This was my second time coming here and I am still so satisfied with the results I get when getting pierced here! The first time I came here, I got my second love piercing on my right ear. This last time, I got two: my helix on my right ear and my other second lobe piercing on my left ear. I have somehow always gotten Jo as my piercer, and she is legit the best. She is good at keeping you calm and reassuring you, but she is also very precise with her work. I always leave very satisfied with my piercing and their placements. If you’re wanting to get pierced, this is the place to go!

I had an incredible experience at Studs! The studio was clean and welcoming, which immediately put me at ease. My piercer, Jo was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain every step of the process to me. She made sure I was comfortable and answered all of my questions with patience and care.The piercing itself was quick and nearly painless, and I’m thrilled with how it turned out. Jo gave me clear aftercare instructions, and I’ve had no issues with healing. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to get a piercing, they truly know what they’re doing and prioritize their clients’ comfort and safety.

I went to studs for my first helix piercing and I loved every second of it. My piercer was Bria and she did an amazing job at keeping me calm as I was very anxious for my piercing. I will definitely be returning for more piercings!

Love love love my latest piercings from Jax! This is my second trip in to Studs and we did the snakebite conch. Jax does an excellent job of recommending jewelry and piercing. And I love her warm and welcoming spirit. She turned me on to the art of earscaping, and I can’t wait to go back for more!

This was my first visit to Studs, and I am already scheduling my second visit! I highly recommend this location and Jo is A-MAZING! She is very skilled at piercing, is super clean and hygienic, and makes the whole experience fun and comfortable. I walked in with a broken heart and strutted out feeling fabulous! These double conch snake bite by JAX that I got yesterday is rockin my day! I went for lobes but she recommended to do conch, which I wanted to get too, then lobes later then theyll heal at the same time. Glad I listened to her because I love the outcome. You want an ear artist to work on your earscape! And the crazy thing is, my piercings didnt even bleed, I dont know how she did it but it was amazing! Thanks, JAX!!! OMG I LOVE COMING HERE!! I’m so glad I found this little spot! They have the best and most patient staff. And don’t even get me started on JAX! She is so patient and so helpful. She walks you through the whole process from choosing what earrings to get to taking you through the actual piercing process. She is so amazing and will def be coming back ! Thank you again Jax! I had the pleasure of being pierced by Studs and it was a wonderful experience as my previous encounters were at tattoo parlors, but what made it top notch was after I accidentally had my new conch piercing yanked out and lost the backing, Jo took care of me and cleaned me right up. I appreciate the care that went into that visit. I will be back for more(:

I came into Studs wanting a third lobe piercing on my left ear and also ended up with a “new first” which I didn’t even know was a thing! I actually met my piercer, Jax, before this visit when she checked on my right-side tragus and helped me pick a new earring for it. She took great care of me this time around as well, from helping me pick jewelry based on the earrings I was already wearing and encouraging me through the piercing process. Jax was intentional with her suggestions and was very patient with me. She is a true artist and if I ever decide to get another piercing, I’d want it to be done by her!

Ive gotten a total of 5 piercings here both from 2 different artists. I would 100% come here for not only a cute atmosphere and jewelry but for the attention to detail every employee has. Jax is my forever go to when it comes to piercing my ear. She is very attentive and actually cares about her work. If you come please ask for Jax as she not only makes you feel comfortable but will also give great advice on what to get for your next piercing.

Most expensive ear piercing ever. My daughter was interested in a second piercing, and she chose Studs for the piercing. It was $230 for the earrings and piercings for both ears, just one hole in each ear. I thought the price was outrageous for a small 14k pair of earrings and piercing. Also, the holes were not placed evenly. Im happy that this shop is a new option, just a little pricey for the service and product.

Jax! Jax! Jax! Im so so happy I decided to come here vs going anywhere else. Came here with my daughter for her 13th birthday and she immediately put her at ease. Jax takes her job seriously- and carefully looked at her ear to make sure everything would be okay...which automatically put me at ease considering her 1st piercing years ago didnt go as well. They turned out great! As for me- I came in to get 2 piercings but wasnt committed to the location...but was leaning towards 2 helix placements. Jax took a look at my ear, asked a few questions, & then suggested another idea of 2 snake bite conch piercings. Never even thought of that but after getting them- it looks like my ears were MADE for it! I will definitely be back for more. You have a new customer Jax!

I had an appointment set for 1pm for 2 piercings, and although they were a little busy the piercer got to me at 1:05pm. Jax was patient, kind and knowledgeable. They also made sure I knew every step that was being taken before it was taken. The process was a lot less painful than I expected. I’m definitely going back after my 8 week healing period is up.

Jax is the best we come see her for any piercings we need, she’s so professional and she has a great eye for styling your ears. Love her!

Jax and front staff were so kind and friendly!! I arrived early bc i was unfamiliar with the area, but they were able to work me in early which was completely unexpected. Jax is absolutely amazing! She educated me, was so patient going over everything with me & she is so passionate about her art! Just adored her & will be driving a couple hours to see her the next time I want a piercing! Not painful at all & obsessed with her idea & placement!! She truly is a STUD!😜🤍

I have seen many faces since this location has opened. I was there a while ago and there is a guy that manages the place now and I hope it lasts a long time! You can tell he wants everyone there to have a fun time both customers and employees. I am addicted to the energy in the building and how much I was taken care of from walking in, to getting pierced, to checking out!! 10/10 for everyone who ACTUALLY reads these!!

Absolutely loved Jax, the only reason I went back multiple times. Three of the three times I visited, there was a delay; you could make an appointment at 2:00 but somehow not be seen until 3:00. The last time I had to wait at least an hour and a half after my appointment time. There arent many seats or anything either, so you just end up standing in the way. But Jax?! Jax is amazing, just so incredibly kind, cool, very patient, and willing to explain things to help you not just get a new piercing, but potentially change the entire landscaping of your ear jewelry. While Im sad to learn shell no longer be at this location, Ill definitely follow her to wherever she ends next.

Ms. Jacqueline Jax and the crew at STUDS definitely make you feel right at home! I was unsure which piercing I wanted, and looking for something to balance my current look. She recommended the snug (when I was initially thinking a flat), and they way she lined it up with my conch is chefs kiss! It feels like youre just hanging with your girls, and you leave with new piercings! Ill be back to get more jewelry to change my current earscape, but they know whats up at STUDS and Im a new fan!

They’re very pricey but I loved Jax and her work. She was very knowledgeable and honest. Jax made sure I did not get a piercing that did not fit my ear. Sad she is no longer there.

I specifically came to this Studs location to get pierced by Jax after seeing her Instagram shared on the studs Instagram stories. I saw that she had done a lot of piercings that I loved and wanted her to help me figure out what would look good on me. She did not disappoint! Not only was she super informative but she helped me come up with an ear scape plan based on my ear anatomy and figuring out how to keep all the piercings I want balanced. We started my cartilage piercing journey with a contra conch and a flat helix. Jax was super quick and I am shocked how I’m not experiencing any pain. My third lobes were more sensitive than these. She was super picky about exactly where the piercings would go to make sure they lined up and would lay flat and the backs wouldn’t interfere with each other. I love the placements and look forward to getting the others we mapped out!

Vibrant and friendly environment. I had my appointment with Jax (Jacqueline) and she was quick and amazing! She recommended the earring size for my desired piercing and I am happy with my mid helix piercing! Cant wait to come back!

I went to STUDS on their opening day and it was great! I got my second hole pierced by Jacqueline and she was very knowledgeable in what she was doing. The process barely hurt and went by quickly. The jewelry was soooo cute and they had tons of options. Def recommend!

I went to get my ears pierced recently and my piercer did not practice proper cleanliness. She would pierce my ear, then would place the needle in the hazardous waste bin, close it with her hands then proceed to finish installing my earring without changing her gloves after having touched another surface. It really triggered my anxiety because how many people did she do that with and why would she not think to change her gloves after having touched anything else other than my sanitized tray and instruments? Its a very nice concept but they should really emphasize to their newer employees the importance of cleaniness and proper ways to avoid cross contamination.

Made an appointment on a Saturday. The wait was a bit long because they were busy! But it was worth it. The service was excellent. Bria who did my ear piercing was very gentle and knowledgeable. I brought my 3 years with me and the stuff was there making sure she was okay.

My 15 y/o daughter enjoyed her first piercings at Studs in Rice Village! They were so professional! Jax😘 taught us more about what to pierce and how to care for it in our short time there than we had ever learned anywhere else!

Check in/out process was very fast and efficient. My piercer, Bria, was great. She walked me through the process. I received the snakebite conch piercing in both ears. My ears are throbbing rn but it comes with the territory and was so worth it!!!

Riley was incredible and very patient! She helped me pick the earrings I got. She literally read my mind bc she picked the ones I was really gravitating towards!!! Everyone was super kind and the jewelry is affordable and hypoallergenic and also works for so many occasions!!

For my appointment, Jax helped me with my piercing. I was interested in an industrial, but I knew that I might not be able to based on overall ear structure. After a thorough consult, Jax and I were able to come up with a plan! During the set, up Jax was warm and welcoming and open to all my questions. I could tell I was in careful and expert hands. We proceeded with the industrial piercing and it is absolutely PERFECT. I am so incredibly happy with how it came out. I couldnt have asked for a better experience with Jax at Studs!

I got the top part of my ear pierced here by Jax. Jax was very patient with me and gave me sound advice on picking out the right stud for this location. But the best advice I got was doing one ear at a time that way I can still sleep on my side. I will come back here for my future piercings. This was my first time getting pierced at studs but not the first time trying their products. I absolutely love their jewelry and they have become my staple pieces. But getting an actual piercing was another level that I completely enjoyed. I was a walk in with my friends and they were more than happy to accommodate us! The lady who pierced my ear was very judgmental & a overboard germaphobic , she made me feel like I was dirty, I could barely put my belongings anywhere, she took her glove off threw it away got a new one , she said because I touched it , as if I was dirty ..It’s my Ear!! I COMPLETELY understand the importance of being clean ..I almost walked out .. but I really wanted my piercings. She didn’t give me any cleaning directions.. she just mentioned a couple of times to follow her IG😳. My piercings look good, but this was my first time there & it was not a welcoming experience…cute place.. but their piercings lady.. she called herself the “EARscape ARTIST” needs to work on her people skills because I didn’t feel comfortable at all ., I would recommend another piercing tech besides her if you go there.

I got my mid helix pierced by Jax today and I can 100% say that it was a really enjoyable experience. Prior to getting pierced we reviewed my jewelry options, did an anatomy check, and discussed the best placement based on my jewelry choice. She made me feel incredibly comfortable with her and she told me what she was doing before she did it and made sure I was comfortable. We talked about my piercing history to understand if I would swell or if my piercing could possibly reject. Jax is a phenomenal piercer and I would recommend her to anyone who asks!

The vibes were AMAZZINGGGG!!! this was my first ever piercing and i’m in love with the results. my piercer was Jax, they were so fun & engaging. 10/10 experience will definitely be coming back.

I’ve gotten a lot of piercings, but this was by FAR the best experience. Jax did a FANTASTIC job on my daith piercing. Barely hurt, and made sure I was comfortable. Took her time and I am so happy with it. Will be back for sure!

My daughter and I drove 45 minutes to this location. We arrived slightly before 7 and were turned away because the piercer was closing down for the night. This location closes at 8pm and we were just wanting a jewelry change, not even a new piercing. I feel it was very unprofessional as well as frustrating. For the record, the front desk worker was very kind. I will not be returning to this location.

Jax was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! 😍✨ She was so patient and explained everything perfectly. I ended up having FOUR holes that I didn’t even know were still open! She helped me utilize what I already had ♥️ I can’t wait for my next ones and have my dream ears!

I went in to get my basic lobe piercings today and it was the best experience. It was personalized and professional. My piercer Jacqueline was the absolute sweetest and made sure I was comfortable throughout. They are clean and the piercing selection is lovely. I will be back for my ear-scaping to get done. Had my first appointment with STUDS this weekend. My piercer was super friendly and patient with me. She listened to what I was looking for and came up with a plan for me to go back for another piercing. The piercing rooms are clean and felt very comfortable during my appointment.

I came in yesterday to get my flat helix pierced and my conch and front start to finish it was an amazing experience. Jax was who pierced me and she was amazing! I will be requesting her every time. She made me feel so comfortable and it was the least painful piercings I have gotten. Even today they are not as sore as previous piercings I have gotten in the past. She’s very knowledgeable and passionate about what she does and it shows.

Jax set me up with the perfect snake bites in my cartilage today! She was so professional, quick, and helpful and even downsized the posts for another piercing I had previously received. Will definitely try and get another piercing from her when it’s time!

I absolutely recommend the studio and Jax … 5 stars in not enough…My experience was amazing from the moment I stepped into the studio, I was greeted warmly and walked through the check in process. Studs has recently been my “go to” every time I want a piercing. Today’s visit was extra special cause I was pierced by Jax! She is incredibly patient and personable. Such a great experience! Immediately upon entry, Daisy helped my mom and I with picking out all new jewelry for her! She hadn’t had earrings in her top holes for over 20 years, so she was so excited to get blinged out! Jax was an amazing piercer. So kind and knowledgeable! She switched out jewelry for my mom and I and did both of our piercings. I cannot recommend this staff and location enough! Will definitely be going back for my next piercing!

If you dont want to read the whole review moral of the story is theyre overpriced and dont tell what you how much stuff costs. So go somewhere else or make sure to ask them every step of the way how much everything is before you get scammed.My Experience: I went in for a jewelry change and after looking at the website knew I would be paying a little over $100, but not too much more than that. They had a welcoming environment, but didnt communicate prices at all, which should be a standard to communicate to a customer. Since I looked at the website before hand I didnt ask, which is my fault, but someone should said this is how much this costs and so forth. I wanted to change out my two helix piercings with gold jewelry and the process was chill, however when I was told the price it was over $200. I was so flabbergasted and wondered how could it get to this price if I didnt even get a piercing and bought two earrings. I did research after and learned the jewelry online is different than the one in store apparently, but this was never brought to my attention, but I dont think its common knowledge either. They told me there wasnt anything I could do since they already put the earrings in my ear, but its crazy how I paid more for a jewelry change than when I first got my piercing.

Love love love my conch piercing, I have 3 piercings (the conch makes it 4) and out of all 3 this was my favorite one to get pierced. It was very easy, although my pain tolerance is high, I truly felt just a pinch. Will most def be back again !

I had lots of targeted ads for this place, so I decided to try them out. Everything on their website says to make an appointment so I did. I got no fewer than five reminders about the appointment.I showed up 10 minutes before the appointment and I ended up waiting for a full hour for my appointment. When I asked why I was told because of walk ins.My piercer was nice as were all of the staff. My problem is with the wait time for those with an appointment. I don’t know that I’ll be back.

Went in yesterday to get two piercings. I only had my earlobes pierced currently. I’ve had two cartilage piercings in the past and they healed terribly so I had taken them out years ago.I arrived early and they were able to see me even before my scheduled time. It should be noted I went in on a Thursday late morning.I wasn’t aware till I got there that they had a smaller set of jewelry that you could pick from for the initial piercing so just a heads up. Of course once you’re healed you can change it.I went in and was completely open to the suggestions from my piercer Tina. I want to eventually have a whole ear scape but knew going in I needed to start somewhere and really had no specific piercings in mind. She suggested a cartilage piercing and a higher lobe as well.Tina was very talkative during the process as she narrated what she was doing which helped me know what to expect next. She was super chill and I will deff be back to get more piercings as these heal.

I was very pleased with the quality of service I received and the safety precautions they take. Jax (Jaqueline) was my piercer. She explained everything and did an amazing job! Can’t wait to go back.

My husband brought me here for a couple of birthday piercings yesterday and I had a great experience with Jax. The piercing process was quick and surprisingly painless! Went in and got a daith piercing and i absolutely love it! Jax was amazing, she made me feel super comfortable, explained everything and answered my questions. Definitely plan to come back for more stuff soon!

Overall cleanliness and professionalism was amazing. The only problem is my friend and I who went to get our second piercing realized afterwards that both of our second holes were placed so closely to our first that we aren’t able to put any studs greater than .5 carats without them touching. We went in with hoops on so it didn’t look like an issue and wasn’t something we would’ve thought about but wish it was discussed :(

Visited Studs in Rice Village again for a pleasant experience! I came in initially without an appointment on Saturday but luckily there was an availability later that day. Jax was awesome and extremely gentle with changing out my jewelry!

This experience was so great! From the minute you walk in and are welcomed to the quick appointment and friendly staff, the whole experience was easy and fun! They have such cute jewelry and staff are so informative and patient when explaining the process. Jo especially was very nice and made us feel very comfortable during the ear-piercing! Make sure to book your appointment in advance if you want to make sure you get one when you want!

Huge selection of jewelry and with appt youre in and out super fast! Jo was amazing... got my 3rd hole done. Wanted my conch but they only allow 2 pokes per 8 weeks🙄. Other than that great experience, will def be back!!

It’s been almost 30 years since my last piercing and I suddenly felt the desire. But going to the local tattoo shop can be frustrating as they don’t take appointments and the piercers aren’t always there. I came across the google ad for this place and went over when I finished at work. They were able to get me an appointment within 30 minutes as it was middle of a week day, help me decide what jewelry I wanted and explained their pricing. When asked ‘which piercing did you want?’ I replied “all of them” but I do like my AirPods so I could have anything that would get in the way of that so she helped me narrow down to todays two. Since it’s a boutique their jewelry might be a tad more expensive but overall their pricing is very fair. Jo walked me through more recent piercing practices and within minutes both piercings were done. I highly recommend Studs and cannot wait to go back for more

I’ve had a couple nice experiments with this STUDS location. I was pierced by Jax and really wanted her opinion on my earscape (vocab they promote on their website), but she wasn’t really helpful when it came to giving me her opinion and that was kind of annoying to me. I think tattoo parlors give a little less painful piercings, but I come here bc of the convenience.

I am super happy with my experience at Studs. Everyone was super helpful and Jax did a great job educating about the whole piercing process and the after care. I love my snakebite helix piercing ! ! I’m about 2 weeks out and the healing is going perfectly well! Highly recommend!!!

I have had great experiences at this location - but would like to point out the only reason I have had such wonderful experiences is because of Jax. The front of house staff needs some work on their customer service. Every time I come in (with an appointment, never a walk in), it feels like I am a nuisance. There’s an arrogance and it is very off-putting. Now that Jax is no longer there, I will not be back. Jax, if you read this - thank you for my 10 piercings!

I visited Studs yesterday to have my tragus peirced. I had a fantastic experience with the entire process. Jo was my peircer and extremely helpful explaining the process and making me feel comfortable. She was very gentle in the process. I will definitely be back soon for my next piercing.

I had a great experience getting my childhood piercing fixed. So glad this place uses the proper tools (not a piercing gun) and has trained their staff to be so friendly, inviting and professional. My friend told me about this place. They truly do a great job. Its welcoming and very clean. My friend had Tina and when I went back I got her. She walks you through everything and explains after care to you very well. If I got another ear piercing I would definitely go back here because I LOVE the fact they strictly use needles instead of a piercing gun! Only negative, and Im cheap lol, is that its more pricey than Id like for the piercing jewelry. $30 is the cheapest

I had the best experience with Jax as my piercer. I made an appointment and was not decided on what two piercings I wanted but after a great consultation about location, healing and jewelry, I walked out with snake bites in the conch. I’ve been to this location twice and was lucky to have Jax (Jacqueline) as my piercer the second time. Her energy is AMAZING. I’ve been here multiple times, once for piercings, once for a checkup, and once for a downsize. Jax took care of me each time and was absolutely lovely. She made sure she was explaining her every move as we went and showed me signs to look for to make sure my ear was healing properly. I’ve been to other places for my previous piercings and (while still good experiences) none have been quite so detail-oriented and attentive. If I ever decide to get another ear piercing, Studs WILL be the place I decide to go to.

Just had the most amazing experience at STUDS with JAX as my piercer. I went in knowing I wanted to be pierced but also knowing that I was choosing a “safe” piercing… Jax talked me through a couple options and made me feel like stepping out of my “safe” comfort zone. I absolutely love my snakebite conch piercings and I can’t wait do come back next time! I came to Studs with a dream piercing in mind (I’m talking years of mulling this over) and a source photo in hand and Jax executed it with great skill! Upon her first quick evaluation of my ears anatomy and seeing what I wanted, she set realistic expectations that I may need to split this double hole piercing up into two sessions with ample healing time between them. She stressed the importance of that and I trusted her assessment and accepted that potential but once it was my turn to sit on her piercing bench and she took a closer look, she was able to find the space to do them both at the same time. It came out beautifully and my photo really doesn’t do it justice 🙈💜She made the environment super comfortable, tactfully protected her process from anything that might incite distractions or discomfort for me. Gave kind direction and NO step of the process felt intimidating or like it came as a surprise. Maybe I’m waxing on here but I really think these things are the small details that help stack up to a great experience with a quality final product. I’m really looking forward to switching to an orbital clicker once they heal- dream come trueeeee ❤️‍🔥

Second time being back and I am always thrilled! I cant thank Jax enough for everything shes done.Long story short, I got a helix piercing done from a different shop which left me in so much pain and swelling after 6 months. Christina is super knowledgeable and a wonderful piercer. I am prone to fainting, and she made sure I was laying down for my piercing and had candy, water, etc. ready for me just in case. I had the best experience here! I will never get piercings anywhere else. I got my helix re-pierced and my conch pierced for the first time. My piercer was great and made the process so easy and as painless as it can be. I love that they sell the saline mist spray for cleaning the piercings and that they send you home with care information and stickers! They have a helpful diagram of where the ear piercings are and what they are called. The jewelry selection is great! I will definitely be back in a couple of months to get more piercings. I went to TX to work and wanted to get pierced while I was there so I decided to see if there was a Studs in TX because I only shop at the one in SoHo NY. It was such a nice shop. All the workers were super nice and especially the piercer I believe it was Jo. She was so informative. Gave great suggestions on what piercings me and my friend should get. The one thing me, and my friend thought was different was that on social media you see the girls up at the front usually are a lot more helpful styling the ears. Me and my friend did not get that full experience but still such a great place to go.

Beware! There’s a reason why their piercers are not associated with the Association of Professional Piercers!Got two helix piercings here recently. Was never informed the process selecting jewelry for the piercings or waiting for the piercer. Once back in the room, the piercer used one set of gloves the entire procedure despite having removed other jewelry posts and handling the cabinets. She also did not initially consult me much on the desired placement of the piercings. After adjustments, she mentioned I had a vessel she wanted to avoid. The piercings were done sitting up, which is not often done with the other professional piercers I have interacted with. There were no sterile gloves or sterile process for the piercing. Additionally, the piercer still managed to impact my vessel which has caused so much swelling that I have removed the jewelry as the post was too short and unable to book another appointment to attend. Seriously disappointed considering the amount of advertisements on social media.

Cant recommend this location enough! About 3 months ago, Jax did my first snake bite conch piercing and she made it as painless as Im assuming it could be. She did a great job with placement and walking me through the whole process and aftercare. I went back last week and requested Jax again to pierce my tragus. Again, perfect placement and easy process. Next piercing will be by Jax again!

I came here 2 months ago to get my helix and upper earlobe pierced and had a great experience! The staff was friendly and helped me decide on what placements would work best with the pieces I picked. They gave me a lot of good info about aftercare and my piercings have healed well so far!

I got two piercings on my right earlobe in December of 2022. I was excited to go to STUDS as I had bought multiple pairs of earrings from them online in the past couple of years and was so happy they were opening a studio here. Unfortunately, to this day the piercings I received from them have not healed and are constantly swelling, draining, and moderately painful. I have 17 piercings that Ive gotten over the last 15 years, all of which have healed with no issues. The only answer I can think of for this is that what was used to pierce my ear was not sterile. I am having the the same issue with both piercings. I do not recommend trusting STUDS for your ear piercing needs. There are plenty of reputable piercing shops across Houston that will be more than happy to take care of you (and that are not over priced). Super disappointing experience.

I got a lower helix piercing done. My experience was great and Jo is an amazing piercer. She walked me through the process and the aftercare process. Also the jewelry is very cute and dainty, and very affordable. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a good piercing experience.

Like many other STUDS locations I’ve been to, the Houston shop is clean and conveniently located, and the service is professional and quick. Can’t wait to come back to get my ears pierced!

Got two ear lobe piercings, one on each ear, and 3 months later i had to take out one on my left ear because the lady pierced it so lopsidedly, badly, that it put pressure on my ear to where a bump swelled. Then i had to take out my piercing in the other ear because, again, it was pierced lopsided and just never healed so i had to cut my losses. I went to a professional piercer at a shop and they told me the piercing should be perpendicular to my ear, like my other ear piercing were, waste of money, wouldn’t recommend goin here. It’s expensive at a actual piercer shop but they will 100% do a better job.

Had an amazing experience, Jo my piercer was wonderful. She made me feel so comfortable and really explained everything about the process. She really took the time to get the placement of my new piercings just right. I felt like I was in and out they did not take up a lot of unnecessary time and all the ths staff there was really nice and helpful. I was really nervous because I have a terrible fear of needles, but it was over really quick, also did not hurt too bad. I really recommend going if you are on the fence, they have alot of options to choose from from diffrent price points.

Love this place! I did not go for a piercing, just the jewelry. There are so many good choices! Great for sensitive ears too! I have had issues with jewelry making my ears itch within a couple hours, but these are made out of quality material that are not at all irritating. I will be buying more jewelry and getting a piercing soon!

I’ve been here multiple times, and I have always had an excellent experience. Jax is incredible! Everyone here is kind and caring. All of them truly want you to have the best experience, and Jax even does personal consulting for the placement of earrings! Amazing place, highly recommend.

STUDS IS LIFE!!!!Everyone is super sweet and helpful! My piercer Miss Jax is truly a natural at Earscaping! Ive never had anyone study the unique formations of my ear and give me the best advice as to what piercing will be best for my unique ear shape! I had to come 2 days in a row because I am obsessed!!!! You will not get some random placement just because you want it!!!! You have to have an artist paint your picture!!!! I will be back in 8 weeks to find another area to pierce!!!

Great environment! I went in to get my conch pierced and I hate getting pierced. Immediately as I walked in I was greeted by their friendly front counter staff. They help me set up an appointment and get the waiver signed. My piercer, Tina, was PHENOMENAL! She answered all my questions, laughed at my dumb, nervous jokes and made me feel at ease! 10/10 would recommend I’ll definitely be back!

Jax was very friendly and knowledgeable. She did my snakebite conch. Definitely will be back to see her!

Visited this location 2 weeks ago and was very satisfied with the service from the front desk staff to my awesome piercer Jax. The store has a great (and very varied) selection of earings for all budgets. When it was time to get pierced Jax explained everything she was doing in detail and the procedure was fast and barely hurt. She made sure I liked the piercing position and that it matched my ear shape and other piercings. I will be definetly be going back for more piercings! Ps. My piercings are healing great! I do suggest getting the travel size saline spray for after-care. Also allow yourself plenty of time to find parking, parking lots gets busy in Rice Village! But the location is super easy to find and parking is close by.

My daughter and I had an amazing experience. We walked in, they had one opening, she scheduled it. I wanted a piercing also. The piercer, Jo, worked me in! She was so patient and gentle. We are both very happy and will go back for jewelry and any other piercings we want! 10 out of 10, highly recommend.

I went to STUDS with my friend and had the BEST experience. Jax was so attentive and knowledgeable. They helped me pick exactly the best piercings for me and took such good care of us both. They made the whole experience so fun!

Went to get my 2nd lobe pierced here on 1/10/23 and my experience was awesome! If y’all go here ask for Scott! He was very gentle and the piercing itself was practically painless. I’m going here again to get my helix pierced once my lobe heals 💕It’s a tad bit pricey but it’s worth it as you get what you pay for.

Jo is such an amazing piercer. I’ve gotten piercings off and one for decades, but Studs in Rice Village has been my best experience and I’ll use them from now on exclusively.
