Mehana Tattoo

My mom and I got our first tattoos with Mehana and we’re both obsessed and in love with them! Mehana was very accommodating and friendly and made us feel really comfortable during our appointment (we were both really nervous). Her artwork is so dope and we’re already thinking of getting more tattoos with her😂😄 Also, the space is super cool and chill and the other artists there have some really nice designs and artwork. Mehana is an amazing creative artist and amazing person! She made me feel so comfortable the whole time and kept checking in to make sure I was doing ok.I can’t recommend her enough, I would 100% go to her beautiful studio again! ✨

I flew in from Maui and I don’t regret a thing. I was immediately greeted with a smile! Mehana was kind, gentle, and I left ABSOLUTELY happy with my piece. She was very patient with me when I wasn’t sure about placement. Side note…the room aesthetic and music was very calming which helped calm my nerves. Definitely going back next time I’m in Kona.

Mehana gave me my first tattoo, and this was one that I have been waiting my whole life to get. Her fine line skills are amazing and really brought the lehua to life. She was so sweet and made sure that I felt comfortable, easing my fears of getting a tattoo. It has healed sooooo well (second photo is 1.5 years healed). If you are on the Big Island and want a fineline botanical, Mehana is the one to go to!

My experience getting tattooed by Mehana was amazing! She was kind, thoughtful, and went over the tattoo’s with me with patience. The setting of her area is super clean as always, makes you feel comfortable, and in a good location in the heart of Kona. I’ve gotten two tattoos from her- definitely will be getting more tattoos and recommend anyone to do so as well. It won’t be a regretful experience or tattoo. Thank you Mehana!

I saw Mehana while I was visiting the Big Island and I came across her account from Instagram by searching for fine line work and her beautiful account popped up. She had posted that she had an opening and I sprinted from the beach into her chair. She was super fast in drawing up my design and I loved her access to all the font options I could pick from. Her little corner of the studio is so aesthetically pleasing and her vibe matched mine for sure and it made me want to get 100 more tattoos from her. I couldn’t recommend her enough and if she was ever on the mainland I would travel to get work done by her.

Absolutely love Mehana!I’ve gotten four tattoos from her and each time she was amazing! She really takes her time when designing the tattoo and always prints them out in different sizes so I can see exactly how it will look on my body-which I really appreciate. She makes sure I’m comfortable the entire time & I always am! Also, she is great about communicating in regards to appointments! I highly recommend her!!

I got my first tattoo with Mehana and she was incredible. I felt safe and comfortable throughout the whole experience. I was visiting the big island on a vacation and my tattoo experience with Mehana made the whole trip. I would recommend her to anyone.

Mehana did my first tattoo and it was such an amazing experience. She could tell I was nervous and made me feel comfortable. She talked to me like we were old friends. I had such a great experience that I went back to her for my second tattoo.

I got my tattoo from Mehana back in August or September of 21. It was our first trip to Hawaii in general and the last day of our trip. She made the design and catered to my story. It is a very meaningful tattoo to me. It was also my first time getting tatted!! I believe it was her first day back from a very long vacation. Regardless, I think that it looks amazing. I always get compliments on the line work and design. People are always asking me who the artist and I tell them about this queen and show them her Instagram. Hopefully, one day, theyll get blessed with her talent.Mehana has great communication, and let me know what steps shes taking. Since it was my last day, I had to worry about caretaking and making sure that it stayed clean. Luckily, she walked me through the aftercare and gave great recommendations. The tattoo stayed stunning even after the healing process. Look at how bright my ink still is! I absolutely love her and will go back for another if I ever visit the island again.Thanks, Mehana!!!! Everything about Mehana is on point! Her welcoming, her aura & humbleness, bright smile, her fine line work with steady hands and her creativity is on too of thia world. She is magnificent! Plus, Kaeo Tattoo Studio is one solid studio too!! Beautiful artwork galore and great company of artists.
