Worked with Wade - went in with basic ideas, wanting a quick couple of tattoos nothing too wild. Wade turned my basic picture ideas into art for what I wanted. He really did amazing. He is very personable and very nice. I will be going back very soon for more work

My Husband and I have been looking for a good artist since we moved to the area. Weve been to multiple places in the Jacksonville area and have had the same results we dont take walk-ins, go on social media and find an artist, come back when you have an appointment. This has been frustrating. House of Pain not only took us in right away, but Wade was awesome! Super friendly and worked with what my Husband wanted.. he even made a simple piece better than expected. Pricing is always a concern, buy he is reasonable and worth every dollar! Thank you Wade, well be coming back for more soon!!

We came across this tattoo shop while driving past it every morning for work. Needless to say this place has amazing artist with impeccable skill. We went to Larry for our idea and he delivered spot on. He is a tank that powered through 2, 11 hour sessions. Quick to respond through Instagram for in person consultation and we couldn’t be happier!

Went and got a hand tattoo done there, the artist admitted that he rushed to get it done the first time due to me getting a little dizzy(yes I didn’t eat as much as I should have before hand and that’s on me). Sent him a picture after the first time and he said he would touch it up for free. Went back in to get it touched up and he said if I need more touch ups he would charge me, that’s fair if I’m not taking care of it properly but I’m not stupid when it comes to taking care of it. After the touch ups I am starting to notice that the same lines and etc are still very very faint and messed up like the first time. Idk if this was a bad day for him or what. But I would not recommend going there. Just because there’s good reviews doesn’t mean they have good artists. I will be going to another place to see if they can fix it or cover up the poor work.

Stopped by to get a ball for one of my piercings, caught the guys while they were on the way out for the night. They sadly informed me they don’t do piercings at the moment but told me to wait a minute while they would see what they could do, guys were able to find exactly what I needed and helped me out. Great shop, clean and friendly! Highly recommend

I came here for my first tattoo and couldnt ask for more. Reception was great and personable making connections while the artist got ready. I was a walk in with a general idea of what I wanted. Working with Larry was great, he took my initial design and made it better. They took great care into cleanliness and coverings to avoid infection as well as tips for follow on care. Overall couldnt be happier with the art and experience - hope to come back soon!

If i could give more stars i would!They were very professional and friendly from the moment i walked in till the time i left. Not my first tattoo but by far my best experience! Wax was my artist and will continue to be in the future.he did an amazing job and his work speaks for itself. Thanks to the staff for the great experience price,and tattoo.ill definitely be back!

Great people! Although I couldnt get the tat I wanted.... because it was too involved, and as a walk in, time didnt permit. My daughter was able to get hers. Were from PA and were leaving the next day. They were friendly, fun, and extremely talented!! Cant wait to get back to NC to have them do mine!! And yes.... I will make the trip just for that!

Came in here last Saturday to get my first tattoo on my upper right shoulder blade. I saw Dr. Waxx. I had a design I had in mind already and they double checked to ensure I got what I wanted in the perfect spot. The place was very clean and the staff was very professional. Will definitely go back when I decide what I want next and am in the area.

They have been GREAT. Very friendly and honest about any art they do. I would recommend them to even my closest friend and family. They also include free touch ups if needed. They do need to take piercing off their windows because they are not doing that right now but they will recomend a great person that can be trusted.

If and when you do go to this tattoo paradise, make sure to ask for “WAX”!!! Dudes a strait up full on expert in all honesty. Words alone can’t even come close to describing the type of detail that this man can put into your artwork. Any tattoo done at (Stout’s H.O.P) by wax himself is definitely hands down going to be respected and shown love too, by almost any and everyone.

Best place to get a tattoo.If you are new with tats these people are your go to. They helped me and my friends out with post tattooing care.They are very kind people. Family owned.So affordable. They will not botch or ruin a job. They always do a great job.

I saw Sabrina, she will help you find or design something for you that will look good, actually on your skin as a tattoo. Instead of you picking a colour scheme or design that you might hate 6 months from now, she will be very up front and honest with you. Fantastic pricing and beautiful, personalized and detailed work! I will be going back to her in the future

Badass place. Great group of artists they put together in one place. Place is clean and they do kickass work. Highly recommended for any ink you may need. And this is the first review Ive ever done.

Went there to get a piercing, we were done within a half hour. The piercer was friendly and gentle, yet very thorough and knowledgeable. He made us feel comfortable and welcome.

Elliot did me and my friends piercings last minute and he did amazing ! He made sure we were comfortable, definitely going back and getting more.

Was a walk in on pay day weekend and spent less then an hour in there! Sabrina did a quote under my collar bone and it was painless, fast, and very well done! Would highly recommend them!

I went in to get my dermal removed and Elliot did a great job! It was almost painless and it looks like I wont even have a scar! :) I highly recommend!

I got a earpeircing there and the guy took his time to explain what was going on, the piercing was taken care of amazingly and stopped hurting after 30 minutes! It was amazing 10/10 would do again

Ive tried 3 tattooers n I got to say that I Like the artists!!! One thing I dnt like... but I keep it to myself! I keep on going there cuz I like the spot n the ppl in it.

The shop inside is absolutely beautiful! No flash on the walls, this place has artists.
