If I could leave 10 stars…. I would😉😅. Chaz is beyondddd AMAZING! We did three, 8 hour sessions. He finished all the gaps in both of my arms sleeves & then we started on the leg & omg I’m so happy. I’m moving away to another state & I needed someone great to finish these before I left. Apart of the appointments he did 2 coverups flawlessly & finished my unfinished knee tattoo. Pics attached🙂. Sammie did my second nostril piercing and my first nipple piercing!! She’s such a sweet person, gave super clear written instructions on how to take care of them, the size and gauge of the jewelry, and when to come back for downsizing! She’s the absolute sweetest and I’ll be getting all my piercings done by her from now on!!

Sammie is the BEST piercer and is an absolute doll! Gavin did a bomb job on a little olive branch banger- and it seems as though the other artists are uniquely talented as well! I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a piercing or a tattoo :)

Sammie does amazing piercings, did my vertical labret a while back, and recently did a double nostril. Very comfortable experience with both. Also did a double eyebrow on my sister, and she loves it! Very friendly and knowledgeable with aftercare as well. Also, she made sure everything was properly santized, which was very much appreciated. Will be back. :)

Best place to get tattoos that ive ever been too, theyre knowledgeable and damn good at their job. Gavin managed to fit me and a friend in on short notice and the tats came out great. Afterwards he discussed the best ways of taking care of the tattoos, from recommending products and routines to informing us of how the tattoo might heal wrong if not mantained. All around 5 stars everytime I come through

Selena was so friendly and nice during my piercing. She gave me really thorough aftercare instructions for my septum and I loved the size of jewelry she used. I barely felt a pinch when she did it and it looks sooo good. Cant wait to come back!

Decided to get my nose pierced and after much research, inkstainz was the best solution with my work schedule. Sammie was a delight to work with. She was friendly and polite for my first piercing. She gave clear aftercare instructions. Would highly recommend.

Ive been coming here a few times and have noticed the piercer has ran out of supplies with no other communication other than telling you when you get there, maybe a post on insta letting people know youre out of something at that time so people arent wasting their time going to a place thats unprepared. i was there a couple weeks ago for piercings and the piercer told me she didnt have mouthwash and to come back the next day just for her to be off and didnt tell me when she knew i was expecting to see her tomorrow. she told me to message her on Instagram the night i came so i would be at the top of her messages so she could message me back and didnt reply for 2 days when i had to ask what happened because it was a complete waste of my time and it has now been a week since ive sent my last message expressing annoyance of no notice when i was told to come back expecting her to be there. will likely not be coming back for piercings but the shop is overall clean and welcoming and i may come back for a tattoo at some point but Ive been really disappointed with my experience

This review is about a year overdue… After multiple failed piercing experiences at other shops, I came across Sammi from a Friday the 13th piercing deal & between her energy & her quickness I have stuck with her. I went from going for a Friday the 13th deal to trusting her with piercings she has never done & she will never disappoint. I mean, after all, she watched a couple videos with no detail on chin piercings & pierced my chin free handed & it came out perfect.

Sammie was amazing! Me and my boyfriend went to get our $20 piercing they do on Fridays and Saturdays and Sammie was a delight! Not only was she super prepared for us by making sure we already had napkins and q-tips before starting, she asked me what i preferred for my piercing. Most places don’t give you reassurance when getting pierced but not this place, Inkstainz and Sammie make sure you’re fully taken care of. If i could give 10 stars i would.

Sammie was AMAZINGGGG. Ink stainz has $20 basic piercings on Friday & Saturday and I have been dying to come. Today, I finally made it and Sammie hooked me up! She explained all of the paperwork, which was super fast since I was a walk-in. She made sure she washed her hands prior to putting her gloves on and then got started. She did it fast and painless!! She also did a great job at explaining the aftercare, what to use, how often to clean and everything. Definitely coming back!!

Very friendly, clean, welcoming environment. Highly recommend Colby, we have had several tattoos done here in the last few years and we have NOT been disappointed!2 1/2 years later and I’m still getting compliments on my tattoo and still looks super clean, and fresh. Took my son here tonight and he loves his first ever tattoo and is very pleased and we will be back again.

Sammie is amazing! She pierced my labret and septum so gently and quickly while being so chill. She made us feel so comfortable and was hilarious the whole time. She passed the vibe check for sure. Everyone in the shop was cool and the shop itself was clean and professional. We will be back!!

I typically dont leave the good reviews, but Sammie deserves her flowers!! Customer Service Skills 10000/10. I was so awkward and super nervous but she was so kind and amazing. Septum Piercing was super quick and not as painful as I thought it would be. I will be back soon for my other nose piercing. After care instructions were explained perfectly and thoroughly. Thank you for being so amazing. Also, shout-out to Lexi for being an angel and standing with me while I was being a baby lol. You dolls are great!!!

Chaz is a great artist and a true professional. He worked with me on the design of both of my tattoos, and helped me come up with something I love. For the first tattoo I was very nervous and he really put me at ease. Im definitely going to go to Chaz anytime I want a new tattoo.

The environment is very comfortable. Really sweet and caring staff made my whole party feel at ease. Sammie pierced 3 of us and did a phenomenal job. I absolutely love it! I am sadly not in Jacksonville to go again, but hit them up! You will not regret the trip!

Upon entering the shop, I felt very welcomed. It was a nice environment with friendly staff! My earlobes were pierced by Sammie and they made it a very pleasant experience with little to no stress at all. Will definitely revisit for future body mods!!

SAMMIE WAS AMAZING!! she was literally the best piercer I have ever been to in my life. I had a bunch of navel scarring i was insecure about and she was able to cover it! She was the sweetest and made my time there super comfortable! I highly recommend her for your piercer!

It seems like these people have there own kind they want to have in there store I visited on 3 different occasions with my loved ones and I just got the feeling of IDGAF its a very uneasy feeling Im coming to spend money treat me like you care people always outside hanging out like a social club. one time I was standing inside the building for maybe 5 minutes before someone actually came in to ask me what i wanted like if i had messed up the party. All they was doing was hanging outside eating pizza and laughing. I never seen there so called 20.00 peirceing I was always being told I was missing something or documents was nor signed right or who ever is in the building has to be 16 and up like its always something my 4 month old daughter is going to get a tattoo why she cant be in the building she is in a stroller/carseat she wont get into anything

Gavin has done two of my pieces and Colby has done a piece for me and two for my wife. The shop is amazing, clean and the staff is fantastic. If you need great work this is where to get it done.

Chaz (the owner) is a great guy. Ive known him for about 9 years. He did a tattoo on me back then (2014) that still looks great, color had not faded. The shop is reasonably priced & the artists are down to earth & easy to work with. I recommend Chaz & the shop, great quality work, great people.

This entire shop is amazing everyone in it has great energy and the vibe is always amazing. I wont go anywhere but inkstainz for my tattoo work or peircings. Chaz has done everyone of my tattoos since meeting him a year ago and I have not been unsatisfied at all. My fiancé wanted a last minute tattoo with her sister for her birthday and because her sister is moving across the country. So needless to say even though it was last minute, the tattoos were meaningful. We first tried a shop that was close by us. They told us that they were closing in the next hour and couldn’t do it tonight. So we decided to check out this place. We told them what we were looking for and they said no problem! They were quick, friendly and did a phenomenal job. They made us feel comfortable and welcome. They took genuine interest in the work and their shop had great vibes and was very clean. Oh and they were very reasonably priced! These guys are great and I would recommend them to everyone! I will definitely be going back to them for future work.

I have my fair share of ink, a few shops around florida, a couple of home tats, to shops all over the country. So i think i have a pretty good idea about what makes a tattoo shop amazing.You can see the care and passion put into my tattoo.I strongly recommend looking at the tattoo books in the lobby- from what i see there is a large variety of styles.My tattoo was with color- it was also a coverup (you cant see the old tattoo at all!!)The Artist Charlie was funny. His humor helped keep my mind off the buzz sound of the gun.The Artist didnt have a heavy hand, so the tattoo didnt hurt like i thought it would.I recommend stopping in the next time you are looking to get some new work.Also they do piercings. I didnt get one but i know that service is offered.

Well I had heard good things about this place so I went and got a tattoo from them. The artwork was good but he really needs to work on customer service skills and needs to work on being more gentle. He took way too many brakes to smoke and my arm was way too swollen and was bruised the next day.

Chaz was my artist. He was an amazing guy and did a great job on my death moth tattoo. Would highly recommend this guy for future ink.

I came in for their $50 tattoo fridays. i had been in the shop many times to see their piercer, sammie, who does an okay job, but not for a tattoo so i wasn’t sure what to expect. there were quite a few people already waiting inside the shop when i arrived. the young lady at the desk asked what i was getting today, i told her tattoo, she handed me a clipboard and walked off. i filled in the information and returned the clipboard and she walked off again.i wasn’t sure if she had everything she needed from me so i stood at the desk waiting for a while until other customers walked up . mind you there’s not enough seating for everyone so most people are standing, there’s no ac in this building and people are starting to sweat, they didn’t have any waters or refreshments and the gas station next door was closed (so please bring your own refreshments , keep in mind their sign says no eating in lobby). as one of the only 2 black people in the room i felt like the odd one out, as usual, so i didn’t want to be the one perceived as causing a scene or disruption . which isn’t necessarily anyone’s fault, just providing context to my personal experience.the young lady at the desk barely said hello to me. none of the artists looked at me or said hello or acknowledged my presence. i ended up waiting in the lobby for 2 hours before i decided to ask how long of a wait i could expect, when she told me possibly another hour. i asked if i could come back, she said yes, and offered to call my cell phone when they were ready for me. so i left, went to see my good friend from Corium tattoo company, and they gave me the exact design i wanted and matched the same price, and was done before inkstainz called me back.my problem with my experience is that as a potential paying customer i did not feel prioritized. i wanted to get a piece done below my breasts and i had 100% accepted that a man might have to do that, but after waiting and watching the artists avoid my gaze i just didn’t feel comfortable with anyone there touching me. also, if the young lady at the desk were just a little nicer and more open considering this is usually the first person anyone sees walking in, i felt like i was bothering her. she very easily could’ve told me there was a queue in front of me and that it would’ve been an [x] minute wait and we can call you when we’re ready, instead of letting me wait 2 hours and then saying they can call me when they’re ready. i could’ve used those 2 hours to run errands or eat or whatever, instead of being sweaty and uncomfortable in a room full of people.i didn’t want to ask myself because like i said, the girl seemed annoyed and more concerned with laughing and joking with everyone else behind the counter. and trust me i wanna have fun at work as much as the next guy, but working in a business where you permanently alter someone’s body, you want your customers to be comfortable. i felt anything but comfortable with inkstainz, and i’ve tried to work with yall many times in the past but end up disappointed each time. just a smile, or a “let me know if you have any questions “ would’ve made a hell of a difference.we all have our own lives and nobody has time or money to waste.its the lack of communication and nonwelcoming environment for me. i can understand that everyone is busy working (even though it really, really didn’t look like it) but i’m busy too and my time is just as important.
