Hands down - best tattoo experience I’ve ever had! I drove all the way from Minneapolis to get my tattoo by Ty and it was worth every single mile and dollar!!! The 7 years Ty has spent honing his skills really shows! Every line was smooth and delicate and all of the connections were flawless! He not only does absolutely stunning fine line tattoos, but is also down to earth and fun to chat with! Super easy to work with from finding an appointment time to collaborating on a design to sitting for the actual tattoo! This was my fifth tattoo and is my biggest and most visible. I’m absolutely in love with it and I’ve gotten so many compliments! Without doubt I will absolutely be coming back to Ty for all of my future tattoos! I can’t recommend him highly enough!

An absolutely amazing experience! Ty was super patient when workinf with me on getting my tattoo just the way I wanted it. We booked out 2 different sessions to get my flower bouquet perfect. His work is definitely the best Ive seen when it comes to fine line and he is super thorough throughout the entire process, making sure everything is to your liking and exactly how you want it. My first tattoo was also with him and I dont regret my decision in choosing him as my artist whatsoever. Ty has been absolutely amazing to work with. He is extremely great with communication and you can tell her is confident in his work and knowledge. I have loved every single tattoo I have gotten from him so far and I am currently in the midst of a patchwork sleeve with him. His work is very different than any other tattoos I have seen, he is extremely attentive to detail which makes each tattoo more beautiful regardless of sizing. His pricing is completely on point with how beautiful the work is as well. I won’t be going anywhere else ever again for any other work. Ty is the only one I trust with a tattoo gun! He’s always so welcoming and willing to work with me to get exactly what I want. His studio is super clean and well put together. We traveled 5 hours from Missouri to get tattoos from Ty and we are over the moon about them. Booking with Ty was so easy and he was very kind and willing to work with our crazy schedule. We won’t be back. Rude and disrespectful. How he runs a business I don’t know. Should have walked out. Paid 150 for a 3 minute tattoo and him getting frustrated not liking the 2 Pinterest images he picked out. Saying size wouldn’t be the issue then making it an issue about wanting it smaller. Arrogantly telling us we wouldn’t find a better fine line artist in Nebraska. Paying that much you’d think he’d consider maybe drawing something unique. At best a 50 tattoo. Cousin had the same experience but wasn’t aware till after the fact. Bedside manner needs improvement but I guess when you make more money than a surgeon you can be that arrogant.

I would recommend everyone to go to Ty for any tattoo! Not only is he very friendly and his work is great but he made sure to run through everything in detail, and took the time to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted, uses high-quality supplies, when we asked he gave us his input as an artist on his opinion on the placement and lettering, and does as many free touchups which really stood out to my best friend and I when we got our tattoos by him!

His shop was under construction, and he messaged me to let me know, but was super professional about the whole thing. He is a great person, and is human just like the rest of us! I as a young woman was scared to go to his shop alone as I did not know him prior to this, but he made me feel very comfortable! He talked me through the whole appointment and told me the downfalls of certain placements and was very upfront about issues with placements down the line. All around, I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to get a fine line tattoo in the Lincoln area because he did a wonderful job and I am extremely happy with my first two fine line done by him. I have 4 tattoos now, All of them done by Ty! He is very educated on what he does and can tell you where the best places would be to get fine line tattoos, and what sizes would make them turn out the best. My first appointment I got 2 small ones, I was very nervous but he was very nice and his overall confidence in his abilities made me feel a lot better. My second appointment was a little bit bigger and had more details but still made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. My last appointment I got my first script and I am absolutely obsessed. It looks exactly like the font i chose and i couldn’t imagine it looking any better. My first 2 were done in April and the 3rd was in July, they still look as perfect as the day I got them! Will for sure be going back to Ty, he is very experienced and very good at what he does!

I unfortunately did not have the best experience with Ty. He seemed rushed and didn’t talk to me much during the tattoo . He also stopped in the middle of the session to take a personal phone call. The line work on my tattoo is not the greatest and I personally don’t think I will be booking with him again. However, Ty has been very nice and understanding about the whole situation. He seems very passionate about his work and I understand everyone has their off days, as many of his other pieces look great.

He definitely has a fan following, myself included! He was very communicative and positive/friendly which I appreciated. I sent him some ideas...he validated that he could do them. Tys studio is awesome. Very clean, great art on the walls and music, chill earthy good energy vibe. He took his time, was extremely focused and detail oriented - and made sure I was happy with the designs before he began. If the tattoos need touch-up, he will fix them free of charge anytime. I went to him for his thin single line work, and I was so so happy with the outcome. I will definitely go back to Ty for any further single line work! He is a good soul and has great care and dedication for his artful work.
