Gerardos Tattoos

Took a family member to Gerardos to get a tattoo she designed and wanted. They discussed her tattoo design, how big she wanted, and pricing. The facility was clean. The artists were friendly. Gerardo did the tattoo for her in a safe, efficient, and professionally friendly manner. This is the 3rd person Ive taken to get a tattoo here. I came to Gerardos Tattoos desperate for someone to cover some old tattoos and fix some horrible work I had recently got done at a different shop. I contacted them and Gerardo got right back with me and set up a time for me to come see Bird. When I walked through the front doors, I was immediately greeted by G and instantly felt right at home. After meeting with Bird and talking over the cover-up, I left feeling really good about what was to come. Man, has it been a ride so far! In two sessions, we got my cover-up finished and I was so impressed, I decided to give Bird the rest of my forearm to cover with whatever he wanted, within the theme I was going for. Im now 3 sessions in and almost done with my forearm. Bird is such a talented artist and one of the coolest dudes Ive sat down to chat with in a while. Hes super open minded and as cool as they come. Both Bird and G are awesome guys! If you want a chill and fun environment and tattoos that are well worth the money, come see these guys. You will NOT regret it!

Best tattoo shop Ive ever been to. The artist is great with the tattoo gun. Space is clean every everything is detailed and Nicely done I got one tattoo from Gerrardo and the tattoo is so beautiful it still looks as if I just got it done yesterday.If anyone whos anyone wants a tattoo, then Gerarrdos tattoo shop is the place to get it. Walked in for the first time on Saturday 5/28/22 and from beginning to end my experience was top notch. I did not expect to get any work done that day due to Gerardos teams busy schedule but to my surprise not only did I get a masterpiece done but it was by Gerardo himself! I felt like an old family friend from beginning to end. I highly recommend this tattoo art studio to anyone because they have earned a life long customer for sure. Got a cover up tattoo from bird and it came out amazing 😈 I told him I wanted to do a strong animal and the rest he took care of and drew me something by hand this is the result what do you guys think? 😬 Getting a sleeve for sure from him!

Man these guys are great, the ship is neat, clean and always professional. The quality of work is phenomenal you cant go wrong. They are not heavy handed at all, everybody Ive referred were presently surprised how easy the process was.

I got my first tattoo here and it was an amazing experience, place is super clean with a welcoming environment, both Gerardo and Bird are friendly and very professional and amazing artists! Gerardo was very patient and super knowledgeable I loved that he didn’t rush at all through my tattoo he made sure that it was the perfect size and that I was satisfied with it before he started, tattoo came out more than good I’m definitely going back for more work I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great work! While there are many options and tattoo businesses in Houston, I called Gerardos Tattoos after several calls to other places and was quickly convinced that Gerardos was THE PLACE to go for my first tattoo. I spoke to Gerardo, the owner of the business, first by phone, then I met him in person. Immediately I was impressed by his kindness and thoughtful demeanor, his willingness to take as much time as needed for our consult on my tattoo and for his patience with my multiple questions and concerns. Gerardo over the phone and Gerardo in person are both equally awesome...thoughtful, considerate, friendly and professional! And, besides all of that, Gerardo is a highly talented and skilled tattoo artist! I felt very comfortable having him do my first tattoo. His work was meticulous, hygienic, careful and skilled. And the result was perfect!I cant say enough positive things about Gerardo (and his business partner Bird). They are both just such very kind, very thoughtful, very very talented individuals and human beings. I would without hesitation recommend Gerardo for any tattoo needs or interests. He is just such a great guy and has such a fantastic business. Truly a great place and a great guy!!! Two very very enthusiastic thumbs up and if I could, Ive give him 6 out of 5 stars! A true gem!

Best place in Houston to get tattooed. Gerardo has done my most recent tats and i couldn’t be more in love with them. The best quality of work that i have ever seen & had. Both Gerardo and Bird are amazing individuals. I have more fun in their tattoo shop than anywhere else! Looking forward to getting more work done soon.

What can I say. It was my first Tat, so I dont have anything to compare it to. Having said that, I have been into Tattoo shops before, you know, looking around at the artist work. They usually keep a bunch on the walls and the staff are normally pretty aloof. Not the case here. No art on the walls and the staff were very friendly and personable. Bird did my very simple work and we chatted up the whole time. When it got to actually doing the work he was very focused. For my first tattoo I really had a great experience. Surprisingly so. It was nice to make a connection with the artist before and after. Wasnt planning on getting another, but after this visit I think I will...

I researched tattoo shops in Houston. I was hoping to find someone fix a tattoo I had previously gotten that I hated. I did some searching and found Bird. I liked his work so I messaged him. Worked together and worked me into the schedule while I was visiting family. I never thought I’d love this tattoo so much. He did an amazing job and customer service there was great. Bird and Gerardo were awesome to work with. I’m so so happy with the work I got done and soooo worth the trip. I highly recommend them for any of your needs! Happy customer here! :-)

Great artists! Gerardo and Bird are amazing and pricing is reasonable . I can definitely say quality ink! My boyfriend and I drive down from the woodlands ! Some crazy lady did walk in tonight though, screaming about bad service I can definitely say she did not get a tattoo here. She actually ruined our session with her drama & racism. Other than that minor issue, Fantastic place!!

One word - FABULOUS! Gerardo is professional AND creative! His work is AMAZING! i greatly appreciate the fact that i had an appointment and he began with me right on time... This place was awesome. My nest friend and I went for matching tats and Gerardo made us feel so welcomed and at home. He eased my friend into her first tat. We had so much fun laughing and joking with G & B. I will be going back for all my futures tattoos.

I got my first tattoo here tonight, and everyone there was amazing! The place was extremely sterile—you sign your needles—and they’re extremely friendly. He gave me a few extra bits for no extra charge, and overall, the atmosphere was amazing. Definitely a good experience. I’d give extra stars if I could.

Got my first tattoo with Bird. I did some research looked into several shops all over the houston area. I am in Montgomery and was willing to drive for what I wanted. Found Bird at Gerardos and loved his work on Instagram. I reached out to him on IG and he responded pretty quick got me in for a consult really quick too. The whole atmosphere there is very chill. I was not nervous at all. His humble confidence really spills over and offers a huge sense of comfort. I had given him my ideas as to what I wanted and he totally blew it out of the water. Went way above and beyond anything I could have imagined. We finished the first session for my piece and I will be going back for the second part next month. So incredibly pleased with the whole process and quality and customer service. Will never use any other shop or person.

I walked in with an idea of what I wanted to have put on my arm but was not sure. Other tattoo parlors were not helpful and made my project seem very unimportant. Bird from Gerardo’s Tattoos worked to come up with a design, ideas, and fit to my arm. I was sold immediately. Great place. Great people. I’ll only get ink here moving forward.

Bird is a fantastic artist and a chill guy. He is also a big Star Wars fan, so if you’re specifically looking for something Star Wars, that’s a plus! But don’t get me wrong, he has a big range of styles he can do, too. Very friendly and clean environment, very happy getting ink here!
