What I love about this place they took me around the spot. I really like that rather other places like to tell you to come back or theyll call you or get back with you which they never do. Leon did such a beautiful job!👏🏿👍🏿

The guys working at the time were very friendly and accommodating for the small logo I wanted i paid 140$ which was reasonable but the linework was a solid 5/10 go at your own discretion guess it wasnt my lucky day.

I remember I was kicked out during covid for not wearing a mask. How yall feeling about that now? Lames! No respect from me!

Walked in right before closing on a Saturday after randomly choosing studio. My artist Friddle did an AMAZING job on my forearm piece. My stepdaughters tat turned out great as well. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STUDIO AS WELL AS MY ARTIST JOE FRIDDLE!!

I’ve gotten two piercings done here with Jake and two small tattoos done with P(ete?). They are all so friendly and welcoming, and make each process seem so simple and easy. Would definitely recommend this shop for piercings and tattoos. My mother also got her first tattoo in twenty years and we both love the results. Thanks! 😀

M’y daughter and I got matching tattoos and it was so quick and easy and it hurt a little. Which I was expecting- so it worked out well. Pete kept us entertained while he worked his magic. It was quick super easy and everyone was very nice

Had my first ever piercing done here, it was a absolutely great experience. The prices are great and so was the atmosphere. The piercer, Jake, explained the entire process to me which helped me feel super comfortable. Getting my septum hurt, but i didn’t bleed at all and when I started getting dizzy and cold sweating(which was really my fault for not eating) Jake talked me though it until I was calm again. He has experience as a paramedic so I knew I was in good hands and enjoyed the getting my piercing altogether. I love how my septum looks and if I ever get another piercing, it will be here. I highly suggest this place.

JAKE! I knew from the moment that I called to schedule an appointment that he was going to be a great guy. Super personable and makes you feel comfortable. Got my tongue pierced and everything went great! Got my nose pierced next and then forgot to breathe, so I passed out. When I woke up, Jake helped me come to reality and was super kind and professional. Both piercings are looking great and the aftercare instructions were made very clear by Jake. Definitely coming back here, hopefully I’ll remember to breathe next time! 5/5 Stars!

Made an appointment with Nicole, the power was out and they didnt tell me upon arrival, had me wait to get keys from the owner. Very unprofessional and un serious. Tried to reschedule a halfway done tattoo i already paid for and scammed me out of the aappointment and travel fee. Never again

The people here were great to talk to. Talked to the owner about horror stuff while my artist was working on drawing. Jo Curtis is the man. Ive had a few tattoos and he nailed EXACTLY what I asked for, and even put his own touches in. It was fast, great quality, and pleasurable. The price was okay, not over priced but not bargain basement. I would recommend this shop to anyone. I just got my tattoos done an hour ago and they look fantastic. They seem capable of all kinds of work(I got traditional Japanese and American back to back, another girl was getting script, and Jo had some cool drawings he wants to do). Thanks guys. Slav Squat!

The artist i had was cool and fast. He didn’t dig which is perfect. If I go back I’d deal directly with him. The only issue I have is the guy that’s the owner or manager over charged for what I wanted. I paid because I didn’t want to go somewhere else because I was already there, but be mindful of this WOMEN cause I don’t believe he do it to men 💯

Do not go here for tattoos. Not that I ever had one of their piercings but I’m guessing that’s why this place has such high reviews.To make it clear, I got a tattoo from here a while back and it’s now set. The way a review works is, you go to the place and post how you feel about it, which is what I did and do a lot. I do it with any place I travel to, sometimes in Austin :) sometimes in Houston :) sometimes in New York :)

They use piercing guns here and didnt bother to make sure my piercings matched so it looked sooo uneven. I thought maybe it was the swelling from the piercing gun and looked closely when I got home and was in tears about how bad they looked. Red flags I SHOULD have considered but didnt: 1) piercing gun 2) didnt get a choice in jewelry and wasnt offered to check them out before putting them in 3) piercer did not put the ink dots on both sides, make sure I liked the placement, made sure it was even etc. (Just went in and pierced, did not hand me a mirror at any point to check it out and confirm)These are things I take responsibility for too, because I should have done more research but am a novice in this area. Now I know.2 stars because they offered to redo it, but I was definitely NOT going back after that experience... Im out $80 but its on me for not speaking up the moment he brought out the piercing gun. (We had also already paid at that point)

Moving From Ms and was looking for a piercer, and now i know for a FACT i have found my piercer. Mr. Jake is the best. He took his time & literally talked me the whole way through. I WILL BE BACk.....Great Service

Extremely kind staff, everyone is friendly. The piercing artist is exceptional as well, doesnt settle for less than perfection. Theyre very informative of what to expect afterwards and dont beat around the bush if something wont look great, that doesnt mean they wont do it. Great pricing as well.

I got my piercing today by mrs.brown and she did great. i didn’t feel no pain and she was nice, followed all rules, made me feel comfortable!

When I walked in good vibes and everything place looks great clean and good music playing. Got my tattoo and was told I had to do it in sessions I said okay cool no big deal. I was told to go back in 4 weeks to get it finished and I kept texting and looking for Curtis and he ignores my text and gives me the run around. That is so unprofessional, but the owner is nice and straight forward. Now I’m walking around with a crazy unfinished tattoo.

I was very nervous but as soon as I walked in my nerves were gone. They greeted us and were very friendly. The guy ( Im sorry didnt get his name) at front desk was very friendly and made sure I got what I wanted. The environment was very chill. Mr. P was the one who did my tattoo he was fu ny and made jokes the whole time. Very lighthanded, professional and it took no longer than about 45 min. I will definitely be coming back. If youre in Houston and looking for a place to get a tattoo, this is the place!

5 outta 5! I cant recommend Red Ink enough, it stands out as a great tattoo shop. Badass art inside, friendly people working there, good location. Leon was super helpful and took care of my tattoo. He went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Ill definitely be returning here for my next tat!

So this studio was great last time we were here. This time we came for a late night tattoo way before they were supposed to be closing and when we got the lights weee on but doors locked. Then a gentleman came up to the door and told us they were closed rudely and walked away. Please don’t post your open and then not be open and if you do close early out a sign in the door so it’s not an inconvenience and people standing outside because the lights are on and suggest your still open. We thought people were in the bathroom or something. Looks like we won’t be coming back till we can figure out what’s up

I had gone to another tattoo only to be turned away until tomorrow.Called Red Ink was told to drive down the shop is open. There were a few people before me so I relaxed for a bit.BEST tattoo ever!!!!!Artists name is Fiddle he is calm and focused he stayed later than normal closing time to finish my tattooWell worth the wait.I would recommend to anyone.

Went in for a belly piercing and the experience was great from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. My piercer was so kind, gentle, down to earth, and made me so comfortable I didn’t even feel the stick of the needle. Will definitely be returning!

The guys here are awesome. My girls and I stopped in spur of the moment for dragon tats. They worked with us on a design and size to fit out budget. They are organized and professional. The shop is very clean. I highly recommend these guys and plan on going back soon.

This is THE place to go if you are traveling or just looking for some genuine people who really care about what you want. Jeremy was my artist and he was super cool, he was even working on his birthday! He went over my design of my tattoos, ( I got 2 & my girl got 1) and checked with us multiple times in order to see exactly what We wanted. The whole shop was totally cool though! I was used to other faces but when I came in everybody greeted me and directed to the right spot jake took care of me I went in for the Monroe lip piercing and my eyebrow & he was cool af ! I was in and out and he made me real comfortable pregnant and all ! Ask for jake if you need a piercing he gone take care of you frfr

Keep in mind I’ve had my snake eyes pierced 3 different times at 3 different places and I’ve watched plenty of YouTube videos and never have I been pierced without a clamp and on YouTube I have never seen an artist pierce without a clamp. The piercer at red ink pierced the snake eyes without marking with a marker and without a clamp. My friend was in extreme pain and couldn’t stop moving . He put the bar all the way through and took it out to pierce her again. The owner was already contacted and he said none of that was suppose to happen. I can’t give the place a 1 because it’s not that terrible but when it comes to tongue piercings, they need better training.

The worst ever. Worst than Dagos . If you go, I recommend not giving full but half deposit or they will cheat and under price you. Be careful especially the older seniors citizen that does the tattoos because he charges outside of the head guy even if u paid your full deposit and his tattoo work looks like the ones in prison

Took my son yesterday for his first ink, on his 18th birthday. Unlike other places we had been (one 2 weeks prior), we were able to set up his appointment the evening before...not wait for an artist to contact us back. Everyone was super nice, and my sons artist, Friddle, did an awesome job! Will definitely come back and refer to others!

Jeremy is an amazing tattoo artist. He did my first and second tattoo and he made me feel very comfortable and not freaked out about getting a tattoo. Both tattoos turned out exactly like I wanted them to.

As soon as I walked into this business the smell of marijuana was very strong the tattoo artist near the front door was holding a joint as he talked to us. I understand this is a tattoo shop but its also a place of business.

Jake was amazing! I called ahead and he walked me through everything. When I got there, he explained everything to me and it took seconds to do with no pain. I will definitely be back!

After my father passed away I decided to get a tattoo of his name. I walked into the Red Ink with high expectations based on reviews. I ran into an artist behind the desk. He didn’t bother introduce himself but he up-charged for a small black ink tattoo. Which he stated “a lot of people say I charge high prices but it’s because the quality”. Ok that’s fine. So I pay for the tattoo which I had to do upfront. Smh. Then I showed him a picture of the tattoo written in the correct font. He looks at it proceeds to say he can complete the task and not only did he give me a crooked tattoo in the WRONG PLACE but he also didn’t even spell the name correctly. I ask him to fix just the misspelling and he agreed but ghosted me. This was in MARCH. I reached out several times on Instagram and he left me on read but never responded. Ive been to 14 different tattoo shops for different reasons; to see a friend, family member, girlfriend get tatted. 2 of those times were for myself. This place is a hidden gem, Ive lived in New Orleans, Dallas, now Houston, its clean, atmosphere is easy going, good music (not to loud, not to quiet, good mix) all the artist appear to be good friends which adds to the experience. I got to see some other customers finishing with a few of their artist, ones name was Face (alot of face tattoos, good vibes, good dude), Tron (soft hands, did my brothers kick a** tattoo, and JJ (did a big chest piece on a little gay dude, tat had him looking like a beast, full color and all). My artist was a f***ING rock star, had skills, white guy with long hair, intelligent guy, good conversation and most important I got a Tattoo that stretches from my forearm to chest with alot of shading for a great price. Ill be back to get my sleeve.-The white dude aced my tatt!

Giving it 3 stars only because the tattoo artist i had didn’t really tell me the after care steps etc and did not clean it well, which could have caused me a infection. Thankfully another artist at a different location cleaned it up and informed me more about after care.

Went to several shops before this one and nobody wanted to draw my tattoo. Found someone willing to draw it for me here but the pricing was extremely high compared to other shops.

I just left this place and I am disappointed I’m not even a complainer but for 100 for a simple tattoo they gave me looks like I let my 5 year son scribble on me DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY or your beautiful canvas on this place

I needed to change my nose ring back to a stud and the piercer shoved it in my nose. It hurt worse then when I got my nose pierced.
