He designed one cover up piece for five of my existing tattoos. I couldnt be more pleased with his design and work! He diligently tattooed the entire piece in six hours! If youre looking for an artist with expertise, Paul Jack is your guy!Cant wait for our next session!

Definitely not like any other tattoo/piercing place I’ve ever been to. There’s literally an art studio. It was wild. Place is super clean and everyone was super friendly. Got my conch pierced. So many jewelry options! Their (starting) price was also cheaper than multiple other places I spoke with. Definitely recommend them!

Luis is by far one of the best artists I have had the pleasure of working with. Not only was he able to make my design exactly what I wanted but he was patient, took his time with detail and just so nice to be around! I’ve been wanting this design for a while now but was being patient waiting to find the right artist who could pull it off and I’m so glad the wait was worth it. I used to listen to this album by Judas Priest all the time growing up with my dad ❤️ Thank you Luis! The shop itself is fantastic as well! Just had my first tattoo with this studio with Charlotte. She was fantastic. Not heavy handed. I gave her a few ideas on what I was looking for in my design and asked her to take it from there. I was not disappointed. I’m very impressed with my new addition. Already have two others looking to book with her in the future. I will be coming back for other projects. Sink or Swim Studio staff were very professional from start to finish. The piercer made me feel comfortable before getting my piercing done and gave me tips to heal my piercing heal afterward. The studio is super cool. I was amazed at the underwater paintings since in from VA Beach. I recommend this studio to anyone in the Atlanta area looking to get piercings or tattoos. My nose piercing is healing well.

I went today and got my conch pierced. Everyone here was super nice & helpful! I had one done about a year ago and had a terrible experience, so they helped me with a bunch of questions I had & with the healing process. The piercing was so quick and painless. Def recommend coming here!

I went in yesterday to get my septum pierced and it was such a breeze! The shop was quiet, clean, and everyone I met was super friendly. April did my piercing and explained the process to me, and made me feel super comfortable the entire time. Will definitely come here again when it’s time for my next piercing :)

I went in for my first tattoo yesterday. Everyone was really nice as well as professional and the shop was very neat and clean. Noah did my tattoo and it turned out perfect! He made me feel comfortable and at ease during the whole process. He explained aftercare thoroughly and the recommended products were well priced. I will definitely return!

Omg service was so great! I went to go get a daith piercing and the my piercer Chris Steele, I believe , was so great and nice. He is good at conversation and was funny too. Additionally, I think there was a new girl getting trained and she was so nice and pretty. She did great at being in the front desk and the guy training her was great too. Omg also, I had came in on Monday to get my daith after I had called earlier on, but I had to leave due to the present piercer not being able to provide what I wanted and that was totally fine too. That same guy saw me yesterday and gave me a discount which wasn’t nevearry but he did. He was so nice too and totally did more than he needed too. Overall, the service was great from literally everyone!

I don’t live close to this area at all but booked again for the same artist as my first visit. My deposit and appointment were all confirmed when the booked artist was let go from the establishment.I’m traveling for that artists talent so I’m uninterested in other artists. I contacted the establishment FIRST concerning my deposit, this is less than 24 hours since it had been placed. No one in management contacted me until days later, ultimately with no answers.The management attempted to enforce the deposit policy which did not address the circumstances of the booked artist no longer being available. I did not receive an email copy of the policy or receipt for my deposit. In the end, the business has amended their policy after MANY email exchanges over what I found to be a simple situation.Although, my initial experience was wonderful this situation has completely tainted my opinion of the establishment and I will not return. I found the customer service to be very poor and defensive rather than considerate and understanding. There was minimal to no accountability taken in my opinion. I am glad to have my deposit back and that the policy has been revised for future patrons.

Exceptional earlobe piercing experience for my 10-year-old daughter with the EXCELLENT Chris Steele! Chris made my daughter feel so comfortable, from the high-five greeting and enthusiasm about her piercing to talking her through every step. Chris is so patient and kind, and he was wonderful to talk with throughout the session. My daughter loved learning that Chris is a Girl Dad:) Thanks also to Bridget and Omeed at the front desk for making the check-in, jewelry selection, and check-out process so smooth and for making my daughter feel cool when she walked out wearing her earrings. We also enjoyed browsing the beautiful studio/art gallery with Deano Cooks paintings and photography before the piercing session. Who wouldnt feel more relaxed after looking at sea turtle art? Parents, if your child is considering earlobe piercings and youre wondering where to take them, Sink or Swim Studio and Gallery is the place! While this is likely the only piercing well need, Im shouting my five stars from the rooftops so friends and family know about Sink or Swim for their piercing and tattoo needs.

Made an appointment to see artist Rob Thomas to get a Celtic knot trout forearm piece. It looks truly amazing, and his shading/detail is phenomenal. I’d recommend him and this place to anyone wanting a quality tattoo done. Their customer service is also extremely friendly and very accommodating. Not to mention the art gallery they are opening shortly looks amazing with very nice pieces. I’m sure I will be back here in the not too distant future for another piece, and my wife has her eye on some of the artwork in the new gallery. Thank you again Rob for such a great looking piece of work!

Okay this review is about blind faith. I dont have a guy in Atlanta yet and I wanted something pretty big on my calf. I went into the studio and saw one of their artists liked doing Japanese style tattoos which are colorful and tend to be larger. Man, Luis is dope! I gave him an idea and he just took what I wanted and made it 10x better than I thought it would come out even before color. The studio is super fennicky about cleanliness (great thing) and everyone is really cool to hang out with in the shop. My wife had Charlotte do her second tattoo, fantastic line work, and I think she found her artist if she ever wants more. Overall this place is well priced but most importantly clean and the artists are very creative.

So happy with my rework of 2 @ 32 year old tats. Luis did an amazing job at bringing new life to them. Luis was so concerned with my comfort and how I was doing throughout the process and I really appreciate that. I felt the price was a little steep, but you get what you pay for. I will be going back to Luis for at least 2 more new tats.

The whole Sink or Swim team is fantastic. Very friendly and customer oriented. Most importantly , the artists at Sink or Swim are incredible. Rob Thomas created my last two tattoos. A true artist indeed. His work is something I searched for some time. I am glad to have found him.

Very friendly atmosphere and very helpful workers! I enjoyed my experience a lot. However, I did pay quite a bit of money for my three piercings, averaging $86 per piercing, but this does include tip as well as cleaning solution. Overall worth it! Everything was perfect besides the price!

I called spur of the moment and let me tell you.👏🏽What an amazing experience!Noah took care of me.I’ve had several tattoos. He was so effortless and gentle I didn’t feel a thing and my tattoo looks fantastic.This is by far the happiest I’ve ever left getting a tattoo from anyone ever!! Noah will be who I go to forever and always. I can’t speak highly enough about my experience and how easy this was. 10/10This photo is six hours AFTER him doing it and no raise or irritation. That’s how gentle he was. I feel nothing,it looks great and I’m just so ecstatic and amazed at the difference between his work and everyone else’s. Definitely go see him!!

When I went to get my snake bites done, the lady behind the desk that day was beyond helpful (even when I started feeling ill, she helped me back to my car) and my piercer was so kind. Then, when my piercings embedded and I had to get the bar changed today, the gentleman behind the desk was sweet and the piercer there today was so patient with me because I was terrified and didnt know what to expect. Both piercers walked me through everything and overall I felt very welcome here. I would give more than 5 stars if I could, absolutely recommend this place from the bottom of my heart.

Charlotte and Aarahm are fantastic! Charlotte went above and beyond on my tattoo redesign. Aarahm is the best piercer Ive worked with. Definitely recommend seeing these two at Sink or Swim!

The shop is so cool and very clean. Luis was great and fixed my previously botched (by a different shop and artist) tattoo. I can already tell this time it was done correctly and I am so excited to have it looking so fresh. Thank you!

I’m only giving ONE star because (excuse my spelling) miss deserie (she does piercings) was freaking amazing. amazing piercer. but that other lady- DO NOT LET HER TOUCH YOU. i had to take my piercings done by D out due to unfortunate circumstances- so i came back to have them done and i believe her name is April? did them the second time. WAY. TOO. DEEP. called up here many times asking for the younger piercer because april screwed me- i had to take them out immediately. these people wouldn’t tell me when D worked so i could come back to her and they never offered to even look at my piercing or re do them. i paid over $250 at this shop for NIPPLES bro and never even once offered to re do or look at them. i went to another shop, that charged HALF the price, and he did a fantastic job… screw this over priced junk! DO NOT GO TO APRIL. i have been hanging on to my last nipple piercing and today i am having to let it go because of how deep she pierced my nipple! will never recommend anyone i know here ever!!!!!! the pain i felt after she pierced me was so excruciating- i was in pain for a week.

I got my Tragus pierced today by Desiree. The receptionist had amazing customer service and Desiree was very knowledgeable and made the entire piercing process very smooth. The inside of the shop is very beautiful and impeccably clean. I will definitely be returning for my next piercing.

I got a memorial tattoo for the recent passing of my grandfather done by Charlotte. She did amazing on the outline! Going back in 2 weeks for shading. She spent lots of time drawing for me and helped me design it to make it perfect!!

Very clean setting, from front to back, the lady who pierced my nose has very good people skills, she was pleasant & detailed, explaining everything she was going to do b4 hand. Then with the inhale of a very deep breath it was over, Thank you, not a bad experience at all. 🫶

Piercing services are great as always, tattoo services... runI have been a very frequent customer since 2022, have spent a very good amount of money and have referred many friends and family to the shop. I recently came into the shop for their tattooing services. My artist was named Luis. Process of the consultation and paying deposits went smoothly of course. Artists and I came to an agreement of work that was to be completed.The day comes for my tattoos and I arrive 30 minutes early, My appointment was scheduled from 4:30 - 9pm. First, we do not start until an hour and a half later starting at 6pm. We did not finish the service and I was checking out and they told me to come back to the shop to schedule a day for him to finish. I come back to schedule and he wants to make it a whole new session and take payment when he didnt finish what he started. He then tries to explain to me that I was paying for the timeslot, not the tattoos, different from what he said before and the consultant told me. We started late so I didnt get the whole 4.5 hours I paid for but only 3.I came in again and this time I talked to the head tattoo artist named Rob, I explained the situation and he informed me that they would get back to me as soon as possible to solve the problem. It has been a week and a half at this point. The customer service displayed was utterly disappointing and shows a lack of integrity and character when it comes to dealing with customer situations that they are at fault for. I have tried all I could to be in their faces to fix my situation. Noone has given it any effort. And it has been weeks since then!I will no longer be taking my services here. And DO NOT recommend you do either. Very disappointing considering their piercing staff is just excellent.

Very professional, friendly, and personable. April Heart was informative, answered all my questions and was very helpful in doing exactly what I was looking for and the quality of the piercing work is excellent. Would suggest her for all your piercing desires.

I came in to replace my back dermal jewelry. Instead of twisting the jewelry, the piercer took one of the tool’s and pulled the piercing slightly out of my back, now I have to wear band aids again when it was already healed. At least the jewelry was cute.

Absolutely the most professional, patient and creative experience ever! My entire family was able to be served by the staff here. First time tattoo for my son and the artist was patient in helping him create the design he wanted, my daughter received her first piercing and the owner was gentle and made sure she understood aftercare instructions. I received another tattoo on the whelm and they accommodated me as well. Their service extends far more than the tattoo or piercing because they give detailed follow up aftercare instructions and encourage you to call with any questions. This is our family spot and will be going again. If you are considering a tattoo for the first time, this is the place to go. Would recommend over and over.

I love this place so so much! I got a nose piercing here a few years ago and have also come in to have them change the jewelry out of it twice. They are so sweet and helpful! Everyone working there seems to really know their stuff and most people have been working there 15+ years which really says something! I have brought two friends to also get piercings here and they loved it as well! I will always recommend them!

I had a great experience, and everyone was nice. However, I believe either I was over charged or the prices are too high. I understand that there is 100 minimum. My tat took literally not even 2 minutes at the size of a half dollar coin. He charged me 150 dollars. No color done, very thin lines, no shading. Literally 2 minutes. So I went into another tattoo place to check the price of about tattoo I ant. Its about the size of a CD case and more detail. He told me 200. So was I over charged, or are the prices to high?

OMG! Chris steel is most definitely the best piercer out there. Everyone at this tattoo shop is amazing but he just pierced my daith for my migraines. I have pretty intense migraines and I went in today with a headache leftover from my migraine yesterday. When I tell you the pressure in my head went away IMMEDIATELY it literally was gone right then and there. I couldn’t recommend a better place to go to. All the piercers are amazing but I 100% recommend Chris!!

Saw their Instagram story about accepting walk ins from 12-9, I got there at 1:15pm, I dont have a car so I spent money getting there only to find out that walk ins didnt start until 4:30. The woman reception working up front asked what I wanted and where and how big, but never proceeded to ask for any name phone number or email to contact me for further availability. I wasted too much money on a Studio that doesnt seem to care about potential customers. I wont be going back obviously. I was very excited only to be completely let down.

I cannot say enough how much I love this place! We took my six year old to get her ears pierced, and our piercer April was AMAZING. She was patient, engaging, and wonderful. When my kiddo realized she wasnt ready to do the second ear, April affirmed her right to make decisions about her own body, and empowered her to be proud of her one earring. Shes the best!

I just got my nose pierced by April Heart, she just vibes! The whole process was easy and exciting! It was my 37th b-day present from my sister and dad. The building was spotless and clean every one was nice and helpful! April took everything out of steril packaging, the building was top notch. And like I said April just Vibes! Had a great time 🥰

Great shop, took in my walk-in day of, staff was crazy supportive and great to work it. Super clean environment and pleasure to have my tattoo down at this location.

My 10 year old daughter wanted her ears re-pierced so we went to Sink or Swim today . The piercer, April Heart [instagram: @gypsyheartpiercing], took the time to see if she could use a very small taper rather than a needle and she was able to gently slide the taper through the original piercings, which ultimately saved my daughter healing time! April was thorough and first asked questions about how long it had been since my daughter wore earrings and whether she was happy with the placement of the original piercings.Side note: The shop was clean and the woman at the desk who helped us was very nice as well!I really appreciate that Sink or Swim uses flat back titanium threadless studs for ear piercings. The reason we removed my daughters earrings from her original piercing (not done at Sink or Swim but by another professional piercer) was due to a backing to one earring getting too tight and migrating inside of her earlobe without us noticing; tissue then grew through the holes of the backing of the jewelry, which made the backing difficult to remove from her earlobe. The earrings used at Sink or Swim have posts long enough to allow room for swelling and the flat backs are stationary at the end of the post, so there is no worry about the backing becoming too tight against the lobe during healing. Furthermore, when my daughter is ready to change her earrings, it will be easy for her to take off the studs and simply press new ones into the threadless posts.Thank you again, @gypsyheartpiercing and Sink or Swim!

10/10 experience. I got my daith piercing! I am so scared of pain and was SO nervous. I originally came for Chris however he wasn’t here so Desiree took care of me and she was amazing. The pain wasn’t bad at all and it was over so quick. The WHOLE staff was so sweet. I joked about passing out and this sweet woman ran to grab me a water. Will definitely be coming back to get all my other piercings.🤍🤍🤍🤍

Awesome shop and staff. I got a nose and helix piercing with April on Nov 28th. The front desk chick was friendly and answered all my questions. April was kind and supper gentle with piercings. The helix piercing did get infected a couple days later. The nose piercing is doing great. 😀I called the shop and to see if I could have them look at it and of course said come on by. April was there that day and was able to take a look it. It was so swollen she couldn’t grab the earring with fingers. She had to use some tools to unscrew the back. It hurt really bad but again April was as gentle as she could be considering how swollen it was. She got the earring out and said there was no charge for the removal. They usually charge $15 to remove an earring. Even though the helix piercing did not go as well as I hoped, I will still go back to the shop for future piercings. April and the other staff are just awesome!

Ive never been treated with such kindness and hospitality at a tattoo studio before. From check in to check out, everybody was so nice. Even for a flash walk-in!Charlotte was such a pleasure to work with, And I will be scheduling bigger pieces with her in the future.

This was my first tattoo. Noah did amazing!!Super professional, friendly and very talented! I was super nervous getting this piece but found myself falling asleep in the chair. I highly recommend Noah!

After having an appointment booked for 4 months at another studio and paying my deposit, they called me 30 minutes before my appointment to say the artist did not have transportation to make it. I asked if there was anyone else there who was available. They said maybe a spot would open up later that evening. I live about 30 minutes away so that didn’t work for me. Thankfully they were nice enough to refund me my deposit. I called around to a few other studios to see if anyone could squeeze me in because this tattoo was very special to me and I have been waiting a long time to commit to it. When I called Sink or Swim the receptionist was super nice and told me to come on by and they would do their best to fit me in. Super clean studio, super nice staff. Their piercer must be very awesome at what she does because people were lined up for her. I watched her calm down a very scared little girl who wanted her ears pierced and when it was done she came out smiling 😀. They were able to fit me in and I only waited about 45 minutes and provided me with water. Briston Cook was my artist and he made me feel very comfortable. This was my 2nd tattoo. First one on the inside of my left forearm and this one on my right forearm. It was a much calmer and less painful experience this time. The tattoo was exactly what I wanted. It’s the coordinates of where my mothers ashes were scattered in the ocean at St. Marks Florida. I will definitely be returning for anything I want done in the future!

Richard Nunnally did a fantastic job with my tattoo! The artwork is great and he made the design look better than what Id envisioned in my head. My daughter and I got our ears pierced recently with April – there are no words to express how AMAZING our experience was and continues to be! April was so incredibly kind and reassuring, and she is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. My daughter got her nose pierced here and the whole process was quick and easy! We were in and out within 30 minutes and the technician was great with showing her where to put the hole and making sure she was okay with the placement. I’ve gotten tattooed here before as well and that process was quick and easy too.

I was pierced by april heart and she did an amazing job! she was extremely friendly and made sure i was comfortable while in a vulnerable position . she recommended that i come in to downsize my jewelry so everything would be even. i later had my jewelry changed to the size she recommended by chris steele which i dont recomend. i think he may be the owner. he didnt listen to me, was very condescending and made me uncomfortable. he told me i was wrong but he’d do it anyways because hes completely fine with “just making even more money off of me” and there was a point in time where he left me on the table with an empty piercing hole as he gathered the new jewelry to put in (in comparison to a seamless transfer) which really irritated my fresh piercing which is now the same size as the one directly next to it (which had no issue). i’m extremely bothered with his language attitude and tone not to mention how rough he was with me. it’s not every day a grown man tells a 19 year old girl in a vulnerable position he’s ready to make money off of her by doing something he believes will be problematic and need another appointment for.

We took our daughter in for a helix piercing this past weekend and Desiree did a fantastic job. This studio is absolutely GORGEOUS, the rooms are immaculate, and the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Not your typical “tattoo parlor”. I highly recommend!Thank you, Sink or Swim!

Omeed is the greatest person to have at the front desk. During my wait, I saw his customer service skills go unmatched with different interactions with different people/scenarios. The staff here is super nice! They seem super knowledgeable, organized and incredibly professional from the quick visit I had with them today. I want to get another piercing just to come back and spend time with them 😂.Reason for visit (Piercing) : I got an industrial 2 months ago at another shop and started getting these bumps around the ends. My piercer (from the other shop) recommended I shorten the bar. I came here just to buy one but once taking a look at it, their piercer (Chris Steele) was able to explain to me the bar wasn’t the problem but that I should be cleaning my piercing more often. They explained to me why these bumps happen, recommended different methods to clean the wound properly, handled my ear very gently and made me feel super comfortable. I’ve been so nervous about this piercing and he/they was/were able to calm my nerves down in an instant. Everyone was just so nice and obviously really cared about their work. I wished I had come here the first time I got a piercing.Summary: Come here if you want a piercing done. I know for a fact you’ll be in good hands.

This shop is now my new favorite place!!! It was clean, calm, peaceful and very professional. This is what I look for in a body art shop. Everything was 100%. I went in for a vertical labret piercing today (had a standard labret previously, but had to remove due to my aligners). This was by far THE BEST experience I’ve ever had! Chris Steele is experienced, accurate and chill. I love that forceps were not used, and I felt comfortable in his care. I was very pleased with my new piercing! Will definitely be back!

I got my rook pierced here today and I absolutely love it! Chris did such an amazing job. He was very nice and made sure that I understood how to take care of it. He made me feel very comfortable and said that if I had any issues to contact him, which I really like because Ive never had a piercer tell me that and it showed me that he cares about his clients. I went in to get my tragus jewelry changed out because I couldn’t remove the one from my original piercer (no idea it was a push instead of a twist). Chris was amazing and walked me through all my options (and didn’t try to sell me on anything I didn’t need). He was super quick, friendly, and professional. Would highly recommend.

The analytical part of the process ( paying, providing id, signing the waiver ) is all so professional and swift in the best way possible and as someone who gets super anxious the longer i wait, i really appreciate it.I’ve gotten both nostrils and my tongue pierced by Chris and he is absolutely my favorite. He’s also done my girlfriends piercings ( nostril and snake bites ) and he’s always listened to me and her and our preferences on the process and has changed his approach accordingly. After a not so great experience years ago at another shop, I’ve been scared for years to get another tattoo. I would debate getting one and then chicken out. But I still ask around from time to time, and Sink or Swim came highly recommended by several of my clients and friends. I decided to check them out a few months back for a nose piercing. Fantastic experience! I came in for my first piercing, nostril. The studio was bright, clean, and modern, and I liked that there were separate rooms for each client. Everyone I interacted with (on the phone and in person) was professional, kind, and knowledgeable. I was very nervous, and the staff was really amazing: patient and willing to listen to my desires and concerns. April was my piercer and she was just great... she explained everything and put me at ease. I cant compliment them enough.

April is amazing. Long story short I got my rook pierced at another shop for 10$ and after 3 days the jewelry came apart. In a panic, I came to Sink or Swim. She helped me pick out jewelry and cleaned and placed the new jewelry in. A year later I lost my jewelry(my fault) and came back. April again helped me and we even did another piercing! I can honestly say I barely felt it. She was great. Love the jewelry options. For those that say its over priced...I strongly believe you get what you pay for. Which is exactly what I got my first time around. You should never go cheap with piercings.

First of all, let me say the guy behind the desk was SUPER sweet and polite!I went in for an emergency body jewelry replacement. The atmosphere is SUPER comforting, and you feel a bit like youre checking into a nice hotel spa instead of a tattoo/ piercing shop. Everyone I dealt with was VERY respectful and knowledgeable. This is definitely on my list of places to get art done when Im in town!

I had a nose piercing with good aftercare instructions. I wanted to add a hoop to my stud and found a handcrafted hoop on Etsy three months after my piercing. When it came, I researched my stud and learned that it was a labret. I removed it to add the hoop, but couldnt reinsert it. I needed a tool that no one offered me on my initial appointment. I ordered one online, but with a three day delivery my piercing started closing up. Once the tool set came, they were all the wrong size. After a frustrating series of attempts, Im left with a tender nose, and no piercing. I feel that I should have been given more information on my first appointment. Now I have to make another trip to the studio.

Was super nervous getting my ears pierced at a tattoo parlor for the first time but Chris made the experience amazing. So funny and such a nice guy!! He did an amazing job on all 4 of my piercings and as a plus the place was so nice and clean.

I was a little apprehensive about coming to a place like this. I dont have any ink or piercings. However, my 13 year old wanted an ear piercing. So I went, and boy was I glad I did. These folks were super friendly from the nice lady behind the desk to Chris Steele, the gentleman who pierced Emilys ear. Chris was extremely professional and very good with kids. My expectations and what actually happened were completely different. Dont be like me, this place was completely professional and the staff were extremely courteous, so dont hesitate to go. I was hesitant, but now it will be my go to place for my daughters piercings.

I have had nothing but a pleasant experience so far. My artist, Chet, is kind and patient and probably the lightest hand I have ever had tattoo me. We only have outline and black shading so far but he got an extraordinary amount of work done in the time we had. Front desk staff both days I went (consult first then start day) were so friendly...actually...they were really sweet but dont tell them I told you. 😉😉 Loved my experience and cannot wait to see the finished work!!

This was exactly the experience we were looking for in getting our 6yo’s ear pierced. The staff was great; helpful, polite, kind. Our kid was in the driver seat, no pressure or coercion. We needed a little extra support a couple weeks after the piercing and April responded quickly. We will be back if and when our other child wants to pierce their ears too.

My daughter got her earring ripped out while playing with friends. I had the most amazing experience with Chris who pierced both my ears today. He has a great personality and took amazing care of me to explain why he was piercing my ears where he did. I had no prior knowledge and he educated me about the proportions as well as proper after care. This was exactly what we were searching for when getting our 6-year-ear olds pierced. The staff was excellent; they were helpful, polite, and friendly. There was no coercion or pressure on our child. We needed some extra help a few weeks following the piercing, and April was ready to answer. We will return if our other child wishes to have their ears pierced as well.

10/10. I took my little girl there to get her ears pierced. Jessie at the front desk was fantastic and very nice. Desiree was going to pierce my girls ears but at the last minute she got nervous. We walked outside for fresh air and a chat and she ultimately decided to wait. Desiree and Jessie were so gracious, kind, and understanding. We will DEFINITELY be going back when she’s more comfortable.

We called earlier in day to ask about piercings. They close at 10p and she said as long as you make it before closing (10p) we would be good to go. We drove out from midtown & we arrive at 9P. The front desk worker (Desiree- who is also the piercer) claimed they ended at 9P. We began saying how we called and a guy came out and said we could receive the piercings. Desiree was very unpleasant and it showed she did not want to pierce us. Very bad experience and would not recommend.

April did an excellent job at my septum piercing. I havent had a facial piercing before but she coached me through what to expect. She made sure to do everything in her power to get it straight, and it is! Quick and painless. Made sure my jewelry was the right size and sized it up for me when it was a little small. She took the time to explain all of what she was doing, step by step, so I could feel informed about the process. She has an excellent bedside manner, so to speak, and I absolutely love the results. DO NOT GO HERE FOR PIERCINGS!!! I went there for a septum piercing in September, and not only was I charged $100 for the service including basic jewelry, but my piercer was very inexperienced and made the process terrible. Was told to take the deep breath before the needle was even being held up to my nose!!! Could notice the day after it was pierced it was through my cartilage which is incorrect placement for a septum.

Everyone was very friendly (reading the reviews, I was nervous about the front desk guy, but I assume he was replaced). The environment was clean and the piercer was excellent with kids! He meets with you and your kid first to make sure it is what the kid wants and that they are mature enough to sit still for it. There were no tears and lots of giggles from my 5 year old and we now have a very happy kid with pierced ears and a great experience to boot! I would reccomend this place to anyone with a little (or big kids :p) getting their ears pierced. We are about a 5 days out and no redness, swelling, or irritation.

Chris did an amazing job with my piercing today, he was able to fix a decade old piercing I got at a mall counter and perfectly spaced 2nd piercings on each ear. Chris kept me calm even with a massive fear of needles and chatted with us the whole time. I’ll be recommending here to everyone I can!(Also shout out to the staff for keeping the place running even with the systems down, thank you!!)

I think their artist are good. I most disappointed with the service they provided. My wife was sick with covid, we tried to swap so the artist didnt lose money but they decided to pretty much keep the deposit and told me that I couldnt because my tattoo was probably not ready to begin. When my appointment was due, my artist got covid and they just canceled. I had to call to rebook my appointment and when I finally got there the artist didnt even have my sketch ready. So pretty much they took my wife deposit and after going to a different artist to do some touch up I pretty much had to spent more money because the job was not worth it. They are good people in general but the business moto is not what I expected.

Are you kidding me? The absolute best experience in the world! The staff greeted me, offered water, and made sure I was comfortable the entire visit. I have spent many 6+ hour sessions here working on a full back piece. That’s a long time and I was never forgotten. They even offered to go get me lunch!The artist: Deano Cook is far ahead on his techniques and talent of the industry. He is always professional and focused. We spent a few hours with him asking for my desires, input, going over images (his awesome underwater photography is amazing BTW)! He truly took all my input into the design and made my mind’s image BETTER!! He has the most hygienic and through practice I have ever seen (even when I compare to dentist, optometrist, and doctors).Anyone looking for piercing (which my wife had here) or tattoos, why would you go anywhere else? Oh, I almost forgot, the renovation they did this year is FANTASTIC! It feels like a high-end spa or living room area but its an art studio, piercing studio, and tattoo studio for some of the nicest and most talented people I know!

So me and my family came to this place for simple piercings. 2 nose piercings and ears piercing. The prices are ridiculously expensive. For those three piercings, we paid I know in all 300$. My brother got ears pierced now one of those holes was already open. So everybody has problems with there piercings and the end of July will make two months we have had it. I got a nose piercing with a hoop and 2 weeks afterwards. I got an irrational bump, my original piercer was not working so another piercer said oh just use your saline spray and Neosporin. Here it is 3 weeks still no change in bump. I went and seen my original piercer she suggested jewelry change ok, so on top of the 300$. I had to paid a 32$. My mother nose piercing ring came out, and yet on top of her original 70 she had to paid another 25$. To get them to put her ring back in. Then also my brother one of his ear piercing came out and on top his 220$ he had to pay another 30$. Just have been problems on top of problems, and more money. E have not been able to enjoy our piercings at all. Just so upsetting. I don’t recommend this place at all. I will use ice and safety pin before I come back there.

You will not find a better tattoo experience. Excellent customer service and even better artists. From the first time I walked in I was greeted at the door by multiple people, all super professionally. I sat down with Rob Thomas to consult my tattoo. He really cared about what I wanted and came up with a way to get it done. Rob delivered an absolute amazing tattoo for me. Highly recommend.

Took my 6 yo to have her ears pierced. Chris was AMAZING and engaging. Talked her through EVERY step and deftly distracted her during the actual piercing. It was the perfect experience and I 100% recommend him for all your piercing needs!

My tattoo artist Richard was cool and pleasant to work with; however, front desk guy made it feel like some kind of scam. For example, I was led to believe that I would not be charged a ridiculous price for two small tattoos that took less than 30 minutes, but when it’s time to pay- it was a different story. I should have rethought going through with the process simply because he wouldn’t give me a set price based on the tats. My bad... sometimes convenience isn’t the best choice.

The guy at the front desk, Briston, I believe his name was was very rude. He made multiple rude comments for no reason when I am a paying customer. It was very unacceptable. It felt as if I was being rushed out of the store. I hope they get a new front desk employee. On the bright side, I’ve been to sink or swim multiple times before and I love the lady who did my piercings she is great, very helpful and makes you feel very comfortable.

Great, knowledgeable staff. The tattoo artist made me feel very relaxed, and my piercer was so quick and sweet it made the experience fabulous. Theyre the only place Ill go for any more tattoos or piercings.

I drove from Alabama to get a tattoo for me and piercing for my daughter along with a couple of friends.Please do your research before paying their prices. The amount they charged me for doing 10 minutes of work will leave you speechless. Their jewelry, their services, everything was overpriced. I wish I had done some research before going here. I feel like I got scammed. Will not be going back!!

I was fortunate enough to get Richard as a walk-in client and since then, hes the only artist to do my tattoos. He has done some incredible work over the years and I highly recommend him. Hes very patient and wants to make sure youre happy with the design, size, and placement of each tattoo.

Last week was the first time I have ever been here. I had one tattoo touched up and got a new one while I was there. Richard was the artist who did mine. He did a GREAT job. He improved a tattoo that I already had and the new one is perfect. He is a great guy and knows what he is doing. I will be back for more!

Amazing place and amazing staff! Briston is clear on expectations and super sweet. He calmed the nerves of a nervous mom on the phone and in person by being honest and direct. April was amazing, informative, and professional. She was calm and told us everything we need to know on the phone and in person as well. They are on the expensive side, but worth every penny when it comes to cleanliness and professionalism. Honestly, exceeded my expectations and will recommend these guys to everyone I know!!! Took my teenage daughter in for a nostril piercing. The gentleman at the front desk (cant remember his name) was very helpful. He helped us pick out the perfect ring and went over costs, which was spot-on. No surprises. Chris Steele was our piercer. Not only was he a superb professional, he was friendly and had fantastic bedside manner, which helped put my daughter and me at ease. He was an all-around cool dude. I highly recommend this studio. Formally known as Psycho Tattoo, theyve rebranded over the last 2 years and now its Sink or Swim Studio and Gallery. Chris has been at this location for 19 or 20 years. Over the years, Ive used the studio for 1 of my tattoos and 2 separate body piercings. The studio is SUPER CLEAN, modern, and follows all applicable COVID rules and suggestions. Deano Cook has done a fantastic rebrand with this tattooing and piercing gem, but the gallery inside showcasing his aquatic art is not to be missed! I most definitely recommend this location for body art and piercings, as well as exotic body jewelry pieces. I also recommend it to any curator of ocean animal artwork. Always great ink work by Chris. The studio is always clean and is a nice break from some of the dingier options around, or what you’d normally be used to at a tattoo shop.The employees are always pleasant and it’s the #1 shop I feel comfortable recommending.

Where do I start… I had planned on getting my left nostril pierced and my right nostrils hoop exchanged. when I got there last night they pierced my left nostril and exchanged my right hoop. what they did not tell me was that the material they were using was titanium and cubic zirconium! I am highly allergic to cubic zirconia! When I woke up this morning I had a rash all over my face and all over my body because of the materials that they use! I called up to the Shop and advised them of what was going on. All they told me was that I should have asked what material was being used! The person at the front desk of the shop said that very nonchalantly like he did not care that I had a very bad allergic reaction! So now I have to go to another piercer and spend more money just to get this fixed! So before you go to the shop make sure you ask questions or otherwise, if you’re like me where you are very allergic to certain metals and or material you will end up with rashes and even when I asked for a refund they said it was nonrefundable. So now I have wasted so much money just to get these things replaced and a new piercing with materials that I am allergic to and now having to spend additional money to get new jewelry from another shop with 316 L surgical steel which I have never had an issue with and white Opal which is an even better material to cubic zirconia because this shop did not do it’s due diligence and explaining exactly what they are going to put in before purchase, if you want to spend money just to spend money then go to this place because they will not explain anything to you before they pierce your body with possibly highly highly allergic materials for you .also they are HIGHLY OVERPRICED.

I have never felt inclined to write a bad review for a place, but after some consideration I have decided I need to. I went for my first ever tattoo here and had very high expectations after having gotten my nose pierced here. When I came to get my tattoo the people were all very nice and attentive, so I felt comfortable. When the artist said he could do it for **** I, an unknowing and optimistic person, thought I was getting a good deal. Needless to say, the tattoo not only turned out nothing like the picture (which I can understand he is not perfect), but was distorted and missing important pieces. I soon found out that I was completely ripped off and the tattoo should have been max half what I paid. When I went somewhere else to have it fixed the artist said he could easily fix everything the original artist had said he couldnt. Unfortunately for me, I ended up paying a lot of money and still not getting my dream tattoo. I dont want to say names and I can only speak for this one artist, but I definitely wont be coming back.

Ive been taking my kids here for years to get them piercings. The staff is so sneezing amazingly friendly and courteous that I cant recommended them enough. The studio is always immaculately cleaned the studio sets the standard for what a tattoo studio should be!!

My dad had Richard do his tattoo and he touched up all his previous ones He suggested I go see him for my first tattoo. I got a tattoo about the size of my hand, the silhouettes of two birds, and he did an amazing job. I felt very welcome right when I walked in and everyone there is eager to greet you. Very friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Im sure Ill be back for more!

I went here for daith piercing due to severe migraines today.......this place...the minute we walked in, the atmosphere was just superb, they made us feel super comfortable. Chris Steele pierced me, I could tell the minute he started talking us through it that he loves what he does and most importantly the knowledge he has about piecing was mind blowing....and MUST I not forget to say how clean this place is.
