Atomic Tattoo and Piercing

Atomic Tattoo was the perfect place for my cousins and I to get tattoos - they were very kind, professional and accommodating from setting appointments to when we arrived onsite to communicating aftercare.We all loved Spicy - he was communicative, helpful in selecting ideal location, and very talented. He created the perfect tattoo for each of us based on our inspiration. He also has excellent music taste and was a lot of fun to spend time with - made getting tattooed a lot less painful!

I’ve received many tattoos from two of the artists at Atomic and gotten my septum and a 3rd lobe piercings over the last year… everyone there is very professional and honestly I can’t find anything bad to say about them… check them out!

This past valentines day I went with my girlfriend to atomic because they had good deals . The place was packed up. So we were waiting and also interacting with other people there . We were asking about the artist. They said there were 3 experienced artists ( only 2 of them had good work) and 2 apprentices. The flash designs we wanted werent from the experiences ones. But my question is why didn’t the manager or owner post on the page that some of artists were apprentices ( yes they are based of their work ). I think is very rude to not let people know about their artists experience before getting work done? I do respect apprentices but I would not get work done from them. I Met other people that had tattoos from the artist there ( apprentices) but they didnt know that they were apprentices they didnt know about the level of experience before getting a tattoo from them, So they got a poor quality tattoos, they made it seem that none of the artists were apprentices but that is not truth at all. I Understand that tattoos cant be perfect for reasons like clients moving , muscle spasms etc. But i would say the tattoo needs to be at least at 98% quality. But those tattoos that have been done and posted are poor quality. You do may need to be an expert to see those shaky lines and poor shading. It’s at 20% quality. Please check each artist work and zoom in the pics before getting some ink from them.

Creation did a wonderful job with my late kittys ink paw prints. I was able to call and schedule an appointment the same day. Super clean shop and great people. Highly recommend!

This is one of cleanest most positive vibe tattoo shops I have ever been to. I love my tat by Aurora and going back to get another by Zoran. Have been impressed by all the artists. Megan is a piercer and is efficient & clean. Woman owned, affirming, and professional. I highly recomment.

Amazing shop. Very friendly people who work so hard to do what you like , I have been to many shops and this one is hands down the best in north Alabama. As a business owner myself I like seeing this in a small shop. I won’t go anywhere else. The service I got was so great, excellent customer service and great tattoo artist! Thank you.

Bubbles did an amazing job and was the sweetest! Cant wait to have her design another one for me in the near future. Store was clean and all staff was wonderful. I have had two other tattoos done at other places but I will definitely be returning here for any future tattoos.

I went in wanting a piercing and having the worst anxiety I think I’ve ever experienced. Megan was so kind and quick. She made me feel right at home and took care of me with such grace. I am now a forever client. I am so appreciative of her and her coworkers!

These humans are AMAZING!! I went in on my birthday for a piercing and a gumball tattoo. Megan was so thorough on the piercing process, didnt judge my colorful language, and was so nice! Bubbles did my tattoo and her personality is so fun! She had me constantly smiling and laughing, we had great conversation, shes not heavy handed, and I absolutely LOVE the piece she did! Spicy was there and even engaged in convo and the woman at the desk (I didnt catch your name, Im sorry!) was even so friendly and sociable! Ive never felt so comfortable and accepted at a tattoo shop before and will definitely be back!

This is a friendly, clean, chill environment where I know I will be taken care of. Creation is great working with their clients, they made sure I was comfortable and offered things to keep me distracted if necessary. I love my tattoo from them and I’m sure I’ll be back in the future.

Absolutely the best piercing experience I have ever had. I am thoroughly pleased with the cleanliness, professionalism, and skill of their piercer, Megan. They use APP approved jewelry, and will order a piece for you if they dont have it in stock. Their prices are fantastic! This shop is also a safe space, run by women and LGBTQ+ people, and the environment is welcoming and friendly. 10/10 !

I have had several tattoos from almost every artist in this shop and they are all very professional and the vibe of this place is awesome. I just want to brag on Spicy though cause he took my creativity and helped me design a The Crow tribute. He took the time to help me implement my ideas to canvas and had a few great suggestions. He also did a phenomenal job!!!

Atomic is the best of the best! I have been to Bubbles and Rori for tattoos. Megan did my vertical labret. Always professional and friendly. They are the best. I highly recommend.

Had a good experience here. Just want to note that they don’t allow extra people in the piercing room. Good to know for any folks expecting to hold a friends hand during their piercing… not here!

Extremely impressed with this shop! Came in a few weeks ago for some piercings with my best friend. First look was how clean and welcoming the space was! We were greeted the moment we walked in. I must say Megan is AMAZING. She did four piercings for me. They were quick and smooth! The level of professionalism and skill was off the charts. If you want any piercings done, I suggested her for sure!Couldn’t walk out the shop without booking a tattoo, tho! I was fortunate enough to book with @RoriJTattoo! I just got my tattoos done and I’m so happy with them!! Rori was so attentive towards what I wanted for my tattoos and always checking in with me during the tatting to make sure I was doing alright. Such a talented and kind artist! I will be booking again with them!This shop is 5/5 for me and I will be a regular here! Amazing shop. The whole crew is friendly. Very queer friendly. The services are too notch and very clean.Megan pierced my ears, and did a brand for me. I believe she is the only one licensed to do so in the southeast.Rori did a lower arm tattoo that is looking great!Ill definitely be back for whatever I want next!

Had a wonderful experience at Atomic. Zoran did my 2nd lobe piercing with the assistance of Megan the owner. The process was quick and virtually painless and appreciated the detailed education on aftercare & healing. Ill definitely be back for more piercings in the future.

Great experience getting my nose pierced. The piercer was knowledgeable and answered all my questions beforehand. The shop is beautiful and so clean. Highly recommend if you are looking for a new piercing.

I went to Atomic Tattoo and Piercing today to get my septum pierced after having it botched at another shop a couple weeks ago. Megan was very professional and very friendly. She was concerned about my previous experience and was thorough with making sure it was something I could even do today. 10/10 recommend and Ill definitely be back in the future.

Have gone here for a few of my piercings and haven’t had a bad experience so far- only criticism is that my anti eyebrow piercing was pierced with a curved barbell rather than a staple barbell which can cause rejection in the future :)

Great staff working there! I went for the Friday 13th tattoo and it was a long wait like I knew it would be, but it was great hanging out with everyone.

I have always been hesitant about getting a tattoo. I got my first one ever from Rori at Atomic, and I could not be happier with my little rocket!
