Worst tattoo I’ve ever Received, I’ve been tattooed by many artists., and this was far from an artist. I asked for a simple typewriter numbering tattoo, he used a stencil. He did not take more than 10 minutes on my tattoo and it is as long as my forearm. He didn’t stay in any of the lines of the stencil. He also dug the needle so deep into my arm while he was tattooing. I’ve never had a tattoo scab before and my whole tattoo is scabbed over and chunks of ink are popping out. 0/10 do not recommend! DO NOT GO HERE

This shop was absolutely amazing! Drove out from Helena to get my tongue pierced. The shop owner was extremely professional and took the time to explain everything I needed to know about the process and aftercare. This was the second time I got my tongue pierced, and he was so fast and efficient that I felt barely any pain. He even kept the shop open late cause I was running late!!! It was clean and comfortable. I am so happy with my experience and my piercing that I would absolutely go back if I decide to get another procedure. In fact, this is the only place I would go after the experience I had!!!

I’ve never gone to a tattoo shop more than one or two times but I’m on my third tattoo here and I can’t wait to go back for my next one, the prices are probably the best in town and all the tattoos I’ve gotten here have turned out exactly how I wanted them! Andrew does an amazing job of making the tattoo I want come to life and also has great conversation while it’s getting done, One of my favorite tattoo shops hands down!

Andrew is awesome!! Super open to ideas and very hospitable. He also does free touch ups on his work as well!!! Super friendly and comforting during the tattoo process.

Im not gonna lie, not the best tattooist Ive been to, my tattoo has inconsistent depth & retention, he didnt shave my arm beforehand. Im not heart broken over it. the vibes are great, good for something simple, good pricing, my piercings from here are healing great. just dont get too ambitious lol.

Deserves negative stars. Went so deep on my back that after a month, it still isn’t healed. Had another tattoo artist fix it and she told me that many people are trying to shut down this business. Read all reviews before you go here! He used Saran Wrap and painters tape to cover it. He blamed me for moving and I never moved a muscle. Worst experience ever.

Worst tattoo I’ve ever had. Got this July of last year as a walk in, finally got it covered up this week at Blaque Owl and had a fantastic experience. Learned my lesson to never do a walk in. Guy who did my tattoo and my friends tattoo wasn’t very professional and we felt kinda judged by the ‘artist’ as to what we were getting. My friend also had to get hers redone somewhere else, as none of the lines connected. Pretty disappointed, not surprised by the other bad reviews. Would not recommend, as basic as it gets.

Accommodating a large group and still giving each one the beautiful detail needed to remember our aunt forever and the love and beauty she shared with each one of us. (writing this for a friend) Went in for a tongue piercing. after getting the clamp on my tongue and needle pressed up against it piercer turned around to a female and stated i was tongue tied and then shoved the needle through. after piercing it, he stated “oh yeah, most piercers won’t pierce people who are tongue tied but it’ll be fine.” I woke up this morning with the whole right side of my tongue rock hard and ended up having to go into the doctors to have it looked at and taken out. For the fact that he knew it shouldn’t have been pierced in the first place, i know how permanent damage in my tongue and well as scar tissue, numbness, and little movement in ONLY the right side, as the left side is completely fine considering the fact that he pierced it completely crooked. -makayla smith

I was grossly overcharged for the piece that i got done. $300 for a small tattoo(picture size for reference). Terrible. The lines are not straight in the words, and there are a few blow-outs on the piece. I wont be going back here again. Now i have to pay to get it done properly. Dont go here if you want a good tattoo. Go here if you want a tattoo done quick.

MY husbands brother passed away, I spoke with Andrew several times via text messages to set up getting a memorial tattoo for my husband. We had this booked at least 2 weeks prior. I had to set up a baby sitter for my kids, he took off early from work and when we show up the shops open sign was lit up but there was a note on the door with his phone number stating something like Call for appointment only. I called Andrew right at our APPOINTMENT time...... He answers sounding like he had been sleeping and when I say that we are here for our 5pm tattoo appointment, he gave us a bogus excuse about having car problems and that he didnt know when he would be able to get there. Even if this was the case, wouldnt you think that calling the customer probably would have been the professional thing to do? I thought I would give him the benefit of the doubt after reading what google had to say about him including all the court stuff and what not.... but this man is sketchy, he lies and is unprofessional. I even blocked his number, I am so rubbed the wrong way.... He obviously doesnt give a crap about his customers. Luckily I was able to get my husband in elsewhere the next day.... When doing call arounds, I was told by several people that I should count my lucky stars that Andrew flaked out, whatever that means!!!! Go elsewhere!!In response to your response: Dude shame on you! The problem is, is that you didnt cancel! You let us show up and then lie your way through the situation. Also, your review makes no sense at all! And you forgive us? You have major issue my dude! Had you called us and let us know you needed to reschedule, we would have been more understanding! Now out of nowhere its because you had a family emergency, when YOU TOLD ME it was car issues when I called, nothing else...... But Okay! You are so full of lies... You are the only one apparently who worries about YOURSELF! You have no consideration for anybody elses time or money as I stated he got off work early and we got a babysitter, so get real man! Pathetic way of business!!!!! Be so proud.....

Drove from Deer Lodge to Missoula and randomly decided to get a tattoo and called them and they said we were good to come in, artist was very professional and welcoming. Wish I could remember his name

The gal was awesome! She walked me through the whole process of body piercings and let me know why/how she was doing everything. The space was also open (for safety reasons) but it was facing the wall so I didnt feel too exposed. They also fit me in same day! 10/10. Definitely getting my next piercing here.

Im obsessed with this cute little fine line daisy I got today! Being someone with SEVERAL tattoos, I can tell a good tattoo from a bad one. Im slightly newer to Missoula & was very nervous about finding a new artist. But as soon as I walked into the shop & was greeted by Drew, I felt that Id be in good hands. I was comfortable as soon as we began talking but even more so when I saw that the draw up was exactly what I had invisioned.This tattoo is placed perfectly & is delicate yet edgy. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! For everyone’s safety please don’t go. Look up the owners name and I promise you will not like what you see. He has several charges on his name. He also 1000% messed up a simple nose piercing. He did not do it in the right spot at all, put it in crooked and didn’t even give me a jewel, after spray, or any advice of how to take care of it and left the corkscrew hanging out and said I have to twist it in myself hours later and it cost $80. I had to go somewhere else to get it out and have it close up to redo it because whatever he used no other place knew what it was and said it isn’t a legal bar to put into your nose. DONT GO PLEASE!!!

Due to my shifting schedule of 3 jobs I was ecstatic he allows walk-ins, Drew is a great person, and pleasant to talk with, made me feel like family. He did an amazing job with my tattoo and color matched precisely the color I was looking for. I Highly recommend and will be going back for more art! :D

I came to get a helix piercing and tattoo and had a great experience! The helix hurt less then my nostril piercing and I was pleasantly surprised by that! For the tattoo I brought in a drawing I did and it was copied exactly and I’m very happy with it! It was a quick painless as possible experience and you won’t be bored because both artists are great at keeping a conversation going!

I got my tattoo done a while ago maybe a month or so and I’ve waited to post this till it was fully healed, I love it the delicate line work my artist really listened to all of the finer details I wanted in it, I will be going back for my next one, highly recommend going to these guys it was quick and comfortable and and my tattoo is what I wanted unlike other tattoos I’ve gotten from other places at the beginning of my tattoo journey.

I was reading Google reviews and originally went into another reputable tattoo shop in town. After the consultation and waiting 2 weeks for them to draw up my idea, I got the feeling they werent interested and decided to go elsewhere. So based on other Google reviews I stopped here and spoke to Dru. I was immediately impressed with him. I told him this would be my first tattoo and a important tribute to my deceased parents. He was very patient, understanding and upfront with me in regards to what to expect, cost, etc. He was able to answer all my questions. I stopped in the next day with my wife, with her input, mine and Drus we came up with what I wanted. He asked for a couple days to draw it up, which I gave him. A couple days later I stopped in and I loved the design he came up with! The day of the tattoo Dru was very accommodating and patient with me during the process. I was very pleased and happy with my tattoo. He is very informative in hygiene, cleaning and healing of your tattoo, this guy knows his stuff. If I decide to get more work done, he will be my go to guy!

The prices are reasonable and the artists willing to listen to your ideas. They give piercings too as the name says, and one of the owners is a cosmetologist.

He and his wife run a top notch operation here in Missoula and never disappoint. Good, caring, hardworking folk. Compared to other shops Ive been to, youre offered much more of a personal, family like experience at Art & Soul. Much more attention is given to ensure that you get exactly what youre looking for, so you always walk out content. No part of the process is ever rushed a long, even if the piece youre having worked on lasts longer than expected and late in to the night. Your comfortability and satisfaction are still #1, as is normal at this shop. This is not to mention that Andrews work is nothing short of impressive and beautiful. Very talented. To top it all off- its pretty cool that my wife and daughter can get their nails etc. done at the same time that Im getting worked on. They always leave super content as well.Highly Recommended!!

My best friend and I got matching finger tattoos for my birthday in October. It was such a friendly, comfortable setting. Honestly, family friendly. Our tats were quick, and our artist took so much time making sure everything was sterile. I dont know that Ive ever seen someone change gloves so much. Which is awesome! I went in with two coworkers to get piercings. Their noses ended up really good but my tongue ended up in a bad way. My kalispell piercing artist will be fixing my tongue piercing when I get home from our work trip. The gentleman was so very nice and I feel terrible but I don’t want this to happen to anyone else because this piercing is such a sensitive one as far as the healing process goes. Much love for the effort.

My best friend and I went to Art & Soul for matching tattoos. We impulsively decided to get tattoos and reached out to many different tattoo places to get a next day appointment. Most tattoo places laughed at us for trying, but Art & Soul tattoo was able to fit us in! The artists were friendly and did a great job. They said that they always keep a few spots open for the walk in & last minute appointments.

I would definitely recommended going to art and soul tattoo piercing! My friends and I stopped in on our way through town, they fit us in with minimal notice and did an amazing job! They are so kind and work together so well. I would make the drive back for my next tattoo!

Great shop and Dru is a great guy, very workable and accommodating. Had work done in another shop that was never finished due to the other owner screwing me on my scheduling, so I decided to give Art and Soul a try which I heard about through Facebook. Dru no only finished the work but made it better, added to it, and basically finished my sleeve and for probably half the cost of what I would have paid at the other shop. I would recommend this place any time.

Dru does wonderful work. My husband and I got matching ring tattoos and they look amazing. Very, VERY clean, professional, and friendly. Also, Megan Villa does a wonderful job on nails. Always getting compliments on how beautiful they look. The ONLY place Ill be going for nails, tattoos, and hair!

I went here for a piercing and got fingered. I was super uncomfortable but he said that is part of the process. A lot of people told me thats not normal or ok. I feel really awkward about it.

Walked in and one day and literally walked right back out. Most if the portfolios I’ve seen make it look like this is a first time apprentice shop. Over priced compared to others for a simple nose piercing. Piercing fell out the owner wanted full price to put the piercing back in. Whaty a jerk Wouldnt even offer a discount. Anotlher place offered to push my piercing back in free of charge. Place also looks like a rather while others such as Altered Skin for instance looks like a doctors office.

Went there to get my first tattoo when i turned 18, and the owner did the sketch of what i wanted and it looked good... until i got i finished with the tattoo and he added extra lines and made some lines longer than others and his exact words were this suits you better. As if he had knew me, mind you this is SIMPLE line work and he clearly couldnt even do that.

I am not impressed. The man who answered was not friendly, rushed me off the phone and hung up without saying bye. He sounded annoyed or irritated which is very off putting to new customers. He did not say his name just answered saying Art and Soul following an awkward silence. I asked him my first question and he abrasively let me know they dont do dermals. But had he let me finish talking I would have told him that I already have dermals was just curious about get the jewelry changed and by the purpose of my call was because I wanted to get my eyebrow pierced.

The owner called me in reference to an ad I placed on Craigslist. He didnt ask for the dimensions of the cabnit he wanted. I transported the cabnit out of courtesy, and when I got there he declared it too small and that he didnt want it. His approach was discusting, very rude, and I ended up hauling it back to my home. He offered no help, and no apology. He might be great at his art, but his attitude is highly undesireable.

Well...I wouldn’t go here to get piercings or tattoos if you’re a woman...let’s just say he likes very young women and likes to offer them shots to help numb pain. I can’t say much about their nails but I’ve heard they are good.

Went to the place it was locked up but web site stated they were open ..got down there and found it closed up but the sign and open sign looked as if they were open...if you want business then maybe you should change it on the web site and the fricking signs outside ....
