My family had a great first experience with Claires, piercing my families ears. Our piercer was so sweet and answered our questions and helped calm my kids now. I just wish they had gauge earrings too. Thank you.

Last Sunday, we took my daughter here for her spend a birthday gift card shed gotten. She was so excited! We saw a sale for buy 3 get 3 off. So my daughter looked through the whole store and found 6 things. At check out the sales associate said its now only hair and makeup. We pointed out this sign. She said shed take the sign down when shes free. No empathy. Just told us to try again.So we did! Finally my daughter settled in two tiaras such were in the hair area and next to the sign (pic 2)! We wait in line again for 15 minutes, only for the associate to say tiaras are dress up not hair! Even though tiaras are by the sign, go in hair with clips on them!! Again she told us to get out of line, try again, we were holding up the line. When I tried to talk to her about the situation, the lady said no. Then a woman behind me started yelling at me, and when I turned around to explain things, her husband threatened to punch me in the face!!We were physically threatened until we were forced to leave the line. The sales associate actually seemed to like this! She was happy that we were forced out of line! She didnt call security or anything.I should have left at this point, but my daughter was so excited. So I swallowed my pride, bitterness, and resentment to push on for my daughters sake.We put the tiaras back and found more hair things. We waited in line a third time, at this point its been 90 minutes in the store! And finally when it was my turn, I dropped the basket 6 above the checkout counter. The sales lady looked at me and said, You cant disrespect me like this! Get out, Im not going to check you out.I tried to explain the whole situation and everything that has happened to me and my daughter, but the lady didnt care. I asked to speak to her manager, but she refused. I asked for her name, butt she refused to tell me. Instead, she called security on me for disrespecting her! After I didnt 90 minutes in the store, she didnt honor the sales printed in the store twice, and I was physically threatened in the store! It was so beyond anything Id ever experienced, when I was willing to overlook everything done to me to buy stuff my daughter wanted for her birthday!So I left and will never go back. I encourage everyone to go to the Claires in Riveroaks. The lady there was an literal angel and restored my faith in the Claires brand. Ill never go back to this store again. Absolutely worst customer experience of my life!

I just got my second earlobe piercing in both of my earlobes. I absolutely love my new piercings. I had a great experience and the Piercer was professional and nice. My piercings are perfectly aligned and neatly done. I was also given Claires rapid 3 week hygiene after care cleanser. Along with instructions on how to properly care for my new piercings. This is the best Claires in Houston!!

My daughter & I visited this location on Monday. We received excellent service from the staff the moment we walked in. They told us about the specials they had and we were able to take advantage of the buy 3 get 3 free on hair accessories. We will be coming back to this location.

I recently visited Claires at 394 Meyerland Plaza in Houston to get my ears pierced, and I had an incredible experience from start to finish. The store itself is well-maintained, tidy, and visually appealing, creating a pleasant shopping environment.What impressed me the most were the excellent managers at this location. Not only were they friendly and approachable, but they went above and beyond to ensure my visit was smooth and enjoyable. They patiently answered all of my questions, offering insightful advice and guidance throughout the piercing process.Their willingness to help in any way they could made me feel confident and comfortable. Their expertise and attention to detail were evident, ensuring a safe and hygienic piercing experience. The managers took their time to thoroughly explain the aftercare instructions, providing me with the knowledge I needed to properly care for my new piercings.I cannot emphasize enough how delighted I am with the exceptional service I received at Claires in Meyerland Plaza. The professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care exhibited by the managers make this store a standout among the rest. I highly recommend this Claires location to anyone in need of excellent ear-piercing services and a pleasant shopping experience.

We came here today around 1:45pm, and the sign on the door said closed for an employee break until 2:15pm. Fair enough. Employee comes with lunch in hand, opens the door, and then locks it again without any acknowledgment of our presence. I get that employees are entitled to a break, but dont walk past customers waiting outside and completely ignore them without saying anything (at least a hey were still on break until 2:15, can you please come back then? or something to that effect). Employees are super rude, and clearly do not enjoy working there. I keep going back thinking itll be a decent experience, but that never happens. Save your $$ and go elsewhere.

Went there today (monday, june 3rd) around 3 (3:10) and the lady that was working was EXTREMELY rude for no reason. left immediately afterwards

As a mother of one Princess, I am very protective of her. Needless to say, I was very nervous for my 5yr old daughter to have her ears pierced today. Honestly, I simply did not want my daughter to experience pain. The ladies today were fabulous with her. I requested that both ears be pierced at the same time and they were more than happy to accommodate my request. My daughter did amazing and the ladies made sure she was comfortable before they began. I would 100% recommend Claire’s Meyerland for ear piercing ❤️

I went yesterday to make piercings in my daughters ears because it says free ear piercing in the door but not says with a purchase of the earrings there. I wish I could sue the hole store for false advertising.

We had an altercation with the manager there. I am Hispanic and she told me that since we are in the US that needed to speak English and not Spanish. She also tripped to hit my sister in law while we were trying to get my baby nieces ear pierced. If you are Hispanic don’t go there they are racist!!!

No one is here to open the store at 11 am when it’s suppose to open. Horrible. Close this shop down or hire better employees

My friend and I were having a meltdown day and decided to get a third piercing for a bonding meltdown moment so we visited this location. A’Riel was AMAZING. She is a perfectionist with making sure the placement is correct and even fixed where I had a gap from fighting the people doing my ears when I was a kid. She was running the place by herself and honestly needs a raise. I live an hour from that location and would go back just to see her again.

Absolutely awful experience!! Claires is one of the stores I love going to, but will never go back to this location! Every time I go in a Claires store I have a friendly employee say welcome or hello. Also, they usually tell me about the promotions and if i need help with anything. However, this was not the case with the lady named Tori today. She didnt even look up when I walked into the store. At first I thought maybe she was busy, but each time I passed by the register she was just on her phone! I didnt even want to waste my time asking for anything and when i went to stand in line I was still ignored! I immediately just put my stuff down and left. Highly unacceptable for an employee to provide such awful customer service. I will revert to a different location from now on.

I came to the store yesterday at 8:48 to find the doors locked. A mother and daughter that were there before me were waiting outside and informed me that someone was going to the back to get the key. We all waited outside for at least 6 minutes in 50 degree weather and no one ever returned. There was no sign letting us know why the doors were locked or if they were closing early due to system issues, just horrible customer service. After growing tiresome, I took my patronage to Charming Charlies where I received a warm welcome and assistance.

Where to start.....Im only goving this place 2 ⭐ because i got a pair of sunglasses there last week that were actually nice; however, their costumer service is terrible, fro a start I literally had to wait to pay for my items because the manager was having an argument with another manager, right there in front counter while I waited.When they finally decided to help me out one of the managers was kind enough as to let me know of Claires deal buy 3, get 3 free I asked how long had that been going on and the answer was: since always. I have been a costumer of that location for over a year now, no one told me, till now

Went to get a cartridge piercing 11am 11/28/2022. 6 year old in piercing chair. Clerk asked what I needed, told her, she says can’t do that type of piercing cuz of city wide boil water notice. ?! Left called other Claire’s they had no such problem. Excuse to cover her prejudice to refuse service cuz I am a covered muslim. Emailed corporate with complaint.

I love the accessories their, so adorable! The clerks arent that much of a help but the store was laid out nicely enough for me to find 3 headbands, 1 pair of earrings, and a best friends necklace for my friends birthday. It was a much better experience than charming charlies

My experience was great!! Went in for a ear piercing on my reconstructed earlobe & Mandy did a phenomenal job! She displayed great professionalism, knowledgeable expertise & friendly manner. She even took the time to educate her co-worker for future reference on piercing a reconstructed ear! Thank you Mandy! I’m really pleased!

Jade was super helpful even with a store full of people. She did a great job on my 7 months earrings. No rushing, gentle, and great customer service. Claires is lucky to have such a great employee.

My and my friends went to this Claires hoping to look around but, we almost Emidietly got kicked out because we looked to young and didnt have a parent with us. We are in our late teens and no longer need a parent to accompany us.

Super nice workers, and they were very detailed on information for sensitive skin and jewelry. Found out that if there are any allergies to accessories purchased, you could return for a refund. That doesnt go for the piercing earrings, as those are real gold and white gold.

From the moment I walked into the store I felt unwelcomed. The cashier alice was rude, she followed me around the entire time like I was going to steal something. I understand that in our day and age theft is a problem, but she didnt have to make it seem so obvious. When I finally checked out she didnt even say a word to me she just handed me a receipt and walked off.

I would suggest to hire some workers who knows little bit how to talk to customers otherwise you would lose many customers. My daughter broke $9 glasses and the cashier person act like we stole something. How could you say one cannot step out of shop unless you pay for broken item. When I asked about policy of it if kid by mistake do it, she denied to show me. She talked to manager who said that since its not written, you can go without paying. I still paid as $9 dollar is not a problem but problem is how you deal with your customer. I never step into Claires store again because of 1 sales persons. I never seen such behavior in any store around me.

I placed an order to be picked up at this store, and no one contacted me. Ive been calling since the store opened today, and no one has answered. The management should be ashamed of the way this business is being run. Not good customer service.

Thay where not nice and patient with my 6 year old daughter getting her ears priced, kept walking away and and attending to other costumes.... I whould not recommend for small children, very unpleasant experience 😕

Got ears pierced and additional 20 percent off. Daughters always overspend here, but the discount helped out. Loved the selection

Worst place ever... the lady worker is so rude..if she dont know how to deal with the customer then why she is doing this job..my 2 year old and me went to the store, unfortunately my daughter pick sunglasses from the store and start to press sunglasses 😩.. worker came to me and said you have to pay for this, and you cannot leave the store until you pay.. i pay for it, paying is not a problem but i just hate such kind of behavior.

Terrible place! Went in the middle of the day and there was no one in the store. Was attempting to get my daughters ear pierced and that was a mess. The lady working here seemed like she just didnt want to work, she ended up scaring her instead of helping her get it down. We left waste of time.

My daughters ears look wonderful pierced - Nancy did a great job. And they have good deals on toys with piercings.

The employee completely ignored my mother and I. We was in the store for at least 5 minutes where we saw her greet 2 other costumers, but she never greeted us nor asked if we needed any help. 👎🏼

False advertising and extremely rude and disrespectful workers. Stay clear of this establishment at all costs.

Got to Claires at 10:40, it was closed. Supposed to open at 10:00. Took two buses to get there. Customer support was no help and never apologized

The staff had excellent customer service skills. They were nice and courteous.

Terrible service. The adult was on her phone the whole time and provided no customer service. The kid did all the work but was unfriendly and uninformative.

The worst attention I have received in my entire life, the woman who is there is rude, she was there after my children and the whole time I was making sure that my children did not touch, apart from the fact that I spent half an hour waiting for something to happen because the store was not there Open was 6 in the afternoon, in my opinion this lady should not be working there 09/05/17. If you dont change staff, youre going to lose clients.
