Body Element Piercing

I had my mid helix pierced at Asylum in Roanoke, and they pierced it with a hoop. I had so many issues healing this piercing because of the hoop, and even calling the studio wasnt helpful. I did some research and came across Body Element and decided to go here to get the hoop switched out. Dave is absolutely amazing!! My roommate and I drove an hour from our university to Body Element, and I explained my situation to the piercer, Dave. Dave was super helpful, so knowledgeable about piercings, and overall very professional! I was very happy with the care I received. He took out the hoop, swapped it for a labret, and cleaned it up for me. He even cleaned my roommates 3rd piercing since she had some build up on hers. I have only ever had 1 piercer, as I live in New York. Unfortunately, my piercer moved to Florida, and Im in Virginia for college. I think I have finally found my next favorite piercer in Dave! He truly cares about his clients and loves his job. I couldnt recommend him enough. Ill attach a video of what the piercing looked like with the hoop in it, and a picture with the new stud Dave put in.

I came to Body Element to change out a COMICALLY long Monroe re-piercing. Not only was the entire shop impeccably clean, I really enjoyed all of the staff, and left with an invaluable lesson about hypoallergenic metal choices when you have a nickel allergy. I can’t wait to return!!

I have never went into any tattoo/piercing shop and felt as welcomed as I felt here. Everyone was nice and pleasant from the time we walked into the door until we walked out. It is a total relaxing and comfortable environment and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place for tattoos and piercings. They are kid friendly which is also a plus, since I’ve encountered places in the past that did not allow kids in their establishments. All of the ladies here are awesome, especially Nycole and her apprentice who assisted her in my daughters piercing. We will be returning

I brought my 10 year old here with a friend for her first ear piercing. Our experience from start to finish was amazing. David was extremely patient and reassuring with the girls. Its obvious he is an expert at his craft and made it a memorable experience for the girls. Thanks Body Element!

I went there this last Saturday and got my septum pierced. My piercer did such a great job, and she was so kind and patient, and made the experience so much fun. I wasnt as scared of it because she did it. If I could give this place 10 stars, I totally would, and I always recommend this place for people looking to get a piercing

Dave is AWESOME! He was very friendly and gentle. I went in with my husband to get get both our septum and tongue pierced. I went first. He was straight out honest that I couldnt get my septum done (I couldve but it wouldve been more difficult, longer healing time and so forth). My septum was too short to pierce :(. I was so happy he was straight up honest about my situation. Hubby opted out of getting his done since I couldnt. We did still get our tongues pierced. He took his time and was gentle. He talked to us like he had known us for years. Very friendly and personable. Will def be back in a few weeks for a ring change out. If your in need of a piercing Dave is AWESOME!

I had a great experience with Body Element Piercing. A friend and I went in about two weeks ago. She got her nose done and has had no problem with the healing. I got two cartilage piercings: a conch and a forward helix. I am NOT someone who does well with needles. However, after watching Dave pierce my friend’s nose, I was completely not worried about getting them done. He was very professional, careful, and gentle. He kept conversation to distract me, and the piercings themselves didn’t hurt nearly as much as they maybe should have. My ear swelled a bit more than expected (NOT the fault of the piercer), and when I went in he was able to adjust and fix the the problem super quickly and free of charge. He even messaged me a week later to check on how it was healing! I am super happy with my experience and the friendliness + professionalism of Dave and definitely would recommend going here. Another friend came here and had Ariel and loved her too; I think you can’t really go wrong with any of the piercers. Another note: Element has a great selection of jewelry!

Absolutely love Nycole! Went in to get pierced last year, and she was great, really friendly and accommodating. Sadly, one of my piercings met an unfortunate end, and I had to take time to heal up before I could get repierced. She told me the best way to take care of it, and, then I came back to get it redone. Unfortunately, that one didnt take, and I had to get it done a third time. Still though, Nycole was great, and reassured me that wed get it, and, third times the charm, we did! Shes amazing, and made me feel completely comfortable through the whole process. Cant wait to go into Caspian for my tattoos!

I live in NC. I have been everywhere looking for a good piercer and jewelry because I’m allergic to nickel. I just happen to find these guys when traveling to visit my sister and I plan on making more trips to see them. Very nice, they know their stuff and very clean

I got my nose pierced by Willow a few months back and everything was great so I thought I would come back to get my tongue pierced. She was awesome!! Made me feel extremely comfortable, talked through the whole process, and made sure I was happy with it before leaving. I’m definitely coming back for more!!

I had a wonderful experience with Body Element! Willow pierced my left nostril and worked with me to find the perfect position on my nostril. They were able to get me in even though I didn’t have an appointment ahead of time. I was so nervous, but after talking with Dave, Natalie, and Willow I felt so comfortable and now I have an awesome piercing. Thank you all so much!

Absolutely recommend this place for piercings, I got my left nostril pierced to match my right one, and the two ladies (didn’t catch their names) that helped were so kind and took their time matching it perfectly with my right. I have quite a bit of anxiety around people but I felt very comfortable and had no problems. I have quite a few piercings and haven’t went here before but it was by far the best experience I’ve ever had at any shop. Will definitely be coming back for any future piercings.

Absolutely love this place!!! Been going for all my tattoos and almost a year ago I got my nose pierced. Been back twice and Dave changed out my nose ring without any issues. Everyone is super friendly! Definitely recommend!!

Willow did an amazing job on my septum. It was a repierce from another shop that I didn’t particularly like so I was a little nervous on trying this shop out. She was so sweet and talked with me through the whole process. SUPER DUPER clean. I was impressed. 10/10 recommend her!

Dave rose gets 5 stars for a 5 piece he did for me. Its a pretty intense piercing I got. He booked me for an hour to give me time to breathe and gave me great advice. He went the extra mile but making sure I knew what was going on even those my 2nd time getting done. Is clean studio and professional environment made me feel super comfortable. I would recommend Dave to anybody in the area.

Very clean with knowledgeable & friendly staff. Large selection of jewelry. Id never had any piercings and they made me feel very comfortable. Had my daith pierced, which I was nervous about, but Ariel did an excellent job of making it smooth & pain free. Very professional!

Dave Robe re-pierced my earlobes two days ago and it was a great experience. Highly recommend!I have a birth defect that causes my right earlobe to be much thicker than it should, and the girl from Claires who did my original lobe piercing as a teenager (with an earring gun) did it at a crazy steep angle in order to avoid the thickest part of the lobe.You could usually see the back of my earrings when looking straight on at my face, because they came out at such a weird angle in the back.They were also constantly infected, so I let the piercings close up 8 years ago, and kind of decided earrings werent in the cards for me.When I walked into Body Element, Dave examined my ears, talked through the issues I had, ran placement by me, and did the piercing quickly and efficiently.He was able to use the same front opening on my right earlobe, but create a new channel so my earring backs will be hidden (like a normal persons! 😄).Ive had basically no pain the last two days. Im sleeping on my sides just fine, and my earlobes are barely sensitive to the touch.I had no idea my results could look and feel this good. 🙌

Got my nipples repierced here and everything healed great. I had to go back for their help putting my bar back in and they did it in seconds. Hands down the best piercing place ever.

This is the ONLY place Ill get a piercing done. Theyre more pricey than some other places in town, but Ive never had a problem with placement, infections, or anything. The jewelry they use is quality and the staff is knowledgeable and can answer just about any questions you might have and offer their best advice on a piercing. I wanted to change out my nostril jewelry. Talked to Ariel about it a bit and she advised against it for the health of my piercing, rather than making a sale.

I had a fantastic experience at Body Element Piercing. I got triple cartilage piercings, and it was barely painful at all. Everything was very clean and the piercer was very kind and professional. She helped me figure out something that would work for me after my original vision wasnt quite possible. I highly recommend this shop! Thank you!

My first piercing, and Dave was kind, funny, and explained every step of the way. Super fast and easy. Came here on the recommendation of a friend and 100% worth it!

I took my 17 year old daughter to get her septum pierced. It was not the best experience. It was done in like 2 minutes. The only care instructions were dont touch it and we were given a care sheet but didnt relate to her piercing. On the way home (2 hours away) one of the balls on the jewelry fell off bc it wasnt tightened enough and was never found. I emailed them and never got a response. Right after she was finished getting pierced she was told to get up right away and was done. Never have I seen anyone told stand up right away. Usually take your time for a few minutes just because of the adrenaline. I was not impressed and will not be going back.Thank you. I had to take her to a studio near where we live (2 hours away) to get another ball. It isnt the exact size but it works.

I had my cartilage piercing done at body element and I never expected such good quality of service. The guy was so good at it I barely felt any pain. I am going back and get more!!

Drove over an hour and a half, got there at 245. They opened at 11, but the only piercer there today had went to lunch. Five people waiting, at 3 pm the guy at the counter called her and told us she’s gonna be another 20 min getting back. So work 3 hours and 1 and a half hour lunch break when you are the only employee providing the service and customers are waiting. Will NEVER waste that trip again!!!!

Wanted to charge 60 bucks for a piercing. AND they didnt have anyone on staff to do a septum piercing for 3 days. Always have a terrible experience with this place.
