I had piercings done by Ashley and Rush on two separate occasions, both were great. I got a nose, ear, and lip piercings and they are all healing great!My mom got tattoos from Dale and they have healed great!Very nice people, very clean place, the people here treat you like you’re a friend. These people are great at what they do. I highly recommend going here! ♥️ I wouldn’t go anywhere else but here!

This shop is hands down one of the best! It was very inviting, everyone I encountered was super nice and friendly! The are very professional. Ashely did amazing with piercing my nose! She was very calming and relatable! I loved them!

My daughter and I came to visit The Neon Jackal to get her a noise piercing.Due to other reviews on Google, we knew this was the spot for us.Once arriving, the place just stood out like a sore thumb! Beautiful shop!l bright neon colors, organized Spacious and clean!! The employees were all super welcoming. Ashley at the front desk, hands down was our fav.Not only did she greet and assist my daughter with her noise piercing, she made us feel right at home. I came in for me and my friends noes piercings we had a young lady, her name was rush. She was so sweet and specific on cleaning details and very calm when getting the actual piercing itself. If I could recommend someone it would definitely be her, love the environment and the rest of the people there.

I get all of my ear piercings here and I’ve always been satisfied! Usually I have Rush piercing me and she’s amazing. It’s a very clean place as well. 10/10 would recommendation, I always come back!

Great experience!! We went late a night and ended up here because it was the only place open that seemed okay and we are so glad it happened like that! She shop is super cute and welcoming with cute rugs and the girl in the front was so nice. I’ve been to a couple of difference places and this is the first time I didn’t feel like the staff was annoyed by my excitement. Me and my boyfriend were pierced by rush and she did a great job helping us pick piercings that were best for us and getting the perfect placement. It was honestly pretty quick and almost painless and we got a paper to help us do the right after care before we left. Would recommend this place and we’ll be back for our next peircings😁

I came to get a piercing with my friend tonight let me tell yall rush was AMAZINGGGG I was so scared that my septum would hurt but it was the complete opposite she did it so quick I wouldn’t even compare it to a pinch! She did 3 piercings for my homegirl and rush talked us through the whole process and let us know everything she was going to do before she did it. If your going to get a piercing I can’t stress it enough to go to her she is such a good soul and cares about her clients take this from someone who has horrible anxiety RUSH IS YOUR GIRL!!!

I hate not being able to give 5 stars because I had an amazing tattoo experience! I loved this place from the second I walked in the door. Super clean and everyone was very nice! I got a tattoo back in October to celebrate my birthday. After I was done getting tattooed I thought all was well because it looked PERFECT! But as time passed I realized something was wrong, it took me awhile to figure out what it was since it’s never happened to me before but sadly it was a blowout and it’s super noticeable now unfortunately. It breaks my heart cuz I really did love my experience and this is also a special tattoo.

Clayton was our choice for our artists base on his work and personally seem to fit us best very down to earth mellow guy he seem passionate for what he does. Wasnt heavy on the hand and was very professional and gave us great suggestions. He mire towards the dark demonic love hate type art but as you can see he does whelp with simple and classy as well. The piercer is the sweetest girl ever, easily the best piercing Ive ever gotten! It was such a great experience for it being a painful procedure lolTheres a lot of tattoo artists on sight, too, with lots of different art styles! Rush is such an amazing piercer! My double helix didn’t hurt while being pierced and I followed her directions afterwards. The healing process was so easy. I came back for a jewelry change and she altered a piece of jewelry for me so it would be easier to take in and out for work. I’m excited to see her for more piercings.

Found this place on Google after going to two different shops for piercings with no luck. The reviews about Rush convinced me! She is awesome and so chill. She made me feel comfortable and she took the time to make sure my piercing was perfect! I will definitely recommend this place, the staff was nice and it was a clean enviroment!

Rush did a great job of piercing my daughter’s (17) ears and helping my mom (79) with her existing ear piercings. Rush was friendly, personable, and professional. Loved how careful and patient she was in placing the second piercings for my daughter. Also appreciated the way Rush only charged a service fee upon showing my mom how her ears did not need piercing, just gentle guidance in placing the earrings again. Great recommendation to go to Neon Jackal and great personal experience with everyone there.

Ive gotten multiple facial piercings here and ive never had a problem with any of them. gotten most of my piercings by rush, who is an amazing piercer!!! ive never ever felt uncomfortable, they are super safe and use amazing jewelry and are always super clean. while it is a little pricey, its definitely worth it for a piercing that wont reject and good quailty jewelry. i reccomend all my friends to go here and they have never had a bad experience. a few weeks ago, my friend came in because of a botched lip piercing, and rush was amazing and helped him out. someone i knew also got a tattoo from here and it looked great. i 100000000% reccomend neon jackal!!!!

I went in to get my second ear piercing. Ashley was so nice and welcoming.

While my rating is a 5 star because the overall business and other workers were great, my experience getting my nose pierced was a 3 star rating experience. However I don’t want that to effect the business just because my piercer made the experience less enjoyable. She was overall just sort of rude and dimmed the excitement I had in getting my nose pierced. Maybe every piercer has different rules, but my sister recently got her nose piercing done by Rush and everyone LOVED her. Rush allowed an adult in the room while my sister got her nose pierced, however my pierced did not. I’m a minor and so having a parent in the room with me would’ve made the experience more comfortable. Nothing was explained to me in terms of cleaning care, I was just handed the book and sent on my way. Rush had told my sister to not clean it til 3 days after, and my piercer failed to tell me that. Thankfully my sister told me, or else I would’ve cleaned it the first day I had it done because I was unaware. Finally, on my second day of having it (today) the top part of the piercing fell off because it wasn’t screwed in fully. I had no idea how to get it back on..because my piercer let me on my way without any helpful information. Every piercer is different and this doesn’t effect my view on the neon jackyl. I will return in the future to get more piercings 🙃

Showed up on a WHIM, to get my nieces navel, and my tragus pierced. First step in the door and we loved the place. The vibe is incredible!After driving over an hour, I am happy to say Rush was WELL worth the drive. She took her time explaining things to us, discussed future ideas, was incredibly patient, kind, and GENTLE! My niece didnt even feel her navel, and my tragus was only LIGHT PRESSURE. I will be coming back to Rush for my future piercings.As we were waiting to go back, another group was walking out and told us they had been following Rush for years and how lucky we were to have found her. I definitely agree!!! Thanks for a stellar experience Rush!!!

Rush did my ear piercings and did my moms upper lobe piercing and it was an absolutely amazing experience, from the time you walk in the door you’re greeted and checked in by the nicest people, they’re all extremely friendly and explain all your questions. Rush is great at piercing and answered all questions and was the sweetest person you could ask for. 10/10 recommend, will definitely be going back for some tattoos as well.

The shop is neat, organized, & very clean. Pricing was fair for each piece my tattoo artist did for me. I had three pieces done here but just recently found out Efraim is no longer working here so I will not be returning. Ethan & I had a good rapport & he does amazing work so I will not be returning back. God bless!

Overall my experience getting a tattoo were great , everyone was kind and welcoming , I loved the stencil that the artist gave me , however after everything was one I noticed some designs that were added that were not on the stencil . The artist had added details that I did not ask for , she didn’t even ask me if it was okay . I knew she meant well because she was just trying to make it more complete but I really wish she would’ve asked me first , especially because it was my first tattoo. Besides that my experience was good, the artist was very kind , the process was smooth and quick , and I love my tattoo

I had an issue with a now previous artist ripping me off and the owner, Mel, was so kind as to reach out and rectify the issue and not only that but offered to do the tattoo I initially wanted to get and is actually excited to do the tattoo! Izzy did my peircing back in November, she did an awesome job and was supper good at her job. Told me when I was ready I could come back and she’d change it for me when I buy a hoop.I drove 40minutes over here cause my employee got me a gift card $50.None of the people could help me, and I ended up driving 40minutes to pay for my own piercing “because they’ve never used one before” lol

I absolutely LOVE this shop. I’ve been coming since they opened and I can’t stay away. Most shops have very unfriendly artists that seem like they couldn’t care less about your tattoo, but not here! I’ve been tattooed by Mel, George, and Clay and each tattoo has come out perfect. Plus, they were so awesome to be around and talk to. They genuinely made me feel welcome and appreciated. I came here on a wim to get my ear lobes repierced after 15 years of not using earings. Rush is sooo knowledgeable and comforting. She looked at my ears and was able to determine the best course of action and was so reassuring. Ill never go anywhere else. Already planning to come back here for a tattoo as well 🥰

Love love love this place! Its brand new and super clean. The artists are friendly and do great work! I recently went and had my sternum tattooed by Matty. Everyone made me feel comfortable. My tattoo took 2 session but it was well worth it! There is another session planned soon to add more details around the outside of the current tattoo. They even added on a really neat bandage that isnt like the old school ceran wrap. I can not wait to return and get my sleeve worked on.

I’ve got my fair share of tattoos in a lot of different shops, and I was really pleased with this place! Friendly face greets you at the door and helps you get started. The vibe is very mellow, no one in the place acts too good to help a customer. Clay touched up an old tattoo of mine and added to it, the outcome was better than I could describe or even imagine! This is probably the cleanest, most vibrant amd fun shop I have ever been in. Full of folks who are great artist and even better people. Izzy did ridiculously clean line work on a couple of pretty simple tattoos and the whole staff gave the Wife and I attention like we were getting a 12hr piece. Ive got a bunch of ink, and as long as Mel has this shop open, its the only place Ill get any more!

I have massive trust issues and dont really like talking with new people as I dont feel that I have a lot in common with others but Dale is a great man and his work is not only on point but his attitude and personality is at ease. I will only come to TNJ while in Houston. Ihave work done in black with no colors from several artists in various cities throughout the US and islands so lines, shading, and detail matter to me and Dales methods and attention to detail make every piece that he does look like a living masterpiece. I took my son here to get his 1st tattoo. For his 1st one he wanted to get matching ones with me. He was really nervous even got a little nauseous during 🤣 but his artist was very patient and worked with him through the whole process. I really appreciate the fact that he did not get frustrated with my son even though we werent finish until close time. He took his time and talked him through it! Izzy did a tragus piercing on me and she was awesome! She’s technically an apprentice right now but she was so professional and sweet you wouldn’t even know! It was quick and practically painless. I’ve actually had to go back and have her put it back in my ear (bc my own doings) and she’s always very helpful and gentle! Will definitely be back to see her! Had piercings recently by Tara, and again later with Izzy. They’re both fabulous and everyone I’ve talked to at the shop so far have been so nice and friendly. Their prices are also the best from what I’ve compared with other shops.

The artist kept stopping to mention and talk about and push Jesus on me...not cool. The tattoo is trash. Not done healing but its not gonna turn out well. I have done everything Im supposed to do. It was supposed to be a jelly bean for our baby my wife and I lost.

Came in for a Friday the 13th tattoo, not only did they take the time to talk to me about my tattoo while they were packed full they answered all my questions and had me done in under a hour, definitely will be coming back to get more tattoos here!

Mel did my tattoo it was a last minute walk in and she was super kind and patient with me 10/10 would go back. Went to another tattoo shop in Houston with an appointment the same day and they were rude and never got to me waited almost two hours but not with the neon jackal, super friendly staff, If youre in the area I would go here over any other place!!

Been going to the Dwizard (Dwight) for two of my tattoos so far and man does this guy have a talent. Incredibly grateful to him and to the establishment for always exceeding my expectations!

Mel and george are very unprofessional. poor management with TERRIBLE artist. MEL... next time make sure your artists aren’t using “bad needles” and threatening your clients. you don’t want to catch a lawsuit. if i could give this review a ZERO star, i would.

If I could give the business more stars I would if I could give Izzie 10 stars I would everyone was so nice the energy was great izzie did my piercing and she took her time talked me thru every step & she made sure I was super comfortable with everything she did her energy was super laid back n she was so sweet

The Neon Jackel Tattoo has a great atmosphere, the artists are professional and friendly. Clean, clean lines as well as a sterile work areas.

If I could rate this shop 0 stars I would. The artists here are so rude and disrespectful! They clearly dont care about fixing bad work that comes out of their shop. This is ridiculous. Do NOT get your work done by Mel!

Their staff is absolutely stellar and management clearly cares about them, which means a lot in the face of the unruly and crass customer behavior they recently experienced. Don’t listen to the negative reviews as they are completely unjustified
