I cannot say how glad I am Jake did my tattoos. I asked for a realistic photo of my pup who now past and he did a wonderful memorial tattoo for her. I have always been nervous about getting my girl tattooed that I would not be happy with the art or capture he spirit. Jake did amazing on both now I always have her smile.

My tattoos arent a great example of Jakes artistic ability, but he does a great job memorializing the dogs that I have been gifted with.

Miguel did an amazing job on my tattoo, I asked for more when I arrived than Id originally told him. He added details without hesitation. Was very personable to both my mother and I. Took his time. The location is a bit eccentric but not bad in any way. We met with the owner Jake as well and he was very accommodating and friendly. This is my 3rd tattoo, by my 3rd artist, but I can guarantee you I wont have another artist. Im a lifer at Twisted Skull now. Cant wait to go back.

I have gotten 10 tattoos done by Miguel now over the last year, and I have absolutely no plans to go to any other artist. Every tattoo has been exactly what I wanted, and he is very accommodating to any last minute changes that I have or any small changes I want to make. I constantly have people ask me where I have my tattoos done and with no hesitation I send them to Miguel. He does a fantastic job, is very personable, and Twisted Skull is the place to go. I have never had a problem there every time I go in, and I highly recommend it to any one looking to get tattooed in La Crosse.

Got matching Mother and Daughter Tatoos, very simple designs but i did have a chance to look through the portfolios and was amazed by the artists here. Jake is awesome, I felt so comfortable with him. Warm, inviting atmosphere with great people. HIGHLY recommend to everyone!

Nice place, great people.I walked in off the street and was surprised by the appearance of the place. Its well decorated and clean. The staff was friendly and professional. The artist gave good advice regarding size, placement, and coloration of the tattoo. Tattooing was done out in the open rather than behind a curtain: the shop is probably only big enough to accommodate 2 or 3 artists. Mike did my tattoo that afternoon and he did a great job. I was given products and written instructions on how to care for my new tattoo. Im very pleased and would definitely recommend this place.

I always feel comfortable walking into this place. The Tattoo artists take the time to listen to your ideas and are very helpfully... I can see why Twisted Skull Studios is voted the best in Lacrosse This is the place to go for the best tattoo... The hours of the shop are also a plus not open late for the bar crowd. The atmosphere of the shop is also very relaxed. Give this place a try.

As someone who has had multiple artist work on me. Over 20 hours of work done, Jake was a fantastic artist. He helped me work around an already started chest piece, he really made me enjoy the experience again, after a mutilated chest piece done prior.

They were able to get me and my friend in about 30 minutes after we called! Ben was really friendly and super quick about everything, and the quality he produced was amazing. Highly recommend getting your tattoo done here!

Miguel is a beast! Hes done my lower half sleeve, and my upper arm. If you want black and gray, and you want realism, then you want Miguel! Will be back. Drove over 9 hours to use Miguel and will be driving back in a few months! Shop is super rad with awesome decoration, and is super clean. Cant recommend enough!

I brought in a small drawing similar to what I wanted. Ben took it and made it something so much more than what I ever could have done. He took my small vision and made a beautiful piece of art. I will come back for sure. While tattooing, he answered all my questions. Made me feel at ease. Didnt act like I was stupid or anything. Very good place.

If you’re looking to get a tattoo, you need to go into twisted skull and ask for Miguel. He doesn’t waste your time or your money, and I guarantee if you get a tattoo from him you will be more than happy with the results. I don’t plan on ever getting tattooed by anyone else anytime soon.

Very Disappointed, called for a walk in appointment, was told there was an opening and said i would check with my friend to see if it worked. 5 minutes later we physically went in to the studio to confirm with one artist and asked if we needed to leave a name or phone number for the appointment and the artist said no just to return at our appointment time. We return an hour later at our appointment time to get our tattoos and the artist said he no longer could tattoo us because he had booked another group. Was looking forward to being tattooed by the artist but will not be returning due to the disorganization and chance of losing another appointment 40 minutes away.

My sister got her tattoo done here. She was so nervous but the artist was very gentle with his hand and extremely understanding. Her tattoo turned out AMAZING!

The BEST shop downtown for sure. the cost quality cleanliness and customer service is the highest quality too... only thing is if your a chick go for missy shes an awesome artist and the other guys a sexest dont get me wrong hes great too but didnt care for the superiority complex

The only place to go in La Crosse if you want a great looking custom tattoo. If it werent for the sound of tattoo needles buzzing you wouldnt even know it was a tattoo studio when you first walk in. Make sure to go in and check out the artwork that is available there as well.
