Walked in and staff were VERY friendly! Went to Sage for my tattoo and she was VERY professional, clean, and all around just a really great personality! 10/10, will always recommend Sage! Everyone at this shop cares about their customers and the environment they create! Go give them a try! You wont regret it!

Jessica and Noel are extraordinary! After a not so great experience with an artist that was at their shop, Jessica was so wonderful and gracious when I contacted her. I only wanted to let her know about what happened, and instead she not only had my deposit refunded, she and Noel got me taken care of. Honestly, they are incredibly professional. They care about their business and us clients. They are exceedingly humble and amazing. 10/10 will always recommend!

Do NOT recommendIf you need more then 1 session to finish your tattoo this is NOT the place for you. The people are cool and the work is good quality. But the utter DISRESPECT of my time is so unprofessional. I wanted to start a sleeve and every appointment was canceled, ghosted, or finished early because of illness or aches or last minute emergencies. Because of this I was offered a peice of my sleeve for free. I always had to double/triple message my artist for a response and would often not get a response until after the established date for me to come in. When I arrived I would often sit in the lobby for about an hour before the artist would come out to talk to me.Then the artist moved mid tattoo and I had to nag him to get contact info for another artist that could finish the peice. The 2nd artist would also barely reply. I had to follow up multiple times and they also left me hanging. I then emailed The Brand email on the Facebook page (since no phone number is provided). Which goes straight to the owner and I also got no response from them. And this is just the tip of the iceberg. I have been walking around with an unfinished tattoo for 5 months and I finally went somewhere else to pay someone to finish.Do NOT recommend, save your money for someone that respects your time and tattoo concept (which also did not happen with me, but thats another story)Edit: I talked with Jessica and she was in the hospital for the times I emailed her. So I understand now why she didnt answer. Our conversation was almost 35 minutes long and honestly I felt it accomplished nothing. I asked if I could tell my side but I didnt get very many words in. We hit 28 minutes into the conversation and I literally said I get what you are saying but we are 28 minutes into this conversation and I havent gotten past day 1 of my 5 month experience. She kept correcting me when she didnt have all the information and I felt she didnt care of the experience I had, just that the artists are no longer with the brand and shell get her husband to tattoo me for free. I never wanted a free tattoo. I wanted a professional artist that I would be able to get my sleeve done with. Im going somewhere else to pay someone to finish my sleeve.

The front desk assistants are always friendly and personable, and the artist are so precise with their work, definitely recommend!

I was lucky to get tattooed here by Noel who is an amazing artist. I am one to do a lot of research on my artist before settling on one. After a lot of research on multiple Lubbock artist and shops The Brand earned my business and I was not disappointed.The response to my messages via their social media for a tattoo was promptly responded to and the communication on the tattoo ideas were immediately taken into consideration. The professionalism and cleanliness was top notch. After talking to several other tattoo shops or trying to talk to them it was always a very poor experience. The Brand definitely had that attentiveness to me as being a potential new client without making me feel like I was bothering them to give them my business. I have returned to The Brand for thee different tattoos and have been greatly pleased with the pieces.

The Brand goes ABOVE AND BEYOND for every single one of their clients, especially their employees. Jessica is one of the most selfless people I have met. As a client, she has given me the most upmost respect, and is completely professional with not only myself but everyone around. She makes sure I or any other client is taken care of immediately. Noel puts in 100% in his pieces, as shown below. As a client who has been at The Brand several times, I can say I have received the most outstanding customer service from Jessica and Noel. All employees are wonderful and have their unique talent in their own way. Every one of them are amazing artists! The vibe at The Brand is one of kind, which is why this is the only tattoo shop I go to.

I have had only good experiences with artists at The Brand!! In 2021, I got that cute little moth you see in the pictures by Sage (@foragingforfae) and she was so much fun to work with and just so sweet. Most recently, a few weeks ago, I got two more with Maddy (@tattysbymaddy) and I am sooo impressed! I loved working with these two very talented artists and I can’t wait to get more ink from them.

I just started my apprenticeship a couple of months ago and I’m so happy with having Noel as my mentor. I have personally experienced his tattooing and it’s amazing from creating a piece all the way to the healing process. Jessica and Noel are a team in everything they do, I’m just so glad they are giving me a chance to learn and grow. They’re critiques are always followed with praise. They are patient, understanding and selfless. We pay to learn just like we would any school or teacher. And learning from Noel, for me, is so worth it! As an apprentice all I can do is wake up with the mentality and the drive to want to perfect this art and continue learning. And the only way I can do that is to be SELF MOTIVATED. I love being a part of The Brand (FAMILY)!

Noel is one of the best artists Ive ever seen. My wife has a handful of his tattoo work. He is professional, friendly, and as accommodating as anyone weve ever gone to. Not only him but the artists that work him in his studios all do quality work. Ive seen tattoos of friends fathers that look exactly the portrait they used. So I decided to get a tattoo with my wife because I dont have but one other. It was done very well and the letter work is fantastic!

Walked in, no appointment, and within 10 minutes was getting inked. I got 1965 put on my hand, and 1974 touched up by Matt. I definitely recommend. Such a chill atmosphere filled with dope artists

I went in as a walk in. The front desk staff was very polite. I appreciate that one of the artist was honest to the fact he was not experienced enough to do a cover up. I was fortunate enough that Noel was available to get me in. He did an amazing job! 10/10 recommend!

I started as a client at The Brand and the experience was unique. From talking to Noel about my design all the way to the end was great service. All the artists there were nice and talked with about the piece I was getting. The next door that opened was for me to become a part time receptionist to them. I was truly blessed with that opportunity because I gained another family and now I was part of them. What I love about working there is seeing all the creativeness these artists do, talk with the customers and get to know them. Noel and Jessica have been very accepting and understanding with me and I could not ask for a better shop to get my tattoos from or work with.

I booked w sadie and she was so patient and flexible with me (i switched up the design 6 hours prior and was 20 mins late..). so sweet and fun to talk to + super talented. prices are sweet too!

I wanted the tattoo in black, payed $450 for the tattoo and this is what I got. Messed up brows and eye, second session took 1 hour to complete and shading is not the same on both sides. I talked to Matthew Alvarado about fixing it and he doesnt want to tattoo me anymore. Overall my experience in this shop was horrible.

I got in contact with the owner and he set me up a consultation because I had a lot of questions about a tattoo idea I had. I loved the shop, its decorated really cool and was very clean! The owner, Noel, was able to sit with me and answer all my questions about the idea I had for a tattoo and all of my concerns, he was really nice and very professional about it all and gave great suggestions for what I was looking for. I will be booking with him soon and cant wait to see the results, Im very impressed by his work!

I got my tattoos done by Niss @yourstrulyink !!!I love her, she’s awesome! I was a bit nervous because it was my first time, but she immediately made me feel so comfortable. She’s super personal, funny, sweet, and so so talented! I ended up scheduling another appointment with her again a few weeks after my first tattoo! I plan to get more tattoos from her in the coming months. Highly recommend her!!

Wanted a professional, clean tattoo shop for my first tattoo. Checked The Brand out on recommendation from a friend. First impressions were that I walked into exactly what I was looking for. A clean, professional, artistic space. Made an appointment with Co-owner, Noel Mendoza, and couldnt be happier with the results (Still only artist I use). At the time (2 years ago) there were only a couple artists in one location. Now they have 2 locations with quite a few artists but quality has not suffered due to quantity. Each locations has a fresh clean look to it. I dont feel like Im walking into some back alley parlor hoping to get a clean needle. I walk into an artisan studio excited to see what creation my artist creates.Tip: Check out their Facebook page to find the artist and style you like. Contact artist directly as they are all independent. Says a lot about the owners when so many artists want to work in such a great location.

I highly recommend you go in and ask for Matty. Super talented, really outgoing. Especially good with his hands.

I am a tattoo apprentice at The Brand Tattoo Studio. As an apprentice if being a tattoo artist is what you truly want in life YOU have to go get it. No one is going to hold your hand and just give it to you. It takes HOURS of practice, learning, etc. But if you choose to go into any tattoo shop to apprentice and sit around youll never get anywhere. Noel and Jessica are AMAZING they are second parents to me and the other artists are my family. They are so caring of their clients and artists. They have created such a diverse tattoo environment where everyone can be themselves. If we ever need anything we know we can count on them to be there for us. Noel has helped me tremendously grow as a tattoo apprentice and has taught me so much. I am so grateful to be a part of such a great shop. I’ve got several tattoos from the brand and have had an amazing experience every time. My artist, trey, did an amazing job. Every artist there is so friendly and welcoming. The owners are sweet and cool too. Super easy to get along with and outgoing! The overall vibe of the shop is just so homie. Now that I’ve got my last few tattoos from them, I will NOT be going anywhere else! I’ve been to 3 different shops here in Lubbock and they are by far my favorite!!! A very respectable shop.

I went and got a tattoo three weeks ago of a small cross on my ankle. The lady who did my tattoo did a horrible job. When I reached out to the owner he said I could come in and get it fixed. At our appointment, the owner told me she was an “apprentice” and that “apprentices” are supposed to inform the customer they are not a professional. This lady did no such thing and now I am stuck with a horrible tattoo on my ankle. The owner was rude and extremely unprofessional. He did not even apologize. He acted as it wasn’t his fault. However, it is his fault for not running his business like a professional. I would never recommend someone getting a tattoo from this business, they could not even do something as simple as two lines.

I just got work done from The Brand yesterday and it was exactly how great customer service should be. Noel did my half sleeve and other than the fantastic hospitality that they showed me, the work was phenomenal. Can’t wait to finish the rest of this piece! Thank you Noel for making me feel right at home and a part of the family!

Great staff all around and very personable. JR is my personal tattoo artist and always willing to work with me and schedule as well as communicate with me ahead of time. The staff gets along well and makes a very fun environment. More than happy with the work done but that’s just the icing on the cake at The Brand.

There are many Tattoo Shops in Lubbock and I’ve been to a lot of them but in my honest opinion The Brand Tattoo is by far my go to spot. (1)For one they will always Deliver extraordinary customer service and tattoo work. (2)Address customer pain points, if there ever is a issue you best believe it will be taken care of. I’ve been tattooed by 4 artists at this shop and I have loved every single one of them. Do your research and see which artist does what you like! Rion did a large calf piece for me and I adored it.The owner is extremely personable and she loves her business. If you have any issues with scheduling or anything talk to her, she’s awesome.

If you are in Lubbock or coming through, this is the place where you want to spend your time and and money on a tattoo. When it comes to a tatoo shop they genuinely have it all. Their team of artists are diverse, so you can choose the right person for the tattoo you want. On top of that this is the only place where I have felt like the artists are a team. Ive received more than half of my tattoos at the hands of their artists and have been more than satisfied with every single one. I cannot wait for my next visit to The Brand.

The best place to go in Lubbock for a tattoo. Absolutely love all of the staff, especially Jessica and Noel. Their shop is always clean and professional. I love the tattoo that Noel gave me and their other artists are incredibly talented too.

This shop treats everyone like a family. The owners take every single one of their artists under their wing and we can all benefit from more tattoo shops having this dynamic because it helps with the overall morale of the artist who work for them. Noel and Jessica put their whole heart into their business and in turn they give their hearts to the ones that work for them. If it weren’t for them, my family wouldn’t even have a roof over our heads. I would also like to state the bad reviews.. especially the ones about apprentices. Apprentices have absolutely nothing to do with the environment of the shop (which is professional, well put together and comfortable for everyone, even people who may have their kids with them). Apprenticeships have nothing to do with the professionalism of the artist, which are top notch. Nor has anything to do with the environment or the experience you have at the shop while there.These negative reviews are pointless, meaningless and can actually hurt a business that doesn’t deserve it just because you’re a disgruntled ex employee… grow up!

JR has done several pieces on me and has done an absolutely fantastic job. Clean lines, clean SHOP, very professional, vibrant colors, awesome group of people at The Brand. Everyone I’ve talked with and met has been awesome and does great work, in a clean and professional environment.

The brand is a family dedicated to all friends and clients. Artists are creatively free and can even work one on one with clients and scheduling freedom. But we are still people not robots. I have been an artist here for nearly two years with Jessica and Noel when the brand was still developing. All they do is spend night and day taking care of the artists as well as their own personal lives. Through that and dedication to the art, I can help my family and provide for the shop and my clients at the same time. Just like everything in life, it was earned with being a scratcher at 13, a small town artist at a young age while providing, and learning from all the artists here. Noel is absolutely fantastic. The first picture is a before and after of what he did on my Phoenix! The first tattoo I got done at another studio in Lubbock and he charged me $300 for a bird with no eye or feet 🙄 Noel got a hold of it and turned it into a tattoo that I absolutely LOVE! (Charged me half what the first guy did too!)The second tattoo was done by an apprentice of theirs, Rion. He took this handwriting from my birthday card and matched it PERFECTLY. This tattoo is in honor of my grandmother who has dementia and he did FANTASTIC. I will never go anywhere else and refer all of my friends to them!!

Noel is the best tattoo artist in Lubbock, Tx. I have been to artist all over Texas and he is the most down to earth, light handed, & best work of them all. Couldn’t be happier to find a local tattoo artist who can accomplish any piece I come up with and make it look immaculate!

Jessica(the owners wife) treats her employees terrible. If anyone is wanting to apprentice here I would highly suggest that you do not. This business is known as an apprentice mill and will take your money and provide no working experience. The actual owner seems like a nice dude but if he wants his business to succeed he needs to remove his wife from the shop and find something more suitable for her

Well first off THEY ARE THE LITERALLY THE BEST SHOP IN TOWN EVERY SINGLE ARTIST IS SO DAMN TALENTED I’ve had work done by Noel Micheal and rion my goal is to have everyone tattoo something on me they treat everyone with the upmost respect and you can tell it’s a family there which is something you don’t see often they also do ALOT OF community outreach they are always doing a fundraiser or helping someone out 10 out of 10 hands down recommend

This place is horrible…very unprofessional. I had a scheduled appointment for almost /weeks but their artist cancelled the day of the appointment, 2 hours before actually, because she had “been traveling.”Worked with tattoo artists in and around Austin for 15 years….never had anyone treat me like so much trash just to be thrown aside.You’ve been warned!!!

This place was absolutely amazing! Trey did an amazing job on my piece and I highly recommend him! And I also highly recommend the other artists as well they are so fun and so nice and very very friendly! Will be coming to them again soon! The music is just as great too!

Was told to book for 3 days back in June for the last week of August. My artist spoke to me once for 5 minutes about the (entire sleeve) artwork i wanted to be done. The day before my appointment they posted on social media (not personally inform me) they had Covid and informed me my deposit of $300 ($100 each day) was non refundable. I explained to them i would be moving away in September which is why i chose these dates back from the start in June, and still would not give me my deposit back.

Laura did a tattoo of my dogs paw print. She was incredibly professional and talked me through every step of the process. the people there are friendly and it felt like the artists were all very supportive of each other.

I went to Maddy for the first time back in January and have already been back to see her. She’s my go-to girl now and made it the most comfortable and easy tattoo experience I’ve had!

I’ve been rocking with Noel from when he was tattooing out of his car and selling himself to other men to be able to eat and pay his bills until he built his cliental up, that’s been 9 to 10 years back absolutely amazing tattoo artist but more importantly an Even more amazing brother - Him

I waited 30 minutes in the waiting area and nobody acknowledged me. A guy came out after a while and helped two girls that were there before me but didn’t even turn to look at me or at least tell me that he’ll be right with me. For somebody that was getting her first tattoo I just felt very uncomfortable and not welcomed at all.

Honestly any review that isnt a 5 star is a lie this shop is the best im so glad my friend brought me here! im so impressed with everything they do from tattoos to community outreach to their mentorship to the shop being a family you can tell they all enjoy being there around one another the vibe is THE BEST!

The Brand Tattoo Studio is the one and only place you should stop for in Lubbock for all your tattoo needs. I literally came in a client, and left as family. These are hands down some of the most humble and down to earth people I’ve ever met. I can honestly say I love Noel and Jessica like they are my own blood. I would never take my business elsewhere! If you are looking for a badass tattoo, and to gain lifelong friends in the process.. I say stop wasting time and head over there ASAP!!! You will NOT be disappointed! The shop is badass, & everyone there has crazy/amazing talent. They all know how to take care of their clients, and deliver 100000% on every piece they do. Hands down the best shop I’ve been too rion did a great job on multiple pieces starting from when he was an apprentice till now micheal did a beautiful memorial piece for me recently and I’m still in Awww over it and the owners are amazing literally treat us as family every time we are in and they are always doing some kind of community service always trying to help someone out and that’s why I WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT THE BRAND

Came in at 3:30 for a walk in, was told to come in at 7 which was fine. Came back and didn’t get help until 45 min after we arrived, told it would be just a second, waited another hour and 15 min just to go not get a tattoo. Nice location but bad service

The customer service is fantastic and everyone who works here is so kind and nice. They treat each other amazing, from what I can see. They are amazing here and they treat their customers amazing! 10/10 would recommend!!
