Jared was awesome! I had decided to get a paw print to memorialize my late pup, and he did an amazing job walking me through options as well as helping me visualize what he had in mind. The tattoo looks fantastic and is a perfect replica of my dogs print. Can’t wait to go back and get some more work done from him in the future.Photo is 24 hours after the tattoo, and the healing is going really well. Love this place. Every time I’ve gone here, whether it be for 8+ piercings or 2 tattoos, I’ve experienced artists that exude professionalism and are passionately talented. Getting a tattoo/piercing is inherently intimate, and I’ve always felt safe and seen here. I can count on the private rooms being clean and sterile yet not cold like a doctor’s office. I love that I can make same-day appointments to feed my impulsivity and never sacrifice quality for efficiency. I recommend Blue Lotus to everyone I know looking for any type of body mods/art!

Michael the piercer is the most professional, knowledgeable, and experienced piercer I have ever met. Ive had a variety of piercings throughout my life. I requested a very difficult and painful piercing from Michael and it ended up being the least painful and actually fun and enjoyable piercing Ive ever had! For the rest of my life I will be getting my piercings through him

Been going to Jared for tattoos since I came back home in 2021 and he’s been amazing for all of them. Even getting some blending work done has been great. Great artist and will continue to work with him for future designs

Myke was fantastic!!!! He was kind, thorough, and allowed my child to be heard and gave her permission throughout the process to say if she no longer wanted to go through with the piercing. Myke explained every step, allowed for questions, and brought humor in to ease her nervousness. Everyone was fantastic, Myke was simply wonderful.

I took my 8-year-old daughters to get their ears pierced at the Odana Rd location. My twin girls have *very* different personalities, and Myke was AMAZING with both of them. He quickly read each of them independently, and adapted his demeanor to make both feel safe, secure, and comfortable. The studio was very clean, and I loved the messaging we got from every single employee we met--that each person gets to decide what is right for their own body. From reception to piercing to end payment, it was a positive experience all around.

My 9 year old daughter got her earlobes pierced by Myke yesterday. I cannot even begin to express what an amazing experience it was! Five stars truly isnt even enough.

Myke was calm, professional and personable. They pierce by pushing a needle through your ear lobe -no piercing gun. It was a quick procedure done while lying down after I had approved exactly where on my ear lobes the second piercings would be placed. Everything was clean and everyone was kind and patient.

I went to Blue Lotus with my daughter to get her a second set lobe piercing, I got my tragus pierced. We were running a little late & they were still able to get us both in. The front desk ladies & our piercer went more than above & beyond to accommodate us in all aspects of our appointment, everyone was so kind & helpful. Kita was our piercer & she was truly wonderful. My 13 year old is extremely shy & Kita made her feel so welcomed & comfortable which made the overall experience that much better. Kita was knowledgeable, easy to talk to & we all even had some laughs. I highly recommend getting pierced by Kita. My daughter & I are in love with our new piercings & so far the healing has been a breeze. The shop itself is very clean & a nice shop. The piercing room was private, behind a door which was great. I cannot recommend Blue Lotus enough!

Jared did a great job, and he (like everyone here) was super chill and friendly. He works meticulously, but he also manages to work quickly without rushing. I’m overall impressed, and I’ll definitely return for another tattoo in the future.

Jarad did mine and my moms matching tattoos. He did an amazing job and was a fun guy to talk to. I will be going back to Jarad for the rest of the work I want done.

Jared did my slayer tattoo and let me say, not only is it my first tattoo, but it def wont be my last especially from him. I love this thing he did it perfectly man. Shout out to Jared and get in touch with him he is awesome. Very fun guy, nice to talk to, helps you through if you faint (like I unfortunately did). Im def gonna go back man, blue lotus has a very welcoming vibe and they are an amazing place.

I came in one day, hoping to have a consult which I got. I met with Jared who interpreted my rough draft, poor drawing into something that would actually work on my skin. He was very good at listening to what the tattoo was supposed to mean, and made it better than my original idea. After the consult appointment was a week or so later, and when I came in, he had fantastic representations for the elements of my tattoo, and we got to work, and then the ink started flowing. Jared is very easy to talk to you, he is good at interpreting ideas and fitting them to you. Highly recommend.

What an experience getting my daith re-pierced on 2/12 with Kita! We started with a friendly welcome in a beautiful lobby which was Doctors Office clean and soft calming music playing.On to my piercer Kita, her energy could power a small town! She was very thorough during our consultation even though she knew I had the piercing before but it closed. When I told her I stopped my blood thinner for X doses, she stopped to make sure the 1/2 life passed and it would be was safe to pierce. She said I would stay there 15 minutes to make sure any bleeding stopped or they would send me to the ER. She helped me make the best starting jewelry choice instead of recommending the cute much more expensive piece.Time to pierce, she told my husband he was welcome to join us. She said having someone with a person getting pierced can be calming.Her room was like a personalized mini version of (again) a doctors exam room. As she set up she explained what she was going to do before, during, and after. Had me lay down for the daith piercing, which my other piercer at another place had me either stand or sit, and continued to explain what she was doing while she was doing it and said I barely bled. She cleaned me up, asked a few times how I was doing and offered to help me sit up.She gave me a card with post care instructions and her business card and told us what to do and dont do for the post care basically reiterating what was on the card and a little more based on our interaction.Check out time, Kita walked us to the cashier and chatted with us like we were long time friends, I told her Id be back to have her do the other ear as soon as this one was healed enough. Again she encouraged patience. $93 later for piercing, tip, and after care kit, I left with minimal pain and was very pleased.I was surprised that the pain was so minimal, the other times I have had this piercing immediately the pain was almost intolerable and lingered for many months. This time the night of the piercing I rolled on that side and had a little pain. The next night and from then on, I have been sleeping on it with NO pain. A week later and I can touch the outside of the ear firmly with no pain.If I can get an appointment with Kita for 2/18 or 19 I will be back that soon. If not Ill wait until my Birthday on 2/25.Attached is the day of piercing notice that theres no swelling or redness and its been that way for this past week. I have been to this location before and the front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. This past week Jared did my tattoo and he was outstanding. I had a great experience with Braden. He tattooed my friend and I in the same day and they came out great. He was super friendly and has reasonable prices. I would def get another tattoo from him.

Jared took me back and gave me a chest tattoo of my two favorite albums. The Division Bell and Jar Of Flies. We listened to the Facelift album while he did it and his humor distracted me from the pain. It turned out perfect! 10 out of 10!

So I was looking for someone who would do a great job with a fantasy tattoo and the start of my sleeve. I’m really into putting my trust into the artist to do whatever they think is best. They are the experts. I specifically asked about fading colors and didn’t want too fine of detail because I know that can lead to bleeding of the lines over time. They set me up with Jared and he did an absolutely fantastic job. Not only does the tattoo look amazing but his customer service is making me feel comfortable was fantastic. I cannot recommend him enough. I was basing who was going to do my sleeve off of this first piece and I will be going to him for both now. He even gave me my idea for my other sleeve!

Got my ears and nostril pierced by Myke and he did a wonderful job. First time getting pierced by anyone and he was assuring & easygoing and kept me calm through the process. Healed perfectly and extremely painless.

I got a hand tattoo from Jared. I was supposed to get a touch up for free he mentioned it was free 4Xs. Asked for him to touch up my other hand tattoo and he said he would do it with the one I am going to need all free. I comeback a month later and he tries to charge me $125 for the touch up. I asked why and didn’t really give an answer. I’ve gotten all my other tattoos from Blue Lotus but this really got me. I went to another artist in Oregon who did the touch ups for FREE, now I go to him great guy! If you have touch ups get a video agreement or a signature from the artist or you’ll get screwed too.

Myke was AMAZING!! My sister and I went in for chest dermal piercings and to say I was nervous was an understatement but he was soooooo helpful through it all and made it so quick!! Thank you!! I absolutely love it!!

Kita is excellent! I got a gorgeous nose piercing here three months ago (I cant belive I forgot to post a review back then!). Even my grandmother looked at my new jewelry and said, Oh, thats cute! 😄Kita gave me very thorough explanations of what they were doing and why, and also had a great welcoming and friendly energy that put me right at ease.I also appreciate that there is still an option for COVID conscious people here. The whole clinic was very clean, and I saw every associate prioritizing the cleanliness of the space and safety of the customers.I had my three month check-in today (another great visit!) and Ill be back for all future piercings!

I understand Nikita is the bomb but I actually don’t have enough complimentary words for our experience with this adorable individual. She was perfect in every way, explaining each of her steps and why she was taking them when my daughter got her first earlobe piercings. She actually made me want to get more piercings with her meticulous and enthusiastic ways. My daughter’s ears are absolutely gorgeous and with following the specific aftercare instructions,she has zero pain or swelling 36hrs after the procedure. We look forward to going back to Blue Lotus for more top of the line jewelry and maybe more piercings!

Kita (sorry if I spelled thst wrong) is amazing with kids ear piercings. I would highly recommend her and Blue Lotus. My only tip for parents would be have them do the cleaning and care lesson after the piercing not before because the anticipation did freak my daughter out.

Just got some fresh ink done here and I was beyond satisfied with my piece. Mr. Jared is a highly skilled and efficient artist. He had my piece done in around two hours, it was BANANAS!

I saw Nikita twice and received four piercings from her: two second ear lobes piercings and septum and conch piercing. I haven’t had the best luck with my piercings in the past and she totally changed my perspective on what a difference a knowledgeable and well-trained piercer makes.Before her, all my piercings (8 attempts over the course of twenty years) never healed properly. I finally have second ear lobes because of her!I decided to go back and get my conch and septum pierced and she did a fabulous job answering my questions to ensure I could get what I wanted. The piercings were quick and the pain was fleeting. I’m confident in the aftercare advice she gave me. I’m excited to see how they heal and look forward to going back to her for decking out my ears in full.Blue Lotus has an incredibly professional and well-trained staff and an awesome and clean space. Definitely check them out if you’re looking for an inclusive and COVID-safe environment!

Myke was just awesome! He pierced me and my friends ears and we couldnt be happier with the experience. Myke took so much time explaining everything to us-and we had a lot of questions! In the end we ended up going over our time but we werent rushed at all. Myke did a fantastic job and both me and my friend have second appointments with him in a couple weeks to get more piercings. We each got our first holes and a cartilage when we visited and our total pricing came out to be around $300 each. The jewelry is more expensive but that is due to it being higher quality and having very well trained piercers. All in all, the extra pricing is well worth the experience at Blue Lotus.

I got an anti-tragus piercing at Blue Lotus and my experience was so great that I had to leave a review. Myke is awesome!I appreciated his attention to detail and the way that he explained the process, aftercare and gave me recommendations for the piercing placement. I scheduled an appointment for an ear piercing and I was booked with Nikita. It was a wonderful experience.Nikita was very kind with soothing energy. I felt so relaxed and comfortable that I decided to get an additional piercing on both ears that same day.This is my second body modification at this location. I will definitely be back for more modifications and jewelry, especially if Nikita will be doing them!

Decided to try a new place for my second tattoo and it was the best experience possible. I also decided to get my helix pierced and on the next day I could tell that it was going to be an easy going healing process. Walking in the place was very clean and welcoming. There private rooms so whatever you are having done can be done in private versus out in the open where everyone can see. I had Cate do my tattoo and what she had designed was way more then I had originally pictured but it was perfect. Myke did my helix piercing and he was very consistent and takes me through everything. Will definitely recommend this place to any and everyone. I am beyond pleased with my results and will more then likely be going back.

I got my septum done by Nikita. She was helpful,informative, and kind. It’s my first facial piercing and she guided me throughout the whole process. I wanted the smaller gauge but went with the bigger one cause that’s all they had and I’m definitely glad I went that size. I LOVE IT. Also the shop itself was comfortable and inviting. ***2023 update***I keep updating because every time I go in, everyone is amazing. Ive been trying to get a certain kind of unique piercing for quite awhile, and Myke helped me through the long process of trying to bend already finished jewelery to suit and when that didnt work getting the jewelry made special. Piercing is in, and it looks amazing and unique. He definitely gave me something special and made my cool idea into reality.Thanks Myke!!!***2022 update***So, I cannot recommend Blue Lotus Tattoo and the Piercing Lounge enough. I went in again today for some maintenance on my piercings, and Myke was, as always, amazing. If I ever have to leave Madison, I will be heartbroken because it means leaving Myke behind! If you want a hole in it, he can put it there, and make it look great. I had a trio of flats put in my right ear cartilage a few months, and despite the fact they are in a tight spot, they look perfect and balanced and they healed with ease.In the end of 2020, I also got my back piece done here. My tattoo artist no longer works for BLT, but the shop was clean, the price was great, and it is a beautiful piece of artwork I am going to love wearing for the rest of my life. Im going back in a couple weeks to get another piece done, and I am so excited I can barely contain it. I have no doubt that the professionals at BLT will do an amazing job.***Original review***Blue Lotus is absolutely the best. I went and got my first tattoo by Ash and it was the best experience I could have asked for. They were super professional and made sure it was just what I was looking for and I was comfortable the whole time. Ash also sent me a follow up email with after care tips so I knew what I was doing and to make sure my tattoo could be in the best condition for as long as possible. I absolutely loved my experience being tattooed at Blue Lotus! I went to the westside and, after doing some research, selected Ari as my tattoo artist. She was amazing through the entire process - super friendly, very knowledgeable, and was patient when I was deciding exact size/location for the tattoo. I was slightly nervous, but we chatted for the entirety of the hour-long process which really calmed my nerves. 10/10, if I get any more tattoos they will be here with Ari!

I visited Blue Lotus west side twice over the past few months--Once for an additional lobe piercing with Myke, and once for a nose piercing with Kita (listed on the website as Nikita). Both Myke and Kita were professional and took the time to educate me and answer all my questions. They had a good sense of humor and had a nice rapport, which is great during a situation where my adrenaline is running high from being nervous! I would definitely go back to Blue Lotus before considering any other piercing locations in Madison. :)

I saw Kita for a piercing and the experience was phenomenal. Everyone was extremely professional in the tattoo/piercing shop vibe way. I was especially impressed by their cleanliness standards. Jewelry and needles were sterilised in-room and their glove hygiene was on point!

All the staff was so friendly and the vibes were super relaxed and comfortable. Kita walked me through every step of my piercing, made sure I was happy with it, and gave me detailed aftercare and warranty instructions.

Nicole pierced my eyebrow and it is healing great. The overall vibe here is clean, welcoming and very relaxed-just not like any other tattoo shop Ive been in. I called in for an appointment and got in the very next day-thats what I wanted! Nicole was friendly, very personable and made me feel comfortable as Im a fairly anxious person! I will definitely be back to get more piercings and/or tattoos in the future!

I stopped in to Blue Lotus Tattoo and Piercing Lounge about a week ago to get my nose pierced, expecting a fairly basic /standard experience: a quick poke, some aftercare instructions, and then Id be on my way. The experience by far exceeded my expectations, and I left the studio feeling truly impressed. Myke went above and beyond throughout the appointment. He took extra time to help me pick out a piece of jewelry that I not only loved but also found fitting to my face. He was respectful, professional, informative and genuine. He answered any questions before I even had to ask them, and his knowledge shone through as he answered those questions in great depth. The entire experience was so much different (in a positive way) than any other Ive had in a piercing/tattoo studio, and I certainly dont plan on going to anyone else to get pierced in the future, as I honestly dont feel that the service provided by Myke could be matched.

I have been to Myke several times over the last 10 or so years and always have a great experience. The entire building is very clean and everyone who works there has been super great to work with. I highly recommend Myke for any piercings - he’s very professional and a down to earth nice guy.

I had a sessions with Jared on a piece Id wanted to get for awhile now... and I am absolutely blown away with the results! He even touched up the outline on a tattoo I had gotten from a former Blue Lotus artist, free of charge. Great dude, great work, great atmosphere. 10 out of 10 service.

Nicole pierced my nose back in January and I am happy to report that it is healing beautifully. I have had difficulties with other piercings in the past, but after having 2 piercings in general from Blue Lotus and my most recent by Nicole, I am excited to specifically request her for my future piercings. The experience felt unique, welcoming, and relaxed. Nicole also listened to my desire for the piercing to be slightly angled so that a hoop would fit nicely in the future, and graciously changed out my daith piercing. I look forward to not only seeing Nicole for more work in the near future, but visiting for tattoo services as well.

I went here to get my first tattoo by Lindsey, and it turned our great! Lindsey was friendly, helpful, and made for a great experience. The other staff I came in contact with were also very friendly and helpful. They took really good safety precautions due to covid, so I felt really safe. Highly recommend!

I’ve gotten all my piercings done here by Myke (I currently have 8) and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. He’s always done a great job on all my piercings. He’s quick and obviously knows what he’s doing. I’ve pointed many of my friends and family in his direction when they want something done and would recommend him to anyone who asked.

The shop itself is very clean, well-lit, and tastefully decorated, and the staff that Ive worked with has, with the exception of maybe one or two people, been friendly and eager to help.Im really disappointed with my last experience(s) at Blue Lotus, however. I splurged on a more expensive piece of body jewelry to get my navel pierced, and even with proper aftercare (and Im no novice to piercings), it literally snapped apart after about two weeks of wear. Again, this was a specialty, pricier-than-average piece of jewelry, from an allegedly reputable manufacturer, so Im just really sad that I wasted so much money on such a cheaply-made product.I also bought new nipple jewelry during this visit, and when I got home, I realized that the captive bead rings were two different rings. Very close in appearance, but one was darker and slightly smaller than the other. I went back to the shop, and was told that no, they were the same rings, but they still looked mismatched to me after that second visit, so I went to Eldritch Brothers to see what they thought, and sure enough, they were two different rings.Most of the artists Ive seen here have been kind, talented, and helpful, and the shop is professional and clean, but this last experience left a bitter taste in my mouth, and I will probably not return.EDIT: Im changing my rating from two to three stars because I dont want to review based off only two of many visits to Blue Lotus. Thanks for the response, Myke. Ive actually been pierced by you several times and have always been super happy with the results. I came in around noon on 10/15 and was helped by Holly. She was very sweet and professional, but let me walk out twice with mismatched jewelry.

I’ve been here to see Derek twice now for a tattoo and let me tell you, I’m obsessed. I got my first tattoo by him done several months ago and it looks beautiful and healed perfectly. I recently got another piece done by him and all I can say is wow. The drawing that he originally came up with for me did not work for the location I needed it in. He immediately got started on drawing up a new one right then and there. It was incredible to watch him use his artistic direction to quickly come up with the perfect tattoo for me. It turned out absolutely beautiful. I can’t stop staring at it. I would include a pic of how dope it is but its still healing. I Highly recommend booking with him. He’s always made me feel comfortable, talked me through what he was doing the entire time. Can’t wait to get another one from him.

Daughter recently got ears pierced for the second first time. She met with Kita who was kind and direct and created a safe and trusting experience in a cool, calm, clean and spa-like environment. Will be back for the first tattoo next!!

I was so nervous because Im always nervous of needles and definitely because of Covid. Myke was Great. He change his gloves often while helping me to ensure that I felt safe sanitize and eased my comfort level. He explained everything as he was preparing the needles and inserting the earring.. I recommend myke because he made my first experience Great.Also, grace is great.. watch and learned how to deal with someone like me 😆 I laugh because Im sure she has helped with other people, but I am glad I wasnt one of them while she is training only because my nervous wouldnt allow, but I know she will be great piercer and tattoo artist.

For about 30 mins, she just kept trying to sell me that she is good at what she does. It wasnt the best experience. On top of my wife, better something done, and he knew the ring he put in her ear was too tight but kept it on there anyway . He even told the other lady who was in the room if she cokes back because of this . Do this and this. The next day, my wifes ear didnt have space to swell, and I had to take the ring out because it was squeezing her ear .

I was not pleased with the piece I had done here. The artists work wasn’t quality. One of the tattoos I got came off almost entirely and had to be completely gone over at the touch up. The line work was mediocre and she didn’t seem to pay attention to my concerns. During the consultation she was confident in her abilities, however, the results did not reflect much expertise. I’m disappointed with the permanent piece she left me with. I feel that a different artist would have been a better choice.Otherwise, the front desk staff were quite friendly.

I got my septum pierced by Myke today. The whole process was so smooth, and everything explained so well and thoroughly. Myke is so professional and makes you feel so calm and comfortable! My entire experience was awesome! This tattoo was especially important to me because not only was it my first tattoo it was done on my fiancé’s birthday 8/15/21. He had always wanted me to get a tattoo with him, but I was terrified of the pain. Since he’s no longer here I wanted to get one for him and to try to remind myself to not give up too. I have been a very happy customer of The Piercing Lounge for many years. Myke is a true professional and master of his trade. Hes clinical in his practices and dedicated to high quality outcomes. Hell tell you honestly if a certain type of piercing or placement isnt a good fit for your anatomy; certain things can make you more likely to reject a piercing, have it be uncomfortable to wear, make it more likely to migrate, etc.I think Mykes straightforwardness is an indication of his dedication to his craft, because he doesnt just go for the money like other folk in town; he wants people to be happy with what they get and he wants to be proud of his work.Ive also worked a little with one of the female piecers, but I unfortunately cant remember her name. I tried twice to book tattoo appointments here. The first time I called a week in advance, the second time I tried three weeks in advance. The scheduling is set up so you cant get a book an appointment until after you consult with an artist and then sign documents, at which point those timeslots fill up fast. You really need to be flexible. But the last time I was trying to book an appointment, I rearranged my schedule and left a message saying that I could take an alternative time that was offered. That was a week ago, and I have not heard back. The artist I worked with seemed very friendly and knowledgeable, but just be warned about the scheduling.

This place is amazing and friendly! I got my tongue pierced here 2 years ago and it was my first body pierced ever . I didnt know what to expect but Myke went over everything I needed know before and after getting it pierced. Then about a year ago I got my nose pierced and same thing Myke was awesome and so kind! I forgot the women at the counter but she was excellent as well. Im coming back for more piercings soon!

I got a helix piercing from Myke, and for my first piercing experience it was absolutely phenomenal. The atmosphere was calming, the staff were very friendly, and in general I greatly enjoyed my visit. Would recommend, and have recommended.

First off, I am terrified of needles. But going in to get a simple double lobe piercing, Myke made it incredibly simple. He is very knowledgeable about his trade, had me relaxed and at ease with his awesome sense of humor. And before I knew it, I was done and out of there. I got my tragus pierced by Myke. He was awesome! He calmed my nerves and I hardly felt anything. I even asked questions about other piercings and he was kind enough to answer them. I will be coming back for my second tragus and other piercings here.

I have nothing but praise and the highest respect for this establishment, it is always very clean, inviting and comfortable. Jessie has been working on my full sleeve and is incredibly talented and fast, matter of fact I just had two and a half hours of work done while he put on a movie for me to watch and the time flew by even though it was a large piece. If Jessie stopped doing tattoos I would be hard pressed to find another to do my ink, he is just that good. If you are looking to get work done then go to Blue Lotus and forget the rest.

Five stars even though super ouchy. In January I received a rook piercing. Yesterday it fell out. The Odana location was able to fit me in with Nakita who not only fixed it but saw the reason it has been so tender was a lot of swelling and a too-short bar. It wasn’t able to drain well and causing a lot of pain. While the process hurt quite a bit due to the tenderness in the area, she changed it out for a longer bar. This should help with healing. She knows her stuff, was professional and great to work with.

I got my naval done by Myke and he was super nice and reassuring and made the whole experience super comfortable. It went by so fast and clean. My piercing looks gorgeous! Totally recommend coming here!

Jared is the freaking man! He took an old forearm tattoo of mine that I wasnt too proud of and turned it into an awesome piece of art that I cant wait to show off this summer. Hes just a great dude as well and definitely knows what hes doing. Highly recommend!

My family and I have gone to both Nikita and Myka for piercings and we 100% suggest using them on the west side! They may cost slightly more than other piercing places but they are APP certified and only used the highest quality jewelry and piercing supplies.

I went to get both my lobes pieced and the guy, Myke, Is super kind, open, and helpful about what earrings would work best for you. They are a bit pricey, but not without good reason. The jewelry they use is extremely high quality and there for more expensive.The prices were a range from $74- .$110 (Piecing and Jewelry)Even though I wasnt planing on spending that much I went for it because of the friendly staff and high piecing standards.

I came in filthy, covered in mud after having worked outside all day. Reception offered me an appointment within the hour. Myke grabbed me early before his next client to pick out a stud for my labret, anodized it to match my other jewelry, and set up for the procedure. Hes really sweet, knowledgeable, honest, and my experience with him was pleasant; I felt accomodated and welcome. Very happy with my labret and looking forward to the healing process and eventually seeing Myke again to get fit for a new bar.

I got work done from Ari G. Hands down 5 stars for them! On a professional level they were very patient while working with me (I am a picky one) and I felt like I asked for something a little different from their normal. They nailed it. I also felt very comfortale in their work area and made to feel very welcome. It was clean and organized, their work area is not overbearing/uncomfortable or uninviting. - quite the opposite, you can tell thought and love went into the atmosphere.I guess thats all. 😅 If you are looking for a good piece with a person who cares... Ive had a bad experience with blue lotus. I was scheduled to have a tattoo done before the covid shutdown. It got canceled obviously.. i understood. After the soft reopening I had my appointment rescheduled.. i was excited, !!! hours before my appointment, I got a call they canceled and I got another appointment. 2 weeks later. I Got a call the day before my appointment to ask about a consultation. But thats not right cause I have an appointment tomorrow. Turns out my artist has decided not to come back and Im not getting my tattoo again.. this place may be amazing but ill never know cause Im getting my money back and taking my business elsewhere

Me and my girlfriend had a wonderful experience here. We were tatted by Derek, whom I found on Instagram and whom was available the next day to do beautiful matching beetlejuice pieces on us (I with Adam and her with Barbara). With a light hand and precise line work, Derek finished both our pieces in under 4 hours and left us leaving the shop with smiles on our faces and two badass, reasonably priced tats. I highly recommend this shop for its great, friendly atmosphere and talented artists!

I just got my tragus, doubles, and low cartilage done by Myke and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. It was so clean and professional and Myke was very funny and made me (being afraid of needles) very comfortable. I got a gift card for this place. I stopped in and was told you have to have a consultation prior to getting a tattoo, something about watching a video. Then after that you can make an appointment with an artist. They had no albums to look at either. Seems like too much to go through for me just to get a tattoo. So I just gave the gift card away.

I came in today (Sunday) to purchase a septum clicker or ring. They carry a brand I like (Tether) and Ive had good experiences here before. The front desk asked what I was looking for and got me a saleswomen quickly. When she saw what I was looking at, she told me that she couldnt sell it because she thought it was brass (but wasnt actually sure), and wasnt trained in this. I own a brass clicker already, so I already know about the maintenance. But she also said that she didnt know the prices for them. I was told to come back tomorrow when someone could help me. I cant. She tried to show me some options of what she could sell, but it wasnt even similars to what I was interested in. She didnt ask another associate for help, or even apologize for being unable to assist. Im giving 2 stars because at least they have nice things, even if they dont sell them. SMH. Very awkward and disappointing experience.

I have 22 tattoos, and 21 are from Jesse Siewert. I am extremely unhappy with my last tattoo from him. I was so upset that I had Capital City and Steves look at it. There is color where white should be in numerous places. I was told that you couldnt pump white into it like Jesse told me yesterday that he could. It has other issues that cant be fixed, but the main issue is the way I was treated. I told Jesse that I wanted someone else to touch it up, and could he compensate me. He said no, that he was pissed that I had someone else check out his work, and I was banned for life from Blue Lotus. He said that he had talked to Rob, the owner, and had his backing. Jesse, you should have never told me that you could do anything that I asked. You can, but you dont do it well, and you dont take criticism well. Thank you for reading this.

Decent. I came here to get my nose pierced when I was younger and it was great. I came a while ago to get my tounge pierced, and the piercing process was great! Except for the fact my tounge piercing is crooked. And before you ask-yes, its completely healed. Ive had it for almost 2 years now. Im super OCD so this bothers me a lot, lmfao.

I understand if you prefer your customers to be vaccinated. But these people didnt notify us ahead of time, got angry when I didnt have that information, AND refused to refund my down deposit for a piercing never received.

I find this place to be kind of expensive... I recently got two barbell peircings and wanted to buy cone tips from Eldritch Brothers Tattoo and Piercing, but they were sold out. I went here and 4 attachments sent me back just under $55.00Also, its about 50/50... it seems like a lot of people that work her have this holier than thou complex.

Stopped in last week to talk about at tattoo I wanted to get. Everyone was pretty mean and rude. I wish I would have read the reviews online before I wasted my time here.Still looking for a nicer place that will want to tattoo me.

Went in to get my belly button pierced and I had John do it, Complete dick. i was asking simple questions about it and everything and he was being super rude about it and even made a comment about my nose piercing and how it looked bad because i didnt get it done there. Needless to say I wont be going there again.

Myke my piercer was so knowledgeable and nice! He got everything I needed figured out and I was in and out within a short amount of time! Great place great people.

The person who tattooed me was very rude and didnt listen to anything that I wanted. Probably will not go here again if he is the one tattooing me. Very disappointed, heard many great things, but did not show when I was there.

My go-to location for piercings. Always clean and professional. The shop even looks like a spa. Very nice and they do quality work.

The shop is super clean. The artist know what they’re talking about. Jack is a great artist and I love my peice. The prices are average compared to the area. I highly recommend this shop to anyone.
