared, the pain was very minimal and JC supported me/us throughout the process. Anyone that is thinking of a piercing, I highly recommend Biolab and JC!

Came here because of a friend who frequents as a customer. Tina was kind and informative! I really appreciated her suggesting the location of my double helix based on my ear shape. I saw many reviews mention someone named Catt but it’s great to know the shop has multiple people who are knowledgeable and good at their craft. The price is a bit higher than other places I’ve seen but I like that they seem to specialize in piercings and focus on quality. It felt clean, kinda like I was at the doctor’s office lol.

I have gotten my nose and cartilage pierced here and they are awesome! Everything is so professional and sterile, I always know they are going to take care of me when I go in. Definitely the only place I will ever get anything pierced.I got my cartilage pierced here 13 years ago, and my nose 5 years ago - both are still going strong.Highly highly recommend!

I’ve been getting my piercings here for several years. Ben is the only one that I’ll let pierce me. I have total trust in him. He’s accurate, knowledgeable and educated the person getting pierced. The environment is clean, well organized and the process is quick!

I was just in today with my daughter who wanted to get her bellybutton pierced. Of course she was super excited, but when the staff took a look at her anatomy she wasn’t a good candidate for a belly piercing. She was disappointed but I sincerely appreciated the fact that the staff was honest, upfront, transparent, and was more concerned about her understanding the higher risk of migration for her body type. Much respect for turning away business cuz it was the right thing to do vs just taking our money and not caring what would happen afterwards to her. Thank you very much for doing what you did today and it showed meyou have tremendous integrity in what you do. Which made me want to leave this review 👏🏻

I waited for hours. When it was finally my turn, the piercer with long red hair and a medical boot racially profiled me and gave me poor customer service. She only showed my the inexpensive septum jewelry, and rushed me. I inquired about the Tether jewelry in the stand. Her response indicated that she was surprised I asked about it. Additionally, she tried to sell it to me for $500! That’s ridiculous! The Tether website sells their stainless steel, gold finish clickers for $130. I bought my first Tether gold clicker for $120. I did not appreciate the racial profiling, poor customer service, and overcharging for jewelry. I will not be a patron at this establishment. I’m treated with respect and charged at fair price at Body Art Piercing Studio.

Catt was amazing and gave very detailed instructions. She was very professional and fun to be around. I would highly recommend her and Biolab to friends.

I came in to get my piercing changed out to a hoop 7 months after i got it and was told it was healed. I finally found a jewelry that wouldnt irritate my skin as well. I wasnt told they charge to change it and the total was $45) When they changed it out it bled and i asked if that was normal and she said yes, without cleaning and changed it out to a smaller hoop because i didnt want a chunkier jewelry, (there was room still open in the piercing) Then a day later its already irritated i try to treat it for a month it gets worse and worse and so i came back and waited for an hour just to see the piercer understandably they were busy. However i did not know him taking out the piercing for me after we decided that was the only option would be any charge ($15) so i waited for an hour just to be told its best i take it out while also being charged for it. I took really good care of my piercing before and feel like it wasnt ready for a hoop but instead of telling me it seemed like they wanted money. Really upset about the money i spent taking care of it could have LEAST not charged me to take it out or told me it costed anything! Girl was nice at the front counter though and i do appreciate that.

They really need to figure out their walk ins system. If you are down a piercer, the receptionist needs to help people pick jewelry so theres good rotation. Or tell people the expected time. Never had to wait more than 30 mins until today. Had to wait 2.5 hours and finally just left. Dont call people from the parking lot to come in and then ask them to wait in the store for another 90 minutes+.

Me and my husband got our septum’s done here. Is it possible to give MORE then 5 stars? Or higher then 10/10? They were clean and sterile and professional and the shop was gorgeous. I really like the sign up wait system thingy they have because it creates a space in line and time stamps it and notifies you when it’s your turn so you don’t necessarily have to wait at the shop if it’ll be a while. They take their time with each client and discuss things with them and the particulars. I can’t remember my piercers name but she was amazing with me and my husband. Taylor Ed everything to us and adjusted my septum ring so I could hide it during my job! Can you say amazing? They are every honest and up front and transparent about everything and open to any questions you have. And they are respectful! Soon as we have the spare cash we are returning for more! Best place around. I always recommend them!

Aaron was super nice and courteous. Very sterile workspace. He even repierced my septum because the first one wasnt straight enough. Very thorough aftercare instructions. If youre wanting a quality piercing in Houston this is the place to do it.Ill definitely be going back to see Aaron again to get my double nostril piercings in a few months once my septum heals.

Went in for a flat piercing and was given a sheet stating I could come back in 4-6 weeks to downsize the post. I went in right at 6 weeks and was turned away after one of the piercers told me, “I’m not sure why it says that, we never downsize that early. Come back when it’s been 12 weeks.”A couple days after that. I started getting an irritation bump so I went to a different place to get a second opinion. They told me the post Biolab originally put in was way too long and was causing the irritation. So after downsizing the post, the bump went away in less than two days…. Learn from my mistakes. Don’t go to Biolab.

I just got my lip pierced yesterday and I love it! This is the only place I get all my piercings done and I’ve never had a problem at all!

Came to get Christina piercings and Catt was amazing. This was my second time getting the piercing done and catt was super helpful and explained everything. We will definitely be back and Catt will be my permanent piercer from now on.

We went in 3 times and got turned away. The first time we went in they told us to come back later, we did and got turned away because they had to “close early” and again got told to come back tomorrow morning. We came in and they told us they had no piercers in. I understand stuff happens out of their control but that was ridiculous

Hands down the most sanitary, cleanest and most knowledgeable piercing specialist in Houston/Cypress. We went and saw Johjoe today and she told me my daughters snake bites weren’t ready to be changed. Instead of just charging me and doing it for the money, she was very professional and honest which I truly appreciated. I will never go anywhere else! They will forever have my business!

I got my ear lobes pierced here, and I am very happy with my piercings. Catt, the lady who pierced my ears, was very sweet and easy to talk to. Even though I’m scared of needles, the piercings didn’t hurt too much because Catt talked me through the whole process. Highly recommend!

Catt did an amazing job on my back dermals $190Update: I understand back dermals don’t last too long and I would understand if my body rejected it, however, the gemstone on the dermal fell off after 6 days. And once I got them fixed someone else changed my back dermals ( free of charge thankfully )and the jewelry repeated the offense and fell off within 3 days. So the jewelry was the main issue I was originally upset about. But to make matters worse not even up to a week of getting them redid the top fell off. It wasn’t secure at all and I’m an out of state college student, so can’t fix it with anytime soon. I’ve been wearing bandaids religiously so I wouldn’t have any excuses if something happened. The duration of all of this was three weeks. So I never got to actually enjoy my piercing and now I’m hundreds of miles away and $190 down.In conclusion: The people that treated me were sweethearts, however, the jewelry is pricey though insufficient. I also felt like only Catt really knew what she was doing because though the dermal top was not loose that quickly like it was the second time when someone else did it. I don’t mean to be bitter I am just really upset.

I was out to eat at a expensive dinner when my cheeks piercing fell out. I was panicking an called the closest shop to my house to pick up on the way home. The two ladys at the front seem very knowledgeable about the piercings even though they didnt do them there. One was suggesting I get a flat back (it would eventually heal over the flat and heal into my cheek or I could bite it) the other one knew I needed a bar bell. I told them both my piercing Guage was smaller than normal(its less likey to have issues healing, which is why mine healed beautiful.) They sold me jewelry that didnt fit me (10 guage) an let me leave like that. I got home and I couldnt figure it out so I went back up there to have help. They seem irritated I asked for help an they told me the only way to make the jewelry they sold me was to stretch my piercing. Sent me home with no help and wasted money on jewelry I cant wear. The lady implied I was crazy because I looked like I wanted to cry after ruining my valentines dinner and money down the drain.

Piercers arent amiable. I listened to them, but mostly the female piercer, talking to multiple people before my appointment and they speak with tones and language thats demeaning and disrespectful. The owner also got rid of the piercer Ive been seeing there for 13+ years and changed the entire vibe of the piercing studio. Pricing and selection are ridiculous for initial piercings and service, which is what this studio has been for nearly two decades.

Piercing took place in august!i went in to get a vertical lebret piercing, joined the waitlist and was the first person :). got in super quickly.i believe my piercer was Elizabeth, and she was great! she made me very comfortable and explained everything i needed to know, and i felt very secure with the whole situation.the piercing came out great!!! it healed super quick, it didn’t even swell much at all. sadly, i had a clear retainer in it during halloweekend, and it fell out. i am definitely coming back here if it decide to get it redone.

Elizabeth has been my piercer the past 2 times (nose and helix). She gives options for placement and size of piercing and gives a great professional opinion. Biolab is very clean, professional, and has beautiful choices for jewelry. Theyre the only place I trust for piercings.

Had a great experience at BioLab! Elizabeth did a fantastic job with my flat piercing. She took her time with me and walked me through the whole process very well from start to finish. She helped me pick out my jewelry and also changed my tragus piercing to match my new flat piercing. First off I want to say how awesome these guys are. The woman at the front desk was super friendly and helped us get checked in. Wife and I went late on a Sunday night to get piercings. My wife was getting her second cartilage piercing and I was getting my first ever ear piercing. I cant say I wasnt a little nervous but everyone there made me feel really comfortable. My wife who has had several piercings from here, several years ago, and other places was the one that suggested we check them out. Alexis was who did ours and made everything really straight forward and easy for both of us. The wife had really painful scar tissue from a previous botched gun piercing, Alexis was very quick in that area to reduce the pain. She also was very quick to respond to her pain. Everything was easy for me but she still was awesome. She also was happy to do a little consult about a couple future piercings for me.Place was very clean and you can tell they take cleanliness very seriously here and in the tattoo parlor connected to them. Cant recommend this place and Alexis enough!

Katt was amazing!!! I was nervous at first but she was great at keeping me calm. She explained all the aftercare and answered my questions and gave me amazing tips. Very good place to visit the staff is awesome and the place is very well kept. Very much recommend Katt!!

I’ve gotten my earlobes, both nostrils, septum, and lip pierced here all by different piercers but each and every single one of them has been so kind and friendly. I never felt nervous because they were really good at explaining how it was going to happen. Even my septum and lip piercing didn’t hurt at all, idk if I was lucky but I’m gonna say that was skill. (Shout out to Catt who pierced my lip today, didn’t even feel it!) You get what you pay for & that’s cleanliness and quality here with Biolab.

Love love love this place! I am a 16 year old getting her first piercing and I was so comfortable! It was a easy sign in with my mom and not a long wait at all. I got pierced by Catt and she was so sweet and comforting. She let me know how it was going to feel, helped me breathe, talked me through everything, taught me about aftercare, helped me stay distracted and informed me how I could feel afterwards and helped me when I started feeling that way. I’m so thankful for this wonderful experience and would definitely recommend 10/10!

Got my nipples pierced it was a great experience. Professional staff. Cat was polite and informative also accommodating. I felt comfortable with my first piercings ever. Clean environment with sterile utensils. Pain was 2/10 but fast. My 1 suggestion is gauze instead of napkins 😁

I stopped in on a Saturday with two friends to get a piercing. I thought they were closed but after finally reading the directions clearly posted on the door, I scanned the qr code and got on the waitlist. Alexis was patient in showing me all the options and finding me more options that were within my budget. My two friends decided once we were inside to get piercings as well and the front desk was super nice, re-arranging us so that Alexis could do our piercings together. We have to go back for a 6 week check up soon and are all three planning to get more piercings. Highly recommend, just make sure you read the instructions on the door, dont be like me.

I told my husband that I wanted to pierce something for Christmas. Wasnt sure what though. Went there tonight and Johjoe was amazing. Shes super knowledgeable and helped me figure out that I really wanted to pierce my nose. Highly recommend them, especially Johjoe.

I went to Biolab and got 4 lobe piercings, and my tragus jewelry switched out. My piercer Catt was super sweet, very personable, and took her time to make sure I was happy with my placements. I was very comfortable, and 10/10 would recommend. If you want a quality experience, in a clean, friendly environment, swing by and ask for Catt or Ben.

Catt was so kind, great, patient, informative and very knowledgeable. She took her time. There was no rush to get you in and out during the piercing session. Biolab used to be my favorite piercing studio.However, it turns out that was largely due to the piercers - who got the vast majority of these reviews, and are no longer there.Ill admit that I am impressed with the selection of jewelry Biolab now has. Unfortunately, that doesnt change the fact that the quality of service has gone downhill. From my aunt having to point out that blood was running down her ear, to me (the customer) being ignored so the piercer could talk to my male friend, to the we now charge for every single thing we do is a bit hard to ignore. I have no qualms with paying money (shoutout to the time I had to go in and get all 21 taken out for a CT scan and then put back in a few hours later)...but when Ive had to go in several times in the past year because the same piercing keeps coming unscrewed or undone after Ive been told itll only come undone if i use force? Thats frustrating.Its no longer the place for me, but I wish the company well.Edit: at no point did I say the Aunt or the friend were with me at this last visit - these were experiences over the past year. Last night, i absolutely waa alone - and I was smiling at my phone. Kinda creepy to point that out, though? And I straight up said I have no qualms paying money- taking all of them out absolutely deserves money...but being told this style is better and doesnt come undone only for it come undone and to then cost another $35 is frustrating. If its not one of my ear lobes, though? I dont undo it, or change it myself. I go in and have the professionals handle it for me.Edit 2: banning me from the waitlist due to what was a 2 star review is absurd, and a horrific way to run a business. 🙃

I came here to get micro dermals about 3 weeks ago now, I had never been to this shop before but it had amazing reviews to I figured why not, this shop is amazing to say the least and definitely lives up to the reviews! The staff is very nice, and will answer any and all questions you have, my piercer was ben, he explained everything to me before he started, I was in and out in about 15mins, he gave me clear introductions on how to take care of my dermals and what to expect, he was really sweet about it all, clean and professional, ill only be coming to this shop from now on, you gained a customer for life!

My first time coming here and everything was just as stated on their website. There’s a big QR code to scan and sign in; I was 5th in line and only waited about 15 minutes at most before being called ins I got pierced by Alexis and she was super nice and walked my cousin and I through each step. My piercing was also sterilized in front of me which was nice. The person out front was also helpful and even though I wasn’t sure whether I’d end up getting a piercing or not they were both nice. This is my first piercing and I would definitely recommend coming here.

I’ve been going to BioLab for years because I trust Ben (best piercer in Houston). Ben is very professional and has a reassuring demeanor. (I have 15 piercings; all done here) Their place is very clean, ample parking and a smooth entering process.

I had an excellent experience at this piercing studio. Their piercer (removed) did an amazing job with my ear piercing and the studio was very clean.UPDATE: My ear was not the correct anatomy for the piercing I had done, I was not told this and was instead told I could have the piercing; I had to have it removed three months after having it done. The piercer that did my piercing no longer works at this studio, it was a different piercer at this studio that told me it shouldnt have been done and replaced my jewelry with something more likely to heal with my anatomy.

SO IMPRESSED! After a not so stellar and rather painful experience with a very popular competitor in Houston, I went to Biolab Piercing Studio & will not go anywhere else again! This is THE place to go for piercings! Ben was fantastic! He explained everything from piercing techniques to etiquette to aftercare to quality of jewelry & was so personable. My friend went thinking she’d have to have her piercings redone & realized when she was talking he had reopened her piercings without even feeling him do so. Being a healthy & clean establishment is their #1 priority! Will definitely be going back again!

Was told my wait would be 30-45 minutes. It ended up being over an hour for Elizabeth to tell me that my current lobe piercing would need to close before she could add an additional. If I’m getting an ADDITIONAL hole why would I want the first to close? Makes no sense. Wont be back.Edit: My current piercing is 15 years old, why would it tear or need to heal?

Came on a Friday to get my nose pierced at opening and it was super packed so I decided to come back Saturday at around 7 and had no wait. They were fast and professional with check in. Alexis was my piercer and she was amazing! Super sweet and made me feel comfortable about the whole experience! I am beyond happy with my new septum pricing! The place was completely clean. They wipe down anything and everything after a customer is finished with their business. The staff was very polite. This place was extremely professional! I went and got a PA. Aaron was my piercer and he was very thoughough with explaining the procedure and and the aftercare. Its odd to have another man touch your genitals but he was awesome! I felt very comfortable getting it done once he starting talking about his experience and training. Im not gonna lie and say it was painless but it was quick and to the point. I will go back once its been healed up to get a bigger gauge. Very clean and professional once again. 5 stars all day long. Got my septum pierced here. My piercer had an injured shoulder but didnt let that hold them back and the experience was quick and easy, especially as I had a previous piercing there that was wonky. Highly recommend this place. Would definitely go back if Im back in Houston again!

My daughter and I went for 3 piercings 2 helix and one nose. Aaron was our piercer he was very professional, attentive to detail, best customer service, you can really tell he has a true passion for what he does. I have been going to Biolab for almost 5 years since I got my first piercing aside from my first lobes. Like basically every other bad review, this establishment has really gone downhill over the years. I went to get a tragus piercing several months ago, and right off the bat I found it strange they used such a small gauge (18 and not 16), nostril jewelry. The piercing was fine for the first few weeks so I thought nothing of it. After about a month, a piercing bump grew. I wasn’t too worried about it, but it has not gone away for months despite constant cleaning and carefulness that I usually do when I get a bump. I do not want to go back to this establishment because I’m sure they will tell me it is my fault as the other reviews say. I have 13 piercings and have never had an issue like this before. I hope all of the reviewers that are in the exact same situation as I am become a learning experience for the new staff.

I recommend this place for anyone who wants a piercing. They were AMAZING! The lady in the front (I didn’t get her name) was very sweet and welcoming and cleaned the front after every guest. I recently just got my septum pierced here & man I was nervous for no reason! Ben Reel did my piercing & it did not hurt one bit. Shout out to Aaron he is absolutely amazing. This was my first ever piercing besides my basic ears and he walked me through every step. He helped me to calm down and not be too nervous. Plus when I got a little faint afterwards he let me lay down and got me fresh cold water. Ive never had such amazing service before. I googled the number one places in Houston to get piercings. A few shops came up for me to compare... this shop had the best ratings and comments so I said this is where Im going hands down for mine. I drove a hour to the shop, parked and came in. I was instantly greeted by Ben and he educated me and gave me all the information I inquired about. I was nervous a bit he eased my anxiety. Once Aaron finished his client he also greeted me in a friendly manor while Ben sterilized the room. Once in the room all clean utensils, new equipment and jewelry and gloves. Ben walked me through the process and talked to me. He did two piercings and both were done in under a minute. Very painless, we laughed and joked and he gave me the cleaner needed and I told him Id be back. I recommend this place to any and everybody. The staff is wonderful and gentle!!! Hour drive well worth it.

I live 45 minutes from Biolab but continue to keep coming here because of the professional & friendly staff as well as clean environment. I have been pierced by both Aaron & Ben, and both were super nice and explained what was happening during each step of my piercing(s). I will definitely keep coming back here! Today was my third time coming here, and I decided to get my conch & daith pierced and it was great!

I called yesterday to ask what I need to do about an infected piercing/do I need to come in. The lady on the phone said yes come in and they can take a look at it, youll just scan the QR code on the door, etc.When I get there and she looks at it all she says is she’s not a doctor. I need to see a physician. That shouldve been communicated to me over the phone that yall would not be able to do anything regardless of an infection or not. Not to mention no one was very kind in the process. When I got it pierced here about 2 years ago there was a man and he had GREAT customer service skills and made me so comfortable. Wish I had the same experience now

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!! I have been looking for about a week for a place to get my tongue re-pierced and finally came across Biolab Studio. Aarons professionalism was outstanding! He was very knowledgeable and informed me step by step on everything he was doing. I started getting a bit nervous and Aaron made me feel better and seemed to genuinely care. First time coming here last night after reading all of the previous reviews and I just have to say, it was a great experience. The wait isn’t much to complain about with knowing how popular this place is. Went in to get my septum and vertical labret done and once it was my turn, it was a quick in and out. Ben was my piercer and with how nervous I was to be there (I deal with severe anxiety) he made sure I was comfortable, informed me throughout the whole way, explained in great detail how to take care of my piercings and even provides with a card with his number in case I have anymore questions or concern. This is a great piercing shop. The shop is clean, neat and sanitized. The receptionist is so sweet and friendly, very inviting. My piercer, Aaron, was Amazing. He took his time to clean the room in-between each client. Everything he touched was cleaned and sanitized. He walks you through each step and tells you what to expect. He was also very gentle while administering the piercing. This shop as a whole is Wonderful and they provide a awesome experience from start to finish. I had an excellent walk-in experience today with Aaron (piercer) and the lady at the check in desk! The online process was very easy and simple and I had minimal wait time even with no appointment. I came in for a jewelry change. Aaron was very kind, thorough, and sanitary, and he explained each step he took as he measured me, shaped my ring and inserted it into my healed piercing area. He answered all of my questions with a friendly tone and detailed responses, which is rare to find at other Houston piercing and tattoo shops. The jewelry price was very reasonable so I purchased more pieces that he also shaped to fit my piercing area without being asked! I will not go anywhere else for new piercings from now on. I went to Biolab today for 4th ear piercings in each ear. I was greeted warmly at the reception area and did not wait long once I completed my paperwork. Aaron was my piercer and he was PHENOMENAL - so professional and courteous!! He talked me through each step of the process, making eye contact when he was able to. Aaron was kind and did great work - the piercings were quick and almost pain free. Id recommend this studio for anyone looking to have a piercing done because Ill definitely be back!

I got here at 11:15 on a Saturday night it was dead. I first tattoo artist walked up to us didn’t say a word just looked at us and we said we wanted a very simple small infinity heart tattoo. He said ok and walked away. Then another guy Justin came and asked us again i showed him the picture he went back to talk to the first guy and came back and asked how much were we willing to spend. I looked at him confused bc of the lack of professionalism. He then said it would cost between $150-200. But we’d have to come back the next day bc they were almost closing. I will never step foot in this place again and I don’t recommend anyone come here. There’s a tattoo shop on every corner go somewhere anywhere else!

Loved my experience, from walking in and out of the studio. I went in to get my nostril pierced, found them via Google search. The front receptionist was very welcoming and warm. My piercing artist was Ben, very patient and knowledgeable. Overall, great experience, will update 1 month post piercing to let y’all see how it’s healing.Edit; it’s been about 6 months since my review and my piercing healed beautifully. I’ve since changed the stud it was healing with and downsized the earring.

Excellent service. They are rather strict in their process but for good reason. I went there with my daughter, we were in and out in 20 mins. My daughters experience was very good too, with much lesser pain than expected during the actual piercing process.When you arrive scan the QR code on the door. I needed to have my naval piercing redone and had a few questions about the redo and could it be done.From the start when I placed the call to my arrival (walk-in appointment) nothing but professionalism with outstanding customer care.The knowledge that the piercer has regarding skin and proper placement of jewelry makes all of the difference. The online reviews are what brought me into their studio. The customer reviews are well deserved! Needless to say I’m thrilled with my piercing as it looks so much better now then before.

Great experience Ben was my piercer and he was very knowledgeable, kind, and professional. The place was clean, with a welcoming atmosphere. The Daith piercing I received was painless with after care instructions provided. I drove several hours to see. En to get the piercing because he was highly recommended and I see why. This was the absolute easiest most relaxed piercing I have ever had done. Thanks Ben, and I would do it again.

Got my septum done about a week and a half ago. It has healed good, no pain other than soreness the first couple of days. Alexis was my piercer, she was great and I will definitely be back.

I had an amazing experience last night! The receptionist was super kind and friendly. She was helpful too! And the piercer was knowledgeable, confident, and kind. The studio including the bathroom was clean and smelled great, also the piercer walks you through the sterilization process and explains everything. Those two are a dynamic duo and I have no regrets on any of my 3 piercings. I will be back and will be referring everyone I can. Thanks guys!

Alexis did my septum and was absolutely AMAZING !! She was so comforting and sweet, making my nervous self completely comfortable. She was so caring about how I was feeling before and after the piercing which made me want to come back and recommend this place to my friends. 10/10 adore this lady and the receptionist! I forgot her name but her style and how bubbly and friendly made me feel welcome and accepted. She also stayed outside in the freezing cold to wait for me after I forgot my soap and had to come back.

Amazing! i came here with my best friend so we could get our nipples done together. this was our first piercing experience, so we were super nervous but the workers made us feel so comfortable! specifically, our piercer Aaron created a comfortable, respectful and safe environment for the two of us.we plan to come back again for future piercings!

I was very confused by the waitlist. I was next in line ok. After the client that was there left, I refreshed the page and it was saying you are being served but people were called before me, I was like ok cause they say you will be called. I wasnt so I left cause I had stuff to do. Then I get a text saying thanks for your business?! I was never seeing. Lol.

I got my peircing done by plugs. He was really cool and talked me through everything just over all a very good experience. The place was clean and just a very nice area!

Ben is the best piercer!! The staff was very friendly and Ben was super meticulous about sanitization and very communicative about the process. I went in with 3 other girls to get different piercings and the process was a breeze. I usually have allergies to certain metals but Ben assured me that they use surgical steel and my industrial piercing is healing like a DREAM and it’s only been 2 weeks! I even had my 2 year old daughter with me and everyone was super accommodating and she even got a lollipop 🥰

AMAZING! From the beginning. The front lady was so sweet and fast. She sanitized everything. From the pens to the seats customers where sitting. It smelled so fresh and clean. Ben was so amazing and supportive. I was beyond scared to get my first ever body piercing, however Ben made it fast and very comfortable. Will be returning and highly recommend it 💓

Seriously the best place ever. Tattoo Mark on the tattoo side..well his work is beyond fantastic and he gives input on designs and is very friendly. As for Aaron and Ben at Biolab, they are two of the greatest guys ever. Aaron has pierced my daughters multiple times and is always thorough and sweet. He explains everything and his passion shows. Ben has pierced my ears more than once and he is wonderful. Hes experienced and quick and knows his stuff. Overall you cant go wrong here. We love it.

I went here for a dermal piercing (3rd eye) around midnight 12-1/2-2019. First of all, “Rose” at the front desk is just a kind person. Friendly, courteous and welcoming. I personally enjoyed talking with her. Then Ben who did the piercing is professional but still friendly of course. He made sure I was comfortable before proceeding. When I’m nervous I ask questions.. he answered them💯. It’s a relaxed atmosphere that will definitely help calm any nerves. It’s a very clean and well kept place. I can’t complain. Everyone’s body is different but for me the dermal is healing beautifully. No signs of it ever being infected and or rejecting. I listened and followed the aftercare as Ben stated and there hasn’t been any issues. I did hit it one time but it was only irritated (red) for a day. I’ve shared a picture that I took a week ago so anyone can see how well it is healing and how accurate he is in the placement. Regardless of what type of piercings I get, I definitely will be coming back here.

I came to see Aaron for a septum piercing and it was by far the best experience Ive ever had! Everything was clean and sterilized. Aaron was thorough in explaining the process and aftercare instructions. The piercing itself was painless, I only felt the discomfort of the clamp and that was it!! Aaron pierced my navel for me today, and I am so happy with the procedure and results!I decided on Biolab after reading reviews on Google and Yelp, and Im so glad I went through this studio!The piercing room was extremely clean. He cleaned the jewelry in front of me, and all the tools used were single-use sterile tools.Aaron double checked the piercing markers with me, and made sure I was comfortable during the whole procedure. He was as gentle as possible and guided me through it very professionally.He answered all my questions and gave me thorough instructions to help it heal and for appropriate aftercare.This was my first piercing in years, and I felt incredibly comfortable during the entire experience. They are all super friendly and kind. They answer any questions you have before and after being pierced. I won’t go anywhere else for my piercings haha, I only trust them. 10000/10 I would recommend them, I live 34 minutes away from them and it’s worth the drive. I have gotten my orbital, belly button, and double cartilage done here and love them. They do get busy, so I would be prepared to wait.

I have been pierced by both Ben and Aaron and they are wonderful and very helpful. Ben actually helped me repair a faulty piercing from another shop and after that I came here for the rest of my piercings. I have gotten a total of 4 piercings here and each time the piercing has been quick and as pain free as possible. The healing has been wonderful and quick since the piercing was so well done.

Ben is seriously amazing. I had piercings done here and he (along with everyone else) was fantastic, clean and professional. I had to go back for some adjustments to my jewelry (due to pregnancy) and to have some questions answered about jewelry options going forward as things progress. The experience left nothing to be desired- Ben was again very professional, thorough, helpful and pleasant.I don’t have plans for piercings in the immediate future, but I know where to go when I’m ready and who I can count on!

I had an amazing experience at Biolab Piercing Studio. I went there to get both earlobes pierced, and Aaron who was the piercer that was available to me at the time over there during the night shift, was extremely helpful to me. He made me feel very comfortable/not nervous and I had a great a time! The piercing was extremely quick and painless, and the jewelry you get is kind of cool! Highly recommend for anyone first time or not to get their piercings done at this place.
