I loved this place! G money designed my tattoo. He was kind, honest, and superseded my expectations. Staff were very friendly as well. I definitely will come back! :)

I just got a tattoo done at Boss Frog by Jake and I can’t tell you how happy I am. Jake was very friendly, helpful and did incredible work. It was a 8 hour session but Jake made it seem like a couple hours by keeping me involved in the process. This was my first bigger tattoo and I am not very educated on tattoos and the process. I gave Jake an idea and he took it from there. The finished produced exceeded my expectations by a long shot. If you want a tattoo done go to Boss Frog and ask for Jake!

I genuinely had such a great experience going to Boss Frogs! Jake did EXACTLY what I wanted, and it felt like he genuinely cared about what I wanted done, even throughout the appointment he was very easy to start a conversation with and keeping my mind off of needles getting stabbed into my arm LOL! Im super grateful with the service and piece I got, and I will genuinely come back whenever i can. Everyone that i met there was just genuinely great ,but if youre wanting a sick anime tattoo i HIGHLY suggest you ask for Jake! Thank you again!!

I’ve gone to Jake 4-5 times in the past 6 months and each time he has gone above and beyond. I first walked in with just a rough idea and he took the time to bounce ideas back and forth with me until we landed on something. Each time I showed up for my appointment he had multiple designs that he had drawn up, which made me feel like I got paired with the right artist because of his willingness to add that next awesome piece he went out of his way to draw. Every time I went in for an appointment I was excited to see what he came up with. I plan on going back to him for all my future tattoos because of his reliability, patience, creativity, and just overall demeanor. If you want an artist that’s gonna go above and beyond and give you awesome work, Jake won’t disappoint!

We visited on Friday the 13 and it was a fun experience. The staff and artists were all very kind and hospitable and we got some fun, quality work done. We will be visiting again.

I had an appointment with Rafael and it went amazing!! I came in with a tattoo that needed to be covered up, and it turned out great.Super clean and Super friendly. I appreciated his suggestions on sizing and future recommendations for tattoos to go next to my tattoo. Can’t wait to come back!

My friend and I went to get finger tattoos. A simple 11:11 on the inside of the finger. We both understood and read the sign about no touch ups and some fading may happen. We both kept them covered and dry for over a week. Mine was all crooked and his total disappeared after 2 weeks. And I dont just mean faded, it totally disappeared. We spent $360 for two tiny tattoos and wont ever go back.

I want to start off with saying that I have finally found my tattoo home in Texas!! I came in for a random spur of the moment tattoo and they fit me in with Mario! He is the absolute BEST! He was so friendly, understanding, efficient and his work is super clean! On top of mine he let my friend jump in for a random tattoo as well which is AMAZING!!

Hector was super kind and made sure everything was how I wanted it. He did such a beautiful job on my tattoo, even better than my reference picture! I would definitely go back to see him!

Cool place and they were able to give me an appointment. However, some of their artist aren’t the best. I’ve been there for two different tattoos by two different artists and both times it was a terrible experience.First, one on my collar bone, was a simple card suit tattoo. He didn’t fill in/shade the insides properly and they’ve been fading to the point where i had to get a retouch a year after the appointment.The other one was a finger tattoo, which I’m aware fade quickly. One was black ink and the other was red ink. I kid you not, the red ink was gone within a month, there’s nothing left there. After three months I had to get the black ink redone because the ink started fading and spreading, and even the artist I went to said it was horrendous. It’s been well over a year since I went to get it retouched by another artist and ink it’s still there, unlike what bossfrog offered.If I remembered names of the artist, I’d definitely call them out for their terrible work.Moral of the story, save your money unless you have some personal relationship with the artist.

Chess is the best! She did mine, my husbands and my sister in laws tattoos and they all turned out fantastic. You can tell she really enjoys what she does and cares about her art and her clients. Her personality makes the whole experience that much better. Thanks Chess!

GMoney is the best! My wife got her first tattoo with him and he was so light handed! I thought she would chicken out but he was great. The artwork was amazing! Five star all the way

Boss frog is amazing and Jake does amazing work. I always said I would not get anymore tattoos. After seeing his work I have now gotten 3 in less the 2 months an plan on getting more. He is the only person I will go to from now on. His work is fantastic

I went in tonight as a walk-in. Marge(?) at the front desk was super sweet and helpful. Wait was about an hour but I expected that as a walk-in. Dusty came out, we discussed my idea and he took a few minutes to make a sketch. He was great. I love the tweaks he suggested. He was just about through with the outline when I starting feeling lightheaded. He was amazing! He made sure I was taken care of. Marge got me a sucker (for blood sugar) and some water. Once I felt better we continued. He was very patient. Definitely love these guys!

Geemoney was an amazing artist! He worked diligently and did some awesome line work! Im super excited about my tattoo!

Davis was our tattoo artist. He did excellent work. Mu wife and I each got our first tattoo here. They were very professional and really listened to what we wanted. The shop is very clean and welcoming Could not be happier.

Shady work. Rude Poor customer serviceLettering looks like a middle schoolers writing. The girl who answers the phone is very unprofessional. I would love to speak to the owner.I’m sure they have great tattoo artists but out of our 2 experiences with the the same person, the work is absolutely terrible. We are having to use a different tattoo shop to try to fix all of the errors. Complete waste of money.Proceed with caution

Best tattoo yet! Dave did a wonderful job on my Tiger tattoo. Its super realistic and more than I ever expected it to be. I was literally jumping up and down with excitement after it was complete! The shop is clean and relaxing, Stephanie at the front desk is incredibly sweet and helpful, and the other artists I met were awesome, always dropping by our room to check out the phenomenal work that Dave was doing. I was charged exactly what I was quoted and left a tip. Always leave a tip! I am SO impressed with Dave’s work, I will be coming back to complete my entire sleeve. Definitely come here for your work. You WONT be disappointed!!!!!!

Tattoo looks great but, I am completely disappointed with the fact that the image was ripped off from another tattoo artist. We gave our artist leeway to design the tattoo. Instead of designing us a tattoo - the design was found on google!

Came in on Tuesday evening as a walk in for our very first tattoos on my daughter’s 18th birthday. Our tattoo artist Jacob was absolutely amazing!! He made us feel super comfortable and just had the best personality. This will not be our last tattoo and we’ll definitely be using Jacob every time. Receptionist could be a bit more pleasant and welcoming but Jacob’s overall vibe made up for what the front desk was lacking.And we LOVE our tattoos!!!!!

Davis is the BEST!! He has done 5 of my tattoos now and he has exceeded my expectations with every one of them! The shop is extremely clean and has a good set up with private rooms. I’m a travel nurse but I always make sure to come home to Texas for my tattoos!

Update: Went back to Mercy today to get my second tattoo from her. Once again Im amazed at her skill and attitude! She is one of the best artists i have worked with over many years of getting tattoos.Mercy was awesome! Great line work and enjoyable to be around. Ill be going back for more work soon.

From the receptionist to the artist. As soon as you enter youre greeted by friendly staff and they promptly get you situated with waivers and get in contact with your artist.•5 stars for appearance. Although the building is neatly tucked away, the interior is spacious and cozy. Instead of the typical barbershop style of many tattoo shops, the owner went with private alcoves you see in salons. This style gives a modicum of privacy (which I used to wince and grimace without an audience present, like it would be elsewhere).•5 stars for the vibe. At this point I want to give a huge shout out to every artist I met, sorry I didnt catch any names, yall were respectful of every client that came in. Yall were respectful of my artists space and time. And yall were so enthusiastic about every piece yall did on people. Even the pieces that didnt look exciting to tattoo ( in my opinion) yall were rich with fervor to get that ink on people.The vibe was all there. I had Mercy do the coolest dragon on my arm!! They had the coolest vibe, extremely sweet and completely treasure to talk with! Goths, rock heads, art freaks, book worms and anyone In between will definitely feel comfortable with Mercy!! 10/10 will be coming back to them. I walked in and wanted something cool and I left with my favorite piece so far!!!

I just got my first tattoo here, and can I say what an amazing experience it was. I got my tattoo from the artist named Dusty. He was very accommodating, and made me feel totally comfortable in going through the whole process. He did a fantastic job, and was reasonably priced. I recommend this place to any and all tattoo enthusiasts, as well as any newcomers looking to get their first ink. Definitely will be back for more.

Rafael is the best! I found him on IG and have since booked 3 appointments with him in the last month. He has been very accommodating, comfortable to work with & has produced great work with each appointment. I‘ll keep seeing him until I have no available skin to work with. 10/10 would recommend.

I got my first tattoo yesterday with Sabrina and she was wonderful. It felt like she was really interested in my piece, and it came out exactly how I wanted it. All the staff were very friendly, and they went out of their way to accommodate me and other guests to ensure that we had the best experience. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get a tattoo and will definitely go back if/when I decide to get another tattoo in the future.

I went in as a walk in today to get a sunflower from Alicia! I have been wanting a sunflower for the longest time, but was waiting for the right artist to do it. She drew this up within minutes of me being there and did this absolutely gorgeous piece in less than an hour!! I am absolutely in love!! My fiancé and I will be coming back to get more from her!!! Jacob Lancaster was my artist and hes a cool dude. He did an amazing job and had no problem working on my little piece. Hes really kind and made me feel welcome. Ive had three tattoos done by Junior at Boss Frog and Ive had absolutely the best experience all three times. Their staff is professional, the facility is clean, and they are great with scheduling. I would most definitely recommend them. Ask for Junior! Hes awesome!

I got my first 2 tattoos about 3 weeks ago with Sabrina and I cannot recommend her more! She has been very friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the entire process. She helped me to finalize my designs and choose placements/sizes, and I could not be more pleased with the end result. Its also worth mentioning that both of my tattoos have very fine lines and small lettering, which she did perfectly with no errors. Very happy with my experience!

Sabrina was my artist and I found her through insta. She did SUCHH an incredible job- I was very picky with my design and she worked really hard to design me exactly what I wanted and was so patient with me and listened to all my thoughts/ideas.I loved that she tailored the bird to exactly what I wanted (not just traced!!) and did incredible shading. I even decided halfway through our appointment I wanted words and she added those in for me with no issue. Such a sweet artist and she takes pride in her work- I would HIGHLY highly recommend her work🥰

Loved Chess! Was my first time getting a tattoo and I was super nervous since I was getting two, but everyone, especially Chess, was super helpful and answered all my questions. Hoping to find a tattoo place to get matching tattoos in honor of our mother that we lost in September on her birthday Nov 19. After we called and google tattoo places everything was booked up in Frisco Texas until we went to one and they were about to close and they told us about the amazing Boss Frog team! Mando did this for me yesterday. I have researched different artists and this piece was very detailed. He delivered a masterpiece. Words cant even describe how much this piece means to me. The whole staff was very personable. Trish made sure I had everything I need. Her and Mando made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. If I could give more than 5 stars I would and yes I will be back!

Got my first tattoo here while vacationing in Dallas. Absolutely a great experience! The receptionist was outstanding and the entire staff I saw were polite and professional. Davis did my tattoo and my daughters. His work is beyond excellent. If I ever decide to get another tattoo, it will be at Boss Frog with Davis. If youre in the Dallas area and are getting a tattoo, you shouldnt go anywhere else.

I went in with my best friend to witness him get his first tattoo, and the tattoo artist Garret was exceptional!!! He had great charisma and was very good with comedy. He also seemed very perceptive. He provided a great experience for my friend and I, and I appreciated it. Wonderful experience!

Chess did an amazing job I love it will be back for both of my sleeves!

My friend and I went to this shop to get her a tattoo and we were denied service due to our task trained service animals. Under ADA federal law, service dogs are allowed in tattoo parlors due to the environment not being sterile. I work in healthcare and know the laws around sterility and know which environments are sterile enough that my service dog shouldn’t go into. The lady working the front desk argued that there are open wounds which is why they are not allowed; however the same thing could be said for hospitals and I have worked with my service dog in several hospital environments where he is allowed. Overall I would not recommend going due to how rude they were to both my friend and I. If you are disabled or have a service dog DO NOT COME HERE. We will not be going back even without our service dogs because they are our lifelines and required for our independence.

From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, everything was fantastic! James Buster is THE BEST! Hes an awesome artist and a phenomenal guy. He listened to what we wanted and thats exactly what we got. He was very attentive to it being perfect for us.He is a wonderful conversationalist and walked my daughter through her first tattoo. She was completely at ease and comfortable through the entire process.The shop is big and bright, with plenty of mirrors to check your new ink in. My wife and I have wanted some sentimental tattoos representing our kids and commitment to each other. We decided to go to Boss Frog for her birthday and had the pleasure of working with Chess tonight. We couldn’t have had a better artist or experience. It’s been a few weeks since I got my tattoo and it’s healing so beautifully. I want to thank Mario for not only doing such an amazing job but also creating a safe and judgement environment! We had nothing but vibes the whole time from one topic to the other.Needless to say I will be back soon to finish up this tattoo and to get more since I had such a great experience! Huge shoutout to Chess. I was very selective when it came to choosing a spot that could tackle what I was after, and Chess happily rose to the challenge across two sessions. First, I love the tattoo and will update this review once its done healing to show a picture. She did amazing linework and handled the multiple circles involved incredibly well, and has given me a permanent, beautiful, and vibrant reminder of our cosmos. Besides the quality of the tattoo, Chess has a great personality and vibe that felt more like we were hanging out than just getting a tattoo. She is professional, funny, and takes great care in making sure things are progressing the way you want them to. I also had the pleasure of Mercy hanging out in both sessions, a person who is equally great to vibe with and made me laugh more than once. I was not expecting such a great connection with the folks there, but incredibly grateful for that connection, and the experience itself. I will absolutely be back to get more work done with Chess, and feel honored to represent the passion in her art on my body.Thank you Chess, Mercy, and Boss Frog for the opportunity. Time and money well-spent, and a new memory to hang onto forever.

Just went in for a little ink therapy and got a 13 behind my ear. Didnt even feel it

Clean, respectable, friendly, knowledgeable. All the things you want from a tattoo studio and none of the stuff you dont. Alicia took care of me. She rocked out an hour on my leg and was able to complete way more work than I was expecting. I like the fact that they have separate rooms for the artists. Youre not left hanging out in the open if you want to get something tattooed that may or may not be in a sensitive/private area. Why more tattoo studio arent like this I will never understand. Too many studios will judge your work/design and then may or may not accept you as a client based on what they feel is appropriate. I personally think this is a stupid way to run a business which is why Boss Frog stands out above the rest for customer service, security and cleanliness. The only negative reviews Im seeing for this business are from bitter ex employees who were let go and probably for good reason. Just because you are an artist, does not give you the right to judge other people tattoos as beneath you. I personally ran into this from several artists in my search and it was frustrating. Hey, tattoo artists! Get over yourselves and stop being prima donnas? Boss frog refuses to let the artists dictate the work to the client. The customer should get what they want and the management at Boss Frog is doing their best to ensure thats exactly what happens.

Absolutely the best experience I’ve ever had. My tattoo is amazing thank u dusty for such amazing work. I absolutely love, love, love my tattoo. On top of that all of the other artists were extremely friendly as well! Trisha at the front is probably my favorite person I have met since moving to Texas lol. She made me feel extremely comfortable and made great conversation while I was waiting. I will be recommending this place to everyone looking to be tattooed!!!

My husband brought me here for a surprise tattoo. He said they do walk ins until 1030pm, but its palm size or smaller. I was so excited, I didnt know which tattoo I wanted to get bc I want a lot. So we got to sit in the waiting area until I picked one. I had Mercy do my tattoo. She was fun. I had asked her about some fine lines and she explained fine line is tricky and to go to someone who specializes in it. I totally respected her for being up front about her not doing fine lines and knowing what she is and isnt comfortable doing. Fine line is hard so im glad she didnt say ok just to get a sale and then mess it up. So praise her for her openness and honesty. She did a great job on my tat and I absolutely love it. She was fun to chat with during the process too. I could see me going back to her to get my other tattoos I want.

I went in today to get my first ink. Yesterday completed my 60th trip around the sun and I lost my better half 2 and 1/2 years ago suddenly. I decided to honor both my birthday and him by getting this tattoo. This is how he always signed his cards to me - Mario - took the time to talk to me. He took photos of the cards, made several mock ups and this was the one he felt was the best and so did I. He did the most amazing work and I so love it! Thank you Mario. I will send everyone who asks your way, and I will be back because I want at least two more……. Thank you again. Amazing work and my heart is overjoyed!

On our wedding anniversary my wife and I wanted to get tattoos, but the tattoo artist (mercy) were given as walk-ins was disrespectful, dismissive, and unfriendly. She gave off the feeling that she had way better things to be doing than helping us. I almost have a full sleeve done by several different artists and she was by far the worst I have ever met. I would not recommend.

I don’t have enough good things to say about Chess and my experience at Boss Frogs last night! The shop is clean, conveniently located and has good vibes. Chess is an absolute top notch artist and human. My husband and I went in on my birthday, and we felt comfortable, listened to, and cared for from the minute we walked in to the minute we walked out. It was obvious from the beginning that Chess cares about making her clients’ visions come to life. Our kids had twinkles in their eyes when they saw the pieces Chess had done to represent them and their personalities. Chess is genuine bad a** person.

Me and my sister got matching tattoos. Dwayne drew it out for us and we were done in about an hour and a half. Good service.

The artists here have plenty of experience under their belt and do an amazing job. The shop itself is clean and doesnt give off any weird vibes like most other tattoo parlors. And the prices are definitely reasonable. I have to say though, the most enjoyable part of visiting Boss Frog was talking to the receptionist. She was friendly, informative, and made me feel at ease. Ill definitely be coming back here and I hope they continue to do what theyre doing!

Had an appointment with Duane today. Watched him draw my piece up by hand and then set for 5 hours while he did the best work I’ve ever had done. All the staff was awesome and made sure I was good. Awesome shop with awesome people. Literally no negatives except I didn’t have it in myself to finish today. Can not wait to get it finished. Found my go to place and artist. Thank you Duane and big frog tattoo for the awesome service and experience. Will recommend to everyone.

I wanted to give this place a 5 star review but my only issue I had was this. My tat artist did an absolutely awesome job on my forearm tat. Super cool dude, nice conversation. Loved my tattoo.My issue is with the front desk girl with the curly hair. She decided it would be funny to jumpscare my tattoo artist to ask him what he wanted for dinner while he was actively tattooing me. I would like for the owner or manager to get in contact with me about this situation.

I don’t normally write reviews. But this was my first tattoo experience and everyone was so kind and helpful! I wanted a very small tattoo and I was a walk in on a Friday night. They were very reasonably priced and was very helpful throughout the process. I only waited an hour as a walk-in and the artist showed me the placement options and size that would be best. I was a bit nervous of pain, but the artist knew it was my first tattoo and helped ease any nerves. It turned out great! Thank you guys for a great experience :)

Terrible environment I was a guest artist here at this shop and I had a client come in with her mom and sister that wanted some work done well as I was working with the daughter her mother came in and the daughter told her mom that she really liked my work and that you should look at it and she did . She then stated she really liked my work over the other artist Davis there and wanted to book with me instead. I told her she would have to talk to the front desk people so she did then the owner came back and told me to pack my stuff and leave . I went to Mario at Boss Frogs and came away from there just blown away by his professionalism, his artistry, and his vision for the tattoo he gave me. It turned out to be more than I could have imagined. I left there speechless! I got mine on my foot and my mom got the same tattoo yesterday on her calf and he did a beautiful job again! We wanted matching tattoos but he made each unique in their own way. Thanks so much Mario for making our vision a reality!

Five stars for the tattoo. I took my daughter there for her first tattoo as a Christmas gift. The tattoo artist we originally scheduled with had to pass on helping us out because of a project he had to finish. We were lucky enough to get to work with Ruben who did an amazing job. My daughter loves her tattoo and loved having Ruben do it.If I could make a recommendation, if you go in for a consult and get a price, get that price in writing.There was some jockeying for position regarding the final price of the tattoo. Im all for people getting paid for their time, but at the same time, you have to honor your word. We were quoted a price, then when we went in to get the tattoo, we confirmed the price, but when the woman at the front desk went to cash us out, she seemed to be trying to get a higher price for the tattoo.The original tattoo artist, when questioned, said that he didnt remember, so we were in a situation where we were quoted the price, but then had to defend it before we left. It was a little uncomfortable. Nonetheless, we worked it out and got the tattoo at the original quote and overall are very happy with the tattoo and the great work Ruben did.

Dusty helped me get exactly the Tattoo I wanted. He really cared and took the time to talk about it with me, and give some good advice with his 17 years of experience that I would not have thought of. The place is very clean, very nice, and everyone there was very polite and professional. Boss Frog was recommended to me, and I would Highly Recommend them to anyone looking for a Tattoo! I will definitely be back!!!

Boss Frogs is awesome! I love the laid back vibe there and everyone Ive met there has been so friendly. Its cool when the other artists pop in to see what you are having done. Ive been going to Dusty for about 7 years and have a dozen tattoos by him. They are all special, unique and amazing. Dusty listens to why you want the tattoo and incorporates details to make it even more special. He has a great sense of humor and I like how he asks if Im still doing ok during those tough spots. I’ve gotten almost all my tattoos from Boss Frog except 2 that I got when I was younger. Mando recently did a lion piece half sleeve just a couple days ago. I have to say he’s a great artist. He never disappoints. He always making sure your comfortable as you could be seeing as your getting a tattoo done. Trisha the shop manager is awesome! She comes in through out making sure everyone is doing okay and asks if there’s anything she can get you. I have seen the other artists work as well and I promise you will not be disappointed in any work that you get done here! Best tattoo shop in Collin county!

Great place, cleaning is top!All artist look that they are very professionalDavis did my tattoo and I loved it, but when my boyfriend tried to get his he didn’t want to do it.He didn’t refused the service or anything but he never called us back or showed any interest about it. That’s very disappointing cause I even asked if he wasn’t comfortable or wasn’t his kind of style he could referred us with another team member which never happened.Anyway wish he could have another attitude.

I did an extensive search for a tattoo parlor for my first tattoo. Boss Frog had 5 star reviews so they immediately caught my attention. I visited once for information about the process and they were helpful and informative. After that I called and each time they we’re always helpful. In the end I was a walk-in and saw Rish. He was funny, attentive, and professional. He checked on me and really made sure I was okay with everything. The whole process from start to finish with Boss Frog was phenomenal. I will definitely be going back for more pieces in the near future.

Boss Frog Tattoos ROCKS! They have done two of my tats so far. Artists are great. Make you feel at ease and very professional! Helped me with the design both times and never pressured me to get something that I wasnt conformable with. My second tat was a cover up that turned out brilliant. The entire staff at Boss Frog has been great to work with. The desk staff in helping schedule my appointments and explaining everything to me as a new client. I cant say enough great things about Buster. He worked with me to take my basic idea and turn it into what is going to be an amazing tattoo. Ill post pics once its finished.

I brought my brother as a walk-ins to get sibling tattoos and we had a great experience! The staff was professional and the shop was clean. This place absolutely is the worst place to get a job. Do not work for these people. They will hire and fire you in an instance all because they didnt agree with a clients opinion of artwork, because a client liked another tattoo artists work that worked there more than the one you was trying to send them to! So you fired your own tattoo artist whose work is exceptional. Because of that. WOW! Total Unprofessionalism at its finest.

After reading the good reviews my daughter and I went in to get small wrist tattoos. She called ahead of time and the girl at the front desk was very sweet and told us to come on in they could do it since it was a small tattoo. We drove out there and waited for the guy who she directed us to talk to. He then came over asked us what we were wanting and we told him. He then informed us he was going to go eat and we would have to wait 45 minutes. We would not have driven over had we any idea, very unprofessional.

I came in on Saturday right when they opened. Everyone at the desk was very friendly and accommodating. I did a consultation with Rish. He drew something up in about thirty minutes and started tattooing. I love the design he drew up and I’m even happier with my finished tattoo. I’ll definitely be back to finish up my sleeve. I got my first tattoo done by Dexter last night and Ill definitely be coming back to get more done by him!! He got started right away, hand wrote all the letters, and was super nice and professional! Very clean and professional environment, fair pricing, and everyone is really nice! They make you feel right at home! Love this place! Everyone in the shop was very nice and welcoming. They are easy to talk to and make it feel like you have known them forever. I like how the artists would stop by each others station to look at each other’s work and to cheer them on. I feel like they cared for me as a person, as opposed to some shops that only see you nothing more than a paycheck.

Dusty has done most of my sleeve and I have absolutely nothing but respect for his work. I gave him what style I was looking for and ideas I had. If an idea you have won’t work or needs to be altered he will tell you why and how to make it work instead of just giving you a sub standard tattoo. His work is exceptional and any future work I want done he will be my go to.

Great experience! I had a coverup done by Ronzy and he was awesome! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I am thrilled with how my tattoo came out, I’ve received lots of compliments already and it’s healing beautifully.

The lady at the front was nice, they made everything super easy, not complicated. The only thing i didnt like was that the dude that did the tattoo was lowkey mean and unfriendly maybe he had a bad day. Wish the best for him i love my tattoo lol. Just got my nipples pierced by theyre amazingly cool and sweet piercer Meranda. My piercings look great. She explained everything that was going to happen. One of the few piercers that actually made me completely comfortable. Definitely recommend her to anyone.

C toon is one of the best artist I have seen in a long time His work is true art work ! not cut and tattoo and believe me I have a few of those tattoosI enjoy his professionalism and cleanliness it’s the first time my arm wasn’t wrapped with food wrap. Buster is my tattoo artist and I am very pleased with his work ethic and artistry. I booked him a month out to do a coverup for me which we will break up into 2 sessions. I am over the moon happy about how my first session has gone. My tattoo is amazing and I officially can say I now have a tattoo guy because I wont be using anyone else but Buster going foward.

I had some work done by Dexter yesterday. I have some big tribal designs that hes going to completely rework for me. I showed him some photos of some ideas of what I was looking for. Boy, he did not disappoint!He let me know that he didnt have a lot of experience with what I wanted done. I just told him lets experiment! And off he went.First, let me say, that when he put the needle to the skin, I literally asked him, Is that typically how hard you push down? Because I barely felt it at all!! He has great technique and I knew it was going to turn out great! It turned out way better than we both anticipated! LOLI have a half sleeve on left arm, full sleeve on right. Its a lot of ink. Lets just say that me and Dex will be becoming good friends!Go see him! 5 stars!!

Dusty did my tattoo. Got a dream catcher on my thigh I love it. But they are overpriced. I was told $150 a hour and it took about an hour but cost me $400. There are great artist out there that arent so high. But got right in over here. No wait.

I came in with a general idea of what I wanted, had the key requirements down but couldnt put them together. I was lucky and got Rish as my artist. He took my poorly explained idea and came back with a design that was truly stunning. It was love at first sight. Not only was he professional and quickly able to put me at ease but he was intuitive as well. Seeming to know when I wanted to chat and when I wanted to just lay there and feel the needle. The color work blew me away with how seamlessly it blended into the next color. With a steady hand, he gave me a work of art. Couldnt give him a higher recommendation if I tried!

Dusty is a very good artist but unfortunately hes booked two weeks out. No other tattoo artist will complete work that he started. As stated Dusty is the man! Buuuttt he became ill and was out for more than a month and my tattoo was not completed and as stated no other artist will complete the tat... Therefore I had to go on vacation to Mexico with a half finished tattoo that remain covered.

The shop always appears to be clean and the front desk employees are friendly and helpful. I have to give Mario big thanks for my last Tattoo. He is an awesome person and even better artist.

Got my first tattoo here recently, a small black and grey cross on my wrist, healed up nicely. Came in to see Mando, he was very professional. Took a look at my reference images, was able to give me a price and an appt. time right there. I made him redraw it 3 or 4 times, he had no problem and was open when talking about design choices. Ill sadly be leaving McKinney soon for college, but if Im ever back in the area and feel the ink itch, Ill be going to Boss Frog.

Best artist ever. I have had three tattoos done and two of them were cover ups. You can’t even see the original tattoos. Front desk is very nice and they are up front with what you want and try to tweak it so it’s even better than what you had in mind. I will be defiantly getting more from this place!!

Loved this place Rish was AMAZING!! Such a nice guy and it was super late but that did not stop his superb customer service!!! He was so thorough, kind, compassionate and funny! Myself and two of my friends went to see him and after each one of us he cleaned up and acted like we were his only customer. He listened to our needs and really made our visions comes to life. I will be going back to see Rish! The front desk girl was so amazing as well what a nice welcoming place. Love love love it!!!

White i talked to seem like he didnt even want my business i wanted new tatt but I also needed touch ups for older tatt that wasnt done right . Gave me high price just to get rid of me . Its all good I found other place that did multiple tatts for me

Yes I finally got my Tattoo! But first, a bit of my background - Im an islander. Grew up in the island of Guam and lived in Hawaii and San Diego (close to the ocean). I miss the ocean. So I finally decided to get a Polynesian tat to remind me of home. But living in Texas, who would think that I would find a great tattoo artist who could do Polynesian/Maori designs - well, Junior at Boss Frog Tattoo does and he is awesome. His wall is filled with designs he has done and his Instagram displays his talent and skill as an artist, plus just a great guy to chat and hang out with while you are getting your tattoo!!! Boss Frog is a great place and as some other reviewers have mentioned just a very clean and friendly place. While I was getting my tattoo other artists would come by and chat and it was great talking to Trish at the front desk (I think thats her name) really friendly and who would have thought she knew someone from Guam :-). Thanks for a great experience and much Mahalo to Junior!

Dexter did the most amazing lotus flower I have ever seen. I walked in with one design and he totally turned it around into something a million times better. For someone that hates needles and pain, he was so good and gentle that I actually fell asleep during some of it. Mostly painless! Im completely obsessed with my new tattoo. Planning on going back for my best friends yay and my mom is even thinking about going to Dexter. Great pricing too!

Ive been here twice and I wish I would have gone for my first 2 tattoos! The owner is so nice and when I went on Friday the 13th the owner over heard me saying it was going to cover a scar, so he offered to pay to have it colored in! So I paid $20 for a tattoo that should have cost like $120. Best tattoo place EVER!!!!

Paid my deposit, then ZERO work on my design after over 2 months. Couldnt even get an update during the 2 months. They refuse to give my deposit back. Actually they told me to get the deposit back from the artist they fired. The artist said to get deposit back from the shop.Too bad tattoo artists are too uneducated to understand that this isnt really about my little deposit $. There is a reason people go to Dallas to get inked.

Best tattoo shop Ive ever been to! Chris Kennedy did my tattoos and did a killer job on both them! Armando Aguilar and Dexter didy wifes tattoos and both of them did a sweet job as well. Would rate this place 10 out of 10 if I could but 5 stars is the best so 5 stars it is!

Went in to get a tattoo, I wanted to work on my sleeve so i consulted with one of the artist. I told him i would let him freestyle flowers and leafs on my arm, he agreed for $200. Went in to “sketch” his design, came back 10 minutes later with a printed rose. I told him I was actually wanting to get more leaves as well, he got bothered by my suggestion because he claimed the sketch had some. It was not what I wanted and it was most definitely not a freestyle. He did not even try to work with me and change it up, horrible customer service.

I hardly ever write reviews. Came in as a walk in and asked for a couple of roses behind my ear and the tattoo artist said the design was to small and pointed out an even smaller rose. He was rude and said are you listening in a rude tone. One of the worst tattoo artists i have met. I have 5 tattoos and 20 piercings. And work at a tattoo/piercing shop. So maybe you should listen to your customer. My normal tattoo artist had to cancel on me and shes amazing and i was ready to get it done. She had no problem drawing it up for me and was going to charge me 80. But this guy wanted 150 for something i didnt want. He acted like he didnt want to do it. Take your business else where and find someone who cares about there customers. I sure will. I found someone who did it no problem. And said that was dumb and people get those kind of tattooos behind the ear all the time. Do yourself a favor and dont come here. I was charged 120 and it was something i wanted. Please dont waste your time here

Horrible customer service and horrible staff. Drove 30 mins after calling about piercings not knowing that they strictly do tattoos. Lady at the front desk told me that I could come in. I get there and the lady tells me that the piercer will be in in 30 mins. i sit down and wait for 25 of those minutes just for this man to walk over to me and ask me what i want. I said i wanted my daith pierced and he looked at me and said, and i quote, “this. place. doesn’t. do. piercings.” with hella attitude. so disrespectful after I was told completely different. as i’m leaving the lady then tells me that she misheard me after straight up telling me that the piercer would be in soon, knowing that they literally don’t do piercings at all. wasted my time and my gas.

The artist was amazing, my line work was straight and I felt super comfortable for my first tattoo. The guy was super chill and cool to talk with.

My husband and I just saw Mando last night for another session on his neck. We have been tattooed everywhere from Austin to Dallas and Boss Frog is definitely one of the best shops! We drive over an hour to come see these guys, but we wouldnt go anywhere else..... Looking forward to our next appointment!

Amazing place, had gone in for a estimate and they gave me a super inexpensive option. I made an appointment and walked right in. I had to wait quite a long time until they noticed I was there for a specific person but just a little mistake. Tattoo turned out great and then offered a free touch up. USE THIS PLACE

Went in at the beginning of June to talk to someone about a tattoo. Tattoo artist, Davis, said he could do it and told me to text him pictures and wed set up a time. Its been almost 2 months and he has yet to send me a design or set up an appointment. Extremely unprofessional behavior and terrible customer service. Ill be going elsewhere for my tattoo and anyone reading this should too.

I dropped by Boss Frog tonight just to get an idea of what they could do for a tattoo that was completely messed up by another local tatt artist, to see if they could either fix or repierce my ears where the old piercings were stretched and old looking, and to price a cartilage piercing.I first spoke with Mondo about my tattoo. He could have told me to sit in his chair and hed fix it. To my surprise, he gave me advice that didnt bring him any cash. I really felt like he wanted what would be best for me.Then, there was Justin. He talked to me about my old piercings and how to make new piercings work best. (I have two other piercings in one ear, and one more in the other). I couldnt believe how much time and attention both of these guys gave me. Justin ended up giving me a cartilage piercing, and Ill go back later for the *replacement* piercings at another date. ....I dont know...I am just so impressed with the customer service. Everybody was so nice. I love the atmosphere and Im what you might consider a somewhat cool old lady. LOLIll be back for sure. And Justin will work on my ears. Mondo will work on my tattoo.Thank you Boss Frog. Thanks Leo Hunt for recommending them.

I cant remember my guys name, but not only did he give me a perfect spine ratio but he fixed the cross that was already on the back of my neck and made it straight and beautiful. It didnt even hurt!! First time in a long time I tried a new tattoo shop and the receptionist and Dusty my artist were too kind! Both gave some great advice and I left extremely satisfied with his work! I highly recommend this place and Dusty. 😉

Stopped in last night for a small wrist tattoo. The girl behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. Davis, my artist, was chill and professional. Thank you for making this happen for me!

Garrett was an amazing dude, got a small intricate design on my arm and he did it flawlessly. Scheduled me a date and got me in and out in no time.

Paid the $100 deposit for an appointment with Rish. Something happened to his eye and he said we’d have to reschedule then when I went in to get my deposit back they said I can’t. I took time off of work for that appointment and couldn’t take another day off so I lost $100 and pretty much couldn’t do anything about it lolWon’t be returning to boss frog

Alicia was the sweetest and was so accommodating. Got my elbow tattooed and for such a tender spot Alicia made it bearable. 10/10 recommend

My brother and I were tattooed by Davis. He went above and beyond. My concept came to life when we collaborated on it. My brother got a soccer ball and it’s lines are crips, details are so intricate. He was friendly and professional. Will tell all my friends.

I will only go here for my tattoos. I went in twice now with just an idea and walked out with amazing ink! From start to finish I was treated with kindness and matched up with an artist who would bring my ideas to skin. I cant wait to go back for more!

Bailey Kay did my cousins tattoo last night and it was amazing. Perfectly symmetrical. As soon as I saw her work on my cousin, I had to make an appointment with her! Great artist.

Tattoo artist broke his needle while doing my tattoo. (He said hes never had that happen before) It smudged the word and he didnt even offer to clean it up. He didnt recommend adding something around the word or anything...now it just looks blurred. He also used freestyle font, which I liked on paper, but the lines are not straight and when he crossed the t the line went into my chest area that shows 24/7. Not happy at all but what do you do when you basically sign the waiver that states you can basically do nothing, if we fup your tattoo........... Well, thanks! 😣

Amazing experience with Boss Frog! They treat people with respect and the work is more than words can describe. Ive had one pice done at Boss Frog by Mondo so far. I will be back! If you have even considered scar modification with tattoos you MUST go to Boss Frog! They get it!

The entire experience I had here was the most unprofessional Ive ever had in a shop. I got charged way too much for a tiny name tattoo and ittook tomb raider like 3 hours to finish because she kept taking breaks and went off talking to other people instead of focusing on her paying client. Would not recommend

I was very dissatisfied with the professional behavior of one of the shops artist. In response to my dissatisfaction the owner Mel personally contacted me to apologize. Furthermore, Mel went above and beyond to resolve the situation to the extent that I said, Mel you dont have to do all of that and he said, I want to personally make sure this is taken care of. Mel is a stand up guy and very sincere about his customers satisfaction. Boss Frog is a new business and like any new business you have hiccups, but when management responds like Mel does those hiccups are just opportunities to learn how to better serve your customers.

Went here for the first time and the place was really friendly and professional. Davis did my tattoo piece, and he did a marvelous job. Would definitely go back for my next tattoo.

Me, my mom and 2 sisters went in today. Dexter and Vance are amazing artists! This was 5th tat and it by far the best quality (lines and coloration). Definitely an A+ all the way around.

The shop was clean and super nice however the artist who was going to do the tattoo was rather rude and not helpful at all. When he quoted us the price, he was way over charging for the fact it was a very simple tattoo (only 3 words in a simple font). Personally would not recommend this shop.

. Not sure why you say your open till midnight, turned away 11:40 for a SIMPLE tattoo, didn’t even ask us to come back another day, seemed like we “bothered” you showing up. So unprofessional!!! Deff not finishing my sleeve here! Thanks for the warning!!!
