All I can say is Mandy! Mandy is such a wonderful person! My daughter got her nose pierced on a Saturday, and it slipped out on a Monday unfortunately. I contacted Mandy on Monday(the shop was closed), and she had us meet her at the shop and she took care of the situation! She is such a genuine, knowledgeable artist, and from here on out, I will be at Anvil for any piercings or tattoos that I will need! Thanks Mandy!

If you have teens that want a piercing done, bring them here! Mandy is such a friendly, informative and patient piercer, very thorough with each step of the way and provides great after care instructions! Btw, bring cash; its a cash only establishment!

Great shop! I tracked down Waylon when he moved to Anvil Tattoo from Lone Star Tattoo and was very pleasantly surprised with the place. I had a good time and got a phenomenal piece, as always from Waylon.Scheduled the appointment about two weeks in advance by text. I hadnt brought cash (payment by cash only!!) and they were very flexible with letting me go withdraw some and then coming back. We got started about 30min later.I provided some reference photos and Waylon sketched the design directly onto my arm with a sharpie, and then refined it with a finer pen once wed confirmed it. All in all I was there for about four hours, and Waylon finished all of my upper left halfsleeve except for a sliver on the inside of my arm. Ill be going back in a few weeks so he can finish that part.$240 for the piece. Very good price, very good work! I definitely recommend this shop. Waylon is a seasoned tattoo artist and oversees most of the art in the shop, so the work is a lot more reliable and trustworthy than many of the other shops in McKinney.

Went in on my birthday and bought myself a pair of eyebrow piercings. Loved the results!

They are amazing! They are very friendly and customer oriented. We got home and realized my boyfriends tattoo wasnt exactly right. We went back and they fixed it to his liking at no cost and no hesitation. We will be back for sure!

Mandy is most likely the best body piercing professional in the entire world! I came into her studio just to see if I had the anatomy for a belly button piercing and she determined in seconds that I absolutely am. I was a bit surprised but she said, “You are not just a good candidate but you are a REALLY good candidate for a navel piercing.” I got intrigued and decided to do it! She was so helpful and had the most soothing presence; I felt like I was in the best hands in the world. I LOVE my belly button piercing thanks to her! She made it look so beautiful! It’s definitely a huge boost of confidence as well.Ask for Mandy! She is the best in the world!

Anvil Tattoo is a great shop! I was a walk in and Waylon did two tattoos for me right away. He respected what I wanted and didnt try to change my mind-I feel like some tattoo shops do this. The price was BEYOND reasonable and the work was gorgeous! I will definitely come back here for all my other tattoos. Cash only!

Mandy did a great job on my sons ears. He was pretty nervous but wanted the piercings more than he was scared, and she did great with him! Really put him at ease, was thorough making the piercings symmetrical, just all around pleasant and professional. Will definitely be back

Although Anvil was not my first choice it turned out to be a blessing. Mandy was very informative, knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. I was nervous and anxious about getting my nose pierced but Mandy talked me through the whole process and I’m EXTREMELY pleased. Prior to getting the piercing, I’d received mixed reviews about the pain. For me it did hurt because I have low tolerance for pain but the pain didn’t last long so I was happy about that.

Amazing place to get piercing and tattoos. Mandy and Waylon are amazing people and are amazing at what they do. Going back very soon to get more work done.

Absolutely phenomenal place, the environment alone is so chill and welcoming that you instantly felt comfortable being there. Waylon was very patient with my friend and I, he has such a light hand and has great talent! Cannot wait for the next ink therapy session. They are reasonable with their prices, and I will definitely be coming back

I went to go get my second piercing on my lobes and it was such a great experience! My piercer was Mandy and she was so sweet and made it a lot easier process for me :) I’m terrified of needles but was very comfortable and taken care of. Will be coming here for future piercings!!

Have been here a couple of times. Everyone is very nice and professional. Justin Manley is awesome and I have spent 13 hours over 3 sessions with him for my arm tattoo. I love the work hes done and would totally recommend him.

Took my friend here to get her piercing, girl who did it had no idea what she was doing and now my friend piercing is swollen and it wasn’t even done correctly. has to get it re done and they don’t do refunds so money wasted and service after calling was bottom of the barrel. very upsetting experience and will not be coming here again.
