The staff is beyond amazing and accommodating. They truly are custom tattooers and creative artists. Erik kent does exceptional american traditional and Neo traditional designs.

I made an appointment and was asked to come in earlier. No problem, until he made me sit and wait for an HOUR. My tattoo is simple. 8 lines, I figured anyone could do it. He kept drawing it up and the lines were too thick, but he kept saying “I got you, don’t worry”. He ended up making the lines too thick and there’s no space between them and there’s no definition. (See pics). The people weren’t pleasant, the shop is ghetto…I wish I would’ve walked away when I saw the place.

My friend and I called and emailed many places to get a matching tattoo many never replied or they did not to bother with us. When I called West Allis Tattoo the gentleman on the phone was very patient nice and helpful. We set our appointment with John. He is super nice and patient. Loved how he made us very comfortable and his work is excellent . Do not hesitate to get your tattoo done with West Allis Tattoo.

Went with my fiancé for her appointment. Nobody was here, door was locked. They confirmed the 5:00 pm appointment over text the day before and we have heard nothing since. Tried calling and we can hear the phone ringing inside. Guess they decided to close up early on Friday even though website says open till 8. Pretty disappointing customer service, makes me think other reviews are probably from friends and family.

Had appointment time set, tattoo artist rescheduled two hours later I said ok, I was on time and he was still late over 40 minutes. The tattoo I got was very simple just lines and half moon. Some of the lines are not straight or smooth the moon is messed up with the lining work. Some lines are thicker than others, which they should not be after he saw that the line was too thick. He switched up his needle. Go somewhere else. Not happy at all very disappointed. I paid $200 and it took him less then a hour to do my tattoo then was charged 10$ for using my card and then he asked for a tip Smh

Went in for a nose piercing which turned out great. My fiancé came with me and decided he wanted a tattoo - John was more than willing to do it on the spot for him. Tattoo turned out great as well! Very pleased with the customer service and vibes of the place. We will be back!

I got my nipples pierced here by john, he made me comfortable & was really great, gentle and informative! i recommend going to him!!

First of all, experience was fine. The artist was nice. But he had no respect for me, and the pain was unbearable. After 2 days of getting this tattoo, it started to get red and really started to scab. A week later, its still not better, if not worse. Im never going there again. Worst experience of my life. Thanks for an infected tattoo✌️😒

My friend and I went to John for a tattoo. I asked a lot of questions and was still deciding on my design, and he was really patient with me. He made me feel calm and relaxed. We even joked a little about my anxiety to get a tattoo. Ha! My tattoo was a memorial tattoo (so it meant a lot to me) and I love the way it turned out. Thanks John!

I had 2 tattoos done by John. He was nice did good work, except we had an appointment each time and had to sit there about over 2 hours before he started. The third appointment I received a text stating that he did not draw my tattoo up considering he had it 1 week before my appointment! Had to go elsewhere!

Made appointment during Friday 13th special for Sunday at 2pm while the artist who we later found to be the owner was there asking if that time suited him and if the special was still good all weekend. Come in and only one artist was there and he apologized and called the owner with around 2pm. He said he would be there between 3 and 3:30 the latest so we decided to wait. As of 4pm we decided to leave and as of 4:30 making plans in the car by the lot no one has pulled up. Greatly disappointed on how they handled the whole situation.

Jesse is an amazing tattoo artists!!! He is my to go to for my tattoos… He does amazing work, always makes sure I’m happy with the results before he starts and after he finishes… Im so happy with all my tattoos. John did my best friend’s tattoo and it turned out amazing!!

I showed up on time and the tattoo artist ask for 15 more minutes as he was running behind I said no problem man Ill be back in an hour I was back in an hour he hardly recognized me gave a wave continued on this guys tattoo for 20 very long minutes theres a punk band that is just blaring drums upstairs and the tattoo artist was listening to like a cop show where they were shooting people just multiple multiple times the guy getting the tattoo loved it and the gentleman giving the tattoo was like pandering this white dude. The TV was so loud along with the punk band upstairs it created an environment of like a meth basement after waiting 20 minutes plus the hour I gave him I left with no tattoo

Erik cancelled my appointment 15 minutes before it started and his reasoning was I didn’t answer his text from that morning. Didn’t see this text cancelling my 3pm appointment because I was driving to said appointment so I was already there. This appointment had been booked for a week and we had texted about what I wanted prior to the appointment day. Told me to ask one of the other artists there to do it but the door was locked. Drove there for nothing. He then offered me another appointment a couple hours later but nothing for my wasted time. No thanks I’ll take my business to an artist that respect their client’s time. Unprofessional.

In love with the leg sleeve Christian started. Everyone who sees my leg gives me compliments on the details and colors. Definitely worth the time and money. I can’t wait to have it completed.

The atmosphere at West Allis Tattoo & Gallery shop is: very warm, no-pressure, easy-going, comfortable & welcoming.In addition: John & Company are extremely; gentle, professional, knowledgeable, upbeat, positive, helpful, creative & actually listens to what YOU WANT !!!Prices are very reasonable and they have specials going on Thursdays. Their hours also convenient to your schedule !!!Basically to sum it up...If this is your very 1st tattoo and you are nervous or if this is your 21st tattoo and you are experienced and what certain details... they are there for you and have the experience and compassion to work with any person and any tattoo-!!!

Thought I would give this shop a chance since it’s nearby my home. Had a consultation with Justin at 4pm. Justin never showed up but the owner did to let me in. The owner said he would contact Justin. I sat & waited 20 minutes, Justin called me saying he would not make it in, was unaware of the appt made. Said I could text him pics of what I wanted and we could plan from there. Why would I want to give business to someone who doesn’t take my time seriously? I was turned off by the unprofessionalism. Neither Justin or the owner apologized for the inconvenience. Not a very good experience.

Jesse Guardiola is the best in the business. Always a true professional. He takes the time to listen to what you’re looking to get done and tailors your tattoo experience to exactly what you’re looking for. His work is super clean and always looks great. Hands down the best in the area. Wouldn’t get a tattoo from anyone else.

I’ve gotten two tattoos in the last 2 weeks and Christian Massey is by far the best tattoo artist I’ve had the pleasure to come across! I’ve gotten many tattoos.... and he is beyond talented.... Extremely nice, makes you feel very comfortable, relaxing atmosphere, not to mention his line game is ridiculous... steady hands for sure! Wish i could give this 100 stars! Thanks again! Every time I go into the shop everyone is so nice and willing to help. I’ve had a couple tattoos done with John. I highly recommend booking an appointment with him, if you are in the market for new tattoos! Definitely going back to see him again.

Went in for a 530 and 6:16 pm consult for myself and my son. First tattoos and something really simple for both of us. A bonding experience if you will before a 5 day hospital stay for him.It is 5:34 and we are home. No consult, my guy that I booked with wasnt even there. Guy we talked to was completely apathetic and uninterested in helping us. Very disappointed and sad for my son.

Jesse fixed a botched tattoo that I had gotten about 6 years ago and was able make it look completely different and brand new! He also did an amazing grim reaper on my arm. Ive been going to him for a few years now and recommend 10 out of 10!

Very unprofessional! Alex pierced my nose a month a half ago. Once it was allowed for me to change the ring- I noticed the hoop wouldn’t go all the way though to the other side of my nose. That’s when I realized that My piercing did not go all the way through! I called and texted Alex numerous times- letting her know that I would like my piercing fixed. I even made another appointment online with her- which she didn’t show up for. I also Called the shop... I have not heard back from Alex at all!!! I ended up going to another shop- having to pay another $40!! Alex didn’t Know what she was doing -so I had to pay for my pricing twice!!

Never once had a problem, tattoos were crispy and they take the time to make sure the tat is what you want and to make sure everything they do is clean J is the best artist in Milwaukee.

Christian is very talented. I absolutely love the tattoos he designed from my friend and I. He worked with us to make sure we stayed in our price range and got a piece we liked. He made sure we were comfortable, putting on music to our liking. Great convo, super cool person all around.

I need a touch up. I moved away from the area but I have no complaints. When me and my wife went everything was great. When I get back in town I will definitely be hitting them up for something new and a touch up.

The receptionist (green haired woman) was rude and didnt acknowledge my friends and I when we showed up to get Friday the 13th tattoos. She had an attitude and talked to people like they were inconveniencing her. She didnt acknowledge us after she took a picture of us either. The staff kept having other people get tattooed ahead of my friends and I and another woman that was waiting even though we were there first. The woman waiting with my friends and I waited all day to get her Friday the 13th tattoo even though the staff kept telling her she was going to be next. My tattoo of a paw print was poorly done. It wasnt colored/shaded in correctly so it looks scrippled in for the shading inside the paw print. Will go somewhere else to get it fixed that has a friendly, professional, and honest staff.

I personally would not tell anyone to go here. I had got a tattoo done a few weeks ago and Erik messed up on my sisters 6 of 6 tattoo. He lied and said he was going to redo it free of charge multiple times.. he just basically kept making up excuses. This is sloppy work and I am very disappointed!!

Went there today for the first time. Met with Christian and he did an amazing job I am so happy with my tattoo. Definitely recommend going there to see him. He made me feel very comfortable and it was a relaxing atmosphere. Couldnt be happier with his work!👍

Went to Jesse, first tattoo and was very nervous and he made the whole process so easy going and was awesome to talk to. He made sure everything was where I wanted and the sizing was what I wanted. Overall best experience!

I went to get a tattoo and the guy who came to the counter was extremely rude and refused to do the tatoo I wanted. Actually said he would not do my tatoo. All I wanted was the infinity sign with doggy foot prints to represent the live for my dogs. My fiance was also with me and wanted to get a tatoo. I have gotten a tatoo here before from jon and had a great experience. I was told jon was not there and rudely dismissed. Apparently these people wanna work when they want and rather get high instead doing tattoo. I will be telling everyone I told to go there not to go there. West allis tattoo should be ashamed of how they treated paying customers

Tattoo was messy. Lines weren’t clean. Tattoo didnt look like the picture. I appreciate one of the other artist compromising to have us come back to see an owner so that they can fix it but we will not be back. Very upset with the outcome but I guess that’s what we get for $40 Thursday. Will go get a cover up from a more professional artist that has a promising outcome.

I had an appointment for a piercing and when I showed up for my appointment, no one was there so I waited about 10 minutes and decided to go somewhere else.Edit: This wasnt today and what would be my motivation to lie? How unprofessional to call someone a liar instead of asking what day this happened instead of assuming and then attempt to rectify the situation. Im now actually glad I didnt get my piercing here.

Had a 1:15 appointment. Showed up right at 1:15. No one was there. Waited for about half an hour with no one there before I finally left. wouldn’t recommend if you actually want to get your tattoo.

I had one done there. Looks great but ........... a friend of mine said I was over charged. I went on a Thursday didnt know about the special...... paid $300.00 . Went to another tattoo shop on hwy 100. Said it would have been 150/175 tops for an hour which is what mine was at west allis tattoo

I had done a scheduling online on a Friday night for Sunday afternoon. Came in a few minutes before I was scheduled to find out there was a scheduling conflict and I would come back 1.5hrs later. I came back once again a few minutes early just to be pushed back once again. I will definitely not be coming back. So my original 3:45 appt is now being close to 6 or later, that is if I stay.

Was there 10 minutes early for my appointment, called many times and the owner, no one was there nor owner picked up, got a text from the owner that the piercer called out sick 20-30 after my appointment shouldve started. Others showed up as I was there outside calling.

My artist was jesse, he was very professional and did awesome work. I couldnt be happier with my tattoo and highly recommend going to him

All i can say is WOW what a great place workers are very friendly Jesse hands down one of the best artist i have ever dealt with super friendly very clean fast does great shading and also great line work very willing to do what you want also has super great ideas like i said before hands down one of the best artist i have ever had the chance to meet
