They have 2 people working and both of them are doing piercing. One should be available to check people out. Will not come back to this one. Waiting 15 minutes to get a gift card. RIDICULOUS

Friday, January 19, 2024Our 3 month old daughter got her ears pierced. Brittany very professional and sanitized everything. The process was quick, simple, and was explained thoroughly. It hurt hearing our daughter cry but honestly within seconds she was laughing and giggling once her daddy grabbed her and hugged her.I definitely recommend Claire’s for ear piercings.

If you are a black or Hispanic person, do not shop at this store. My friends and I were racially profiled and the store manager physically touched me and accused us of stealing, while I am a customer who has spent money here countless times. It’s sad because I love this store but I won’t be returning until the racist manager there is dealt with. I believe her name was Cassandra but she could’ve given us a fake name. This was around 6 pm, 3/28 Tuesday evening.

I definitely recommend getting your ears pierced by Chanel! She was nothing but lovely and accommodating to my young niece who was getting her ears pierced for the first time. She is always a pleasure to be around whenever I stop by the store and she knows how to pick out the right accessories for any occasion. Definitely brightens the mood in the store. 😊

Just got my double helix piercing here the other day. the process was quick and simple and was explained throughly. i’m too scared to go to tattoo shops as the atmosphere doesn’t sit well with me, so this was my second option and i was far more comfortable with it. so far, the piercing is recovering well and i see nothing wrong with it. definitely recommend this place if you are thinking of getting a few more piercings rather than your lobe and want a comfortable environment.

My 10 year old was determined to get her ears pierced. Selena and Amanda were very patient with her. It took multiple attempts. We actually left and returned. They were very gracious and comforted her. Thank you!

It was great to my daughter was able to get some plush stuffed animals and some ear rings of course.The place was exceptionally clean and very well lit.The guy that checkout the order was friendly and helpful as well.😎👍

I went in looking for mermaid theme accessories and the girls there were super helpful! I found the perfect pearl headband and then accidentally dropped it and pearls went everywhere. Hannah, picked the pearls up and glued them back together for me! So grateful for her. Definitely friendliest and caring Claires Ive ever been to!

Shari was fantastic! I brought my 3 and 7year old girls in for ear piercing. The 7 year old lost her nerve upon seeing the 3 year old cry after getting pierced . Shari was so calm through it all. My girl was pretty vocal and hysterical but with Shari’s hell, we got it done! The manager made us feel unwelcome a bit. We were trying to calm the 7 year old and she came over to make sure the 7 year old felt bad for crying. That was uncool. But once again, SHARI ROCKS!

Absolutely HORRENDOUS customer service. I would never recommend this place! Things are falsely labeled as clearance and when the mistake got brought up, the employee ‘Selena’ said in quote “I don’t know what you’d expect me to do, it’s not my fault”The manager Sandy is no help either! I asked for assistance in finding a product and she didn’t even make eye contact with me and walked me over to the tree with the items on it and pointed and walked away!

Im not a fan of how they use a piercing gun for piercing ears. But they do always have great sales. With having twins I usually have to buy 2 of everything so its great when they have their buy 1 get 1 free sales and usually The sales people tend to be nice or you can get the ones that really dont care about their job and just sit at the counter and just watch you do not help you they just watch you.

Took my four year old to Claire’s in Jacksonville Mall (NC) and she was pierced by Sandi. Sandi did a fantastic job and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Would highly recommend this location as a store and for ear piercing. Sandi made the experience a very pleasant one.

The much older employee on 02/19/23 had horrible customer service when it came to checking out. I’ve never seen someone try and make a larger sale by shaming and being disrespectful to someone for not wanting to buy more than one item.

Store is always a mess earrings, rings, bracelets, products mixed up in random places. There are always boxes and trash bags in the way when you look around! Buckets filled with jewelry all around the store. Manager is extremely rude and will argue with you! I would never shop in this specific store, Claire’s in Wilmington is better I would go there instead.

Got my ears pierced for the 3rd time last night, the lady who pierced them was very nice and funny. Store is always very clean and organized. Vibes here in general are always very very nice

I went into Claires today with my four year old daughter. We were looking for a little gift for my youngest. They had free ear piercing, today. So as soon as I walked in, I was informed of the promotion. I politely declined the first individual wearing the long red prom dress with devil horns. She called herself the piercing queen. Then another associate, only two feet from the first, asked if my daughter had her ears pierced. I said no. Then she asked said it was free today. And I said no. Then she pushed asking does she not want her ears pierced? And I told her that I was going to let her decide when she was older. Then she said oh. Do you not want them pierced? . Afterwards I walked throughout the store. I stopped to look at some necklaces and the same pushy individual asked if I needed help. I told her no and thanked her. She continued to stand staring at me for an entire minute. She then started talking to my 4 year old. She asked me if she could have a basket. I saw no harm in that so I said ok. The girl gave my daughter a basket then , no exaggeration, took her to the OPPOSITE side of the store and started putting stuff in the basket for her. What in the ever living hell?! So I went to them to get my child, to leave. And the same chick (dark and short curly hair. Brown eyes, medium skin tone I wish I got her name)....started pushing deals at me. Even when I made it clear I just wanted the item I had. I then get to the cash register and two other girls were there. This other pushy chick came flying around the counter to check me out. Just then other people walked in and she yelled across the store I got you! I will be right there!. One of the girls that was free of customers went to go help the people. And the pushy chick yelled that she was gonna get them. She then started fussing as she checked me out. Fussing because the other girl was doing her job. The pushy chick then asked do you want cute little cat ears with this cat bag? At this time I was searching for my debit card in my bag. For a moment I considered leaving because of how intolerable this girl was. But I wanted the gift for my babys birthday. Politely as I could, but obviously annoyed, I said I dont want to buy anything else. Thanks. One of the other girls, sensing my frustration, asked me how my day was. I replied with an unconvincing its ok. She then said ready to get out of here, huh? I dont normally write reviews. But this girl has no business taking my 4 year old daughter away from me to put a whole bunch of stuff in her basket. Not cool. If I could, I would give this girl a -5. Not going back there again. She needs a lesson in common sense.

I ordered three items online from them. One item came missing a rhinestone, the other came with broken or missing backs to the earrings, and the third never came. Called to see what could be done, but only got a complicated return policy excuse and was told that refunds would come eventually. Very disappointed. Did not renew the same order.

The employees here need some serious re-training on customer service. Jazmine is rude and lacks customer service skills. She also prefers to flirt with her bf or whoever he was than help a paying customer. Jordan wasn’t much better and chose to argue when I tried to return an item that was incorrect instead of trying to correct the issue. Also, don’t correct my daughter for something you seemed to think she was doing wrong. Instead tell me and as her mother I will correct her if I feel it’s necessary. All she was doing was holding the candy I was buying for her and shaking it. If you don’t like noise or children don’t work in a children’s store.

Claires being a chain store with their merchandising being designed at the corporate level you should feel like McDonalds you order a big mac you get a big mac. This store is more like you order a big mac and get a chicken sandwich from Wendys. The store was completely disorganized, staff was bored and annoyed and lack merchandise.

I took my four daughters to get their ears pierced. Their ears were pierced by Sandy. She was patient and kind to my daughters and she took the time to explain to them what she was doing .Great customer service !

A few days ago, I took my 9 months old daughter to get her ears pierced. Sandy was incredible and very knowledgeable 😍 thank you so much.

Shari did my double helix piercing yesterday. She was so sweet and it was completely random. She explained the process and it was over. Quick pinch and I was on my way. Thanks boo

Wouldn’t recommended, had my ears pierced here and wanted her to go through the original holes. Both are way off and the right one comes out at the bottom of my ear so it stands straight up

Youll probably end up getting dragged here if you own a girlfriend or teenage daughter. Ear rings, scrunchies, stuffed animals, all that jazz. Pretty good deals going on.

My daughters love this place. They offer military discounts and a decent clearance section. Cute stuff!
