Binn is an amazing artist. He did a huge thigh piece on me and I love it and so does everyone else. He is one of the best artists in Houston so if you are looking for quality work, you should definitely consider him.

For my birthday weekend, I got tickets to the Body Art Expo in Houston. I did some research via Instagram and saw Black Swan Tattoo Studio’s work. I really liked it so I went to the booth where I saw Jonathan working on something and really liked his attention to detail. I showed him a picture of the Legend of Zelda Triforce symbol I wanted as well as my dog’s paw print (she passed away this year). I was blown away by how much detail he was able to add to my Triforce tattoo. We made an appointment to do the paw print at the tattoo studio. I could not believe how big and clean that place is. The benches are so comfortable and Jonathan was accommodating to ensure I had an amazing experience. I am beyond happy with how everything turned out and can’t wait for future projects with my guy, Jonathan.

Johnathan is extremely talented with his work. I came to black swan for the first time as a walk in he assisted me promptly. I was very happy with it. Called back a month later and wanted a bigger piece.Amazing work and the line work is the finest Ive seen. I will definitely be coming back and mentioning his work and the shop to my friends.

Ive gotten two tattoos at this location from the artist Johnathan and they are easily some of the best designs I’ve had done. Not only that but the studio is especially nice, the vibes are good the music choices are great and all around I would recommend this place to anyone seeking a memorable tattoo.

Johnathan was my artist and was very patient and accommodating. This was only my second tattoo and he was professional, and on time. The shop is very clean and provides a serene and relaxing environment in which to get a tattoo. Most of all, the finished tattoo looked exactly like the design and although my design was relatively simple, it was well executed by Johnathan. I would highly recommend Black Swan and in fact plan on taking my son to get his tattoo there soon.

I found Hannah on instagram, I inquired her with some inspirations. She was very patient and fast responding throughout the process. The studio was very clean and open. Hannah also specializes in PMU, so her work was very detailed! The work was done in less than an hour. It was my first tattoo, and I would definitely go back.

Black Swan was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Everyone was nice. Binn took care of me as this was my 1st tattoo. I followed to his Instagram page, and he responded quickly. The way he took his time and handled the art piece as if it was on his own skin really impressed me. I will definitely go back.

I went to this shop for my first tattoo and its so nice! Its a very classy and peaceful tattoo shop with modern designs mixed with Asian elements! I messaged the shop on Instagram and set up my appointment that way! They gave me pricing for the sizes and colors for the design I wanted. I was super nervous but the artist, Henry, was so involved and really made sure that the tattoo was exactly what I wanted. He made sure I wasnt in pain multiple times and really took his time to make sure he captured all the detail I wanted! It really calmed my nerves and made me relax! I even ended up taking a nap in his chair 💀 The tattoo turned out beautifully and I love it!! So happy I choose this shop for my first tattoo!

My brother and I have been talking about getting tattoos for years and finally did it! Hannah was absolutely incredible. She was very attentive and kind from our initial inquiry and through the design process. My brother and I both got similar, but slightly different tattoos and love how our designs coordinated but weren’t identical. We couldn’t have picked a better place! I have two other tattoos from other places but will most definitely be coming back here for future pieces!The studio was clean and relaxing. I am happy that this studio was my brothers first tattoo experience. We were so pleased with the time estimates we were originally given and the actual time for each of it took pretty much exactly what Hannah had predicted. Hannah paid close attention to make slight modifications the day of to balance and fill our tattoo designs. She is a great artist and wonderful person to work with.

My experience with Hannah at Black Swan was awesome! I got to meet her in person a couple months before I got the tattoo and she was receptive, kind, and gave me an estimate for my design that day. The studio space itself is modern, well-decorated, and immaculately clean! Turnaround time for booking her was quick, she always responded in a timely manner and answered all my questions. Day-of, she was prepared when I came in for my appointment, patient and detail-oriented when applying the stencil, and has a great hand for fine line. My tattoo was in full rainbow color, and her gradient work is awesome! Positive attitude the whole way through, and took a break when I needed to during the tattooing to make sure I was comfortable. I hope to come back soon for another tattoo with her!

The work done by Bin is simply outstanding. This was my first time doing a tattoo and I did a lot of research for tattoo artists and I saw excellent reviews for this studio and I started to follow his work on Instagram. I booked a month in advance as his agenda was fully booked but it’s 100% worth the wait. I shared the design a couple of days before the appointment as well as the changes I wanted to do, and when I arrived he shared the proposed design with me and I asked for changes which he quickly incorporated. The atmosphere of the studio is very nice, and super clean. He was very patient with me as I was taking my time deciding on final colors, shapes and size. Once we were ready to start he was making sure I was very comfortable and asking me at all times how I was doing, if I wanted to take a break, level of pain, etc. Bin is super profesional and talented, he was very kind and caring over the whole process. When he finished the tattoo I was completely amazed by his work, I loved all the details as they came out exactly as the design we discussed. I would recommend him 10 out of 10! (Or even more if I could). Thank you Bin for making this a memorable experience.

I came here with my friend to get our first tattoos and the staff were so friendly! We contacted them about two weeks before our appointment and they were very informative. Had such an amazing experience today with Hanna! From the start making sure the placement was perfect, to constantly checking in to make sure I was comfortable and felt little pain as possible. I am from the Friendswood area and I was googling and researching good tattoo places around me/ in the houston area when I came across Black Swan. It was about an hour drive from where I live, but let me just say it was WORTH the drive. From the start I found the Instagram account and direct messaged the shop and they responded SO fast and gave me a reasonable quote for what I was wanting. When I got there, the shop was super cute and very clean!! My artist was Hannah and she did an AMAZING job and executed what I wanted PERFECTLY!! This is a wonderful tattoo studio, very clean! They have a very pleasant atmosphere in the studio and qualified artists! My tattoo artist was Oleg, I followed his Instagram (@olegcooper_tattoo), followed his work and chose him as my artist! I wrote him a message, he advised me professionally, created a unique design for me, helped me choose the tattoo location and size! Hannah was my tattoo artist, and she was wonderful. My tattoo was really colorful, and she carefully helped me with picking the color. She did an excellent job of lining and placing. He constantly kept me informed during his creative process and was very flexible when I had to change our appointment date! To the point of staying late on a Sunday to finish it in one go! I went to the Black Swan shaking because this was my first tattoo , Hannah was my tattoo artist and OMG , she made this experience amazing !! This is the cleanest tattoo studio that I have been to by far. Hannah is amazing! She always goes above and beyond with her work. I’ve been to her twice for tattoos and once just recently for lip blushing. Her line work is incredible and her lip blushing is awesome! She talked me through the whole process for both types of tattooing. She was patient, kind and communicative. If you need a tattoo with perfect line work, make sure to ask for Hannah!

I went to this studio to get my lip tattoo and Hannah did an amazing job. As soon as I entered I was welcomed by a calm atmosphere and cool relaxing music. Hannah explained to me the healing process and asked me several times about my lip color preferences. I felt very cared for throughout the whole tattoo process. She applied numbing cream and always asked if I was hurting. To me the pain was a 3 out of 10, with some areas being a 6 put of ten. She took her time in getting the job done and all her equipment looked clean. I would love to get this same tattoo in 2 years. It left my pale lips with such a nice natural color AND shape. I look in the mirror when I wake up and I am very happy with what I see thanks to her amazing work. ♡PD: freshly done and healed pics

One of the most chill artists I’ve worked with! Super clear with my quote, and even still got me in when some unfortunate circumstances occurred day of my appointment. Work space was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Bin was awesome, and very light handed- I don’t think my pain was above a 5/6 at even the most uncomfortable. On a recommendation from a friend of a friend I made an apppointment for my first ever tattoo of my dog of 12 years I just lost. I had a spontaneous urge to get a tattoo and booked with Hannah within a few days! I had a design in mind and she was able to give me exactly what I wanted! Her line work is great and her shading is so smooth! She is a perfectionist and will take her time with you. The chairs are comfortable and the pain wasn’t too bad!! The tattoo studio is clean and they provide water as well. Thank you so much Hannah! She also does permanent makeup tattoos and I would come back for that as well!

Came in here for my lip blushing, Hannah took care of me , she’s the best followed up with my aftercare and healing process. Everything was smooth and quick, it was my first time but she answered all my questioned and explained everything i needed to know. Pain level i would give it a 6/10 the numbing creamed helped but she was gentle and wasn’t heavy handed! Definitely recommend.

After reading great reviews, I decided to choose this studio for a tattoo. After several text messages back and forth, I asked to schedule an appointment for a consultation. I was told to come in at any time during business hours for a consultation. So thats what I did. I came in tonight for a consultation as told to walk in at any time. I was not greeted when I arrived, I was ignored. I sat down for over 20 minutes and no one greeted me or asked if they can assist me. So I left. I went to another tattoo studio who greeted me right away and accommodated my consultation.Dont tell new customers to come in at any time if you cannot greet them and accommodate them. This is why I asked for an appointment of when I can come in for a consultation when you are not busy but you told me to come in at any time. That was not a good decision as you ignored a customer walking in the door. Very bad customer service.
