Great experience all around the board! All the staff was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in me getting my first tattoo. Dylan gave me my tattoo, and he was truly excellent! He always made sure I was comfortable and made sure to make the process as easy for me as possible. The environment in the parlor is super nice and clean.

My uncle and I both got tattoos yesterday (04/29/23) courtesy of Miguel (mine) and Dylan (my uncle’s). They came out amazing and exactly how we wanted them - as walk-ins too! The receptionist was extremely helpful and patient with us as we were filling out our paperwork and getting our quotes and the artists were both very personable and most importantly cleanly/hygienic as well as clearly experienced at tattooing. Definitely will be returning for future work and would recommend to anyone!

Just got my septum done by Amber and she’s great! Very good at explaining things, nice, and quick. The lady at the desk was really nice too :)

Got a piercing here the other day, probably won’t come back. people at the front desk are very rude. my piercing was great and the piercer was nice. but the customer service alone is a good reason not to come back. go a block down the road and you can get it for cheaper and the people there are actually nice.

I’m new to Arkansas & this was the first shop I’ve been to!! I was blown awayyy with the professionalism and customer service!! They were so kind and efficient getting me a quote. The artist drew up my tat and got me in and out super quick. Not to mention the tattoo came out gorgeous! Dylan did my tattoo & Amber pierced my nose! They were both very thorough. Starting coming here after my daughter had a bad nose piercing done somewhere else & Amber did an amazing job with her! We were so happy that we started getting tattoos & Dani has done beautiful work for her & my oldest daughter. My 1st artist is no longer there but everyone is so much fun to be around that I will keep coming back🩷. Dylan did my latest & I love it. We are planning to go again next week 😆

My first professional tattoo and chose the right place and the right artist. Miguel is very professional and knowledgeable in his art. He hooked me up with a memorable tribal piece that not only looks amazing but fits me to the T. Done completely freehand in just a couple of hours his experience shined through. Thanks Miguel.

Dani has done my arm in solid red, and black bands around the wrist. Really laid back shop with some cool people. Super easy to talk to, and have always enjoyed my time while getting a tattoo. Dani and the rest of the shop there are really kind people. The toys for tots promotion they do is a wild deal, such a great thing they do and you can get a tattoo for next to nothing. I recommend this shop for sure, worth checking out at least.

I went here three times now and I love All of my piercings. I had my tragus piercing, my forward helix piercing and my conch piercing. They all hurted but worth it.

Took their time, extremely clean, patient, honest, great artists with honest opinion s and hot ideas. My daughter got this by Darron and its perfection! So great I wanted one too. Great experience. Very relaxing atmosphere. We ll definitely be back.

My piercing isn’t healed yet, so I will not add a picture. I made the very impulsive decision to get a vertical labret piercing on a Sunday and this was the only place open. I didn’t do any research and I was really scared when I went in but I just really wanted it done. Amber was amazing. She did it perfectly, and even cooperated with me whenever I was being indecisive! She was so helpful. It was a wonderful experience. I would recommend this place to anybody in the area. Thank you so much Amber💖💖

Miguel.... Im in love with the tattoo you basically free handed entirely. It was in honor of my meemaw and matches her stitching she made and gave to me. You didnt even see the stitching of the wolf, but just by my describing her and the symbolization you created what I consider a perfect piece of art that I absolutely love. Shout out to Empire and Miguel, Dani, Johnny entire staff!

Amber was absolutely amazing. I brought my Austin adult son there to get his ears pierced. She understood his special needs on communication and talked him through every step. She was patient and kind. Would recommend her for any piercing needs

OMG!!! I had such a delightful experience. The inside is amazing with all of the different tattoo ideas around. It is a very clean place with great employees. I had the wonderful pleasure of getting tattooed by the artist Miguel! Dude he was super nice, works fast, his work is SUPER neat (yayyy) and he’s not heavy handed (thank god). Went in for a walk in piercing and everyone was super friendly and professional! Masks are required currently and everything was very clean and my piercer was professional and Im in love with my new piercing. Even on a Saturday night, they got me in and finished quickly. Highly recommend!

They were super professional and I was nervous to do color but Johnny convinced me and im so happy he did. He did such a gorgeous piece and 10/10 would go back! I also got my medusa and nose pierced here about 6 months ago and it healed perfectly. would go back for another.

Clean, friendly, and overall a great atmosphere. Was able to get my left ear pierced with no trouble at all. They also provide a nice informative packet which tells you how to properly clean it, ect. Most likely gonna come back for a tattoo at some point. Knew it was the right place when I walked in, and re-runs of The Office were playing on the T.V. in the lobby.Edt: Came back for two more piercings. Just as perfect as the first time 👍

I’m not sure if I wrote a review the last time I was here, so this review is for both experiences. First, my boyfriend and I got our first tattoos from Chad. He was excellent and made us feel comfortable. Second time around (today), Krystal gave us two piercings each, in our earlobes. She was amazing. She walked us through everything she was doing. I would recommend this place to anyone who wanted to get a piercing or tattoo.

I got a large tattoo here about 3 years ago, and absolutely love it! Well fast forward to last week, I came in as a “walk in”. I wanted a small tattoo, and the front desk lady got me a quote, but was unsure exactly when she could get me in. I got there about 2pm, she asked the artist for an estimated time and he said an hour or 2. I went home then called back to see if he was ready, and then he apparently had an appointment to do another tattoo by this time… the front desk said “I promise we’ll get you in today”… I didn’t get a call for the rest of the day. I felt my small tattoo was just pushed aside. But I’m sure if I wanted another big tattoo that cost more money, they could have made time for me. It’s unfortunate because I used to talk this place up; there are some amazing pieces that come out of here. I’m not sure if I’ll come back though, after this last experience.

We had such an amazing time at Empire Tattoo. I went in and had my snakebites redone and I got my septum pierced. Krystal is very gentle and she is a great conversationalist.While waiting our turn for my piercings, my husband has a piece of flash catch his eye. The tattoo artist, Dannie, was phenomenal. She was fast and very friendly. We felt right at home there and its going to be our new body modification home. Go check em out! Just set up a consult and youll be able to see why its a great place to put your faith in some amazing artists.

I went to have my nose pierced recently and I chose this place because it offers a really good price and Crystal was super sweet! I didnt even make an appointment, I just walked in and I got seen in less than 5 minutes. Crystal made sure I liked the placement of my piercing before she did it. She made me feel really comfortable and explained everything that was happening, especially with all the tools and the cleanliness of it with COVID. I highly recommend going to see her! I cant speak for my experience with any of the tattoo artists, but I was thoroughly impressed by the service and for a good price! It was around $45 for my piercing with tax. Please make sure you tip! She deserves every penny for sure!

My Husband & I both went in today to get my bellybutton pierced and his bridge pierced.Our Piercer was Krystal. She is AMAZING, super sweet, talks you through everything she does, and she did a fantastic job on both of our piercings. I will definitely be coming back! :)Now on the shop and the other employees.The shop is badass itself! I didn’t get to catch the front desk girls name but she was so sweet too. Beyond an artist from here named miguel “hope i spelled that correctly my guy” giving me a solid tattoo and my ex a very solid cover up. I had a tattoo that I really wasn’t happy with from someone working a different shop and I knew I need it it covered. They have a reputation for quality and I’ve gotten nice work done there so I reached out to John the owner and he gave me a cover up tattoo that has honestly changed my outlook on what a quality piece of art is. I went from having something I’d hide and show no one to something I got tons of positive feedback on and more than that I’m proud to have on my body. It’s also a great vibe. I had a session that needed breaks I felt welcome and enjoyed every second of hanging out with staff. If you’re in Arkansas and you want what I’d consider a step above professional quality work and overall just a a good time hanging out with the crew there you won’t be disappointed. The only negative that’s not a negative is you will catch the bug and be inspired for more ink the second you walk out. Just understand these guys are passionate and professional. They’re not here to just to give you tattoo they’re here to give you body art that you’ll be proud of for as long as your living. To say I look forward to coming back is an understatement. If you want a flash tat go for it! And if you want a bada$$ piece of art by artist who take pride in their work come get a quality piece of art on you this is the spot

Came in today for my first tattoo, they got me in fairly quickly after I arrived. They have nice staff and our tattoo artist Miguel was great! The music playing was pretty good and the tattoo on my foot went pretty smooth, he was very gentle! Great first tattoo experience. Will be back to see Miguel!

Very friendly place. I had an issue with a piercing that I got at another parlor. The place that did it was closed on this particular day so I went to Empire. Crystal was amazing and helpful. She tried so hard to help me with my problem so that my money wasnt wasted on my piercing bit ultimately all of her attempts were unsuccessful. I do not blame her nor the place that did it because no one could have know my face was going to swell like that. I appreciate how kind and gently she tried to fix the problem and she was just wonderful. She tried very hard to get a new, longer bar in my lip but it was just to swollen. The place I got it done is going to Pierce it again at no cost since the bar was to short. Great place for sure.

First off, DANI was nothing short of AMAZING.Im new to the state and was referred to her through a friend. Shes beyond talented and her work shows it! The place itself was great too! Super clean, super friendly staff, nice, tidy artist rooms. DID I MENTION HOW CLEAN IT WAS? Plus, theyre involved in helping the community, which I love! I definitely recommend.

Went as part of the Out of the Ashes fundraiser. Whole shop made the first timer experience as easy as possible. Front desk was kind and answered my questions. Miguel made me feel completely comfortable and at ease with the process. Overall, the shop seemed really clean too! Absolutely could not recommend more!

My friend Gabby and I showed up an hour before they closed and Miguel managed to get both of our tattoos done in less than an hour with both of them looking flawless! This was first tattoo so I was super nervous but Miguel made it an amazing experience! I will definitely be back for more!!

It was better than I expected it to be. Price was reasonable as well. Staff was amazing, and they made me feel welcome- especially as a first timer!

I got two piercings by Krystal! I recommend her to anyone who is trying to find a good piercer. You can visibly see she makes sure every thing is very sterile. I ended up having issues with one (not her fault), so I went back up there and she was happy to address it for me with no issues!!

It took me a while to post this since my phone broke, but I can for sure give them 5 stars!We went to 4 different tattoo parlors and empire was the ONLY that sat down with us and looked at our tattoo ideas and gave us a price.The other places would glace at our pictures we brought and give a price range without letting us explain any intricate details. The tattoo was pretty simple but since it was my husbands first tattoo, I wanted this done right. Miguel tattooed both of us and it was great he was respectful, nice and informative about aftercare.Definitely going back to him for our next one! Highly recommend!

I went with no appointment and a fairly bad picture of what I wanted. They worked with me easily, and Miguel drew it up by himself. He did an awesome job, with the drawing and tattoo. Its my second one getting done by Miguel, and I highly recommend him.

I dont really write reviews but i felt like i had to for here. So I dont do good with needles and pain, but I love getting tattoos... which is not the greatest mix. Dani was my tattoo artist and she was SUPER understanding and helpful throught the entire process. She was REALLY easy to talk to but completely focused on her work at the same time. She went outside her comfort zone to do a black and white for me and did an AMAZING JOB! I will definitely be coming back to her for all my other tats. Thank you Dani!

My appointment was scheduled at 2PM today for a belly piercing Krystal was freaking AWESOME!!!! She examining my belly to make sure first if I could get it pierced (she picked out a beautiful jewelry perfect for skin complexion) then she marked where the piercing would go and made sure I looked at it to make sure it was in the center. Finally she told me to take a deep breathe on the count of 3 and TADAAA it was FINISHED quick fast easy and didn’t hurt at all!!! She also went over how to take proper care of the piercing!! Well done krystal I definitely will be back again sometime

I had a piercing that bothered me even after 3 years of being in. Ive had other piercers try to correct it but it only made the problem worse. I took the ring out just to stop the pain, but ended up not being able to put the ring back in. I went to Dave and literally after a day the pain stopped. Literal miracle worker, but Im sure the quality of the jewelry contributed. Very friendly atmosphere and great customer service. I will definitely continue to come here for all my piercings!

I came in today for my first tattoo ( July, 21 2019) and let me tell you...Miguel was absolutely amazing and I was more than happy with my tat. The staff is super friendly and make you feel at home. NEGATIVE 5 STARS!! THE UGLY MAN ATTITUDE ANSWERED THE PHONE. All I wanted to do was ask a general question and he began being very rude. Its not my fault you are not happy and it displays with his attitude. I will never spend my money with someone that talk to their customers like he did with me. Do NOT and I repeat do NOT go to this tattoo shop, youll come out being just as upset. Customer service is horrible!! Run. Run. Run. Run as fast as you can.

Came in to setup an appointment for a sleeve, 20 minutes before my appointment I had an emergency and had to reschedule. They said if I didnt reschedule within a 2 day period, I forfeit my deposit, designs, everything just because of an emergency. They didnt once suggest rescheduling for the same time. DO NOT USE THEM

I have been there before and they were rude just like the first time. I had issues with the atm and but my sister tried to work on the issue. How was I gonna walk out without paying who in the right mind would walkout without paying as a business person I know and they were rude too. As a person of color you better take your business elsewhere PERIOD.

So far both experiences Ive had were very pleasant. The shop has a very laid back vibe and I straight forward process to get to the back. Miguel has done both of mine and both times left has if my image was printed on my skin. Mad props my dude.

Ive actually gotten a tattoo there before and 5 of my friends. Ive tried to go back 2 other times. The lady at the front desk is so unprofessionally rude I dont know how they even stay in business on her customer service alone. I witnessed her talk to others in the lobby waiting the same way. We potentially walk out and got great service down the street. Unacceptable!!!!!! Will not ever patronize thier buiness again.

This place is the only tattoo parlor that’ll I’ll ever use. It’s extremely clean first of all. Everybody there does good work. Darion did my last 2 tattoos. One tattoo is of my dog’s paw print that recently passed away and my other one is a treble clef and bass clef in the shape of a heart. I️ definitely would recommend this place if you want to get some good quality ink for an affordable price. Anyone leaving bad reviews probably showed up 30 minutes before closing and expected to get 5 hours or so worth of work done—which is nonsense.

I came in with a friend to each get a tattoo done and called ahead and told them what I wanted and they said they would have time to do it. We get there pay for my friends tattoo and they begin setting up for it and tell me they wont have time to do mine even though they had just said they would. So I even tried to compromise and asked if I got it smaller if theyd have time and again they said no to come back tomorrow. So I was pissed about that but I caled back the next day to make sure theyd have time to do it, and again they said no but to call back on a later day and theyd try to do it. The customer service is ridiculous, and common sense should tell you if two people come in together to get tattoos you should let them know on advance if you can only do one of them. Ill never go back to this place. Oh and not to mention they quoted me one price then when it came time to write it down raised the price by almost $100.00. The only reason Im giving them 2 stars instead of 1 is because the work. The guy who did my friends tattoo was nice enough and did a good job matching it to what she wanted. But Id go somewhere else in a heartbeat.

I had my 18th birthday yesterday and decided to get piercings to celebrate. Krystal was amazing. I wasn’t sure what to expect and I did get extremely light-headed but she took very good care of me and made sure that I was alright before I left. Krystal, if you read this: YOU ROCK!

I am 49 and a grandma, so when I wanted a tattoo, I was a little nervous! I chose a beautiful Chinese Hope symbol on the back of my neck. They were WONDERFUL! Very nice to me, the pain was minimal, and it was quick! I recommend them for ALL your tats and they also do piercings.

The experience was terrible!! Had appointment for piercings they acted like they didn’t wanna pierce me and my friend from the beginning kept telling us to reschedule. Sat their for over 30 minutes past our appointment decided to take mine and another girls temp wouldn’t show us my friend apparently had a fever then said “well our ac doesn’t work” then said they had to kick her out. Very rude do not recommend!!

Daughter got her 3rd piercing for both ears, a bit pricey but excellent job and clean facilities, staff was helpful and kind.

Empire of Ink is the best place to get tattoos or piercings. The staff is Awesome and always makes sure the customer leaves happy. Johnnie and his staff are truly talented people. I have had numerous tattoos done won’t go anywhere else!! Keep it up guys!

I had went up there to get a tattoo. The artist ask when did I wanted it done. I told him today. He had an appointment at 4:30pm & told me he can do after that appointment. The receptionist desk lady said they will call my number when he is ready. I stay in Little Rock all day for them to call me & I wasn’t from there. I told them that. After about 5:30pm, I went back up there to see if the artist was done. The receptionist told me someone else was in there & I will have to make an appointment & put a deposit down after they have already told me they will call me when he was done with the 4:30pm appointment time. They do 1st come & 1st serve. I never received a called & they had me waiting in Little Rock all those hours for no reason.

I went to have 4 piercing at once done. Tragus, conch, daith and rook. Amber did all four of these. And this was under the supervision of supposedly the best piercer there, Crystal. My daith was pierced crooked and automatically was pushed out the next week at work due to swelling from the angle. Then she pierced my rook too thin and only let me know hours later on Facebook when she was feeling guilty. She made sure to keep my jewelry so I couldn’t go anywhere else to get this done. Then I went to go get my tragus looked at by a professional and they said I would never be able to wear a ring or anything but A stud. And it would be a piercing length bar that would be a pain to always order. So basically I’m out three piercings (about 100 bucks) and the only thing they had to tell me was if I had a known before, because I’m the expert right, they would have given me my refund. But they basically told me to screw myself on the money I’m out. Please do not go to this place, you’ll be paying more at another but you’ll get what you pay for

Me and my friend went to go get piercing and everyone was so sweet! The lady at the front desk calmed my nerves and Dave did the piercing so quick and they came out perfect. Cant wait to go back and get a tattoo

Everybody at Empire is extremely welcoming and helpful. Theyve had a very busy past few weeks with the Toys for Tatts special and are still handling business exceptionally well. Not to mention the awesome tattoo I received and the fact that its for a great cause. They have definitely gained a new long term customer.Also, in regards to any negative comments posted recently about the Toys for Tatts special, its a little hard to get in to get a tattoo at 5:30pm on a Thursday when people started lining up at 10:30am (most people would expect this). And for the record, the guy at the front is not a douchebag. He was very helpful and courteous even with the massive amounts of customers :)

I got a large leg piece fixed and done a year ago on Oct 9 absolutely love it!! The people there are great and friendly!! Only bad thing was Im allergic to the red dye in the tat. Not their fault cause I didnt even know lol. Im goin back real soon!!

Front staff comes off very rude for no reason. The woman working the front desk was rude on the phone and she was rude in person as well. Honestly my favorite place to go to. I know I will leave with good quality work that Ill love forever. I never feel stressed in the environment everyone is very friendly. When Im there I feel like im just chillin with my not so average family. I will go there for the rest of my life. I love being there. Its not only ink therapy which I love its just a place for me to escape and relax. I love everyone at empire its always a wonderful time.

My tattoo is missing ink in some spots. Sure she said I could come in for a touch up for free but I live out of town and I expect to have a simple tattoo like I got to have all the ink actually in my skin. She was really nice and the actual outline doesnt look bad at all, but she didnt go deep enough. Update its literally looking like the ink is just scabing off and with some of the ink missing in spots it looks terrible.

My nose piercing the 2nd day began embedding in my nose. Obviously it was too tight when it was not touched or anything, I had to pay $22 to fix. There are cheaper places that do it correctly on the first day.

If I could give this place a lower score I would. One star does not begin to cover the awful service I received from Empire Tattoo. Completely unprofessional and just over all awful quality. A sign in the lobby reads Prices subject to change according to the customers attitude, a small warning to the immaturity and shitty attitude of the employees and management. If you have any respect for yourself and your body, dont go here. Find somewhere else and find it quickly.

Great people, amazing work and excellent prices. They know what theyre doing and are very friendly. Very clean, sterile and educated. This is the only place I go to get my tattoos.

I got my 2nd Tattoo at Empire Tattoo in Little Rock the gentleman that did it was amazing his name was Chad. He made me feel comfortable and he also talked to me while he was working. If i ever get anorher one i will return ro Empire and let the same man Chad give me my next one. Thanks Empire for such a great experience.

Its where I always go to get my ink. Krystal is a great piercer. And Johnny is awesome, ok, so all the artists there are pretty amazing. Pricing is also reasonable. Love it

I went a year ago to get a tattoo and now I am in the process of trying to get another one! Good customer service and the guy ( I wish I remembered his name) who did my tat was dope! Cannot wait for my next one!

I LOOOOVVEEEE Johnny! He has such a great personality. He is a gifted artist and the only one who I use for tats. The staff are always friendly and the place is always clean and sterile.

Even if the prices are high, they still do a great job and what its worth no matter how much it is. No one takes notice that the piercing is once price and the jewelry adds to it. Also reading their responses to 1 star reviews gave me a laugh lol. I would literally reply with the same thing.

Came in without an appointment. Was greeted by friendly staff who were eager to help. Great work for a fair price. Definitely would recommend to others and will be going back

If you want to leave early on a Saturday night CHANGE YOUR BUSINESS HOURS PLEASE!!!! Don’t turn away paying customers 30 min before your sign says you close. If you stop taking clients at 9, your hours of operation should read CLOSE AT 9! We drove over an hour one way to come bc of the awesome reviews on google and still very disappointed

Great place to get a tattoo. It was clean and sanitary. Dani was really nice, and took time to explain the process of getting a tattoo. She has great customer service skills, and Ill be back.

Really nice people! Very well ran business especially during deals when people are lined up out the door! They have a deal right now Toy for Tats and its amazing how they donate their time just so kids can have toys for Christmas!!!!

I had a great experience with Miguel. He did a great job on covering up a previous tattoo...long story!! I told him what I wanted and he delivered. I’m about a month out and my tattoo is healing beautifully. I look forward to working with him again in the future.

Everyone there is amazing they make you feel so comfortable and they joke around a lot. I had a big piece done there and a piercing . the guy with the tatt above his brow and john and dani are everything. If you want a good laugh and a bad ass tattoo its the place to go

Wayyy overly expensive. Darion was horribly sexist and very disrespectful with some of the words he choosed to use. I have tons of tattoos. And I have never disliked any of my experiences. Empire tattoo is probably a awesome place but I would get a tattoo with someone else. Thats just my opinion.

I love this place, and there is nowhere else I would go. Service is wonderful tattoo artists are friendly and very helpful picking out and understanding what your needs are. I will ONLY go to empire. I would urge everybody to do the same!

There are better places for cheaper remember always check out someones previous art before getting a tattoo not just that book on the table because you never know what artist did what . I did and found better and cheaper very disappointed in my tattoo after I got this new one done and was able too see and feel the difference in how I was tattooed .

This was actually my second time getting a tattoo at Empire and the staff was very friendly knowledgeable and my tattoo is awesome. Love the atmosphere that had some music going great conversation and my tattoo is slamming thanks to John.

I would not recommend this tattoo shop. The staff was very unprofessional and rude and they only had one person to do piercings which is odd because it’s a tattoo and piercing shop. I came in at 6:26 pm and before I got in the door they were saying we don’t accept people after 6:30 , without even asking what I wanted.
