Bold Traditions Tattoo

I’ve been getting pierced/tattooed by Jay & Logan for a year and a half now. I’ve never experienced unprofessionalism or uncleanliness. Piercings are no joke & sometimes can get infected or irritated. Jay is extremely knowledgeable on how to solve these problems and will do all she can to help. Logan is so nice & AMAZING to work with. He’s light handed, fun to talk to, & very kind!The other artists in the shop are extremely helpful and such genuine people, out of all the shops in Middletown - this is the one to go to! They’re knowledgeable, friendly & have a strong love for the art they create.

Love the atmosphere here. They took my tattoo and designed it even better. They was quick and was very on point. With letting you know what would be best when it came to color on your tattoo. I would suggest you want a tattoo this is the place to go. Cause they welcome you in with open hands and are very friendly with their customers.

Corey Adams is an absolute artistic genius with raw talent and skills that surpass the best in the industry. I travel across the state to go to him and will continue to do so. The shop is super clean, great vibes, and very accommodating! Highly impressed, coming from a highly critical person : )

Logan always does an amazing job. This is my 9th tattoo with him and he’s always been so nice to me. He’s extremely passionate about his work and attention to detail. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a solid artist.

Called for a walk in and was gladly accepted for a nose piercing by Kae. She was so sweet and informative. She made sure I was comfortable and explained the process of the piercing and aftercare. I adore this tattoo/piercing place. The inside was beautiful as well! Thank you guys!

Unclean, unprofessional, and the jewelry fell out because Jay did NOT make sure it was on right. Idk about tattoos, but the piercings were a mistake. And an expensive one at that. I basically paid them for nothing but pain. I waited a bit to review because I got two piercings and wanted to be sure but the remaining piercing (which is crooked but thats not really noticable) seems like it should heal.

I got my ears repierced from Kaitlyn Vaught. I normally don’t like pain but she was great and very kind with me. I would recommend her anytime.

Went and got my septum done by corey, i have a low pain tolerance and pretty bad anxiety but he was very understanding and did the piercing part quick! I don’t think i’ll trust anyone else with my piercings from here on out :)

Mike always does an amazing job with my tattoos and takes the time to make sure all the details are just how I want them to be. Shop is always clean and has a great atmosphere, check Mike out if you’re looking for a new artist.

I had Mindy do one last time. This time Chris did my art. Great personality, cared about how I was doing and listened to me talk and talk. I was the only women in there that day them men had to be thinking I wish she shut up. I do that when I am getting tatted. Chris and Mindy both are amazing, but everyone seems to be amazing artist. They are top notch artist and wonderful people. I am super pleased with my art!

I got my septum pierced there and I absolutely love it! I’ve had no issues with it. It was my first ever time going here and I’ll say I’ll definitely be coming again. The pain and the process of getting the piercing was amazing, and didn’t hurt too bad but the pain depends on your tolerance! But I’d recommend going to them! 10/10!

Corey Adams gave me a dermal piercing beside my eye in April 2020.. It is now March 2023 and it is still going strong. It healed perfectly (FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS yes, you really DO need the bandage for that long!) and hasnt budged. I 100% recommend, and plan to eventually get one of his amazing tattoos.

Jazmine was amazing!!! She made my nipple piercing process so easy and comfortable and was very informative and clean. 10/10 recommend for any piercing needs!!

I will ALWAYS/ONLY recommend 2 tattoo artist to anyone that wants a beautiful and perfect tattoo(s) — Mindy is one of those artist.5-6 years ago, I had went to a another tattoo artist at another shop and had sparrows tattooed on my back. I never was happy with them and always wanted to hide the tattoos. I even research on having the removed. That’s until my husband recommended I schedule an appointment with Mindy. And, that was the best decision I’ve made when it comes to my tattoos. During the sessions, she took her time and always suggested what she thought would look best before placing the ink into my skin. She has recreated the tattoos into such a beautiful piece of art work. I’m no longer ashamed to show off my back, and I have Mindy to thank for that. I got tattooed by Chris Prince and he gave me a traditional pomegranate on my right calf on the left side. He was super professional, everything was really clean and he had to drawing done before I got to the shop. 100% recommend Prince and I don’t think I’ll go anywhere else to get my tattoos now! Everyone in the shop with him was also super nice. He spent a full 2 hours on my tattoo and I love it!

Mindy is truly amazing. Ive been going to her for well over 5 years now and refuse to go to anyone else. I get compliments on my half sleeve by her almost everyday. She could charge well over what she does for how awesome her work is. I never have to wait to see her for my appointment and shes always so friendly. The artist Mindy is absolutely amazing! My sleeve isnt even finished yet and I already get so many compliments on it. Her lines are very even and well placed and her color work is phenomenal! Cant wait to get this Venom and Symbiote sleeve finished 💖The shop in general is also very clean and all the staff is very friendly, I cant reccomend this place enough!

Mindy has done all of my tattoos. She is an exceptional artist! I have 7 tattoos by her, every where I go I get stopped and asked about them. The last time I was out in piblic with them showing I was stopped 5 different times. She is extremely knowledgeable about her ink and her layouts. If she does not think something will look correct or the best that it can, she will advise you against it, with an explanation. I highly recommend her!!!Everyone one that works there is friendly and professional. I have never had to wait past my appointment time. The shop is always clean.

Mindy did a great job on my tribute tattoo for my dad about a year ago and it still looks amazing. She was so thorough and made it look exactly the way I wanted it. She even made suggestions to make it better. Bold traditions was a lively shop with great people.

Mindy did an amazing job on my cover up. I get so many compliments. Cant wait for her to fix my other one. She listens to what you want, will give suggestions if she doesnt think it will work, wont blow smoke up your a$$ and really cares that you are getting what you want.

Got a tattoo from Logan as a walk-in and he killed it! It was simple linework and it came out looking really clean, and the process was super quick easy. Will definitely be coming back !

Don’t know who we were talking to but the dude acted like he didn’t want our business whatsoever. Terrible attitude from one of the employees. I see a lot of good reviews on here but we didn’t have a good experience; we even called ahead and told them what we wanted and what time we were coming. If you’re looking to get a small basic tattoo don’t come here. I’m sure they do great work, but not everyone is looking for a complex tattoo all the time.

Me and my wife followed our artist to bold traditions and by far the friendliest staff and cool laid back environment with great artist. We use mindy there she has done numerous pieces on both of us and we are awed everytime we see new work out of the shop absolutely the best in this shop in our opinions!!!

I have been seeing Mindy for a couple years now consistently and refuse to see anyone else. She is a linework/shading GENIUS and she never breaks the bank. I always look forward to our sessions and can’t wait to start new projects with her!

Excellent atmosphere there. Like walking into someones well decorated den. Pool table is a nice touch.Very professional. I went in to get a small tattoo from an anime I enjoy. Image is very tightly drawn so I had some reservations about line separation. I had no need to worry. Calebs work was clean, crisp and sharp. He was also very quick. I will return there for more work to be done.

I dont particularly like tattoos and I also dont own any. But I stopped here to chat with the people working and a guy that was getting his tat done. I spoke with a Mark who was very friendly and a good guy to chat with. I am sure he would have been more talkative if he wasnt busy having to focus on work.

Not welcoming whatsoever. Toldme i could come in at 4pm so i did, once I got there they told me I would have to wait till 5:30. 6 o’clock rolls around and another employee that was not the artist that was supposed to be tating me, came up to me and told me that the one that was supposed to be tattooing me no longer had time for me and asked me to come back the next day.

Mike is awesome! Walked in, and he gave exactly what i asked for. Took less than 30 mins, he was extremely nice, honest and professional. I definitely just found my new artist! Thanks Mike

A few weeks back, my youngest daughter had an unfortunate situation happen to her where her earring back became lodged into her ear lobe. My first instinct was to take her to the ER/Dr. office, but someone recommended to me to take her to a piercer. Corey was recommended to do the job. We arrive to the facility & I’m prepared to be turned away bc my kiddo is only 7 and it’s a tattoo shop - typical to have age requirements. They welcomed us both in with nothing but care/concern. Anthony started on numbing her ear and massaging the back so it would poop to the surface and Corey finished the job of ‘fishing’ the earring back out. Mind you, this earring back was wedged in her ear good and this was a painful process for her. They worked on getting this earring back out for about 30 minutes. Not one time did these gentlemen ‘shush’ my kiddo or treat her with any less respect that they would have an adult. Not only that, but a third gentleman was tattooing a client at the time and through all of the agony my daughter went through (bc it was painful folks) each one of those men were rooting her on telling her how good she was doing and being brave. What a great group of guys! The process of the earring back removal was a huge success, the ear lobe was not ripped or cut open as what would have happened at the dr office. They did a fantastic job in preserving any kind of damage to her ear lobe. No rips, tears... nothing. And to date, the ear has healed perfectly. These are the kinds of ppl we should all want to do business with! They explained every part of the process to us, what they were doing and what to expect ‘next’. Went over strict healing instructions.... I will definitely find a reason to go back and see them again!! Thanks guys! You really made my 7 yr old a happy kid when all was said and done!

I went yesterday and got a daith piercing from Cody, he was very polite, very clean, answered every little question I had. I love how he explained every step he was doing and why he was doing it.... I will definitely be back for all of my tattoo and piercing needs.
