I live out of town and was having a really hard time finding a reputable piercer. I asked around and Mel was recommended by everyone I talked to. I came in for two nostril piercings and two eyebrow piercings, and Mel did an excellent job explaining the process to us. She was welcoming and easy to talk with which made the process a lot easier. I’m excited for my next visit with her!

My partner and I just got pierced today by Zak, the experience and atmosphere was so nice! Even though I was very nervous the whole time I still felt like I was in a safe space. I liked how he talked us through our piercings and explained the aftercare instructions very well. We will definitely come back to Powers for any future piercings!

I saw a Friday the 13th tattoo special, and one of those designs spoke to me. I just lost my black cat to kidney disease, and they had a black cat outline. I didnt even hesitate and I am very pleased with my experience. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The studio is clean. You can tell they care about their business. They were kind the entire time, even while I was just waiting in the lobby. The line work is clean and straight, no blobs or skips. Im so glad I made this decision.

We had such a great experience with this tattoo shop. I had the brilliant idea of designing a tattoo for my husband without his knowledge; and to my surprise the staff, Mel and Ian totally indulged me! They communicated well in regards to scheduling, ideas, and the final design. Ian created an absolutely beautiful piece that represented fatherhood and was able to capture each one of our kids in a creative way. My husband was totally surprised and he was very happy with his tattoo and the whole process! We will definitely be making appointments in the future.

Went in today to get my Daith done. Mel was awesome! Really felt comfortable with her, and she explained things very well throughout the whole process. I love my piercing and she did it so well that it sits perfectly and I am not experiencing pain in that area at all. I’ll definitely be returning to see her for any future piercings.

Being new to the area, I asked for recommendations from Facebook. I had an overwhelming amount of people recommend Powers Tattoo!!!I decided to make an appointment to have my daughters ears pierced for her 5th birthday. I was advised to show her videos online and to be honest with her about the process, and if she still wanted to proceed, then book the appointment accordingly.Low and behold, she wanted to proceed and NOW. Made an appointment for the next day and it was nothing short of amazing. The experience was inviting, friendly, and easy!Mel did the piercing, and Lin was the apprentice. They were both fantastic. They explained the process with me and my husband as well as my daughter. Mel let her touch one of the instruments she would be using and made my daughter at ease.The whole process, after the piercing locations were marked, took less than 4 minutes!! They even provided a frozen Capri Sun to apply to the ears and then take with us on the trip home!I would 100 percent recommend them and even plan to use them in the future!!

We have came here for a belly button piercing, snakebites, & nostril most recently. Cool little shop on Clearwater. Mel is so chill & gives you a printout to take home. Also let us know that if we had any questions, to just text her. Definetely recommend to everyone. The jewelry they have is very unique. All staff makes you feel welcomed. Easy to make an appointment on their Instagram page through messaging.

Mel is very professional and skilled. I will not go to anyone else anymore, especially considering she has fixed most of my piercings that I got done incorrectly at other shops. I definitely recommend this shop. Have always been satisfied with my piercings.

I went here to get my nipples done, they were very kind and professional, the piercer (I think his name was Zach?) Was super informative and approachable, which I really appreciated since I felt awkward in the chair. But he did a great job, explained the whole thing and the after care very well and was super nice!The girls at the front counter were very friendly and helpful as well! I loved the welcoming feeling I got from everyone!

I’m so excited about my new earrings and nose piercing! The selection and quality of the body Jewlery made me feel like a kid in a candy shop! Mel and the staff were friendly, professional, and skilled. I will definitely be coming back, I’m already plotting what I want next!

This is my second time coming into powers to get my helix and nose piercing done. Lin was doing my piercing and although she is only an apprentice she did an amazing job explaining the process and after care. Mel was present as well and you can really tell that when you come in this is more than just doing a piercing on someone. Although an apprentice appointment does take a little longer you can appreciate the amount of detail Mel has for piercing placement and making sure that you get exactly what you expect if not more. Every time Im done the experience is so great you just cant wait to get another piercing! I constantly recommend powers to anyone looking to get a piercing the staff here will take very good care of you!

I really enjoyed my experience at this place! From the warm and friendly staff when I entered, to the end result of my Tattoo. Professional, clean making environment. And something VERY important... once the stencil was in place, I hesitated to mention that I wanted a slight change. Ian Powers had no issue with redoing the drawing and sure it was exactly what I wanted! He wanted to make sure everything was perfect so he knew it was just what I wanted. Got my piercing done about a month ago by Zak, it was quick and painless loved that they accepted walk-ins as it was spur of the moment. 100% recommend, don’t forget to tip!

Got both my ears pierced back in December as a birthday gift from my mom. The piercer who did it Mel was wonderful and did an amazing job:)Hopefully I’ll get the chance to get some more piercings done there in the future. Rad group of people they have working there.

Zak wa very knowledgeable and reopened my nose peircing, gave me much needed assurance that everything would heal up and answered all ny questions, if you are needing any sort of peircings or after care hes great.

I wanted to get my septum re pierced but I wasn’t sure if I could because I’m on oxygen at night. Zak was really great with helping me and I was able to get it done and I love it! I definitely recommend him for anyone looking to get a piercing!

Ive had bad experiences with piercings, but they definitely know what they are doing. So kind, and just an amazing vibe over all. Very reasonable pricing as well. 10/10 recommend. PLEASE GO HERE!

Mel was amazing, I got my second lobe piercings done there and she did had done my sisters lobe piercings a year ago. She was very patient as I was nervous and had no pain tolerance. She walked me through the whole thing and I can’t wait for these things to heal! I love them and I will definitely refer her to everyone I know.

I LOVE this place. I only go here for my piercings and tattoos. The atmosphere is amazing and feels like family. Mel is amazing at her job and very thorough in telling me how to care for them. Ian and Dylan are amazing as well. Im sure their female artist is amazing too Ive just not had the pleasure of being tattooed by her yet. Went in to get my second lobe piercings but they talked me out of them cause Im still stretching which was the right call ended up getting a helix and I love it, so professional and chill.

Had the most wonderful experience with Mel! She was so patient with me and so informative. She eased my anxieties about allergies (Im allergic to most metals) and the placements of the piercings were beautiful! She worked with my current placements so that what she did would be complimentary to what I already have and the process was very professional, clean, sterile, and hygienic! (As someone with a background in dental I see and appreciate this so much). She was willing to work with my crazy schedule and get me in the next day for a consult and piercing. The piercings only ached day 1, and after that they only hurt if I bump them on accident, compared to others Ive had done elsewhere that were chronically painful and took forever to heal. I cant emphasize enough how great of a job she did and even gave me some neat ideas for future piercings that not only would I not have come up with on my own, but made me more positive and love anatomy on my ear that I previously didnt like. Everything was streamlined and the aesthetic of the shop is wonderful too. Definitely getting more piercings done by Mel, and recommending this shop to all my friends and family. 12/10 would definitely come again. Not to mention she has a beautiful array of jewelry to pick from! We were able to pick some cute stuff that matched my existing jewelry perfectly. Im so starstruck by how great my experience was. I am absolutely thrilled with the service and the piercing I received!I got angel fangs, (I think aka twin vertical labrets?) And Mel was super nice, walked me through everything, and they even had someone record the experience on my phone for me! but the best part?Im on day 4 of healing, and I have had NO swelling, almost NO pain, and NO bruising! This lady obviously knows what shes doing!I cant wait to get more piercings done by her! My pictures are day 1 VS day 3 of my healing process

Mel came highly recommended to me by my tattoo artist as I was unsure where to go to get a nose piercing. They recommended Mel immediately, and I can see why! I called and got an appointment same day (although that might not always be the case). She was very helpful, comforting, and answered all my questions. The process only took about 15 minutes - it was smooth, easy, and thorough. Prior to the piercing, she walked me through the each step, helped me decide which side, and was very honest and helpful when picking jewelry. Afterward, she explained the aftercare process and provided me with her card, cell phone number, written instructions of everything she told me, and said if I had any questions once I got home (whether it was that night or weeks or months from now) to text her and shed get back to me! I appreciate fantastic customer service, especially when it feels like a friend wanting to help. :) I would easily recommend Mel to anyone for their piercings. Im so happy with my new nose ring!

Got my ears repierced by Zak a few weeks ago. He was the sweetest. So were the 2 behind the front counter. Great atmosphere. I honestly called another place down the road (where I originally planned to go), but the vibe I got when they answered made me change my mind and go to Powers Tattoo Company instead. Im super glad with my choice. Definitely recommend!

The girl at the front desk was awesome!! I walked in on 3/3/23 asking for a jewelry swap in my helix piercing, from a stud to a 6mm hoop I brought in. They asked if I was ok with an apprentice doing it and I said that was fine. After fumbling with it for 15 minutes, he ended up giving me a blood blister when the pliers slipped. I didnt know how poorly it was done until I got home and found that the hoop wasnt even fully closed because it was bent out of shape. I had to cut it off and just found another I did myself. My lesson learned is that if I come back again in the future, to ask for someone experienced.To the owners reply: If Im not in your records, then your records are not very accurate.

My experience at Powers Tattoo Company was excellent! Mel is hilarious and made me feel super comfortable as a guest artist there. The shop is extremely clean and well organized. The jewelry selection is high quality and very large compared to most shops. I observed her doing countless piercings all of which came out perfectly as a piercer myself. Her clients seemed super happy, and in my 2 week stay at this high volume shop I saw nothing but smiles from clients. Not to mention the tattoo work was also extremely solid! As someone in the industry myself owning a shop, I would highly recommend going here if you are in the area.

I recently had some work done by Ian and am more than impressed! I gave him a photo of what I wanted and let him add shading and details how he thought would look best and it turned out even better than I expected! The shop was very clean and all the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, I’ll definitely be going back for any future tattoos, 10 out of 10 recommend this place to anyone that wants top notch quality tattoos!

My daughter and I called in today to have some piercings done, they were able to fit us in within an hour. The shop was super clean, cute and comfortable and Mel and her apprentice did a fantastic job. They answered all the questions that we had, were super professional and the jewelry and piercings were extremely reasonably priced. I definitely recommend and we will for sure be back!

I have gotten so many services done at this tattoo shop and the amount of care they put into each cutsomer and their products is amazing. They have done tattoos and piercings on me and i have never had an issue as long as i listened to their instructions. I have also seen some very messed up piercings come in that were done at other shops in the area and Mel the main piercer has fixed them and made them beautiful. Will definitely be going back since they have gained so much trust. Highly recommended!

My wife and I come to powers often. I recently got a small amount of color added to an existing tattoo, by Ian, which was absolutely perfectly placed and priced. I also got my nose pierced by Zack, with the supervision of Mel. They both made sure the placement was where I wanted but also with their professional opinion making it perfect. They assured me if there were any complications they would take care of anything on their part, which there wasn’t. I trust them. Mel has been doing play piercings for my wife for about a year now & there has never been any issues. They go over the designs and placements of the designs together. We always have a great experience in this shop.

My mom and I went in to get cartilage piercings and the staff was friendly and fun. Mel did an amazing job helping us pick out earrings that would work better when healing and gave us great aftercare instructions!!! The place was clean and the piercings came out perfect!!

Powers is my favorite shop and the shop that I recommend to anyone looking for a good piercing experience specifically. Mel and the people she trains are professional, knowledgeable and dedicated to their work. From nose piercings to insane sets of play piercings, you won’t find a better environment. I always have great aftercare treatment and feel comfortable asking any question I want to. The shop has the best vibe and I always feel safe and secure there. I’ve been talked out of getting piercings that weren’t right for me or that are known to be unsafe. The staff at Powers are willing to pass up a dollar for the benefit of their clients and will never leave someone questioning or confused. Love these guys!

I highly recommend coming to this place for your piercings, Mel is amazing, and very knowledgeable about any questions/concerns you may have. She made me feel so comfortable getting pierced, and really took her time with placement and answering my questions. Took both of my daughters (age 10 and 5) to get their ears pierced. Was able to make an appointment for a couple days after I called and they did a really great job. The piercer was very patient and explained to the girls what would happen and what she was doing and they look great!

Love the atmosphere, clean space, friendly artists...all of it! Came in last spring to have a piercing fixed and havent had a problem since! I could tell everyone was knowledgeable and just went back in for jewelery this week!!! Will be back again for any piercing needs!

Got three piercings at once here with Mel and had a fantastic experience. She was extremely helpful with curating placements to accompany my other piercings I had along with jewelry selection to create a unique and gorgeous look. My friend came with and got two piercings as well. We both had a great time and love our results.

Ive had several piercings all done locally but Ive only just discovered Mel. Her work is absolutely astounding compared to what ive had done before! Shes redone a set of mine, got another cartilage piercing and got me jewelry for others piercings I thought were long gone. The vibes are super chill and Mel is hilarious. Im also super interested in getting some piercings from her apprentices. Gonna be going to her from here on out. Tons of jewelry options and Mel is super quick and very precise. And I swear her work doesnt hurt half as bad as the other piercings Ive had done before. Cant reccomend her work enough 💜

I’ve struggled for years trying to get my ears pierced. No matter what I tried they always got infected and ended up closing. I’ve now had 4 piercings here and all are perfect! I highly recommend Mel and Melinda for piercings. They know what they are doing to ensure you have a successful and pleasant piercing experience.

I have completely loved my experience so far. The shop I used to go never has time to do anything so I figured I would try to find my new shop and I think I found it. Mel was super quick with the piercing part and overall was pretty dang painless. I did have a little issue where my lip swelled up more than expected so I had to go in for a longer bar and even that was easy and painless. The wait wasnt very long and took care of me quick. I got my septum pierced here and two (and counting) tattoos from here and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SHOP! I go absolutely NO WHERE else in the Tri Cities. My septum didnt even hurt when I got it done and the girls who helped me were SO sweet! I have seen Dylan twice for tattoos and it was a WONDERFUL experience each time! Ive never had any issues with tattoo aftercare and have hardly even needed my tattoos touched up. Great great people run this business!

My younger and sister and I got pierced by Mel yesterday and had a great experience! The shop was clean and inviting and Mel and the receptionist were very welcoming. Mel did a great job walking my very anxious sister through the process and reassuring her throughout. I love the helix piercing I got and would definitely return here for any future piercings :)

Zak Saturn did a wonderful job replacing and updating my piercings. They had a great selection of jewelery that fit my needs and piercing locations. Mati at the front desk was also amazing at getting me on the schedule.

Mel is a true artist, and a peach to work with. She came up with a design for my piercings that was truly unique, and made the experience fun and relaxing (a quality you want in someone whos punching holes in your skin.) Would recommend 100%.

Walking into this shop my friends and I were greeted at the front desk and within a couple minutes we were walking back with Samantha to get our brand new piercings! Her energy was very welcoming, she helped calm my nerves. Samantha has a lot of knowledge when it comes to all kinds of piercings and jewelry and I never once felt rushed asking questions.She was very professional and everything was clean. I felt comfortable with her and so did my friends. My piercings were easy and they are exactly what I wanted.If I get another piercing I will go back to Sam and I will be recommending her in the future.

This was my first facial piercing and it was comfortable and quick. I didn’t have an appointment so I had to wait I little, completely fine cause obviously it was my own fault. The piercer was friendly and she walked me through it cause she could tell I was nervous, told me how she could help in case it wasn’t straight and overall made it an incredibly comfortable experience. Absolutely recommend. I plan to get another soon :)

I got pierced by Sam on Monday and she did amazing!! It was my first time getting a piercing and she made me feel comfortable and wakes me through everything. She explained how to care for my piercings to heal them and made sure that if I had any questions I knew how to contact her. She was so professional and nonjudgmental, I will definitely get more piercings from her!!

My daughter and I had appointments for nose piercings. The shop was clean, welcoming, and the staff was very friendly. Mel did a great job talking us through the process and entertaining my daughter and her friend while we were getting pierced. They were both in awe of how cool the place is, and Ive already been told Im taking my daughter back there for a tattoo when shes ready. The entire atmosphere of this business is positive and affirming, and I highly recommend their services. It was an amazing time.

My friends and I came in to all get our noses pierced and the owner and everyone on staff were amazing!!! They gave us all the info we needed and answered all of our questions! I brought my 6 year old daughter here to get her ears pierced for her first time and Mel did an amazing job! She talked her through everything and made her feel comfortable, I would definitely recommend getting your little ones ears done here.

I had the pleasure of Mel piercing my tragus, I kept the stud she used in for over a year with no issue, and when I was ready she had a beautiful selection of jewelry to upgrade to. 3 years later and I am still in love with this piercing, cant wait to have more piercings done!

My friend and I visited on a Wednesday to get her nipples pierced and Mel did an amazing job. The very first time I went into this shop to schedule my appointments I loved the energy and the extreme cleanliness of it. Mati was really nice and very patient with me when scheduling my appointments and answered all of my questions in a timely manner because it was my first time getting a tattoo, so I really appreciated that. Mel pierced my daith and helix and did a very efficient job, she was also very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Dylan also did my first tattoo and did great work and was really great at making me feel comfortable as well. I will definitely be going back here for any future piercings or tattoos.

I wish I would have known about Zak Saturn when I got my daith to begin with. Hes one of the most gentle men. He explains every step he takes, as hes going along. He took out the one I had in and replaced it with a replaced it with a acrylic one so I can have my MRI tomorrow. Such a relief, Ive been almost petrified about this for weeks. Im excited to come back and get my new titanium one tomorrow! Thank you Zak for being so amazing and kind!

I went in to get my septum redone today. When I called the shop, I had amazing service and was able to just walk in. Sam made me feel SO comfortable with my piercing. I told her about my past experience in Yakima a few years back and how I had it pierced TWICE in the same day and it was still crooked. Sam talked me through the entire process and was incredibly sweet. Definitely calmed my nerves. If anyone needs to get something fixed or just wants to add a new edition I highly recommend going here and checking her out! (:

I should start by saying this is a really cool place, with some of the best art I’ve seen covering all of the walls. Mel Sprinkles did my nose piercing. She was really professional and thorough explaining everything to me, and cared how I was doing (gave me juice when I got lightheaded). She helped me relax because I was nervous, and even called an artist friend of hers to see if she was interested in selling us a painting of hers. She was cool and friendly, and made it a fun experience. I would highly recommend her and this shop.

My partner and I went in yesterday for piercings. The first thing we noticed when we walked in was how clean and fun the shop was. There was stuff everywhere and that filled our ADHD hearts with joy. My partner got their industrial done, and I got both tragus. Sam was awesome! I was a total weenie but she didn’t make me feel bad. She was informative, positive, fast and fun. I absolutely love and trust this place so much, they take great care of my piercings during and after. Staff is friendly and very professional. They always wear protective gear to make sure they don’t contaminate tools or skin, I am a loyal client.

Every part of my experience with Powers Tattoo and Piercing was outstanding from start to finish. When my daughters found out I had an appointment with hey asked if they could come along, so I again reached out and they were awesome about making that work for us by moving the appointment up by a half an hour.When we got there the place is clean, bright and eclectic! Sam greeted us and when we asked her about an industrial for my daughter she was honest and ethical about how the piercing was going to look and why! Because of her recommendation we decided against the industrial and went with the tragus! Sam was the most professional piercer I’ve ever been too and her knowledge and integrity are hands down why I would 💯 recommend her and Powers to anyone! Before I picked a place for my piercings I read the reviews. And all the reviews are true! They are very clean, and professional. Sam made me feel so comfortable. I’ve had piercings before, but I get so nervous every time and she has a way of calming you down and making you feel at home. I would recommend this place for everyone! Even if it’s your first time, there’s no judgement if you are nervous. I will be coming back !

Always had a great experience here in the past but not anymore unfortunately. Got a piercing done here and it healed horribly. I assumed it might’ve been my fault but after going to a different piercer to get a second opinion, I was told it was pierced horribly at the wrong angle and completely wrong, not even the right size. I was told it’s happened to alot of people who have gone here as well. I thoguht I could trust this place from the good reviews and fair prices but I was wrong. Never coming back again sadly and have to pay alot to get it fixed now, look elsewhere if you’re getting a piercing!

Went in for piercings today (specifically my second and third on each lobe), Mel was awesome! She made sure that each side was as symmetric as possible and checked with me each time, it made me comfortable knowing that she was trying to make sure I would be as happy with the placement as possible. I first went to Mel to get my Medusa piercing changed out, she professionally informed me that my bar was fat too long and took care of me from there on out! I have had several facial piercings but this is hands down the best piercing shop I have ever been to. Mel is the best piercer, she made my septum piercing basically painless. I got 4 piercings done here by Sam and only have 1 left. I had to take out both of my helix piercings and one Daith piercings after they were done incorrectly. I consulted with another piercer before taking out the daith and she informed me that they were not put in at the right angle. Due to this I was experiencing vertigo like symptoms. She was surprised that the other healed as well as it did despite being incorrect. I am still giving 3 stars because the experience was a good one. Sam did a good job of making me feel comfortable and worked quickly limiting the discomfort to a minimum. I am disappointed that the piercings did not heal correctly. After the appointment I was not given any care instructions I was just told keep them clean

Id been looking forever to find someone in tri cities to pierce my under tongue web and this is only place I could find that was able to do it. Ian did a killer job on my thigh piece. It was my first tattoo and he made me feel comfortable and super excited to be getting tatted by him! I thought the hole had closed and was anticipating a re-piercing.Mel looked at the hole and it was just fine to put a ring into, saving me time and money. I went to see Samantha at Powers for daith and nostril piercings. She was very friendly, calming, and talked me through every step of the daith piercing. When I told her I have had my nostril pierced in the past, she was able to taper my old piercing open and insert a stud with zero pain, when I was positive it had completely closed. They pierced both my nose and cartilage crooked. Had to take out my cartilage because of how bad it was. Got my snake bites done and both fell off in my sleep not even 5 hours after because the piercer didn’t screw the beads on all the way, they were super nice so I was hoping they would give me direction on what to do but they didn’t seem to care when I told them, and acted like it was a normal thing. Would not recommend for piercings

I recently went to Powers for a tattoo from Ian. This is a very clean, and professional shop. Ian absolutely did phenomal on my tattoo. Took my son here to get his ears pierced for his birthday. The staff was polite, welcoming, and professional. The building is clean and the best part is the bathroom. I hung out in the bathroom for 5 minutes just to look around.

It is on the top of my foot, and being that it was a cover-up I was nervous about the outcome. Would you be able to see the previous one? Would the black lines of it show thru? No, he did a fantastic job, altered the flower I wanted just to be sure it was perfect. I am incredibly happy with the result. Ive had people tell me how beautiful it is, and its not even fully healed. I dont think you can go wrong booking with Ian. He is a stand-up dude with a steady hand, and wonderful line and color work. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone and everyone.

I’m 38, scared of anything having to do with needles, I faint at the sight of blood, and I got my first tattoo a month ago. I did a lot of research before I picked Powers Tattoo. They were the only ones that I felt it didn’t matter that what I wanted was a simple name. They made me feel like what I wanted to get was a masterpiece and they were just as interested in getting it right as I was. My appt was the first time I’ve ever been in a tattoo parlor, and the artistic energy was very soothing. It was very clean, professional, with some amazing artwork. Getting the tattoo was an awesome experience! The “pain” was more of an uncomfortable feeling. I talked and joked through the whole thing, it was nothing like anything I’ve ever seen on tv or in movies AND no blood! My artist gave very clear instructions for aftercare and I healed very quickly. It itched once. My white-ink tattoo turned out exactly how I wanted it! Thank you Dylan and Powers Tattoo for an amazing first tattoo experience!

My best friend and I got matching ink by Dylan. He spent near 6hrs working on both of ours. The whole time he was extremely on point and professional. We absolutely love the peices we got. Mel is amazing! I highly recommend this shop for tattoos and piercings, super professional!

I found this shop through google and they did not disappoint I just got a piercing today, the front desk ladies are really nice as well as Mel and she did an awesome job, I was nervous but as soon as she came up to me we started talking she made me forget what I was there for I definitely recommend this place!!!

I dont go anywhere else for piercings in Tri. Staff are knowledgable, kind, and professional
