I came in on July 19th to get my first ever tattoo and I couldnt be more happy with it. Angel did a wonderful job. He made me feel very comfortable and we all laughed and chatted while he was tattooing me. The tattoo he created incorporated elements I liked from the reference images I showed him. The place was very clean and welcoming. I had no concerns about sterility as he opened the needle in front of me and thoroughly sterilized the environment before he started. If I am back in Idaho, I would love to come back and get another tattoo. Would totally recommend.

Lauryn is amazing! She is easy to talk to and helps me brainstorm on ideas(I’m very indecisive), she checks in with me throughout the tattoo to make sure I’m ok, and pays close attention to detail. She is very talented, versatile in her abilities, and kind. I’ve gotten all of my tattoos with her and will continue to book with her. The shop has a fun, clean environment with good music. Everyone is friendly and they make it very welcoming. I highly recommend this shop as everyone there is extremely gifted.

I wont be **too nice** but I absolutely love the work Ive gotten done here. Started with a flash tattoo, now I have a whole piece out of it. Renee (artist) had helped me pick out the flash art, then had designed this wonderful tattoo to finish it. Amazing atmosphere & people. Struggling with anxiety, everyone in the shops makes you feel comfortable; very easy going (as much as you can be for a tattoo shop lol) but CAMERON is a god! @camerontat2 on instagram his work is IMPECCABLE, I am obsessed with every piece he’s done.My best friend and I see him regularly and he is just the sweetest; I’m a bit lower on the pain tolerance side & he is always just so good at what he does. He’s really good at understanding your POV & ensuring it’s exactly what you want- even in instances with flash tattoos.& Tank is amazing at what he does. Have been using this place since i got my nose pierced and now all of my tattoos. Angel has done two out of three of my tattoos so far and he is awesome. Always makes you feel comfortable and very communicative on what is happening. I feel terrible but i cannot remember his name to save my life but the guy with the glasses is also amazing very nice and very good at keeping conversation with you so it isn’t awkward. And very understanding if you need to take a break. Overall my experience here has always been a good one. Love this place and the people working there would definitely recommend if you’re getting your first piercing or tattoo!!

My first tattoos, got butterflies to cover up SH scares and a matching tattoo with my mom. Adam was absolutely amazing and took his time and made sure it was perfect. Definitely recommend this shop to anyone

Got the colored elephant as my first tattoo with Jason Corona and he was super nice and made sure I was good with the design before starting to tattoo. He’s really good at shading and color work. My second tattoo was line work and he did some super straight lines; I was super happy. Both my husband and I got matching tattoos that look amazing. If you’re gonna get a tattoo I recommend Jason. He’s the best and he can do a variety of tattoos.

I contacted Lauryn about wanting a small quote in script on my forearm. Within 24 hours of contacting her, I was getting the tattoo! I’m amazed at her kindness and willingness to put me on her schedule so quickly. Super happy with how it turned out!

Went in on friday, Zach talked to me about what I was wanting and gave me the prices of the tattoo ideas I wanted and had. He was great and took good care of me and did my piece today. Loved how it came out and even the talk of adding some more to it was great. Hes officially my go to guy now.

Got a couple flash tattoos from this shop and I couldnt be happier with the price and the work. This shop definitely deserves a shout out. Me and my girl came in right before close unknowingly, and they didnt even mention that they closed like 2 minutes after we came in the door. They did a great job on our tattoos, both times me and my girl went in. I cant thank them enough for the kindness and professional manner they went about each appointment with. For under 100$ these are the best tattoos you can get. They are worth twice if not more than that.

Had a great experience getting multiple ear piercings! I had been working up the courage for months because I’m not great with needles. I walked in and they were super nice and Andrew (I think his name was) was super kind and patient with me. It was a great experience. Would definitely go back.

I walked in to see if there was any availability and T.J. Was able to assist me. He was very pleasant and honest about what I wanted and the placement he suggested I try another spot and I’m super happy he did. He was able to take a couple pictures and make a great design! I have been to this business 4 times in the last month. First time I received an apprentice tattoo and it looked great. Then I went to the shop on Overland and met Cameron Smith. Hes an incredibly talented tattoo artist. Finding a tattoo artist that you can trust and is talented is a hard thing to do. You research and talk to people. This shop was mentioned to me by a co-worker and I am grateful it was. Whenever someone asks me where I got the cool tattoo I tell them Lifestyle and ask for Cameron. Hes the man!

I decided to get a tattoo after 11 years of getting my first one. I wanted something for my kids. I decided with their birth flowers! I found lifestyle thru some recommendations from a FB group and looked thru their artists and came across Alyx Care! She got me in super quick and was so nice! She did an amazing job. Can’t wait to get my next one! Highly recommend!

About two weeks ago a friend and I decided to get spur of the moment piercings, we both got three. We just happened into lifestyle tattoo in meridian after calling and asking if they accept walk ins and if their piercer was in. The piercer, Andrew, made the experience very fun and enjoyable. He was super easygoing and kept good conversation and jokes the whole time we were there making us feel very comfortable and welcome. My friend was a bit nervous about her piercings and he reassured her and made her comfortable throughout the entire piercing process. The shop was clean and everyone was super friendly and inviting from the initial phone call to when we actually arrived at the shop. Andrew was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He eased any concerns we had and reassured us through the whole process. Afterwards he did an excellent job explaining aftercare and making sure we knew what to do to take the best care possible of our new piercings. His excellent costumer service didn’t end there. Both my friend and I followed his Instagram and he has been fast and kind when answering any questions and easing any worries we have. I ended up needing a longer bar for my tongue piercing and he had me come back into the shop and replaced the ring with no additional charge. I’ve had several piercings in my life and have never had as good of an experience as I had at lifestyle. I will 100% be back!

Lifestyle tattoo just happens to be close to my house. My wife and I had decided to get tattoos and feel very lucky we just stopped by one day and happened upon Mike Beard. Niether of us had tattoos previously. He just completed my second tattoo and my wife has 3 all done by him. He does a great job of helping to make decisions about the tattoo, i.e. design, placement and orientation. He is professional and helpful. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Love this place! I always go to see Lauryn and she never disappoints! I always leave super happy and loving my tattoos! She always helps me find the right size and helps me find the best placement for things. Shes super friendly and chill. She’s a great artist and it’s a great environment. It was a fun little local tattoo shop that had most common tattoos that people like to get. There were two gals on the benches when I went in and they seem to be very happy with the tattoos they had gotten on their backs. I went in simply to get one of my ears repierced since the hole had closed up from not wearing earrings in it for a long time. The 2 gentleman that were there were friendly enough in a tattoo parlor sort of way. The gentleman who did the piercings was not there at the time I went in but they called him and he came into work since he lived close. I really appreciated that since I didnt have any more time to come back. All in all it was a very nice visit and the type of experience that I wanted to have. Im sure they dont see many people as old as I am coming in to get tattoos but they took it well.

I recently went back in to have Adam add on to a small tattoo on my chest that I had him do a few weeks prior. Made an appointment in advance and showed up to find Adam forgot about the appointment and was working with another client when I got there.At first, Adam said I have a co-worker that can finish this for you. He ran to the gas station and will be back. Once Zack, the co-worker got back he came over and asked what I was wanting a 6 letter name and a very small daffodil on my collar bone area. Zack, who I was told has 20 plus years of experience seemed totally put out that this was the tattoo I was wanting and even said to Adam, you said she want two letters and you could tell he didn’t even want to do it. I then asked if I should reschedule because at this point it felt really awkward and Zack appeared annoyed. Zack and Adam both talking over one another said that they would get my tattoo done and they would “hammer it out”. I decided to leave and not have my chest hammered out as this was a fine line dainty tattoo that shouldn’t have caused this kind of a reaction. I will never go back.The original tattoo I got was another fine line six letter name. It did turn out ok. The only thing I wish was a little better is that one of the letters isn’t in line with the others. It is a Y and the bottom of the Y is short, I’ll likely have someone else finish the tattoo and correct the letter Y.All in all, if you are walk in you might have a good experience. I wouldn’t suggest making an appointment with Adam or Zack for that matter, as you likely wouldn’t have the best experience.

I love lifestyle tattoo, wouldnt go to any other shop! Cameron has done several of my tattoos, he has a great vibe and is serious about his art! He did a stunning piece on my shoulder over a year ago, it healed beautifully.

They made it super easy despite it being my first time! Super chill dudes, the guy tattooing me was very straightforward and effective with the communication. My friends were joking that I dont shower and he agreed that I was the cleanest of all of us, so he deserves success in his life. :D

Absolutely worth every penny. Had a pretty tough and dark cover up and Jason Corona knocked that out of the park every artist there this very talented and skilled definitely some of the best work in the treasure valley

So my boyfriend left a review about my small neck tattoo and I will be honest, at first I didn’t want him to because I planned on getting it covered anyway but after reading the businesses response I figured I’d just leave one of my own. If you look at the letter “F” there’s a small blotch that is very noticeable in person which makes the tattoo look pretty weird and doesn’t match to the font that was picked out. I remember getting home and seeing a line of open skin on that very part and I just figured it was normal and as time went on the small blotch on the “F” appeared. Every one that has seen the tattoo has always said something negative about the “F” which doesn’t make me feel good and is why I’m getting it covered. Just take the critism and move on like an adult, that’s what makes you better artists. Defending your shop every time someone leaves a bad review doesn’t make a good look. Other than that, I left a 3-star review just because I’ve had a good experience with another artist that was at the other location. His line work was beautiful and I’m absolutely in love with my ink from him. Take care :)

Dude if you want a tat or piercing please see these guys for a consult!! The piercer here has almost/over 20 years piercing experience. First piercing ever and it took maybe 20 seconds and I barely felt anything!! Also love the $50 tat flash sale!!

Cameron is amazing! He did my first tattoo and I’m about to get another by him in a few weeks. He is honestly the only artist I will probably ever go to because of his amazing quality, the cleanliness of the shop, and because he’s a great conversationalist. My (grown) kids and I decided on a whim we wanted to get tattoos. Lifestyle got all three of us in as walk ins. We were very pleased with the entire experience. Zach and Tank were amazing! Friendly, hilarious, down to earth. The shop was clean and bright, everyone was upbeat and welcoming. Fair-priced and great work. Will definitely be back!

This is the most incredible collection of artists in the valley. I always get exactly what I am asking for. I struggled for a very long time to decide on a tattoo to cover some past pain. I talked with Brandon for a little bit about why I wanted to cover my scar and he created the most beautiful phoenix on the spot. I can not help but give him credit for helping me move on to a higher level of healing. You should definitely give them a try!

You MUST go see Tank at the garden city location. He does outstanding work and if you give him an idea he works his magic. I havent seen any of my tattoo designs until the day of and I have never been disappointed. I trust him to come up with a crazy awesome design each time off of a few random ideas I give him. Hes a great person, nice and is easy to talk to. Out of all the tattoos Ive had his have by far healed the best and stay looking good. Cant wait to have mylast 2 sessions to finish my sleeve. Adam Saxon, an apprentice, did a couple of the most amazing tattoos I’ve ever seen for my daughters first tattoos. He was very professional and really cared about the outcome. We will definitely be back!

Martin did very good work, but the ink did not hold true to color. Now I have pink roses and a lot of faded leaves. The shading is also gone. It doesnt look like the picture at all.

Zach is an amazing artist. He is meticulous in his design work and cleanliness and has worked with me on pricing, design and placement for each tattoo I have received. Every tattoo he has given me tells a beautiful story, he makes the art come alive with his magic. I decided to check out lifestyle tattoos for my first tattoo. When I walked in I was immediately greeted. Everyone was very kind and respectful. I met with Jason Corona and gave him my idea, he brought what I envisioned to life!! He does beautiful shading and his lines are super clean. Before I met mike beard I had a hard time with finding an artists who’s works I just absolutely loved. One of my friends shared one of his pieces and I literally fell in love and just had to get it!! This friend highly recommended him and spoke so highly of him so I came and met with him and he was great! He really made sure my experience was as comfortable as could be and made sure I was ok throughout the whole process. I love my tattoo I got from him so much and plan on coming back to him for more in the future!!! Amazing artist, amazing side table manners, and just all around a really great artist. I slept him choose the colors and I’m extremely pleased with the finished product!! I highly recommended him to everyone!!!

Got my first tattoo with Jasmine at the garden city location. The design was nice but she said more than once she would do a free touch up and to send her pictures to see how it was healing. Part of the reason I tipped her more than 25% was because of this! But when I texted her with pictures multiple times she never responded. And she was still posting on her tattoo instagram account the whole time. My tattoo clearly needs a touch up and she fell back on her promise and never cared to even respond, so I am pretty disappointed with the service.

I dont even have enough words to express how ecstatic I am with the results of my half sleeve cover up I just received from Brandon Smith yesterday! I knew he was the one to make it impeccable and it was worth the wait! I am now scheduling to finish with a 3/4 to full sleeve to complete it up soon! I will never go anywhere else! They even got my daughter in as a walk-in last minute for her very first tattoos by Brandons son Cameron! She is also planning her next one! The place is clean, comfortable, and everyone that works there is beyond friendly. If you want an amazing and quality tattoo, this is the place!

So disappointed with their customer service this time around. Me and my family has come to this place for the last 3 years. Never had a problem. I’ve recommended family and friends there. First of all my son set up an appointment with Cameron. I took my son to his appointment and Cameron forgot and scheduled someone else. He checked his messages said it was his bad and had to rescheduled my son. My son took time off work for that. Second time , we showed up , Cameron said he messaged my other son that he canceled his appointment because he didn’t want to go back and forth to make the tattoo how he wanted it. I get that part but Cameron should have messaged my son directly. He wasted our time. Poor communication! We will never go there again.

I went in to originally get a tattoo on my hand (with a quote) and the minute Stephanie put it on my hand I wasn’t so sure of the tattoo. Then she gave me an idea to put it somewhere else and I walked out of there with a smile ear to ear! Thank you so much Stephanie! I will be back in the future!

We took our seven year old daughter to get her ears pierced. Derrick was the piercer and he was so great with her! We were taken great care of and it was such a positive experience. I decided to go to Lifestyle Tattoos for my first piece and I’m very happy with how it turned out! Cameron did an amazing job and he uses his equipment very gently on your skin so it doesn’t hurt nearly as bad as most places. He’s been working there for nearly a year I believe yet his work looks as if it were done by someone who has had decades to practice. The store is extremely clean and they open everything in front of you to show that nothing is reused. I would HIGHLY recommend that you get your tattoos done here (and ask for Cameron).

If I could give Mike Beard a ten star, I would. Before him, I always found it extremely hard to find the right person to tattoo me. Most shops and people Ive met have lacked a lot of creativity and arent personable. They want you in and out of the shop as quickly as possible. I first heard of Mike from my friend who goes to Lifestyle Tattoo frequently First, thing I noticed walking in the shop was how friendly and upfront Mike is. Ive gotten three tattoos from Mike so far, with more in the works.(Because hes that great)My latest tattoo is of Poseidon and words can not explain how amazing it turned out. After five and a half hours later, I came out with the most incredible tattoo. Poseidon turned out exactly how I imagined him; chiseled face, fierce, and extremely detailed. Everything I needed for an outstanding tattoo. It is by far my most favorite tattoo Ive gotten. It definitely makes me feel like a bad@$$ with it on my arm. The tattooing process was so easy and enjoyable. I am 100% so glad I went with Mike. I highly recommend him, if you want a killer tattoo.

If you are extremely skeptical about who you allow to tattoo you, like I was. This place is the perfect suit for quality artist who are also way personable. My friend & I traveled to Boise on a whim. Lifestyle came highly recommended from a friend and it was amazing! The staff was super friendly and the work was amazing. They were able to give us a total of four tattoos as walk-in appointments in two hours. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great tattoo experience!

Lifestyle tattoos gets 5 stars from me! I had the opportunity to have work done by Mike Beard. This guy is a true artist! The Boise area is lucky to have this guy working here. I walked in and told mike what I wanted. Set the appointment and had the work done the next day. He had everything drawn up, then put on his computer digitally with different options. I have to say I was more then impressed. Mike even stayed late, past the time they close down shop to make sure he got my half sleeve done. After 7 hours, I’m an externally happy customer! You will not be disappointed if you go to lifestyle tattoos for your work. This was the cleanest shops I have ever been in. Mike and lifestyle tattoos were So professional. I am a loyal customer from here on on out! Thanks guys!

⚠️ Gave me a bad tat a few months back. I wrote a review of my experience and they responded by telling me I was looking for attention rather than holding the “artist” accountable. You can’t find my original review here anymore not sure why but it’s not right. Take accountability *edit they can check their records to see what tattoo I got and by who it’s a paper we have to sign, they even make you give a small description to even get the tat so I don’t need specifics my full name is displayed, the owner obviously doesn’t care about my experience or the issues I had, they’ve now tried to make it the customer’s fault TWICE Take that owner response in and choose wisely!! Just trying to save people from bad art work!!! 😇

I had my first session with Mike, it was a five hour session and he made the whole experience awesome. He was patient if I needed a break, super funny, incredibly efficient in his much he got done on the beginning of my sleeve, and had super clean work. I felt comfortable and confident that my tattoo would come out great, he made sure to take the time to make sure everything lined up, it looked proportionate, and went with the flow of my arm. He took my million ideas and was able to translate all if it. I couldnt recommend him more, I cant wait to see all the rad pieces hell create here in Idaho!

Had a friend get a calf tattoo done here at lifestyle by Mike Beard and it looked amazing. So I had to go in and get one for myself. The staff was super nice and knowledgeable. The shop itself is clean and spaced out well. If youre looking for the best tattoo artist around ask for Mike Beard. His work is amazing and detailed. Ill definitely come back to lifestyle tattoo and Mike for my next pieces.

This shop is so nice, the people are kind and funny. They really listen to what you want and find you the artist that will best suit what you want. My mom had a tattoo by Ian done and she loves it. I had my Deity Anubis done in a lovely purple suit looking regal and deadly. Dereck did a fantastic job. He didnt rush the healing of my outline but also didnt make me feel forgotten about.

I was referenced by my friend to go see Mike Beard because I like her work that she received by him. I went in and they were all professional about the experience. I received a tattoo from Mike and now I want my whole arm competed by him! He was very flexible with what I wanted to get done which was heritage work. So we started with a German piece and the eagle turned out fantastic, his attention to detail and shading were tremendous. He helped with the placement and what his idea about it was. Mike and lifestyle tattoo are recommended to everyone!

I have been to a lot of tattoo shops around the valley, this was by far the best experience I have ever had! the atmosphere is amazing, great vibes from all the artists. They prioritize your comfort, gave me a pillow, wrapped it up really nicely! I cant get over how different of an experience you get with life style tattoo 💖

Vinnie is a master of his craft. Ive been tattooed by him twice now. His designs are bold and well designed. Hes kind, cleanly and his attention to detail is great. I didnt get the name of the woman doing piercings but shes rad too and fixed my lobes up by giving me a piercing in the center of each (my older piercings were off centered). Will be returning soon.

Went in and got my very first tattoo with Jason Corona. He was nice and did a good job. There were some spots that needed touched up and some things he missed. We set up an appointment to fix somethings and that went fine as well. Chunks of ink are missing and it looks terrible. Well now its been months and Ive reached out SEVERAL times with no response. Not very good business practice to tell someone youll fix something and then not respond. Maybe youre happy leaving your customers walking around with this as your work.Ill respond to you rebuddle here. The entire time I worked with Jason we had contact through Instagram. He sure was quick to respond after this review though. I dont have a problem healing my tattoo I have a problem with his lack of response, if thats how we have communicated the ENTIRE time and you told me to reach out to that way what else am I supposed think? He told me to come back after that because he wouldnt touch the part that needed fixed the most. I have no desire to come back. Ill take my business elsewhere.

I just got my first tattoo by Cameron! He took his time to make sure it was the size and font I wanted, and he made sure it was exactly where I wanted it. His positive attitude about the whole thing made my experience so much better. My girlfriend also got a tattoo from him today. Cameron did so good on the fine lines and it turned out exactly how she wanted. He made sure we had all the aftercare instructions we needed as well. Such a good way to start my tattoo addiction!! Alyx did the most amazing piece on me. She is very easy going, customer oriented, and lighthanded to boot. I 10/10 recommend her, with a portfolio that spans every style of tattooing and a creativity that just can see your vision.The shop is very clean, comfortable, and all the artists are also really rad honestly. I made a last minute appointment with Jason Corona, to get a tribute tattoo for my dog Daisy who had passed. I brought in my ideas and vision and he quickly drew something up that I loved and took my feedback for adjustments. He was extremely professional and friendly and made me feel very comfortable the whole time. His expert advice on placement and after care were greaty appreciated! I will definitely be back for other body art.

I would recommend any artist in this shop! It is always a clean and professional experience. The best shop in the Valley by far! Brandon’s level of ability and competence make an ideal environment to get tattooed in. I love my leg sleeve so far, and cannot wait to go back for more! I got a cartilage piercing at this shop. Everything about the process went smoothly and all of the workers that I interacted with were nice. The piercer seemed very experienced. The reason that I am giving low stars is because my piercer did not give me any post instructions or recommendations on how to care for my piercing. I actually had to ask him for his advice on after care. This information may be common knowledge to some but I think it would be nice if this shop took the time to educate their piercing clients on post care or at least have some handout/literature for the clients to take home.I went to the location in Meridian.

I came to Lifestyle Tattoo as a walk-in to get tulips and a windmill on each of my forearms. Jasmine ended up doing the two pieces and I’m so happy she did! She really paid attention to the little details and you can see how much she cares about the work she does. I love how clean the lines are and the tulips are so beautifully delicate. I highly recommend Jasmine and will definitely be coming back to her for my next pieces!

Had a sweet custom piece done by Chad - I brought a rough sketch in and he made an AMAZING tattoo out of it. The shop is very clean with a nice minimalistic look to it (loved the stuff on the walls) with a very professional atmosphere. Good location too. Chad was very nice and it was very easy to schedule and the communication was fantastic. Overall a great experience and I will definitely be visiting Chad for my next piece!

Derek was amazing. He does these amazing and elaborate tattoos yet was so patient and kind with me and my nerves about a very small simple tattoo. He made sure I got exactly what I wanted and chatted with me through the process. I appreciated how personable he was while doing fantastic work. Will send everyone I know to him.

Before I found Mike and Lifestyle tattoo I was not happy with the service I was getting at another place. I started searching tattoo in Meridian and found them. All great reviews and I also checked out their Facebook and Instagram. I called and asked questions which were answered fully and then I walked in and spoke with Mike Beard. He was friendly and helpful with my idea. I was able to get an appointment in a reasonable time and when my daughter and I showed up Mike was ready to go. He had a couple of designs for us to choose from and made it easy. The parlor is clean and friendly. He was so fun! He tattooed me first and then my daughter. it was quick and perfect. I love his talent with shading. We got a Mama and baby bear and he never made us feel like it was a silly idea...its a very special meaning to us. After getting our tattoos I left with a smile on my face...and so did my daughter. His idea was better than we had come up with and we were thrilled. I would go back again in a heartbeat. Me and my friend came in as walk ins for our tattoos. I got Zach, and he did exactly what I wanted, and it looks perfect. Very personable, friendly, helpful, and clean. From walking in the door to leaving everyone was great. I will definitely be returning here for future work!

I wish that the rating system was out of 100 cause I would definitely give this place a 100/100 but 5/5 will suffice. After getting tattoos from different places, I would suggest this place out of any of them! Me and my best friend wanted to get tattoos, after calling multiple places and actually going into different places, just after the phone call to set up a consultation at lifestyle, I knew this was gonna be the place! It has such amazing vibes. We got in to get our consultations with Cameron, and he is so amazing! Hes nice, funny, and he literally set us up so our appointment was the next day! We come to the appointment and he sees us walk in, greets us and talks to us a little bit about our tattoos (he already made a stencil for one). I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW AMAZING CAMERON WAS! He has such a light hand, amazing line work, and is willing to touchup or redo lines that you didnt feel were to its best potential, hes willing to do anything you need to have the best experience. Cameron is young but he knows exactly what he is doing and I trust him 100%! I know I will be going back to him everytime I want a tattoo. The environment at the shop itself is amazing! There is a lot of open space so you dont feel crammed, every artist has their own section, they keep their shop very clean and sanitary. The artists that were there did amazing work while we were there, everyone that works there seems to really have a bunch of knowledge and experience. I really love this place, my experience was amazing and I will suggest this place to anyone and everyone!

Brandon is amazing- he has now done 2 on my son to mark events he has overcome that he wanted something of great significance to mark his survival and staying on course. My son gave him very rough, random pieces of what he wanted the tattoo to incorporate and Brandon was able to hit the mark dead on with both.My husband was so impressed that he went in to mark his 45th birthday with his first tattoo and it is amazingly detailed.They both have plans to hit him up again- repeat customers says it all.

They did really well with my daughter and her first tattoo. The guy that I had didnt seem like he wanted to do mine. It felt like he had the needle set long and was extremely heavy handed. I dont know what his overall problem was but when he quoted me $400 after it all was done put me over the top, I will find another tattoo shop!!!!

Ive gotten most of my tattoos done by Brandon and his work blows my mind. I refuse to go to any other shop now. His son Cameron recently started tattooing and hes done a couple of mine and he already is AMAZING. If Brandon is booked out, I will without a doubt book with Cameron. I usually get nervous about artists just starting out, but Camerons already killin it, that i dont even hesitate going to him. Will forever recommend them to everyone.

My friend and I are in Idaho for three weeks on a work trip and we haven’t had the best experience here so far but Zach changed that for us! We had a great time and felt really valued at this tattoo shop. He’s a gem!

So I attended the $20 Friday the 13th flash sale. When I got inside the guy that was my artist- I dont know his name. He has slicked back black hair and he told me me moved from California and this was at the meridian location- he had a not so welcoming attitude. But I didnt really care too much about that because they were all probably exhausted from seeing hundreds of people in one day. I have other tattoos, this was not my first one. He was super heavy handed. In the way that he just pressed the tattoo gun down and pulled down my skin. It was seriously the worst pain. I havent bled from tattoos before, I know it can be normal, but when I left I had a lot of blood on my arm and now I have a centimeter wide gash along most of my tattoo. I am worried it is gonna scar and it has not been a fun healing journey

Super nice tattooers! It was my first time getting a tattoo. Mike was super chill and encouraging! It was fun joking around while he gave me my tattoos. Highly recommend. If I decide to get another one someday, Ill definitely return.

Jasmine is amazing and so talented at dainty fine lines tattoos. This was my first tattoo and really had no idea what to expect. I knew exactly what I wanted and she was able to deliver a beautiful piece and make me feel at ease. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of a scheduling issue... ultimately she was able to meet with me and make it all work!

Cameron has done 2 tattoos for me and he’s awesome! He was so friendly and welcoming. His tattooing is flawless. I have 15 tattoos; I’ve had good artists and bad artists. Cameron is great, I definitely recommend!!!

Being new to Idaho and not knowing a lot of people can make searching for a tattoo artist very hard! Thankfully I came across Mike Beard’s work from several people on The Meridian Moms Facebook page of all places. I’m not going to lie I’m a little nervous when it comes to tattoos.. one for the pain and two I want to love what goes on my body! Mike delivered like a true tattoo artist taking my idea, adding his creative twist as an artist and most of all made me feel so comfortable as his client. He gets 5 stars for not only his amazing work but for his customer service and in true nurse fashion (as I am) his bedside manner! At the end of it all he delivered an amazing tattoo, education to keep my tattoo healing properly, and a returning customer for years to come!

I booked an 8 hour tattoo appointment with them back in March for August. They informed me that they wouldn’t see the drawing of what I wanted until the appointment day.When I expressed my concern of what would happen if I wanted changes made and that it would affect my tattoo time, they instantly replied with “I will refund you Friday”. Then also proceeded to try to cancel my partners appointment too without permission.Not professional at all! Why should I pay for 8 hours of tattoo time and not actually get the 8hours?I love how little they care when the tattoo is permanent! Well I care, never going here again!

I drew up my own tattoo design I wanted on me. I went to McNabbs at first & it was not a comfortable friendly vibe, they didnt listen to what I said I wanted, didnt ask me any questions& just took my deposit & left. Then came up with something completely different than I wanted and I had to wait two weeks and lost my deposit for no reason. They also told me my design I drew couldnt be done.Lifestyle is WAY different. Jason was friendly within seconds of me walking in, asked how he could help me & said hed work with me on my design. He was able to fit me in the next week even though he was booked for months out. He said hed book an extra hour so we can go over it before the appointment & make sure Im happy, need to change anything, etc. (Wow, SO much different than McNabbs). The other place made me feel awkward for wanting anything different when he didnt even do anything I said I wanted at McNabbs (he did his own completely different design). Jason, on the other hand, made me feel very comfortable right away and throughout, he explained the deposit would go toward the tattoo (the other guy did not tell me that), gave a receipt (the other place didnt), & even charged me per the piece instead of his hourly rate, which saved me quite a bit! He did everything I wanted on my tattoo and it looks so close to what I drew up and the other place said it couldnt be done. Jason did Such an amazing job and his line work is..just...wow!!The whole experience from the very first second till the end was WAY better at Lifestyle than the other place and exactly how Id want my tattoo experience to be. I would definitely recommend Jason. Im beyond happy with the result & so glad I went here..thanks Jason!!

Did flash tattoos the night of 2/12 and Dru was fantastic! He has a great personality and is very kind. I started getting a bit dizzy and he bought me water. Hes an amazing artist and a kind soul.

The owners son treated me so bad. He was so rude & dismissive of me, so much so that I left and I didn’t get my tattoo there. His artwork is good, but man was he a douchebag. Super expensive too unless they like you. Other artists there are very good & nice. Cameron is the artist that made me not want to go back.

Before Mike Beard I struggled with finding an artists I felt confident enough with to trust with not only doing my tattoos, but making them look good.Mike works out at Golds Gym, where I am a trainer, we got to talking and decided he would he a good fit to start my cover up and future pieces.All the time I have spent with Mike has been extremely pleasant. Conversation is enjoyable, great sense of humor, keeps you entertained and laughing while he works.Extremely pleased with his work, plan on having him do all future work.

I came in on a walk-in day with a big piece in mind. I wasnt sure theyd be able to do it but they did! Mike was able to squeeze me in for my piece which he did an outstanding job on creating for me! Its my sickest piece to date that I have now and Im in absolute love. He was incredibly professional, cool af and funny. Also put on movies while he worked which honestly was a blessing because it was also the longest non-stop session Ive ever sat through at 4 1/2 hours. He even provided a little lotion bottle and soap at the end of the session which was dope because I def forgot to buy soap before hand. Hes very dedicated to his craft and you can tell in his work and the fact he even stayed after hours to get done all in one go considering I was outta state and leaving again soon. Anyone looking for some sick work look no further then Mike!

I got my daith piercings done a few months ago. I was so impressed with Derick (probably spelled his name wrong)! He is very professional, informative, and all around awesome! I was so impressed that I went back to have my nipples pierced a couple weeks ago and yet again he exceeded all expectations. Hands down the best piercing experience in town!

The guy from Cali is cool. Ian Ive gone back twice. Third sometime here shortly. The guy is fait prices for sure talk with him. He does not do piercing (while he is working on a tattoo ) or charge a 150 an hour to sketch and size. He talks the entire time making it a breeze. He is hilarious and easy to talk to. He makes you feel welcomed and that he takes pride in his work. He doesnt blow his own toot either. Lol 😆

Mike Beard did an amazing job on my tattoo, I was a little sceptical going to a new shop, but after meeting the artists and seeing what great work they do and what a clean shop they keep, my worries were gone, my tattoo turned out even better than I could have imagined, and the attention to detail was incredible. Great atmosphere in the shop. Everyone is extremely personable and its a great experience.Had my work done by Alen and I highly recommend him. I came in with a general idea of what I wanted and he helped me create a plan for a work of art. 4 hours later, it was exceeding my expectations. He cranked out some killer detail work.

I went in for a septum piercing and everyone there was super welcoming and asked what i needed! Derik (sorry if i spelt the name wrong) told me everything i needed and was polite and very kind! We filled out the paperwork and then i went and got my septum pierced! He explained everything and how the process would be and helped me calm down quite a bit! Did a walk in on a Friday afternoon. The owners son was able to fit me in. Even though he has only been doing it for a year he did great. He drew out a design for my left wrist to match my right wrist tattoo. Definitely a place I will come back to if I get another.

This is by far my favorite place to go to get my tattoos done! I just got one done today that has a lot of line work, and they rocked it! I will be coming back here for all my tattoos from now on and recommend it to anyone that wants a great tattoo done by some amazing artists!

I’ve been to lifestyle for 5 of my tattoos and they never disappoint! Every artist is wonderful but Dereck especially is very kind and welcoming. Plus they allow walk ins!! 10/10 recommend

Would give zero starts if I could. During their $20.00 tattoos for Friday the 13th I messaged them and asked how late they were open, they were helpful and let me know that they were doing the $20.00 tattoos until midnight. I arrived at 10:15 to them telling me they stopped doing the tattoos at 10 exactly. While they had a waiting room that had around 10 other customers in it so it’s not like I even came in as they were about to close up. Inconsiderate and rude to turn down a customer because you decided to close 2 hours early. Don’t go here.

Had an issue at one of the shops and it was promptly resolved by the owner in a quick, nice, and professional manner. I really appreciate the time and effort he puts into making sure his customers are happy and taken care of. Would definitely come back and recommend to others. :)) very happy with the overall experience.

Jason Corona at Lifestyle NAILED IT on a cover up of an old, outdated tattoo. He does beautiful work and has a very gentle hand. Seriously - Ive had papercuts that hurt worse than this tattoo, and it was on my ankle. I would HIGHLY recommend Jason!!

Cameron did my lip tat and it came out so so good! He was very gentle because this was my first one ever and did an amazing job🫶

Great shop. Been going to Brandon over 10 years now. Even before he had a shop. He takes his time to make sure his work is perfect and it shows. His shop is clean and his work stations are very clean. Very professional. Highly recommend.

Vinnie was awesome when it came to making sure I was doing okay and I was comfortable during my appointment! Very friendly and is working his magic on my tattoo. Everyone in the shop was also very friendly and I can’t wait to go back!

The lady MIA that did the tattoo on my girlfriend did a bad job. She wanted forever tattoo on her but if you look at the picture, it’s just a bad tattoo. Looks like the tattoo artist didn’t even try or cared about how it will look.

The place was really relaxed, my tattoo artist was amazing and really nice for it being my very first tattoo. Two days in the healing process and still absolutely obsessed with the work Tank did, he made my 3 year drawing finally come to life!

I went to Derek to get my nostril pierced and it wasn’t a bad experience. Quick and to the point. Was out within 6 minutes.UPDATE: End of December and the first piercing was done in August. If you like your piercing quick and to the point go here. Just make sure you clearly say where you want the piercing located. It’s not just as simple as “I want a nostril piercing” and they shove the needle where they recommend. Never say yes to what’s recommended just because you want the piercing and know nothing about it. Communicate the location! I now have a marking on my nose where I didn’t want it. Now I’ve gotten it redone and couldn’t be happier. No ones at fault for the piercing being mislocated. If anything it’s my fault for not making sure it was placed properly as I most likely didn’t say it clear enough. It’s not 3 stars cause they did something, it’s 3 stars because it wasn’t what it should’ve been (again my fault if anyone’s). Make sure you COMMUNICATE. Try going to Derek. He’s good at what he does.

Dereck does amazing piercings and Cameron is a very talented tattoo artist. Great atmosphere, felt very welcomed, everyone is so nice and friendly. 10/10 recommend

Brandon, the owner, is VERY RUDE! He treats people like is is inconvenienced they are there and he is very pretentious! Do not go here - there are plenty of other tattoo shops around, better ones really, that would be happy to have your business and treat you with care and interest! Brandon - you are not the only game around.

My sister, best friend and I all got matching tattoos from cameron and he did such a great job! It didn’t hurt at all he had such a light touch and the tattoo looks great! Definitely recommend!!!

Not impressed with this shop. We went in on Friday the 13th as a spur of the moment decision. My partner had never gotten a tattoo, so we figured a small flash would be a good intro to the experience.Ill preface this with the fact that I go in with low expectations on these days. Its Friday the 13th, people are coming and going to get cheap, generic tattoos, and these guys are crazy busy. I can only imagine all the annoyances that come along with that on days like these.My partner went first, and got the most basic outline, and paid immediately after. It took all of two minutes, if that. Afterwards, the artist started cleaning and setting up for me to go next.While waiting, my partner asked how much the tattoos were, after watching the artist begin to blow us off after a friend of a friend had come in. The artist was discussing, loudly, across the shop about the piercings/tattoo this person wanted to get, and about the deal he would cut her to come in on a different day. I told my partner that the tattoos were $20, and he explained that he gave the guy $50. He thought they were $40 (we had looked at a different shop online earlier that had $40 deals) and gave him a $10 tip. It wasnt a big deal - we werent too worried about it, and the guy seemed nice enough.However, we started to get a little annoyed as he continued to blow off the same customers that had just given him a $30 tip, albeit accidental, it was still $30 extra for minutes of work.I went next. After he was done, I asked the guy how much I owed him. I figured Id give him the benefit of the doubt, thinking perhaps he thought my partner had paid for mine as well (he knew we were together, and a similar scenario had happened earlier with other customers). If that was the case, it wouldve explained the guys lackadaisical attitude towards getting us taken care of, and Id planned to give him more of a tip, as $10 certainly wasnt enough for two tattoos, regardless of how small. But nope. The guy turned away, avoided eye contact, and quoted me $20. My partner passively asked if all the tattoos were $20 - especially given the fact this guy took $50 without question, yet quoted me $20 for an outline that was more detailed and time consuming than what my partner got. The artist said nothing.Ultimately, we didnt let the experience ruin our night, but I can confidently say we wont be back, and Ill never refer anyone here. Its one thing to have some confusion over pricing, especially on a crazy night like this - but this guy knew what he was doing and thought he was pulling one over on us. If you can comfortably be this dishonest with first time customers that you think are too dumb to know whats going on, I cant even imagine what other kind of business practices youre implementing on a regular basis. This place lacks some serious integrity. If you cant trust these guys to handle your time and money fairly, I suggest not trusting them to permanently mark your body.Edited to add: As the owner responded to my review, Ill clarify a few things.- Its one thing to interact with everyone like youre throwing a party. Its another to blow people off who are waiting on you for 10 minutes. This was nearing the end of the night.My statement about those kind of nights being busy was to give the artists the benefit of the doubt and illustrate I was under no illusion this was going to be some killer tattoo or experience on a Friday the 13th deal.- The artist who took my partners $50, did in fact sift through the money prior to placing it in his drawer. Whether you outright count it or not, its pretty difficult to mistake $20 for $50. Come on dude. The fact that he sifted through that money, then avoided eye contact when I asked him how much I owed him AND ignored my partner when he asked to clarify the price, in order to address the overpayment issue, tells me this wasnt an honest mistake.You may very reputable but youre not very ethical or honest.

Went to Lifestyle for the 13th, twice! Had such a pleasant experience the first time that we brought our MIL back for a second. Davey did amazing work on both of mine and had great conversation! Can’t wait to go back and build more! Thanks guys!

I had my nose pierced at Ikon 2 weeks ago and it has been bleeding and sore every since and then today my dentist had me take out my ring for x-rays and I couldnt get it back in my nose. So I went to Lifestyle even though I hadnt heard anything about them because they were close. When I got there Dereck was very helpful in picking out a a new ring for me. When he went to clean my nose he noticed the blood and even scar tissue and repierced my nose and chose different jewelry thatll heal better. He even explained an aftercare routine that will be better than the one I received at Ikon. Dereck was extremely helpful, nice and very knowledgeable/trained in his feild. I have definitely found a shop that I will go back to again and again and feel comfortable recommending to people.

Edit* As of 4/11/21 my tattoo has been fixed. Communication was great this time and I was in there within the week. The colors I wanted were added into my design with extra details. Have to wait until it is healed but right now its looking pretty awesome 👌😎The people were nice but my tattoo was not what I wanted. My siblings and I went in there to get similar tattoos and each of us got a different person. My siblings tattoos are awesome but mine turned out .... not great. The first time it scarred up and my tattoo artist told me to come back in for him to fix it. So I did and now it looks like a tattoo someone has had for 20 years. I got gems and everyone keeps asking me about the Easter eggs on my arm. Now I have to go get it fixed by someone else even though he was supposed to fix it already. Plus it was hard getting a hold of him. Im giving 3 stars because my sisters and brothers came out amazing. Just be careful on who does it.

When I asked for ear piercings I was told they would be 40 dollars. I agreed and was seated. The piercer then told me it was 50 dollars. I agreed again because I was already seated. When he finished he faced the ipad toward me to tip, the lowest option was ten dollars without clicking the bottom button that said custom tip. Im anxious and didnt want to do that when the piercer was holding the ipad lol.. I understand that that is on me.The next day the earings folded. They were a cheap bendy plastic. I couldnt bend them back without taking them out. I had to put better quality earings in myself, in which I noticed that my left piercing was slightly crooked. I will give the piercer credit, it was painless and quick. Was not worth the 63 dollars, still.Edit: I provided a picture of the bent earing. It bends like the twist ties on bread bags.

I walked in and got a tattoo from Dereck and i was nothing but happy with everything. he’s very nice, professional, and the shop was very very clean. my tattoo looks amazing and i’m very satisfied with everything about my tattoo, the shop, and the artist! i will be going back for more.

Mo gave me the best tattoo I have by far. It turned out way better than expected. The people there are all friendly and feed off of each others art. Great vibes

They have great service and care it was my first tattoo, I didn’t do the best but the guy made sure I was all good and got some sugar and water for me in the middle of a tattoo he was good about talking to me and making sure I’m ok, I can’t remember my artist name but it was a walk in, and I was in and out within a hour

The piercer charged me 165!! For 3 piercings! And usually jewelry is included with piercings but wasn’t. And my piercer didn’t provide any backings for my jewelry to help stay in my ear!! And he had a hard time piercing my cartilage . And now my ear is swollen.
