New Breed

I got a tattoo here about a week and a half ago. Im originally from Kokomo and had heard a lot of good about New Breed. My tattoos looked good (they were both pretty simple). The artist didnt give me much as far as care - just put on the new skin and handed me a paper. I followed the paper to a T but by the following Thursday, they had majorly faded. They have continued to fade and look awful. I have 10 year old tattoos that look better. I reached out to the artist by email about a refund but was told they didnt give refunds. They offered to touch it up though. I wasnt comfortable with that and simply asked to see the policy - I got no response. I called the shop to talk with the owner who wasnt in but I was given his email. I emailed him to let him know what was going on and to see how this could be resolved. He never responded to me. Im very disappointed and upset with how these look.

Let me tell you about Brooke, the piercer.I have been seeing Brooke for almost two and half years now, between check ups and mapping out new piercings. She and I click exceptionally well, and overall I find her to be impeccable in every regard.Brooke is intelligent. Point blank. There is no question she cannot answer in terms of piercings. Whether it’s type, after care, or a general inquiry, Brooke has very good understanding of the ins and out. She is not afraid to admit where her information lacks, willing to say “I’m not sure, but…” and deducting alongside you. She really does go above and beyond, in a way I haven’t ever seen before. She is passionate about what she does and she’s passionate about you as the client as well. I am not the best care-giver to my piercings, but that has never been a scapegoat to be rude or goading for her. She gives grace and is humble, outlining how being human is normal and acceptable. I never feel judged, I never feel slighted, and I always feel welcome and cared for each and every time I’ve stepped into her space.PLEASE! If you want to get a piercing and need guidance- GO SEE BROOKE! She will go on the journey with you. She wants to see you happy and I always leave exhilarated!10/10 service. 10/10 personality. 10/10 human.

Brooke was a constant professional. Very helpful with the stress and making the client feel comfortable. Never once did I sense that it was actually her job, but what she loves to do. Full of information on the healing process and an overall great experience.

Ok, so my past experiences with New Breed have been amazing. This last time I came in, I had a cartilage piercing from a different piercer that wasn’t healing well. I told the piercer at new breed that I just wanted the piercing cleaned and new jewelry put in. She charged me for a whole piercing + the jewelry + cleaner. The piercing still isn’t healing bc she put a very short bar in and there’s no room for swelling or anything. Not happy about being charged so much and not at all happy with my last experience. Listen to the customer! Doubt I’ll ever be back.

Amazing piercer super nice and helpful. Will yell at you if you dont clean them properly 😂. Havent received a tattoo from them yet. But Ive spok3 to a few artists and they are all super nice. The vibes are relaxed and it helps bring down the anxiety

Brooke is AMAZING!! Not only did she do a great job with my initial piercings, she’s committed to the aftercare and continual care of my piercings. She even happily fixed and replaced a piercing that I accidentally pulled out. She is kind, professional, and extremely well educated. I wouldn’t trust anyone else !

I have been to Brooke before and definitely a long time client. I just want to say they were offering a special for a week. She was very very busy. She was very very clean took her time even with a waiting area full. I highly recommend going to her. You will not be disappointed. She’s very knowledgeable and honest which I like. I can’t say enough good things about Brooke! I have had several piercings done by her in the past couple years and she has made me feel comfortable for every one of them! She is very clean and informative on aftercare. I’ve never had a problem with my piercings healing after going to her. I won’t go to anyone else!

I’ve been here twice now and will be for a third time. Brooke pierced my double nostrils and it healed perfectly! Absolutely, kind and welcoming. Super knowledgeable and helpful all the way through the process.I went a second time for a walk in tattoo with my best friend. Evvan Amundson was quick to draw us up something and get us tattooed. He was super kind and helpful, as this was both of us’ first tattoo. Answered all our questions and made sure we were comfortable. Excellent communication and aftercare! I will be going again to get started of my sleeve with him!

The piercer is so good at what she does. Have never had a bad experience with her. Ive had my septum nostril and most recently my daith done. She always get my placement perfect and never continues unless were both on the same page. I will never go to anyone except for her. Highly recommend!

Went in for a shorter post for my nose stud, was greeted immediately even though they were busy. Moriah was awesome at helping me and patient when I had questions. Definitely recommend.

Love the expansion they did on the place, really opened it up and now has really nice booths for tattooing. All my ink Ive gotten here and I highly recommend it. The piercer there is really nice and I recommend getting your jewelery or piercings there, she really cares about her customer

I just got my conch pierced today. Seth did an amazing job! Talked me through it. It took some time to prepare myself, and he was cool with that. He told me when he was going to pierce, so it wasn’t a surprise. I HIGHLY recommend this piercing and tattooing shop! Very clean, and extremely professional, and I love that. Good job!

Always get great work here. Scheduling is always a breeze also.

Very rude staff and tattoo artists never get back to you about your appointment. They all spend more time walking around complaining about customers than actually tattooing. That or they straight up decline your request. Would not recommend, youre much better off going our of town for this sort of stuff.

Brooke is a great piercer, shes done my Bridge piercing and my two snake bites. all three are totally how i wanted them and shes done everything very kindly. will be going to her for my future piercings too :)

I went into New Breed for my first piercing and Seth was the guy to pierce my ears. He was super nice and cool and quick with the procedure. He explained everything very thoroughly and easily. So if you are in town and want to get a tattoo or piercing, I would highly recommend New Breed.

Went in with my daughter tonight, and the place is nice, clean, the people are nice and my daughter tattoo artist was really nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Sorry I didnt get his name he really deserves a shout out. Whoever the smaller guy was at 8p.m tonight🤗 And I love her tattoo❤

Brooke did my ni*ple piercings a few months ago - she was AMAZING. I have had several other piercings done by another piercer and he was awesome, but retired. I was so nervous going to a new piercer, especially for such a tender area I’d never gotten done before. Their shop is nice, clean, they’re all professional, and there was a super nice and private room for us to go into for the actual piercings. Brooke explained everything amazingly well, from what she was about to do, to healing and aftercare. It was a great experience. I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else! The piercings look great, the healing process has been much better than I expected (from what I’ve been told by other peoples’ experiences with ni*ple piercings). Hoping to go in again soon and maybe see Brooke again! She made my transition between piercers easy and she did a fabulous job on my piercings.

My daughter got her ears pierced by Seth King. It was her first piercings so she was nervous. Seth took the time to make sure she was comfortable and understood everything that he was doing. He is enthusiastic about his job and it shows in his professionalism. 10/10.

Got a re-piercing by Bryan and it was virtually painless! Not at all as bad as my first! Everyone was very friendly as well!

I got a piercing from theses guys about two years ago and couldn’t get them out to change, went to the shop and Brooke Nicole took me back got them out and my new set in within a matter of minutes! Super cool and sweet! Thanks for taking care of me girl!🤙🏽

So far, Ive only gotten two piercings here. I got a tattoo at the one in Lafayette. Any time I go in for a piercing, theyre all super knowledgeable about any questions I have. If I call up there with anything theyll help. Jake even helped me change out my tongue piercing the first time because I was nervous if it was healed all the way. I love coming in because the shop just has a homey feel... remember to tip your piercer/tattoo artist though!

The guy when I walked was rude. Told me the piercer was getting ready to go on break. Then made a face at me. He had no customer service. Said I had to come back in 30 min. The place wasn’t busy. Not like there was a line around the place. This was the second day in a row I tried to get a piercing changed out.

I came here 8 years ago... Today I brought my BFF and her 16 year old daughter who just turned 16 here to get her nose pierced too! Carrying on the NB tradition! Great people and great business!

The last tattoo i had done bleed way more than it should’ve, and their current piercer pierced my flat at an angle. also had my second and thirds done and they weren’t placed out correctly. still trying to heal after months of being done

My two teenagers got nose piercings. The gentleman who did it was super nice. He was very informative with cleaning instructions etc. Will definitely go back again! 💯

Went in for a navel piercing a few days ago. Very clean, fast, and an overall good experience but after looking at my piercing in the mirror, it’s set about 1/2 inch too high which is known to lead to higher risk of rejection of the piercing and it is obviously crooked. Wouldn’t come pack for a piercing.

I decided to get my daith pierced to help with my chronic migraines. Matt was wonderful, very knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. Its been one month since and Ive had 3 headaches, but 0 migraines!!! This is a tremendous improvement. I Highly recommend Matt!!!

Great day with Daughter and granddaughter. Granddaughters 16 th birthday got belly pierced. Daughter got her first tattoo. They both were beautiful. Staff great, friendly,helpful. Great atmesphere.

Waited there and were told the guy who pierces would be right back. After 10 minutes he shows up. The person who waited on us completely forgets we were next. So in the midst of him playing on his phone instead of working we were skipped. Lost our current and future business due to poor work ethic and professionalism.

Brooke the peircer was super efficient with the actual peircing and made sure to answer any questions I had. She talked me through the entire process before and during the peircing!

10 stars if I could. This place is fantastic! I just needed a quick jewelry change for my job and they were super accommodating and helpful! I will definitely go here for anything body jewelry or piercings.

Both tattoos I got blew completely out, you can tell the lines were pushed too hard, gonna need a cover up on both hands… not very professional work .

Went here when my labret was pierced wrong it took her awhile and it was painful but she got me through it and fixed me up should have went to her first lol

Went in to see about some cover up work. Was told 1 pass with the laser would lighten it up enough to do the cover up. 2 passes later still not much better. Ive had laser work done before and it ia clear that they are slow walking people with the laser now to train and sandbag money. If you arent personal friends with these guys dont expect fair treatment. One of my passes didnt even get completed because the laser died. Was there an offer to finish the pass? Nope! Stay away from new breed.

Ive gotten three ear piercings done now and they have all been great experences.. daith, Shen men and rook .. fair price, nice staff, very clean, and very professional.. also appreciated how to take care of my piecings was explained to me in a way that didnt make me feel dumb or belittled .. highly recommend 🤩
