Jax Ink Tattoo & body piercing

I got my left nostril and then came back an hour later to get my tongue. They were both done very quickly with no pain and the two who pierced me really set a good vibe for me and who I was with. Its definitely worth the price and they explained everything really well 💯

I only gave two stars because I didnt end up hating the piercing job; however, the level of professionalism is concerning..mainly, the rude and disrespectful interactions of the older guy (owner). I refused to stoop to his level and allow him to cause me to make a scene, but that doesnt mean I wont write a review to warn others.First off, people can look younger in the face, despite their actual age. For him to yell out in front of everyone, I hope shes 18!..Seriously?..That was extremely inappropriate. If he wasnt sure of my age, then, that definitely wasnt the way to handle it.Next, he proceeds to ask me, out of nowhere, what do I do for work. If Im being honest, none of his damn business. Why would he even be concerned with my employment? Other than, rudeness, nosiness, and another opportunity to be condescending.Ive, also, never had to pay a business before receiving my service, yet this dude seriously had me pay up front, even though he didnt ask the other two customers to do that. I dont know what his problem is, but I refuse to go back to this shop.

Johnny did me and my daughters nose piercing. We had no idea what to expect but he made us feel very comfortable. I really loved the way he explained and went into detail about the after care.

Five stars isn’t enough because Jax Ink is worth so much more. I’ve been twice for my own tattoos to be done and a few times prior with my aunts for theirs. Each time I’ve gotten ink, Apache has done such good work. I can show him what I’m looking for and he takes it and makes it better. The staff alone has gone out of their way to make me feel like we have all known each other for years. I will always be coming here for any tattoos I want done. The time and attention to detail is worth it.

Wife and I went in the afternoon on Sunday at 4pm without an appointment. They welcomed us right away drew up both of our arm tattoos and had them done on us both by 9pm. We walked in not expecting to get them done same day but they made it work.

Great! The piearcer is so sweet I got my snake bites done and he is awesome he makes you feel so comfortable! I love my snake bites and he explains things so well. Love it!

Tore my skin and DID NOT tell me. Did not commit in that area, which means he knew it. I noticed it when home. Got antibiotics from Dr. What it is supposed to look like (full color ribbon) and what it looks like, and the place where he tore my skin.

I will definitely be going there again for my next piercing the piercer is so funny and made me feel comfortable

Came to get my sons ear lobes pierced (hes 16). Very professional, and clean environment. The only thing I hadnt expected was to need the consent form notorized. Good fortune smiled upon us, as someone there was a notary and had her stamp! 🙏🙌 I would absolutely come back and would recommend them!

The customer service was amazing me and my wife came in just to get prices on a septum piercing and eyebrow piercing. Ended up getting both piercing done by Johnny which come to find out he is the owner of the place. He was hilarious which help with being nervous he was amazing with the both of us was very gentle to be honest overall experience was great definitely will be going back and recommending people to this place😊

After setting up an appointment with an artist at this location. I showed up on time excited about the new tattoo. The artist that was to do the tattoo didnt remember the appointment. Hadnt drawn up the tattoo that I wanted even after I sent him the picture four days prior. Basically told me he didnt have the time to perform the work. Finally I asked another artist to do the work. I will never use this location again.

I went here to get my daughters ear pierced and it was a wonderful experience! The piercer who I think was the owner was super informative and patient with my 5 month old. I am so happy that I was able to find a reputable shop to pierce my baby’s ears. It was only $80 and I had to get a form notarized since she’s a minor. 10/10 definitely recommend!!

Great place, great vibe, funny staff. Really appreciated them fitting me in at the last minute because a different shop I made an appointment for the guy never showed up. Literally wanna go back to Jax Ink and get more piercings in the future! I’ve had issues before (from previous shops not this shop) where I get bumps by my nose piercings but not this time! Absolutely amazing experience!!! I did a lot of research and trying to get referrals from ppl for my my nipple piercings. I got great reviews both online and by a friend of mine for this shop… business started promptly at opening. I got to meet the owner Johnny and he also did my piercings for me. Super quick and not anywhere near as painful as I was thinking or told about. I’m SO HAPPY!! My mom and I will be returning for more piercings and tattoos after speaking with a couple of the tattoo artists there as well. I felt like I was already a prior client of theirs. Clean environment and cool staff, love them already. We’ll be back asap!

I got my nose pierced here by Katie. This is the first piercing I’ve ever gotten on my face. She was so kind and informative and she made the whole experience very comfortable and easy. She was so helpful and explained everything as well as how to keep up with it. I got it two weeks ago and it has healed so well. I’d recommend!

So I went in for a change out and it was an 18 gauge septum piercing would not go back in! They told me let it heal and come back for a new piercing one of the sweetest people I can see myself being a daily client for tattoos as well. I ALSO cussed a little and I’m so sorry for any other customers and the piercer! I definitely recommend 😂 I am normally so good with pain but omg I def recommend coming here where they know best lol! Also did not charge and they tried their best it was already a rough day and they kept trying for me I’m just happy I came across this place !

I got my septum pierced yesterday and they were great! The piercer (sorry I cant remember) she definitely knew what she was doing. It was quick and easy! Would recommend this shop for sure. The picture looks crooked but its just the swelling.

Went to get my 16 y/o her first piercing. They sent us to a very sweet elderly gentlemans house for the form notary. The man that did the piercing was super cool and funny. Def eased the tension. Everything was sterile, fast, and friendly. Would go again next time.

I went in to get a smiley piercing done and had a wonderful experience, Katie and Jonny made it very comfortable and painless as possible. They did such a good job I came back the next day to get my nose pierced. Am definitely coming back for my other piercings!

Went in to get my ears pierced, ended up leaving with two more piercings in my ears than I planned! Great staff. I was super nervous (I hate needles) and they talked me through everything they were doing. Kept me calm and laughing the entire time. I appreciated how clean and sterile everything was. The way the artist made sure everything was done properly made me feel comfortable. I will be back!

10 out of 10 will definitely be coming back again. John the piercer is amazing and helped me with a very poorly done, week old, septum piercing that was hurting very badly. He talked me through the entire process and made sure I understood everything and felt comfortable the entire time. He has a gentle hand and didnt hurt me at all. He cares about his clients and takes pride in a very good quality job.

Completely unprofessional!! Called ahead to make sure my brother and I could both get in with separate artists exchanged multiple texts with images and placement agreed upon time to come we were really excited so, show up to the shop no greeting at all, Bad vibes all around, person I spoke to wasnt even there two artists were there, one was supposed to start drawing up for me disappeared without even a conversation second OBVIOUSLY did not want to work said he would do it but only for $450 for a top of hand tattoo couldnt even find other artist who was supposed to be drawing mine up to tell him we were leaving. Rude, inconsiderate, waste of time truly an embarrassment to an amazing profession!! Dont waste your time.

Rabbit is awesome!!!! I initially had a nose piercing done somewhere else in Orange Park and it wasnt a good experience. Read the reviews here and gave it a try. I am very impressed. Rabbit did the piercing super quick. And barely any pain. She knows exactly what shes doing. And shes also very sweet and friendly. I’ve been here twice now and both times Vincent did an excellent job. First time he pierced my nose and my nieces nose. This most recent time he did my nieces first tattoo. He was so great with her and made her feel comfortable and did an amazing job on the tattoo. He is very professional and clean which we love. Everyone in the shop were fantastic. My daughter and I drove from Ga to get her a tattoo. She’s 17 and Florida tattoos minors with a notarized consent. When we walked in we felt very comfortable and the nerves seized. Martin tattooed my daughter and he did an amazing job. He was professional, easy going and fun. Rabbit was AMAZING! This was my first piercing and it took her like 45 seconds to do. No guns or clamps needed and she pierced me in the perfect spot on my nose. She took the time to answer all of my questions, walk me through the process, and could tell I was a little nervous so she let me pick the music we listened to. She even answered some follow-up questions I had a few days after the piercing. She was funny, relaxed, friendly, patient, and very professional!

Needed some emergency assistance with jewelry from an old piercing. Everyone was so pleasant and willing to help, even tho it was late and near closing. They helped me immediately, no waiting at all. The first time I was a customer at Jack’s ink was back in 2017 I came and I got a tattoo on my right forearm and it came out really nice everybody was friendly it was a very nice vibe and I really enjoy my time there so the next time I walked into this establishment it was to get a piercing by already knew I liked the atmosphere so you know I trusted them to do what they do and I was not disappointed My piercing came out amazing and I loved it while I was there I spoke to Rick💯 aboutmy piercing came out amazing and I loved it while I was there I spoke to Rick💯 about maybe getting together and doing some artwork I need to finish my arm and he agreed information and when I contacted him he looked over everything I wanted and gave me a price and we set a date from there. Fast forward to almost a year later my entire arm is almost complete I have one more spot to do and I am just excited to link back up with Rick and have it all come together. I kid you’re not before I leave each session I’m already telling him about what I want and booking my next session. This place is amazing and they have my business forever!

John is a Angel!!! 😘😘Due to a horrible experience with “Eric’s tattoo shop” in Jacksonville I gave one last shot to look elsewhere. I called “Jax ink tattoo and piercings” and they were BEYOND helpful. I needed my dermal removed from my throat that “Eric’s” did a botch job on. And it wasn’t painful at all. Scarring would be very close to minimal with proper care😌. I even got my septum done and pain was like nothing more then a sneeze. I highly recommend this shop and I will be returning next week for a tattoo. Thank you guys for being professional and caring due to a shop that only wants your money.

I was in today to get my septum pierced and honestly it was my best piercing experience I have ever had. The owner Johnny Beavers did my piercing and it was just wonderful. he was lighthearted and made jokes to calm my nerves before the procedure. He showed me all the tools that would be used and clearly explained the entire piercing process. After the piercing was done he went over the aftercare and cleaning procedures with me 3 times and made sure I fully understood the healing time and care needed for my specific piercing. I will definitely be back for the rest of my piercing needs. 10/ 10 would recommend this shop to anybody looking for a quality piercing.

I got my tattoo done a few days ago by Tiffany who was amazing. All the staff were pretty cool and professional. Tiffany took me as a walk in which I was nervous about because my design was very detailed but she took her time & got it done. My tattoo came out very beautiful, its healing well also. I cant help but show it off.

The place was great and the service was even better. I got two tattoos and my nose pierced and my artistic was phenomenal. His name is flick and I will never go two anyone else. My friend is also getting tattooed by Rick and the tattoo looks great. I wouldn’t suggest going anywhere else.

Called a ton of tattoo places for piercings and almost all of them said they only did gauges. Thankfully, Jax Ink does a wide variety of piercings and take sanitation very seriously, they don’t use piercing guns which is so much better.I think “Rabbit” did mine and my friends piercings, he was super quick and professional. Made sure everything was properly sanitized and I barely felt the piercings at all. My friend got nauseous after getting 3 piercings and he was super nice about it, he got her water and a ring pop to help get her blood sugar back up.He educated me on how to properly care for them until they heal (apparently I’d been given terrible advice in the past and have had my ears pierced 3 times in the same spot, but had to remove them due to complications every time).So far, they look and feel great! (I’m only on week 3/8 in the healing process)I’ve recommended this place to friends and family and would absolutely go back to get more done!

Went in after reviewing a few places in Jacksonville and this place was my pick and im glad I did. I got septum and nostril done by John not the famous Johnny but Lil John, thats his new nickname by me 😂. He was so quick, cool, calm. Like he been doing it all his life. In and out in 20 min. Had an amazing experience here. My girlfriend and I both came in to get our septum’s pierced and the guy (possibly the owner?) got us taken care of extremely quickly.He made the process quick and as painless as possible, and cracked some great jokes along the way. My first piercing I ever got they gave me a fake jewelry and lied to me this piercer here spencer was able to tell me this is fake they cheated you out and he helped me change it easily and gently. I got a tattoo here several months ago and it blew my mind how awful it came out I feel mostly responsible because I didnt have the guy stop but tattoos are permanent so get them done by someone good and when someone is putting ink into your skin look at there tats first on there own skin to see if they know what quality looks like. I was ignored because I asked for a specific person. I asked when that person would return which is actually the owner and was advised he has not been there and I said that was a lie because he was just there the day before. Then it was changed to he is rarely there. I asked to call because I always get him to do my work and was ignored. I will never return ever again. We all have attitudes so its best that I remain free. Its more than one piercer.

Went here for my second tattoo, the experince was so great id refer them to anyone. A guy name Chris did my tattoo. He was amazing , i drew up somethings i wanted and he was able to recreate a wayyy better version using my ideas, i loveed it! He was able to get every key item I wanted all neatly into a forearm sized tattoo.. I have a low-medium pain tolerance but he worked with me. Plus more business your way i will tell everyone about yall.ThanksP.s update everything was good until the ball fall off that night try to have them put a lip ring not a bar with a ball at the end i had to go get one from a place and they said i should have picked which one i wanted and i told that guy that the one that did it said i would have to wait two weeks then can come back in and i can change it out and buy a ring he said i should have pick out of about 4 shape but here they only put one type in your mouth so i will not go back i have a ring in at night and smaller but nicer one when im at work i cant lose the ball each day like i was for 3 daysSo if they say they will not put a ring or the one you want in then go somewhere else remember your lip will get a little bigger but still have room the one they give me was where to long. But if they change the bar to what you want they are great here

For 2 wrist tats that are small I was going to get charged 150 a piece thats nuts with no detail I got a angel on my shoulder and it covers most of my shoulder for 300 bucks. And there reviews say they are fair and reasonable with prices I dont think so

I had john pierce my septum and he did it so quickly and painlessly and he was funny I will definitely be going back if I want anything else done.

First time I went was ah few years ago started with my first lip ring then they became my permanent tattoo place no complaints here I trust there work I pay attention to everything attitude,willingness customer service they got it all may be hard getting a walk but that should tell you right there busy and booked

If I could post zero stars believe me I would. Went in on a Sunday afternoon to get matching tattoos with a friend and the artist was drugged out of his mind. Unprofessional is an understatement and there was no way in hell I was going to let him near us with a tattoo needle. I don’t care how cheap the quote is, BEWARE.

Rabbit pierced mine and my friend’s septum and she did AMAZING she didn’t even use a clamp! It turned out so cute I’ll definitely go back to her🥰

Got a dermal it only hurt for a second then they use numbing spray and it never hurt again period. Washed it 2 days with seasalt and warm water for two days that didnt hurt and bam its good!
