We went to yesterday’s flash sell for Friday 13, I have to say the flash sheet was awesome! They are always so good about having options one might actually want. My daughter and I both got a tattoo and we had the good fortune of having Brenda and Martin tattoo us. They were super friendly they completely took in what we wanted and the coloring we wanted and delivered. The results were better than I imagined and I can’t see myself going anywhere else but ink elephant I highly recommend them to everyone.

I love the vibe and the service here! I’ve gotten all my most recent tattoos done with Zach! He always makes me feel comfortable and puts a lot of attention into designing the piece and shows me sizing and placement! Zach is super patient and has a great attention to detail!

Super clean and friendly. Got a tattoo with Raul, he was really nice and understood what I wanted. He made sure to ask questions and that I was comfortable. Overall an amazing experience and highly recommend getting work done with Raul, really talented artist!

Went in as a walk-in to get BFF tattoos and were able to get tattooed on the spot. Raul did a great job! Booked the start of a sleeve with him as soon as he was done. All the artists are extremely friendly and social. 5 stars!! Definitely recommend!

DAVE WAS THE BEST PIERCER I HAVE EVER CAME ACROSS. The rooms are extremely clean, and he sterilizes the equipment in front of you. He would talk the steps through with me. I scheduled 2 piercings. I almost backed out after the 1st piercing- but motivated me to get the second and I’m so happy with them! I also cried and he provided caprisun and stickers. Lol. Thank you Dave for going the extra mile and checking up on my ear post piercing. Don’t ever change, y’all are lucky to have him.

Best tattoo experience. They are welcoming chill and great eye for what will look good. I reached out to Danny Soto on Instagram (@unbread) and had an appointment set up the very next week. Professional gave great advice and great vibe. Will be going back for at least two more tattoos. Highly recommend

Honestly some of the most welcoming artists in the valley! The shop is cute, I definitely recommend Raul (rattoes) he was very patient with my design choice and knocked it out of the park! My manager and coworker also comes in for her tattoos with sharky (Zach), overall a go to place for killer work ✨

Best piercing experience E V E R. Dave is absolutely amazing and the standards here are so admirable and should be the standard!!!! I’ve gotten pierced from places that didn’t check my ID, didn’t make me sign a waiver, didn’t tell me aftercare instructions. I’ve had piercers talk me out of where I wanted my piercing to be. You could have high standards for a piercer and will either be satisfied or blown away by the service and attention here. I am so happy i chose to go here and I would absolutely come back and recommend it to EVERYONE!My girlfriend and I came here to get our noses pierced. My gf had a hole that closed already, so he pierced her in the same spot. He opened the needles separately each time and talked us each through the entire process as he was doing it. It helped so much. He pierced her quickly and (relatively) painlessly and then used the corkscrew piercing and got it through. Hers looks so good!When it was my turn, I told him I already had my left nostril pierced and wanted to have an identical piercing on my right. Although that’s hard to mimic, he measured it, took his time to align them, and wiped off the marks every time I wasn’t happy until I was. As a people pleaser, I didn’t feel bad asking him to redo it because he made me so comfortable. He really wants to make sure the customer is happy and it shows. He pierced me and it was great; he showed me the piercing before hand too because I was recently pierced really badly with a small piercing that came out the same day. Their jewelry and pricing ROCKS!We are so happy. The experience from start to finish was amazing. After care instructions were so great and easy to follow! We got the stuff he suggested. He also lets customers write him with questions - so grateful. 1000000/10 truly!!!! Thank you Dave and those at Ink Elephant!💛

I am so happy with my piercings. I got 2 piercings done. My first piercing being the nipple piercings and second being the vch piercing. I did my research before hand reason being that the nipple piercings were going to be my very first piercings. I came across The Ink Elephant and really liked the environment in this place. I highly recommend getting any type of piercings with Dave. He was very professional. He prepares everything right in front of you showing you that everything is properly cleaned and sterilized. Before I got the vch done he assured me that there would be a female in the room while getting my piercing to make you feel as comfortable as you can be. I had a great experience with both my nipple and vch piercing. I even asked if I would be allowed to record with the vch and the female in the room was very kind to do the recording for me. I also went prepared with questions to assure myself the best healing process for my aftercare. Dave was very helpful in answering everything. Again I HIGHLY recommend Dave for your piercings. My experiences for both piercings were more than expected. Very satisfied with the results!

Really hard to get a hold of people. Would message multiple artists/ shop then get no response up to a month. I’d ask if they could please let me know if they couldn’t move forward with me and they’d simply not respond. Did a tattoo and a touch up both healed not that great. Was told a tattoo couldn’t be done small by anyone that they just use fake tattoos for those images so now I have a mirror on my arm that is way bigger then I would’ve wanted. With way thicker lines than I would have liked. Learned my lesson that artists simply want business and will say what they have to. Wouldn’t say the shop isn’t worth going to it’s just been a crummy experience for me. Artists I worked with are Zach & Johnny simply didn’t respond. Hope your experience is better than mine.

My experience has always been GREAT! I am never disappointed not one bit! The customer service is amazing, along with the rest of the staff! They are quick and happy to help. Me and my Fiancé go all the time for our tattoos. Johnny is my guy i go with and is hands down one of the best and always leave my tattoo’s exactly the way I want it! Ink elephant is such a cool place to get a tattoo. Good vibes and great people. Hit up Martin for your next tattoo. He has done 6 pieces on me and each and every one of them have come out fantastic. So far I’ve gotten black and grey and neo traditional color tattoos and he has produced excellent work.

This tattoo/piercing shop is very clean and has a friendly ambience!I got my nose pierced by Dave. They were so kind and professional throughout the whole process. Daves explanations were thorough (through the steps of getting pierced and aftercare) and made sure I was feeling okay. This was my second time going in to get a piercing. Different piercer the second time. Dave was pretty good, explained the process of what was going to happen and made sure I was calm. Very friendly vibe from the other artists at the parlour and would recommend others to go there to get mods done.

This place is awesome! Very clean and inviting, they got a lot of cool reptiles to look at while you wait and the artist there are fun to talk to. I went with Raul for my tattoo artist there, and I appreciate how welcoming he makes you feel and the entire session is full of laughs, time goes fast and by the time you know it, your tattoo is done! Went a couple days ago for my forearm tattoo. I was really impressed with the hospitality Jonathan Baker provided me with. Asked if i need a break every now and then and everything went smoothly. Tattoo looked dope and he was really professional and down to earth dude. Definitely recommend !

Dave was amazing! He made it a great piercing experience and was so helpful during the process. He gave us an aftercare regimen and that was much appreciated. The shop itself was also super clean, smelled great and had good vibes 💯

Everyone super nice and friendly went there kinda scared for a piercing and they made me feel comfortable and safe with the procedure and kept me informed on how to take care of piercing.

Got my nose and helix pierced with Dave. Veryprofessional and made sure I saw thateverything was new and sanitized walked me through every step so I didn’t freak out. Very chilland friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend! And they have cute reptiles to look at while you wait your turn ❤️🥰

I just got my first tattoo a week ago. This place is great they are very welcoming when you walk in . I got my tattoo done by Johnny he did a awesome job love my wolf tattoo. He makes sure your comfortable by talking to you awhile hes tattooing you . I well highly recommend Johnny and I am definitely going back to get some more tattoos done by him.

Everyone working here is so nice! I mainly go for the piercings, and their main piercer is just outstanding. Hes generous with his time and advice, and incredibly honest. I appreciate that hes the kind of person who wont just take your money and give you a shoddy piercing, and that hed rather do you right. Also the lady in front is very sweet and seems very pure and lovely.

Went to the Ink Elephant on a whim for my first tattoo. Met with Zach, told him what I was looking for and he quickly drew it up. The whole experience was great, pretty painless, and fast! So happy with my tattoo and already planning the next! Thanks, Zach! You’re the best!

My ol lady had her nose ring done here, you can order new piercings for around $20 by talking to the piercing artist, who by the way was amazing, very polite, nice, and comforting. The energy of the place is immaculate! Reptiles, plants, laughter and smiles kept me company in the business as I waited for her to finish up what she was wanting. I really recommend this place to anyone wanting to have some body modifications but having an uncomfortable feeling about who is doing it and any other issues that may arise. Say like my ol lady loves that they have a female artist because she is nervous for men to be around certain areas that she would like art work performed. Excellent service and environment!

I went in pretty nervous because I didnt like needles but always wanted my nipples pierced. David was my piercing professional and he really made me feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

I went in to go with a girl named genesis about a year ago already, I will give her props for my beautiful tattoos but I just wanna say for one the ink she used has my skin itching every now in then so maybe that is my fault I didn’t check in with the ink she uses…also I had set and PAID a deposit for an appointment with her for another tattoo went in and thought she had drew out what I wanted…didn’t do that…instead recreated a whole other stencil of something I DID NOT ASK FOR. i said I didn’t like it and so she “tried” to work on doing the stencil I asked for and then gave up on it in like 10 minutes…and said she couldn’t that she would reschedule another day for me to get what I wanted done…instead of refunded me my deposit and admitting she couldn’t do it, she had me did a whole run around to reschedule me and never did my tattoo…STOLE MY DEPOSIT and to this day has never reached out to do my tattoo…very disappointing…and very upsetting. I went in and made a complaint with someone, said they would reach out to me and get me my tattoo and never did. i will never be going back here or recommending this place again.

I went to get my first tattoo here and the service was amazing and the tattoo is exactly how I wanted it and I got it from Zach and he was amazing very fine lines and work is amazing. I would recommend this place and point them to Zach, to any one of my friends or family member.

Ive had the pleasure of getting tattooed by two talented artist at this shop and I can do nothing but rave about the work theyve done on me. Ive gotten tattooed at other shops throughout McAllen but this shop is by far the most professional. The staff is friendly and inviting. They answered all my questions and ensured I was pleased with the design (fixing anything I mentioned). This shop has become my go-to place. If youre considering giving them a visit I assure you, you wont be disappointed.

Very clean & beautiful shop ( 1st time ever in a tattoo shop) got my lobes done with bridge & I am so happy with the result . I’ve gotten them 3 times before all got infected so bad I had to remove the earring with in a few hours with how bad the swelling was . Bridge took the time to make sure they were even & that I was happy with their placement prior , she didn’t rush & made me feel so comfortable & relaxed . Almost a whole day later & there isn’t any swelling & they don’t feel sore what’s so ever ! Definitely will be returning to get more done 😍❤️

Amazing place, people are super friendly. Place is extremely clean and organized. They do an amazing job with the tattoos and they dont just do a tattoo to get the money the actually help you figure out the best way to get it done and who would be best suited to do it for you. Amazing service

Got my septum, industrial, and eyebrow piercings all done here and all of them have gotten infected and had to be redone :)) which is weird because my nostril piercing and lip piercing done by another piercer are all perfectly fine. also while piercing my eyebrow the piercer redid it twice because he placed it in the wrong spot. this is the scar that my old piercing left vs my new one by a different piercer

Please please DO NOT GET TATTOO BY JOHNNY!!!He has a HORRIBLE PERSONALITY AND ARTIST!!Could not do a simple small tattoo. Look like a black smudge. I told him that is was horrible and i didnt like it. he said why didnt I say something at that time was REALLY DEFENSIVE!!!Just please dont get anything done by him.The only reason you can make out what the tattoo is. Is because its zoomed in.I hate looking at this tattoo everyday!!!And they did not want to do anything about it.So, I Do not recommend a place that does not own up to their mistakes.Sad thing is that it was a simple tattoo and he managed to mess it up.

5 weeks healed. My daughter wanted this piercing and the gentleman helped, and guided her very well. He was very knowledgeable and explained the whole process. Very sanitary.

Not going here again. When I met with the piercer he was somewhat rude to me. Seemed almost annoyed at my presence and it felt condescending. He charged me 15 dollars to literally look at my nose and tell me it was closed. He didnt do anything. He said it was a service fee which is a euphemism for them taking my money for doing something that requires no skill or effort. He was cold when looking at my nose, didnt make any conversation. Then told me to follow him on Instagram. Yeah right. Dont go here.

They over price due to how there isn’t many tattoo shops in the valley. The piercer guy was super pretentious. He messed up my friend eyebrow piercing and her septum. He had to Pierce twice into each. I don’t recommend.

Business hours advertised as 12:00-10:00 pm, went in at 1:35 pm and no one was available. One artist and a customer were discussing future work, but no one else available to answer questions. Very unprofessional.

Just went in to ask for some info, and staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Their studio was very bright and clean.

Had work done here by Martin and its the best Ive had done! Prices were fair and the studio is very clean!
