I was very nervous about how my idea would look, but graham EXCEEDED my expectations. A memorial tattoo for my father came out way better than I would’ve imagined. Graham sure does know how to take your ideas and turn them into something beautiful. Thank you for everything you do! Will be coming back !!!

By far the best tattoo studio I have ever been to, I see Graham and have for the last 5 years or so for all of my work. He is outstanding and so talented!! He puts so much thought into all of his work to make it a more personalized piece. I am approached everywhere I go by people wanting to know where I go. I have two full sleeves all grey and black and a couple others he has done. I am told they look natural, and like paintings. Always a happy customer! Went here last June for my 1st tattoo after hearing nothing but good things and I have to say that as far as 1st tattoo experiences go, it couldnt have gone better. Graham was great and took my ideas and made them into a design that I absolutely love.Ill definitely be going back to 8th day for future work and my wife is looking into getting her tattoo done here soon too.

Had J do my first tattoo for me, It was a great experience overall and he gave me a lot of confidence in the styling and choice and placement. J was also patient when we had to redo the stencils about 3 times because the pull of the skin warped the design but we got it right in the end and it looks amazing. Im very happy with this experience, and plan to go back to the shop again.

Was in town for work and decided I needed some ink therapy. Visited 8th day and discussed some designs with Jay. He was honest and actually gave his thoughts and opinions which I appreciated. Came back the next day and got exactly what I wanted. Very professional and just might be my favorite tattoo ever...and I have a lot! Would definitely recommend and get another one the next time I visit Jacksonville! Thank you Jay!!

I decided to get a full sleeve of an underwater scene with Tim Herbert. I was charged $120 an hour and after about 5 sessions and $2,800 (tipped well), about half way through the sleeve, the artist seemed to have lost interest in doing the work and I never got it finished. His work went from good to mediocre at best. He seemed to take his time to try and milk me for as much money as possible. Im having to fork out another 600 bucks elsewhere to fix his work and finish the job. A great start with a horrible finish

I came to 8th Day to get my first tattoo done by my best friends brother in law and it was the coolest experience! Not only did they treat me with great customer service, and make me feel comfortable about the whole process, my tattoo artist did a phenomenal job drawing up my tattoo! Jay killed it with the details, black and white shading, and the choice of colors he picked - my first tattoo is amazing! I am going back this weekend to get started on my second tattoo and I would definitely recommend Jay Lazer and 8th Day Tattoo to anyone who wants excellent quality AND great customer service.

This place is great! My girlfriend and I both decided get our first tattoos here and we weren’t disappointed! Jay was our artist and he was spot on with everything we wanted! We will definitely be returning!

I didnt have any modifications done here, but I sent off a message on their website which Tim answered. I was inquiring about vegan inks in various local tattoo shops, and he was helpful and pleasant, so I intended on coming here for my next tattoo. When I did come by with a friend, he was working on a customer in the back [I have to say, I hate the layout of the store], so another guy talked to me.What I wanted was three lines of script on the side of my ribs. No fluff, no extra details, just the words. He was polite, but he tried to convince me that since the lines are straight, they wont look good on the ribs, since theyre curved, and that putting the quote on a scroll would look better. Even if he was right, the scroll wouldnt do ANYTHING to help the appearance of my tattoo. He didnt have vegan-safe supplies so he told me to go to Walgreens and pick up a vegan-safe lubricant and hed knock that off the price.I didnt come back. I knew what I wanted for a year before I came in, and Im not going to be told that it isnt good enough. A few months ago, I got part of it done, and it looks beautiful without the scroll.

Graham was my artist. First tattoo and it was a 15 hour doozie. Graham knocked it out of the park. Its been 2 yrs and it gets compliments regularly. This place is AA++. Graham is the man.

I wanted to get my youngest son’s name added to my arm next to his brother’s and the artist touched up my others son’s name without charging me. I didn’t expect that. Awesome service 👍

Very rude. I came in there asking questions about a half sleeve and asking for ideas and the artists basically made me feel stupid about my sleeve. Didnt help me at all. Very short and snarky comments you could clearly see he wanted nothing to do with my piece. Will NEVER go back.
