Ive been going to many different tattoo artists since I got my first tattoo my 18th birthday. Ill be 30 on June 17th and Im happy to say I found the one artist I want to stick with for the rest of my work. I moved around from rockland county to the bronx back to rockland then to washingtonville and finally found a home in middletown 2 years ago. I have to say I have a bit of an impulse control problem when it comes to both tattoos and piercings because once I think of one i want, as long as i have money for it I rush to find the first tattoo artist closest to me whos willing to do it and often times that wasnt even in a shop but someones living room or something similar. I have a mix of great work and then work you can tell i got it in someones house and didnt pay much but im not big on regrets so I dont regret any of them. It was always a thought I had to find a regular artist to go to because I plan on having many many more. I can say now that it should be clear to most that I want full sleeves but I have a lot of gaps still so i think its best to prioritize finishing my arms first. Then I plan on doing my back, my ribs across the front under my chest, maybe some pieces down the sides of my stomach to attach to the 2 pieces i have on each hip. Then I want to cover my thighs and possibly get full leg sleeves if I come up with enough art to cover my lower legs. I already have both my hands mostly covered and I have a small diamond tattoo in the middle of my throat so Id only do a full throat covering neck tattoo if i found something the diamond would blend in nicely to but not disappear. I also plan on touching up some of my tattoos that werent my best work but as far as cover ups I only plan to cover 2 tattoos for personal reasons no matter how bad some of the others are because Im a true believer in how every tattoo is a memory and they hold a moment of my life in each and every one of them so i dont regret any of them. I first met Antonio the owner of Schuchiis when he came to my job looking for help with his car when a friend and I helped him, chatted a bit to find out what he did and both of us love tattoos so we both got his information. In that moment i didnt realize Id hit the jackpot. Not only has he become a friend but hes also shown me every quality Ive ever wanted in a tattoo artist which is patience, attention to detail, thoroughness, a great communicator, hes well prepared for his clients with multiple sizes to give them options to make sure they get exactly what they want and the exact size they want, he makes it easy to talk to him so you can let him know if theres something youd like him to edit for example on one of my most recent ones he put breaks in and I wanted some of them to be much smaller so I explained how much smaller I wanted it/ what line I wanted it to go to ect and he did just that. He works with you to make sure he understands your vision for your tattoo perfectly so it ends up coming out just as you imagined it would. His pricing is also sooo reasonable. As long as I live in middletown or even close enough to it I dont plan on going anywhere else for a tattoo ever again.
Amazing work and very patient! He takes his time and knows how to make anyone feel welcome and comfortable! I would recommend this tattoo shop to anyone and everyone who wants a beautiful piece that’ll make you proud!
