Amazing and welcoming atmosphere! Mark did my tattoos and did absolutely amazing! I highly recommend going here especially if you decide last minute you want a tattoo because they are one of not too many placed that take walk ins! This place was also very clean!

Josh was very kind to me and my best friend. We decided on a whim to get tattoos and called several places and he was willing to get us in without an appointment. This was my second tattoo and my first experience (elsewhere) was not pleasant. This time was so much better. Highly recommend, would go back if i find myself in the area again.

My experiences at Coast to Coast have been nothing less of perfect. Mikey is a very chill guy, very comfortable shop environment to be in. I am really bad at twitching during tattoos, and he was very understanding and patient with me during my session. Great experience and would recommend to anyone looking for a tattoo shop in Charlotte.

Have gone to Mark now 3 separate times for traditional tattoos, nothing but great things to say about him and the shop in general! Great atmosphere and great people always working and chatting around the shop.

Love this shop!! Ive only been tattooed by Nathan. I followed him from another shop. He is a great person and artist. Great communication, attention, and detail. Ive had friends get work by other artist in the shop and they are all as happy as I have been. Never heard anything remotely close to negative about anyone here. 100% would recommend for anyone looking for a great tattoo at a great shop!!

The shop is super cool, clean, and all of the artists are great. I’ve sat with Mikey for two different tattoos and will be back for more. This place is the spot if you’re into American traditional tattoo or if your looking to get anything done. Can’t recommend enough!

I have five tattoos from Coast to Coast and I wouldnt go to any other shop. Jeff Davis did my first tattoo and the environment, cleanliness, and friendliness of the shop made my first experience the best. Coast to Coast has the best traditional tattooers in all of Charlotte, and I couldnt recommend this place any more. Mikey, Jeff, Nathan, and Matt have a special talent unmatched to anyone.

Was able to get a quick little walk-in tattoo completed with Josh today. He was professional, informative and friendly and the whole shop was clean and covered in beautiful art. Really happy with my new tattoo and I look forward to returning in the future.

My friend and I were just walk-ins for a small tattoo, but we felt beyond welcomed here. Everyone is awesome to chat with, and Matt did a phenomenal job! He took what could have been just a simple tattoo and added more depth. A true artist! Would recommend this place to anyone!

Coast to Coast is amazing! Ive only ever worked with Nate but everyone is always incredibly nice and welcoming. Nate has designed several tattoos for me including this one. Will absolutely being going back for all my ink needs.

Amazing tattoo shop. Its clean, well lit, and has a relaxed atmosphere provided by the great people working there. The tattoos are professional, classic, bold, and have come out perfect every time me and my friend have stopped in. Mikey is an amazing artist. My girlfriend & I are from Toronto, always down in Charlotte visiting my family. Last trip we wanted some tattoos. We had ran into Nathan randomly at an outlet mall, and he was honestly such an awesome dude that we decided to message him a couple days later for some tattoos.The shop is clean, obviously friendly, and the artists are all awesome/super talented.Coast To Coast is now a staple every time we come down for a visit.Thanks, Eh!

I have been tattooed by Jeff and Mikey and both of them were quick and professional. I had a great time getting tattooed and really felt comfortable in the shop, it was so clean! I love knowing I can get a solid, clean tattoo from anyone I work with here!

Theres something about the atmosphere these guys create that puts you at peace with confidence.Ive now had 2 bold, beautiful pieces of art placed on my body from Mikey. Flawless, gifted work. With the work & class this shop provides I have no doubt in my mind that Coast to Coast Tattoos are here to stay. These guys have found the perfect middle ground between professional & family. I am not a fan of this place. The people are really nice but the work is very basic to me. They aren’t an “out of the box” type shop. I’ve gone here for 2 tattoos now and had different people for both. The first guy was extremely heavy handed and I felt he just wanted my tattoo done quickly. I ended up going to a different shop to get it finished and my second tattoo was a touch up of one done at home and again the guy (different guy) was very heavy handed and was just doing the bare minimum to make me happy. Over all I feel like they are only in this for the money and not to really give you what you want for a decent price

Been going to this shop for a few years now. Very clean, professional and dedicated staff. Mikey is a legend and does amazing work and the rest of his team is the same way. If you are interested in a shop that will take care of YOUR NEEDS and not their own, then you should go to Coast to Coast.

Brought my friend here some days ago after she did some research on the shops in the area. These guys had the better review on Yelp, so we came by that evening. Five mins for a roman numero birthday tat on the shoulder and were out the door. The place is clean, the price was great, and the guys that greeted us were professional, knowledgeable, and confident in delivering a great tattoo for my friend. She loved it. Great work guys! Ill definitely come here for mine soon.

I can’t say enough good things about this shop. Nearly *every wall* is covered in unique flash. It’s got a great atmosphere. It’s always very clean. They always play cool tunes (Funkadelic!!!). This shop also has guest artists from out of state occasionally.Mikey, Nate, and Natalie are incredibly skilled artists. Plus they treat you with respect. Showed up on a Thursday at noon for a walk-in and Mikey hooked it up fatty style. The man was fast efficient and Totally professional! due to the nature of tattooing I got to chat with some of the other artist and it all just felt like home.

Mikey and the homies at coast to coast are truly a great group and some of the best artists in the city. You can tell they love their work and they all hype each other up to do dope stuff, true family vibes here and the work speaks for itself!

Outstanding shop full of professionals. I was in CLT on a trip for work and wanted to get tattooed. I was lucky enough to get tattooed by Miley Holmes (@mikeyholmestattooing) the shop was in a cool part of town with lots of culture. Right around the corner from killer food. Lots of cool flash everywhere in the shop if you’re not sure want you want to get. I hope to someday be tattooed by their entire roster. I will be back.

Great shop and Great vibes. The place to go in NC for the best Tradarional work. Was visiting from New York with a buddy, called the shop asked if they can take 3 walk ins. They didn’t bat an eye took us right in we chose from a great selection of flash. 10/10 would get stabbed again.

Literally just walked in to see about getting a tattoo and a guy with red hair was very nasty and rude didn’t even seem interested in trying to acquire a customer nothing on business says appointments only he didn’t even try to tell me to come back just said he was busy and could not take anymore people in the building
