Lyons Den Tattoo

My boyfriend and I went into the Lyons Den to get some piercings and Casey was rude and acted like he was on something shaking and seemed to be on something. There’s burrs that’s on the jewelry that are not supposed to be there. He was very unprofessional. Do your research before you go to the Lyons Den Tattoo Shop. Casey picks out the jewelry and not what you want to have placed in your body for a piercing. Really not satisfied with the work.

Reno was absolutely amazing! I lost my boyfriend a few weeks ago and wanted to get a tattoo with stuff that made me think of him. I knew what I wanted, but didn’t have it drawn out… he drew it out and showed me, it was PERFECT to me! It came out so much better than I could have imagined.

Would definitely recommend this place!! Reno was super cool and my tattoos look amazing! Will definitely be coming back.

Came in for a Friday the 13th tattoo (day not the movie) and they had tons of options to choose from. Funny convo with the artist and we each loved the work he did on our tattoos.

I had a great experience with Reno. He was very experienced and wasn’t afraid to voice his professional opinion, while he was also really fun to talk with. My tattoo looks SO GOOD! and it’s all very reasonably priced for quality work

Reno created a very comfortable atmosphere for my first tattoo. He was nice and easy to talk to. His line work and knowledge was very impressive. I highly recommend this place and will be back again. Pricing is also really good!

Reno did a great job on both my tattoos. I have 2 tattoos from him that he did back to back one month after the other. They turned out exactly how I wanted them too.He was very professional and up front about the concerns and his idea on how it could look better. Well he was right and I loved how he kept the conversation going because I was quite nervous about getting my back one as it was kinda big. He also got me in and out in a good and timely matter. I definitely recommend this place.

I’ve gotten tattoos in WA CA and TX. Christain at Lyon is by far my favorite ever. I get small tattoos but still usually have little issues with them. My first time here was fantastic. It’s been a couple weeks after and no issues. He has such a light touch, his attention to detail is incredible and he won’t stop until your tattoo is perfect. He has an eye for detail I’ve not seen before. He even tried to touch up one from a few weeks before that I got elsewhere because the artist had messed up a bit on it. How can I go anywhere else now for any tattoo. I will be back. See you for #10

This place is amazing. The knowledge and experience with these guys surpass all others. Went in with my family and all got special tattoos including a cover-up that the guys created and inked perfectly. We love this place and will be forever clients.

I absolutely LOVE Reno, hes the only artist Ill ever go to. His work is beautiful, he always makes my vision come to life. His work speaks for itself.Casey is the piercer and does very thorough work, he explains in great detail how to care for your piercings, and hes very gentle.I love these guys, not only are they badass at what they do, but theyre also great guys and super chill.

Casey is a hella good piercer, and Id highly recommend going here. The three piercings Id got there had definitely been less painful than when Id got similar piercings done elsewhere, and they are healing extremely well. If I end up wanting any more piercings, Im definitely coming back here.

I got my bridge pierced here and it was pierced with a curved bar…. i even asked if using a curved bar was okay for a bridge and the piercer insisted it was okay. i went to another piercing shop because it started swelling and they told me they needed to change it to a straight bar immediately so my piercing didn’t reject.

I myself have had 2 tattoos done by Reno and my hip dermals done by Casey, my husband has gotten one large piece and many of my friends and family have been tattooed/ pierced here. We have all been very happy leaving with our beautiful artwork. I recommended this shop to anyone who asks about a great artist in the McKinney area! He is clean, fast, and very skilled. 100% my favorite shop to go to!

Popped into the shop yesterday to get a quick little black banger on my arm and Reno exceeded any expectations. Quick work, clean lines, and the black ink is super bold. 10/10. Thanks Reno!!

Reno did an amazing job on me, it was my first tattoos and he was super patient and friendly with me and my friends, talked me through everything and made sure i had everything i needed before i left. i am definitely coming back any time i get another tattoo or piercing (: very reasonable pricing too!!

Reno is by far the best Ink Therapist there is!!! His skill level blew me away and I cant say enough about him as an artist and a person...Rock solid dude. If you want badass work from an old school artist this is your place and Reno is the guy.

I have gotten 3 tattoos from here so far. Me and my girlfriend always come in together and get tattoos at the same time. This is where you come if you want excellent line work. You will get a better tattoo from here than any of the other shops in the area and most likely for a cheaper price. Just don’t be dumb or too sensitive and you will get along with Reno just fine

Tattoo artists were super funny but very knowledgeable and helpful for what kind of tattoo I wanted. My bro and I did sibling tattoos. Which came out great. Reasonably priced.

I came into this shop needing some experienced help with a piercing. I was greeted by a gentlemen named Casey. Casey was more than able to answer my questions and help with my issue. Very professional, knowledgeable, and clean shop! Will be a returning customer for any of my future piercing needs. Highly recommended!! A+++.

Best shop ever! This place is clean, hip and they use the best hygienic practices! Rrno is awesome...Hes done 4 of my 9 tattoos...I wont give anyone else a chance now! Pricing is awesome!!! Reno could easily charge twice as much for the caliber of work...true artistry!

I got my tounge pierced about a month ago now. I had a great experience with Casey and my tounge healed up fine. I have no problems. I will be coming back for all my other piercings and I highly recommend this place.

Horrible experience getting a piercing here. Came in a few months ago and got my septum pierced which ended up okay, so I figured I would return here a month ago to get my nipples pierced for my birthday. They were pierced completely wrong, and not even through my nips at all. After they were done I commented how I thought they looked off and the piercer said I could leave them in and come back in a month to see how they healed. Being sort of out of it from the pain and shock I figured he knew what he was talking about. After more research I decided to seek the advice of a reputable piercer at another shop to get a second opinion. She said they were not positioned right, she would not have pierced me where this guy did, and the type of circular barbells are not recommended for initial piercings here as they are prone to more irritation than simple studs. Like I said this was a month ago and since this shop is so far from my home I figured I could get in touch with the owner to let him know how upset and unsatisfied I was with the work at his shop.. I have called numerous times, left my name and number, and NEVER heard back from anyone. The piercer said he would redo them, but in my mind if you already screwed up so badly on something like this, why in the world would I want to trust you with my body again? If the day of he would have mentioned they looked off or he should redo them, this would be a different story. But nope, he had nothing to say the day I left the shop of anything maybe being wrong. Seriously go somewhere else for piercings; its like this place took my money and ran.

Reno has touched up one tattoo and done a complete rose on my back. Both beautiful work. He is very patient and thorough. They will tattoo your mom!

Horrible attitude. I asked on their Facebook page a few months prior about a consult. When I stopped by, the artist had an attitude right out of the gate. When I showed him the tattoo I wanted, he criticized and complained about the tattoo placement. I thanked him for his time and walked out. I got my tattoo done elsewhere.

I started visiting Reno a about a year ago, o based off of a friends recommendation. I have had a couple of pieces done and about to go in for another. I have sent my wife, daughter, son and friends to him and wouldnt fo anywhere else in DFW.

Reno was awesome and did such a great job. I’ll definitely be coming back for future tattoos.

Horrible atmosphere!!I came here to get an impulsive tattoo and my boyfriend went with me. I asked for a little heart on my sternum. The artist had a horrible attitude and was being extremely disrespectful to me & my boyfriend. I’ll never go back & I hope this helps when you’re deciding to get a tattoo, the people who work here are horrible.

Very nice staff and clean place. Casy was really good with his peircing. Made sure u knew all the information to take care of it and very gentle unlike some piercing places. Will definitely come back.

AWFUL EXPIERIENCE Do not go to this place for piercings . I first went in and had my lip pierced and everything went smoothly besides the piercer having a bit of an attitude everything was fine. I came back about 6 weeks later to pierce the other side of my lip and the guy completely screwed it up it’s too far down and way to far inward . The guy immediately noticed his mistake and offered to re do it after it healed if I wanted to take it out. At this point I was lightheaded and felt nauseous due to the piercing so I decided to just go home . The more I look at it as I’m at home I start to see how badly uneven it is and decided to call the place to see if there’s anyway to get a refund , and he again overs to repierce it , what I really don’t understand is why would I want to go back to the same a** hole that messed it up in the first place . You don’t just go “oops let me try again “ when you mess up somebody’s piercing.

The last 4 tattoos Ive gotten were from this shop! Reno is a great artist and his work always comes out amazing.

Hurt like other world, but was totally worth the pain. Just got a snug, had very little room to work with since I do have smaller ears and with that being the case it did cause a little bump in the road throughout the process causing a little more pain than not, but I absolutely love the end product. Things really worked out!!

My wife and I have had a couple tattoos each done there. Great job, great prices. Definitely would recommend. We will go back for sure.

I got my Industrial piercing and it hurt for a little bit but then I got use to the pain aha but when Casey was giving me my piercing he was helping me prepare for the pain I was about to experience and he was polite and asked me if I was ready and he made me feel comfortable with him piercing my ear.It takes a lot for me to trust someone when it comes to my body but he knew what he was doing so yeah.I highly recommend coming here if you ever want to get any tattoos or piercings.

Pricey and do not communicate well my daughter went for her 2nd hole piercings but just unnecessarily got her 1 hole redone with a bigger gauge bc the guy at the front didnt communicate what exactly was to be done with the tech

I got a belly button piercing and came back for septum piercing. Casey was friendly and made conversation both times and I love how both of the piercings look.
