Raphael was absolutely amazing!!! I booked an appointment for an hour and a half, I told him everything that I wanted and he told me it will be about three hours. No hesitation, he checked if he was booked after me, saw he wasn’t and was happy to make all my tattoos come to life. I couldn’t be happier, he was so kind and friendly. He was honest with me about my placement and that I should get it somewhere else and he was completely right. He did the best tattoos that I have. Both of my pieces were memorial pieces for my father and I wanted them to be perfect and he did exactly that. I have never been happier. I was looking for piercing removal services and Google suggested Fat Kats. It was just minutes away from home and easy to locate. When I walked in I could smell the cleanliness which is a plus for me. The visual of the shop was organized and clean. I was greeted by Misty and she was available to assist me. The process was quick and easy. Misty gave great customer service, she was interactive and was able to have a pleasant conversation. She shared some related information in regards to the service I was receiving and it was nice to receive her feedback. Go check out Misty and her team, you will not be disappointed.

Lovely shop nice experience, So I basically lost my dermal chest earring. the owner of the shop Misty Dawn Easily popped one right back on within seconds...on the house cause I was super paranoid lol She easily calmed me dwn n did the job quick and easy!!! Misty recently performed some tapering on my earlobes to accommodate the stunning earrings my husband brought back from India. She also pierced my helix and Daith two years ago, and they’ve healed perfectly. Additionally, she did my nose piercing three years ago, and it still looks amazing. Misty has also pierced my two daughters earlobes and my oldest daughters helix. I wouldnt trust anyone else—she’s truly the best!

I chose this shop to get my helix pierced because it had great reviews. Even a friend recommended it. However, I had a 0 star worthy experience. I didn’t make an appointment, just walked in. Front desk man was rude as can be. I wish I caught his name but he was a middle aged, white man. You could tell he thought I was lying about being 18 and gave me some attitude. Lone behold, that was my piercer! I should have ran at this point but I was set on getting the piercing done that day. I did not do any research about helix piercings before this so I trusted that the man knew what was right. He asked hoop or stud, gold or silver. Of course I said gold hoop.. a mistake on my part but he allowed it. He did not show me the jewelry before he put it in. Then proceeded to drop the ball for the “hoop” about 10 times. He pierced it with a horseshoe looking earring (the ones for septum’s). Not the look I was going for and I was disappointed but I didn’t really care. He told me to wash it with antibacterial soap and I was good to go. I got nervous at checkout and accidentally tipped too much making the piercing come out to $100 total. The piercing formed a bump, turned purple, and continued to ooze for about 1-2 months. Today I was fed up and went to a local shop. The piercer took the earring out and was astonished to see that it was made of trash material. The gold and finish had started to come off in my ear It was as this new piercer said “Spencer’s buy one get two free clearance quality jewelry.” And apparently you are supposed to use saline solution to wash your fresh piercing not antibacterial soap. I assume it is different for every piercer like it is for every tattoo artist but still. Will never be going back to Fat Kat.

After going to multiple shops, I found the perfect place for my piercing removal. Misty was the sweetest and kindest ever, she provided such a good excellent customer service and very professional. I felt so relieved as soon as she took the piercing out, thanks to her I can go back to work! (lol) thank you so much Misty Dawn wish you the best!!!!

I have gotten almost ALL my piercings here. Misty is gentle, kind and sweet! Chris is hilarious and makes the piercing seem like a friend is doing it. I have gotten 2 tattoos here and my experience was nothing short of phenomenal. I am always greeted when I enter and the artist are ready with new, creative ideas and styles. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I would never get pierced any where else.

Kaitlin was amazing! It was my first tattoo so I was a little nervous , she was very communicative with the whole process! I love the placement and how it turned out I’ll definitely be back to get another tattoo from her.Although the man at the front desk was pretty abrasive and passive aggressive. I miss heard a question he asked and his response was kind of rude just caught me off guard.

I cannot overstate how wonderful misty is. I got snake bite piercings. She checked on me throughout the piercing. When I needed a longer bar she immediately fit me in her schedule.Today, i somehow bit my piercing so hard it broke. She immediately got me in and fixed it. The pricings are amazing. One of the cheapest in the areas will also feel extremely professional.

Okay, so as of today i have visited fat kat for two piercings and both times, it has been a great experience! i got my bellybutton done back in february (its healing beautifully) and i got my conch done earlier today. i was diagnosed with a few conditions that make my blood pressure and heart rate change very quickly upon standing, and they accommodated that extremely well, even taking extra precautions to make sure i would be okay! my piercing barely hurt (both times) and i love the energy they have here.we came in a pretty big group, all wanting piercings, and they didnt even bat an eyelash at it and we all left very happy with our new piercings!i genuinely dont think i can say enough good about this shop. they are really, truly amazing.

First time I came here, I had a bad experience with one of the piercers who seemed condescending and annoyed when I asked questions so I was hesitant to visit again but Misty Dawn was an absolute angel. She is so kind, helpful, and gets you through the piercing process like a snap of the fingers. I got my third lobes done and she was extremely professional, answered my questions, and was very sweet. I had no idea she had pierced me until it was over. She is fantastic and her work is amazing.

Yesterday I got my belly button repierced which I I was very nervous about considering it was my most painful piercing I’ve gotten. I had Chris and he mad it super smooth and almost painless I was shocked. It was also only $60! The scenery is beautiful and it is very clean I highly suggest this place!!

Took my daughter to Fat Kat for a piercing. First impression walking into the business it look and smells very clean. Smells like a sterile field. I work in a dental practice so I was very impressed by that. We were greeted immediately. Misty is who we had an appointment with. Super friendly, kind, gave great instructions for before and after the piercing. Over all 10/10 experience will definitely recommend.

Will probably never go to another place to get piercings and will always reccomend here. i got my first second ear lobes redone by kaitlin and she went above and beyond to make sure they were even and symmetrical as i had a problem with that the first time i got them done. i got my septum and navel done here as well within the past year (i can’t remember who did them) but they have healed amazing and i have had minimal issues with them. yall are the best 🫶

The tattoo I received here was picked out from Kaylies flash sheet. She claimed to have drawn it herself.I learned after I got tattooed that she did not design this tattoo. The tattoo is from Minari tattoo, a non-American tattoo artist who only does commission work. That means that Kaylie is saying that someone elses unique commissioned artwork is her own.She unfortunately did not execute it with the same amount of skill as the original artist. The other tattoo artists seem wonderful, but do know that Kaylie is passing off traced artwork as her own, and does not have similar talent to the artists she is copying. You can see my tattoo has simplified details, and that there is a stray line on the brim of the hat.

My daughter and I had our noses pierced for her bday. Misty is phenomenal! I was nervous about getting my nose pierced, and she talked me thru it. It was over before I knew it. She was personable and provided great customer service.

I got a double helix piercing by Misty and it was such a great experience! Misty was so sweet, kind and made me feel very comfortable and I absolutely love my piercing! I will definitely be coming back for more in the future!

Misty is amazing! She’s sweet, kind and always helpful. She helped me a few months ago with getting a hoop put in. I went back today for a change out because I was getting a keloid due to the hoop. Misty got me hooked up with a new piercing and it’s already looking so much better! She taught me how to treat it and educated me on what causes the keloids. Everyone there at the shop is always nice too. 100% recommend!

My piercer was Misty and I got both nostrils as well as my septum done.Wverythinga was fast and clean. The periecings werent painful (not too painful but with every pericing you will feel something.) Misty was incredibly sweet as well. The whole place is beautiful and welcoming, as is all the staff. Thank you Misty you did a wonderful job.

The place is in a kind of scary area but inside was a very clean shop! The people who worked there were very friendly and helpful! Would go back! Only during the day though lol.We just bought a septum ring for my friend and prices vary!

Today I went in and got a daith piercing with Misty. She was so so great! She answered all of my questions and was so patient with figuring out which jewelry would work for me. Will definitely be back if I decide to get any more!!

The piercer isn’t bad although he said to clean with antibacterial soap instead of saline, they just pierce with regular butterfly back jewelry here which is not good AT ALL for healing piercings. Not the best quality looking jewelry that they pierced with too.

Had a cover up done with Chris Gleason. He turned an old tattoo with bad memories attached to it into a gorgeous set of peonies. You cant even tell its a coverup, it looks that good. So, for the past three years, Ive been going to Fat Kats to get my piercings done. And let me tell you, its been an absolutely amazing experience! Both Misty and Chris have always taken great care of me, and have given me the best advice on the pros and cons of my piercings, how long it takes to heal, how to take care of it, etc. Theyve always been super friendly, and always make me feel at ease. I know for a fact that they genuinely care about their clients, and thats why I always recommend Fat Kat to all my friends and acquaintances who are looking for a great piercing experience.

My tattoo was supposed to be a combination of two, my dogs paw print and cherry blossoms with areas of fading. The result wasn’t what I expected. There was no defined outline and no fading, and the cherry blossoms, look more like a rose.

Fat Kat helped me out in a pinch!! I had lost the back of my earring after getting a helix at a different piercing place, and Misty Dawn was very helpful in giving me a replacement - at no charge. Very helpful and very sweet. I will definitely see her for my next piercing.5 ☆☆☆☆☆

My wife had her septum clicker STUCK. We called the Fat Kat and talked to Misty who was available and told us to come by immediately. In less than a minute after sitting down she had the piercing out. Misty was super sweet and helpful, go check her out!!

This is a clean, professional shop. They are open 7 days a week and always have a piercer and tattoo artist on-site. I went in because I had pulled out my freshly pierced nostril piercing and needed it re-inserted. Misty was so friendly and did a fantastic job. It hurt, of course , but her smile made it so much better. I will definitely be back!!

I was at Fat Kat Inquiring for a price for a tattoo and I was rudely told by a lady to leave now and that the tattoo artist Raphael is not there . At this point I can go to a different tattoo shop because I don’t like to be screamed at by people when I’m I’m paying for great service and y’all don’t have to worry about me every coming back. Terrible customer service. The lady could’ve said it better but she was very nasty and rude. 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Unfortunately i have had nothing but bad experiences with my piercings from fat kat. i loved my piercer personally, she was very kind, so after the first piercing healed nightmarishly i ignored the red flags and went back. once the next piercing was such a horrible experience, and a friend had an awful experience too, i knew that it wasn’t me. the wrong jewelry was used causing my piercing to swell around the ball of my jewelry, this caused an immense amount of pain and damage to my ear. the cavity that was opened in my ear after the ball was stuck became infected no matter what i did or how much i cleaned it. since going to fat kat i have had to go to the doctor to have them remove the ball of my jewelry from under my skin and had to return to the doctor for prescription antibiotics to relieve the immense pain and damage to the skin of my ear. it’s unfortunate because i did love the customer service aspect of the shop but at the end of the day my body comes first, and two bad experiences personally and multiple bad experiences told to me by friends really sadden me and make me regret my choice to come to the shop in the first place.

Went to Fat Kat as a walk in today because my took piercing fell out and I needed help with getting the ring back in. The woman at the front desk was friendly and let me know that they could help but it’d be a $10 fee. That was fine with me so I proceeded to wait while the piercer was helping another customer. When it was my turn to be seen, Chris G helped me with getting my piercing back in. He was very professional, friendly, and quick. The studio was also very clean. When I asked him how much, he told me it was on the house, which really made my day! I will definitely refer someone here in the future

I just recently came in for a cover up of some scars and Katilyn and I worked together to create this beautiful piece I designed and she added her own spice to it and I almost cried when we were done it was amazing. My dreams had become reality. The other two (I forgot their names) were chatting with me across the room and making me laugh while we were talking about plans and how stuff has been going. I will only come here from now on and forever. I absolutely adore everyone who works here you guys are the real mvps!! ❤️❤️Not to mention that everything in this facility is spotless, it’s immaculate. I went to Fat Kat Tattoo for nipple piercings and the lady who took care of me (Misty) helped me tremendously. She explained everything that I needed to be aware of when getting nipples pierced and answered all my questions and was very patient taking her time to explain to me all my choices. She even helped me relax and my anxiety went away, she did an amazing job! And even though the pain was real I would do it all over again as long as she is the one taking care of me! Accurate and professional 5 star!

I went for their Friday the 13th special and had an awesome tattooist by the name of Tom. He was quick and the tattoo is beautiful. Ive now decided to do a whole villain set and cant wait to have him complete it.

I just went in and Misty was helping me, she was very kind and helped me with all my needs. This was the best piercing experience ever. When i thought the piercing was too big she helped me pick out a smaller one that was exactly fit for me. She knew what would fit my face and went out of her way to help. I have gotten a lot of facial piercings over the years (10+) and every time I would get a piercing in my cartilage I would get a piercing bump with it. Kaitlin recently pierced my nose for me and this is the first time EVER that I haven’t had a single issue. No pain, the swelling went down quick, and no piercing bump. Chris is the absolute WORST. I don’t understand how this place have a 4+ stars rating with someone like Chris working there, not to mention all these negative comments about Chris (I should have paid attention). The man was literally sitting there talking to another artist and told my niece he was backed up and very busy. She made an appointment. If you didn’t want the business, he should have just said so. This was supposed to be an experience with my niece since I’m in town visiting and I had to just forget about my own appointment because it was scheduled with Chris. The man is disrespectful and plain rude. Avoid this place!!!

I got my first nose piercing here with Misty, everybody was really nice and the process was very quick while she still explained exactly what she was going to do and what I needed to do as far as after care. My nerves were quickly smoothed over by the efficient process, also the prices are very reasonable. Definitely would come back for my next piercing!

Had an appointment today at Fat Kat to get my nipples pierced. Employees were nice and shop was very clean. Chris did my piercings. I was a little nervous at first but he made me very comfortable. Have to admit... Didnt really hurt at all.

This is my 3rd time coming here for a piercing. I Just wanted to commemorate my trip to Florida for Daughter’s 21st birthday. I’m not sure why the ink is spreading under the skin. I noticed that the dashing is uneven. It’s been 4 days and I just took the plastic off. Over all not really happy this is how it looks now. It looks like shading around the line work.

Very friendly staff. I had an appointment with Frank and he took a minute to come and greet me while he finished up another customer. Frank covered up two old pieces with one larger piece and he met and exceeded my expectations! I will be back!

I got my snake bites done by misty in early December and she did a phenomenal job. She was very sweet and understanding and even helped my mom surprise me for my birthday with this piercing (I thought I was getting my eyebrow done) she is some of the best service I have experienced anywhere even outside of the piercing industry. When I decide to get more piercings she will 100% be the one I go to! I also recommend to anyone who wants to get a piercing done to go to her!

This is kind of overdue but I had to take my septum piercing out for a surgery and couldnt get the jewelry back in myself so I saw Misty Dawn and she was the sweetest piercer ever. Really made me feel/look more like myself it meant the world how sweet and comforting she was. I have a bunch of piercing but definitely if youre looking for your first she is amazing!

It’s unfortunate that people with such talent can work with such unprofessionalism. It’s sad that they probably won’t even reflect on this review or the feedback of their clients, since there is a blatant disrespect for others within this establishment. My friend got a beautiful tattoo by Raphael, who was incredibly nice, kind, and talented. If he worked independently or for another shop, I’d be willing to drive the 5 hours to Jacksonville from my hometown just to have him as a regular artist.The problem is with the artist Chris, who is so unbelievably unprofessional and crude that it’s impressive he’s employed. While waiting for our friend who was getting her tattoo, another one of my friends, who has horrible anxiety, decided to get her navel pierced (her first piercing). There weren’t any clear rules on whether or not clients were allowed to have company/support while getting pierced, so she asked if she could have one of us in the room with her. Before she could even finish her sentence, Chris borderline yelled “absolutely not” and stormed off, making a face as he left to set-up. Now that she was more nervous and no longer felt she could trust him with her body, she changed her mind and apologized for wasting his time but no longer wanted the piercing. He sarcastically told her “sorry we have rules” and stormed off again. Our friend was almost in tears over the interaction, which had been completely unprofessional and rude for no reason. A simple “sorry, we don’t allow that” would’ve sufficed and she still would’ve gone through with the piercing. Instead, he chose to be rude to someone who was already afraid.After trying to address this with Chris after our friend was done with her tattoo, he laughed at us and sarcastically offered to shake hands as a congratulations for sticking up for others. He mocked us for being rightfully upset that someone ruined a first piercing experience for someone who already struggles with anxiety and did not deserve to be snapped at for a simple question.For a business that boasts on their website that they “want to make their customers feel comfortable during their piercing experience” and “offer a safe and professional environment”, Chris is the epitome of what to avoid when running a business. There’s not even a point to writing this, as he’s probably just going to read and laugh. If anything, this is just to tell people to avoid coming here solely to spare yourselves the misfortune of having an interaction with Chris.If you’re looking for smooth, beautiful work and kind customer service, go to Raphael. If you’re looking for a jackass to make your friends cry and mock you for not being miserable and taking it out on others, go to Chris.

Got a septum done by Misty! Very sweet, quick and professional. Was nervous at first as it was the first piercing I ever gotten by myself but after talking to her, I got over it quickly. Very informative and I was there in and out. Nice, clean and welcoming atmosphere inside and everyone else was friendly. Love my new piercing and would definitely come back in the future!

This establishment didn’t meet our expectations. When we entered, it seemed like we were completely overlooked despite the doorbell ringing and three of us walking in. Chris’s attitude came across as passive-aggressive. My daughter, who had been eagerly looking forward to revisiting this place where she had her piercing done last year, left feeling quite disappointed.

Came in as a walk-in for a septum piercing and I was super impressed! Everything was super clean, the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable, and I was in and out pretty quickly. Misty was a great piercer and as a person with anxiety she made me feel super comfortable. She walked me through each step and my piercing looks great!

Got my nose pierced by Misty. Had it pierced with a stud. Went back after a few months of healing to get a change out to a hoop. It was a size larger than I wanted. She pointed me to a site to find the hoop I wanted. I came back with the new hoop to get another change out. Everything was super fast and easy! So I’m from out of town and had an appointment with Raphael (Filipe) for fine line letter handwriting of my favorite song and it turned out beautiful. Absolute amazing experience with him, he’s so talented, kind, and gave me great advice about my design. I would absolutely travel again to book with Raphael if I was in the area (he deserves the five stars for a rating), however I came with friends and one was interested in a walk in piercing and assigned to Chris, who is the reason for this low star rating. Every interaction with Chris was very unpleasant and rude, uncalled behavior towards my friend who eventually backed out of getting the piercing and was almost in tears. Then when confronted with his behavior, was passive aggressive and more rude to our group while finding it funny we were sticking up for our friend. So yeah, it’s unfortunate that the establishment I would very likely return to has someone like that a part of their team.If you do come here Raphael is amazing and talented artist, you’ll leave the place highly satisfied with his work. Avoid Chris if you’re lucky.

I came in from Georgia to accompany my newly 18 year old granddaughter to Fat Kat. I was impressed with how comfortable she was made to feel before, during, and even after her experience. Very professional and personal able staff.

Walk in, concept in mind of what I wanted. Laura was great to work with, and patient with my requests and specifics. She let me know pricing once we had stencils sized and ready, I had a maximum price in mind and she was very generous with her pricing for the work. Great atmosphere overall, great crew who you can tell work together and watch out for one another. I would recommend Laura and Fat Kat for any future tattoos or piercings! The space and each artist (including their piercer) kept things very very clean in between appointments and during down time.

Came in for a walk in piercing and Chris(i believe is his name. he is a man with a large beard and several tattoos) was very rude. I just wanted to ask about if Id be able to have a friend for support during the piercing and he says Absolutely not! while walking away from me. I thought it was a joke at first because he walked away without explaining the rules in place. The interaction made me nervous with this being my first piercing and they didnt have the metal i wanted for my piercing, so I decided to back out and apologized for wasting his time. He responded Okay. Sorry we have rules in a very not kind tone. I wish the interaction ended there and that I could say it was a clash of personalities but it got worse. My friends tried to say something about how it wasnt very good service and how it negatively impacted a piercing that I otherwise wouldve been excited for with without people on the room with me. He responded by mocking my friends saying things like Aweee youre standing up for your friend? and making fun of their hand motions while speaking. I wouldve been a-okay if he had said in a kinder tone No, Im sorry we cant because of the rules. but his behavior did NOT make me feel safe with him and his reaction I think only reaffirms that I was right to back out.

Went about two weeks ago and got my nose pierced. Im not sure of her name but she did a great job at the piercing. Its healed better than any of my other piercings. She was very professional and everything was clean and sterile and done right. Im going back for future piercings/tattoos. This is the only place Im going to in Jacksonville!

I came in for a septum piercing about a year ago. The piercer was a heavily tatted older man with a white beard. Very off vibes. While he pushed the needle through my septum, he said that he pierced the wrong spot and it had to be re-pierced. At this point, there is blood and tears streaming down my face and after he had pierced it a second time, he lifted my chin up and made a gross remark about how the blood on my face made me look better. Super unprofessional experience all around, and they gave me no aftercare instructions whatsoever. My septum later got infected and I have had to retire it. Don’t waste your time- go to Peacock’s up the street!

We went to Fat Kat to get our 9 year old daughters ears pierced for the first time. It was such a wonderful experience. Misty went above and beyond to make her feel safe and comfortable, explaining what she was doing the entire time. She is a wealth of knowledge on piercings and gave us very specific to dos and what NOT to do. The shop is very clean and I would highly recommend anyone looking for a piercing to go see Misty. My daughter had her 19th birthday tattoo here. The shop is clean and the employees are very professional. I was a little bummed over the covid rule of not being able to be with her during her appointment, but I also respect the owner’s decision to do what they think is best for their private business. I was able to sit in the lobby and see her through zooming in on my phone. Her tat was drawn by her older sister and the artist perfected a few lines in the drawing and executed this piece of art to a beautiful tattoo! It took a while, so I decided to join in the fun and get a nose piercing! We will be back!

First the online booking system is great. So easy and convenient. I got a tattoo done by Kaitlin and have no complaints. She was very kind, informative, and the tattoo looks amazing. I have been going to this shop for over 2 years now for piercings and tattoos. I have gotten most of my piercings from Misty. She is amazing, I almost passed out during a piercing, and she gave me Capri sun. When I had two piercings that were trying to reject, she was so helpful by taking them out when I couldnt and helping me bandage them up. I have gotten tattoos from several artists at this shop but will always love Edwin the most. He has done over 30 tattoos for my patchwork sleeve and we are on the journey to hopefully finishing it next month and then starting my other arm soon. It is the BEST shop in Jax, and I recommend anyone to come here no matter, the customer service from the employees is out of this world!!

I got my septum piercing done by Misty Dawn and she was fantastic. I was so scared to get it done because this was my first facial piercing and she really made sure I was ready and comfortable. Its been about four days since I got it done. Its healing seemingly great. I havent ran into any issues so far. Very happy with the service I got there.

Called and asked of they accepted walk-ins and was told yes. Got there 20 mins later and they acted like I was bothering them to discuss what was wanted. They were rude and unfriendly. The guy would have rather been hanging out in his phone than make some money. Dont waste your time here!

Everyone was so friendly and welcoming right off the bat, got me in super quickly, and Chris did an amazing job. He was very professional, kind, and made me feel a lot less nervous. Some tattoo shops can of course not be the classiest places so I’m always nervous about going somewhere new, but that was definitely not the case here and I loved everything about the experience!

My friend and I came in today to get piercings done. She was incredibly nervous, but Tom did a great job of easing her through the process. He was cracking jokes and made things fun. I wanted an old piercing re-done and he was actually able to stretch the existing hole without having to re-pierce it - saving me money. The shop was also very clean and the other staff were nice as well. 10/10 would recommend!

Made an appointment about 1-2 weeks before yesterday. Then when I arrived yesterday I was told I needed a birth certificate with a notary and both mine and my parents ID. I had a notary and my father and I both had our ID but that did not matter in this case. I’ve gotten both my nose piercing and stomach tattoo done here and the birth certificate wasn’t needed. But now for a navel piercing it is? I do understand however they should go through this thoroughly and not be such an A hole when talking to customers. Drove 30 minutes for nothing.

I booked an appointment for 4 pm upon arrival I was told that my artist did not do color and was told to come back at 9pm then she askedhat I wanted , when I told her she said thats a little to much for today so well just do part of it today. (All I wanted was a 2 *2 Jaguar head ). I didnt go back

Still having trouble due to my nostril being pierced with the incorrect gauge. This was a couple years ago but I was reassured it was industry standard afterward, only to find i had let my nose heal on the completely wrong size, and now they just don’t sell jewelry that size. So im still going through trying to size down but it seems like this will be a permanent issue for me. Gaping hole in my nose. Make SURE they’re not using 16g on your nostril.

I had a tattoo done by Ed and my nipples pierced by Chris. Excellent shop got us in and out quickly both times. With my tattoo I gave Ed my idea and he put pen to paper and drew it up himself. It was a memorial tattoo for my grandma and he did amazing. Chris was great working with me. Took good care of me between each piercing and was very professional throughout. Highly recommend Fat Kat tattoo and piercing.

I really loved my experience there! It was my first tattoo and I didn’t know what to expect in terms of pain. But it wasn’t bad at all! The establishment was VERY clean and I was delighted to see just how cautious they were about cleanliness. The staff were very professional and nice and I felt right at home. I was coming in for a septum and was thrown off to learn that the piercer I scheduled an appointment with online was not the one to pierce me when I came in. I got an email the day before stating that I had an appointment with Misty Dawn, and wasn’t given prior communication that I’d be seen by someone else. Because the piercer I scheduled my appointment with was a woman and I learned the day of that the person who would be actually piercing me was male, it created a lot of discomfort for me, especially for it being my first piercing. I wish I could have been informed before. This could also be due to capacity, but when asked if my sibling could join me in the room that I was being pierced in, my piercer didn’t allow it, thus creating more discomfort. The piercing itself was quick and efficient. I also received different aftercare instructions from my piercer, the slip that the piercer gave me, and the person I spoke on the phone with so I had a lack of clarity for something very important.

I had a pretty poor experience here with Chris. I got tattooed by him and multiple times he ignored a simple request to take something out and tried to add something in the place of what i requested to be taken out. In the end, he did take it out but completely missed another part of the tattoo in which it needed to be taken out as well and unfortunately i didn’t notice until it was on my body permanently. He was rude throughout the experience and on top of messing up a pretty large spot of the tattoo, also talked me out of getting the tattoo where i want for “artistic” purposes when in reality, it seems to be more that he lacked the skill to do details in a normal sized tattoo and needs to make things larger than they need to be in order to get details that other artists could fit in usually.

Kaitlin has done ALL of the tattoos I have and I will continue to see her for as long as I can! She is so so so patient with the sketching and editing process as well as placement. It’s a permanent thing and she’s so understanding and helpful when it comes to finding the perfect tattoo and the perfect spot! She’s very detail oriented so if it’s not right, she’ll make it right! Highly recommend this place!

They were fast, courteous, and affordable. Raphael was the one who did mine. Its not complicated or anything but i saw his line work and Im not disappointed. If/when i need a tattoo again, ill definitely be going there.

I got my Septum pierced by Edwin. He talked me through the process. HE made sure I was ok before I got up. The woman with the blue hair shaved at the bottom held my hand for comfort. I Recommend this shop for any piercings. WILL RETURN!!! And Misty is the woman!!!!! Thank you for everything!!! The piercing feels and looks awesome!!!!!

Got my septum pierced here yesterday. Unfortunately I didnt catch the name of the gentlemen who did my piercing but he was aweome. He made me feel at ease and the process itself was painless.

I got my nipples pierced a week ago by Misty. She greeted me with a huge smile and immediately made me feel comfortable.(I was obviously nervous going in) She was very professional and went through all of the aftercare, talked me through the entire process and answered any questions I had. She did an incredible job, from placement to just talking me through it, Even gave me some candy afterwards lol. I was in and out and she didn’t let me think about it. She was just sooo great! I highly recommend her for all your piercing needs!!

Took my daughter in for our mother daughter tattoos. We Had been speaking with the tattoo artists for a couple weeks explaining what we wanted. We arrived 30 min early (we live in Camden County which takes a while to get there). We were not asking to be seen immediately.. just wanted to make sure we were on time. The lady that was supposed to be tattooing my daughter was VERY rude about the fact that we even came in the doors early... Stating in front of my daughter that we would just be waiting for her to go get her lunch and eat in peace... Mind you they had only been open for an hour. like I said I KNOW we were early and were willing to wait. The attitude was VERY off putting. The other one that was doing my tattoo racially profiled saying she pretty much didnt believe my daughter was my daughter ,( Im white...shes brown) She stated she wanted to see divorce decree showing my name change... We were never married... Although I had her minor paper filled out and notorized and she had her ID. The pictures we sent her was NOTHING like what she had drawn out. We wanted a vine wrapped around our lower leg with shading...she drew out 2 long stem roses tangled together. They both REALLY acted like they didnt even want to do the tattoos and we were bothering them. We walked out and will definitely never be back..
