I had a nose piercing done with Tasha and was super satisfied throughout the whole experience! She made me super comfortable and her vibe was great. I had a lot of bad experiences with having my nose pierced multiple times so I was super nervous to try again but she made me real comfortable and explained literally everything to me. I like how she gave me the after care instructions before the piercing and really liked that she explained each tool she was using and what it was being used for. During the procedure she also explained everything while doing it. Definitely will never go anywhere else for a piercing! I loved the vibe of the shop too, everyone I came across was welcoming and helpful.

Chaz was amazing! He tattooed myself and my two friends. He was patient, delivered exactly what we requested and overall just had a good vibe; we couldn’t be happier! I had a vision of a pretty quirky tattoo for my son, and he helped that vision come to life and enhanced it with the right shading and placement as well. I couldn’t say enough good things about him.Clean, quick, and beautiful work done!P.S. I’ll also add that we went to another shop after for piercings b/c their piercer wasn’t in for the day and the vibe in the other shop was SOOO different, no pictures, no one could go back with you, Just very strict and not fun for group settings. That shop was also an open floor plan while this one had rooms. And before finding the Skin museum we went to another shop down the street that wasn’t even open during business hours, smh.So just don’t waste your time at any other tattoo/piercing shops and check out the Skin museum!

Went here for the first time, because of the black Friday special. Chaz was awesome! He was super down to earth and personable. I love my tats! Everyone there was very polite. Got to play Uno while I was waiting for my designs to be drawn up (for reference). Ill definitely be getting my next tattoo here!

I did not personally get a tattoo but my friend i was with got one and it came out exceptionally well. The tattoo artist was very professional and proficient in his craft.

Love this shop! My sister and I needed to find a spot that took walks-ins because we wanted matching tattoos while I was in town. Chaz got us right in and absolutely killed it. His fine line and cursive was on point. Everyone there is super friendly and relax. Ill definitely be back skin museum!

The skin museum is awesome! Just got my second piece done there, and Chaz was great. Hes not too heavy handed with the tattooing and hes really friendly and easy to talk to. I went in for Friday the 13th flash and they had a good variety of options, as well as the option to bring in your own design, which rules. A really excellent option for any looking for a tattoo in Milwaukee.

Just got my first tattoo from Chaz. It went great! They had a great Friday the 13th deal, so I decided to book my tattoo through their website. Got my stencil done just the way I wanted. Chaz made sure I would be prepared for the pain from the tattoo and the aftercare. Would go again!

Very nice experience! I got a line work tattoo done of the Birth of Venus, and wow!! The artist really did a good job. He went over a lot of things before he started just to make sure we were on the same page about everything and how it would look. He also made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Overall a really outstanding service.

My husband and I had an amazing experience with Natasha for our piercings. She spent time educating us on the piercings, jewelry, and the aftercare prior to starting and made us feel very comfortable during piercing. The place was clean and everything was sterile. Ive already recommended her to a family member and I would recommend her and The Skin Museum to anybody looking for a piercing!

Jeremy did a dragon ball piece on my arm and it was awesome , the detail, the shadowing but most of all how excited he was to do the piece. He put a lot of heart into the tattoo and that truly is what makes it an amazing piece. 11/10 highly recommend coming to the skin museum! Chris was all very helpful!

I got my first tattoos yesterday at the skin museum and I couldn’t be any happier. Not only is the place itself super chill and friendly but the artists are literally goated. I had Chaz do 2 tattoos on my back and he did an exceptional job, he’s also dope as hell. Couldn’t imagine myself going anywhere else for my next appointment.

First time getting a tattoo, scheduled a 2 hour session with Chaz. Amazing experience and Chaz was super communicative about the whole process and was able to flawlessly transform my designs to exactly what I wanted. Definitely plan on coming back!

Its hard to find artists who appreciate working on dark skin. I figured, if I wanted a great tattoo on my skin, then I needed to find a black artist or an artist with extensive ethnic skin experience. Chris is that artist. I appreciate the patience, the planning, and the awesome customer service. Plus, being able to walk in and ask for a lettering tatt without getting side-eyed to death is a great feeling. Thx Skin Museum, the atmosphere was dope and professional.

I’ve gone to almost all the artists at this shop and always have a good experience…and a good quality tattoo! They’re professional but still funny and down to earth. Good vibes from the time you walk in until you leave. 10/10 recommend.

Yesterday I got my first EVER tattoo done by Chaz! Great team working here! They had a flash Friday sale on the 13th of November- $20, any tattoo (limited by 1.5 by 1.5 inches) and you could bring your own design! Came in for our appointment this afternoon and everyone working was so nice and professional. They turned the music down so we could hear them and were willing to make adjustments to our designs before inking them. Dre was my artist and Chaz was my boyfriends. Both gentlemen were really funny and very nice overall. Mine was done within minutes and my boyfriends was done in less than 30. (I got the cat, he got the bee). I will be a returning customer and I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a tattoo artist in this area to check these guys out! Thanks guys!

The lobby is super modern and all rooms are very nice and clean. The receptionist is super nice and the tattooist had my stencil basically already made. I got a tattoo with very thin lines and the lines are so clean. Played good music and his portfolio is very impressive. Definitely will be coming back.

Great place! Front desk staff were very friendly, and Chaz was very professional, fast, and thorough. He asked a lot of questions to ensure I got exactly what I wanted and was very accommodating. The end result was right on. Very satisfied, would recommend.

I got a tattoo during their Friday the 13th sale. I never been here before but the deal was great. Even after they were booked all through the day, they even allowed people to reschedule within the next 30 days and got to keep the deal. Which is super accommodating and extremely kind of the business to do. I had Dre do my tattoo, which was a pretty simple design from one of their flashes. He was super nice and did a great job. One thing I did think was odd was I didnt get a bandage/wrap over my tattoo. From all my previous tattoos, I got wrapped so this was new. So I walked out (with an open wound basically) with nothing covering my new art. I know there is a small debate on whether or not wrapping the tattoo is necessary but I prefer to have it covered walking out of the shop. Other than that, the artists all seem super great (one even admired my new work when it was done). A great and well established Black owned business with high quality artists. Definitely would love to support this business again.

My wife and I called for a walk-in appointment. They were open an hour later. We arrived and got our matching tattoos done in 30 minutes. We very friendly and clean. It was my first tattoo and experience was good.

Friend went in for a 1:45 appointment and only started getting tatted at about 3:15. It didnt seem like anyone else was getting tatted and they werent busy... So idk, they need better time management.Also, for the tattoo that I got, the shading looks bad and rushed. The lines arent too clean either, but we went in for their Friday the 13th desk--I guess you get what you pay for.Its nice to see that the staff has close relationships, but during my time there they were playfully bickering, which is unprofessional.

I have several tattoos from Chris at The Skin Museum. He is incredibly talented. The vibe is very welcoming; its a clean, place with professional artists. I will keep coming back even though I no longer live in Milwaukee.

We got there 10 min before our appointment time and they told us to wait on the couches because our artist had to “run an errand”. When he came back from wherever he went he had full grocery bags full. Like it looked like her just went grocery shopping. we sat on that couch for an ENTIRE HOUR before ANYONE came and talked to us about what I wanted. Then he worked on us for about two hours then proceeded to charge us over $300 for this. And they healed HORRIBLY despite proper care. Really disappointed

Its a nice place to get a tattoo the staff was friendly the only thing I had a issue with is the wait, I had a 4 o clock appointment and didnt get called back until a little after 5 that was ridiculous because I had a appointment. Thats the only reason I gave them a 3 star rating instead of a 4, but overall I love my tattoo.
