I had Cristian as my artist. He was very easy to work with and his skills are very good. The shop is super clean and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place! The tattoo was priced accordingly and even though it took 6 hours, it didnt seem that long.

We have gotten work done by 3 different artists and all of them are so good! I would highly recommend stopping in if you’re looking for someone to do work for you and you’re not sure where to go. Great service. Open at great hours if youre not a weekender or night owl and need work done. Went today to get a quote on another tattoo idea but the artist was so informative, knowledgeable, and made sure I talked to another artist who was out for the day I ended up getting a smaller tattoo on the spot from him. One hundred percent professional and even gave me a cheaper price than quoted. Didnt even tell him I am terrified of seeing needles on my skin but the artist was so good at was looking at the work on my wrist being done. Great shop, great people!!

I absolutely LOVE my tattoo! I booked with Louis. I had a request for a tattoo, and my photo reference was not very great or clear but he was super sweet and professional! He created an awesome design & He pays such great attention to detail! My tattoo came out greater than I could imagine. The atmosphere is great at this shop. Everyone was super cool. I will definitely be coming here for all my future tattoos & definitely recommend to anyone looking to get great work done.

I came from CT and decided to get a tattoo before I left, before I got my tattoo the tattoo artist used the razor to shave my face but he kept “shaving” even though there wasn’t any hair… he then used alcohol to wipe (which burned at this point) then he proceeded to wipe my face off with a DRY paper towel multiple times- while I was getting my tattoo done he still kept wiping with a dry paper towel to see the work that was done so far… this is my tattoo about 9 hours later I have a third degree burn and my face is burning, this will eventually scar.

So I wanted more butterflies on my right foreman and Louis was my tattoo artist. Honestly, he was the sweetest tattoo artist I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He was straightforward with the price and really emphasized the importance of value and how he would be able to accomplish it. He asked for my input in regards to the placement and was very considerate about the details and what I preferred. Honestly, the best tattoo experience for me. He made it easy going and super chill. I had the pleasure of getting tattooed by one of the artists there, I believe his name is Josh. He was very helpful in advising me how to go about getting my back piece done. I have a couple more sessions to make but I look forward to coming back and using this artist again.

I cant recommend this shop enough. The artists there are all really cool people and their work is amazing. My artist was Lewis, hes only been at the shop for a few weeks so hes not on the website yet but his work is fantastic. Dont let the baby face fool you, dude has skills. Ive been here for 2 tattoos. Both of them have been with Neil, his work is great and hes a very accommodating and patient artist! The first time I was being indecisive/picky with the color and he went above and beyond, even mixing two colors to get just the shade I wanted. I would definitely recommend this place. Dont be put off by the fact that its next to a gas station, its incredibly clean!

Great work will be back for my 5th tattoo

It was a last minute booking and Cristian was still able to fit my sister and I in for matching tattoos. When we got to our appointment it was only Cristian and us. The place was spotless, organized, and great music was a plus. Cristian greeted us with a friendly smile (or that’s what we hope since he had a mask on- and we did too). He showed us the drawings of what we wanted so we could pick size and let him know of any changes. We signed paperwork quickly while he prepped the station. He careful did my sisters and then mine, making sure we were comfortable and we had a friendly convo. I wanted an extra small one but wasn’t sure of font. He kindly took his time showing me some without me feeling rushed or pressured. I’m really grateful for his service and I’m absolutely in love with my new tattoos.

My wife and I have got 2 tattoos a piece here, and we will definitely be back. The place is clean, and the artists are friendly and talented. We were walk-ins both times and they got to us immediately. An all around great place to get a tattoo.

My fiancé and I decided to get matching tattoos. Louis and Mickey were our artist and both did spectacular jobs. Louis designed our tattoos right in front of us and took his time willingly even though we changed the design multiple times. Taking the time to make things perfect for my lady and I seemed like second nature to both then men and it made it such a better experience than expected. I highly recommend using this shop and if possible using Louis or Mickey. Top notch work from two top notch gentlemen.

I got an extremely sentimental but small detailed piece done with Louis. I went in with only a rough idea of what I wanted and he blew me away with the final product. Louis’s artistry, professionalism, and attention to detail is incredible! He made sure that placement and every small detail was perfect. Could not recommend him enough!

Love how close this place is to me every time I randomly show up they have always accommodated for me and I always end up with a great tattoo Ive actually have been tattooed by 4 different artist there . My wife and I spontaneously decided to go get tattoos and we checked reviews and ended up at 3rd Generation. Neil was there alone and it wasnt too far from closing time but he drew up our stuff, was really cool, and did an excellent job. Ill be going back to see him. Thanks bro. I would post a pic of mine, but it looks like a 6 year old did it, because its a drawing my kid did when he was 6 and I dont want it to give the impression that tattoos come out looking that way here unless you want them to lol.

They were very helpful and respectful. I asked if they would change the music and they happily had no problem. They are very patient with me moaning and groaning threw my 1st tat. The cleanest tattoo parlor you will ever see. Imagine if Mr. Clean had a tattoo parlor.. this would be it. It also had a positive energy to it. The place felt fresh. And no loud, annoying music. In fact there was no music at all! Just the buzz of the needle. Neal did a fantastic job.

Went here for my husband’s first tattoo on a whim. Eric could not have been more patient and understanding. Neil also covered my fading foot tattoo with a beautiful rendition of Arya Stark’s needle (#nottoday #valarmorgulis). Definitely go see these guys. They’re great!

Im over the moon with my thigh piece. Clean location, very professional and talented artists. Art was done by by Cristian. He was wonderful, kind, and I could not have had a better first tattoo experience.

I had set an appointment with Bryan a week in advance. My girlfriend & I both took time off of work to make the appointment. We live about an hour & 15 mins away from the shop. We fought though Houston traffic & made it in time for my appointment at 5pm. When we arrived, I was told that Bryan has left for the day and passed the tattoo onto another artist. The artist said that the tattoo I chose was not tattooable. Then showed me a completely different drawing of something he had came up with. It was most definitely NOT what I wanted. When I asked where Bryan was, another artist said that he didnt know. I guess he didnt want to make any money today. In my opinion, it was very unprofessional to pass a tattoo off to someone else. Especially after they had requested you to do it; and had been comfirmed it. It was most definitely not the other employees fault. I fell if nothing else he should if at least told me that he wasnt going to be there. He made his co- workers do the dirty work for him. And also had me take a 2 hour and 30 min trip (there & back) for nothing. On a side note I had also shaved my chest for the tattoo that I didnt get. But Ill be getting my tattoos at scorpion studios. I cant speak for the shop, but it was very unprofessional for the individual (Bryan) do handle business in that matter. I wont be going back anytime soon.

I wont bore you with history. Suffice it to say I wanted a very meaningful tattoo after my wife passed. What I got was a cartoon that looked like it had been drawn by a fifth grader who only had 4 crayons.I was ready to have it lasered off. Then I followed the lead of the millennials in my office and googled cover up tattooist. Thats how I found 3rd generation and Larry Shaw. Unlike the first place I went to, (I will refer to it as a joint, from here on out) 3rd generation is exceedingly clean open inside, very well lighted and didnt smell like someone had peed in the mop bucket. It is decorated with interesting artwork. (Yes, artwork). The joints walls were papered with scores and scores of skulls.Larry is a very personable guy, very engaging and interesting. These things make sitting in a chair being Tattooed for 2 1/2 hours not just bearable, but enjoyable.Before we ever touched ink to arm, I was relaxed, and confident. During the process, we had a great conversation. I learned a lot.Now to the important part.......I am extatic about what he did. Sitting in the chair, I couldnt see the progress. I told him about a couple of ideas I had for my tattoo. Fortunately, Larry is not one to just do whatever you want and keep quiet. He used his knowledge and experience to advise me as to what what would be best. You cant ask for more than that.My tattoo was my one and only. It is deeply personal and meaningful to me. The joint nearly ruined it for me. I was angry at them and at myself. Larry Shaw at 3rd generation ink. Did what I wouldnt have believed could be done.If you are looking for your first tattoo. Take your time. Your friends may steer you to a shop they think is good, but look deeper into the shop. They might have someone who is a good biker, but a bad tattoo artist that is a quote from the owner of the joint. He told me he had fired that guy. I had the impression he felt like that was supposed to somehow placate me.Where ever you choose check out Larry at 3rd generation before making a decision.If you choose poorly like I did, all is not lost. Check out Larry. I cant be happier with my results.

Me and my mother was gonna get a tattoo from here but we called and got no answer. Then we emailed and still got no answer. We also visited there website and texted one of there tattoo artist on Instagram and we still got no answer. So we drove to there shop and no one was there so we visited the next day and no one was there. Im not sure if there out of business or moved to another location but that was my experience so we ended up going to another tattoo shop.

Walked in and wasn’t even acknowledged. I was finally helped by someone, and the person was rude and asking why would I want to get the tattoo I was trying to get.
