Mike Davenport Tattoo

Mike is an incredibly talented artist and extremely skilled technician. First I was incredibly impressed with how he took an initial design and improved it dramatically - I absolutely am thrilled with the results and will be working with Mike on another tattoo soon. Would 100% recommend. Hes the best.

Getting a tattoo is obviously a commitment and a process. It starts with finding an artist who understands your vision and can bring that vision to life if you will. That person has been Mike and will always be Mike! Mike has done all of my tattoos and I couldn’t be happier and/or more satisfied. I have now had multiple large pieces done by Mike. My first large half sleeve was a 6 hour sit and it went very well. The process itself wasnt painful and Mikes personality makes chatting throughout comfortable and makes the time pass faster. a few years later and my tattoo has barely faded and looks great still, the quality and artistry is fantastic. Looking forward to going back for the next part of the current sleeve I am working on.

Mike did an amazing job! That only was this my first tattoo, but my father had passed away recently, so this was going to be extremely meaningful for me. Naturally, I was very nervous, but Mike did an awesome job keeping me calm and comfortable. I would recommend him and I will definitely be going to him for future Tattoos!

Mike’s response time was incredible! He replied hours after I inquired and everything from there was just as smooth. This is only my second tattoo and from the size to shading, I was a little spook but Mike made it a comfortable experience while being efficient with time.

Mike did my tattoo at a convention in Louisville, KY. Couldnt be any more pleased with his work than I am. He went to bat to get a design we had on a phone drawn out in his limited time being I didnt like anything he had to choose from. His touch is soft. He has a very steady hand. Line work is outstanding!! You can really see it in the reapers hand. My grim reaper looks like a grim reaper from several feet away. It gets a lot of attention and compliments. I often think of taking a trip to Milwaukee just to have Mike do more tats for me as I trust his workmanship!Thanks Mike for the outstanding job!

Mikes a true professional- both my daughter and I felt really comfortable with him and the space. His work is perfect, crisp and clean - we chose the same design but in different areas (her ribs, my forearm) and Mike really took the time to perfect the placement and give us suggestions based on his extensive background as a tattoo artist. Mike is Awesome!! I had him redo a home tat I had done a couple years ago. Purple ribbon with a butterfly for Fybromyalgia awareness. He not only redid the lines but also added better color to make the butterfly wings pop!! He went above and beyond plain old customer service. Hes charming and friendly and informative. Ive never had a better tattooing experience, and not this wasnt my first tattoo. Mike is an amazing artist. I requested two intertwined snakes, one light and one dark, all black ink. He delivered and then some. Not only is his work immaculate but he is fast and doesnt have have a heavy hand. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Mike Davenport is an amazing artist! From start to finish he was very communicative and honest about my very large cover up on my calf. He was upfront about what I should expect and worked with me on a design that would not only cover the tattoo, but showcase the amazing artist that he is. He was patient and incredibly light handed. I had a great time getting my tattoo, I was comfortable the entire time and was often asked if I was doing okay. This was my first tattoo, Mike Davenport did the artwork and I truly love it. I was recommend to Walkers Point Tattoo by a friend and Im so glad I was! I went in with a picture of something I liked and Mike was able to draw out something similar but with incorporating some of my favorite flowers! The appointment took about 3 hours (we were even done a tad early cause Mike is a beast!). There was never a dull moment while sitting in his chair. We talked about anything and everything we could think of and shared a bunch of laughs. I will definitely be coming back to Mike to get more ink!

Love Mikes work! Went there the other day for my first tattoo. He made me feel very comfortable, had everything ready for the appointment 15 mins before it was to start. There were alot of walk-ins. I suggest if you are getting a piece that needs to be redesigned or is going to take longer than an hour, you shouldsprobably set an appointment.
