Five stars all the way, I have gotten 3 tattoos and 4 piercings at brightside and it is an amazing experience every time. It is such a safe space and their artists are top notch not to mention simply kind people. Larissa who I worked with for my tattoos is an amazing amazing amazing artist and is so open to anything and is excited about the work they do. A 10/10 all around, They even have capri suns!

Ive been getting pierced at Brightside since they opened and I seriously cannot recommend Tristn enough. Any time anyone I know is considering a piercing I always send them here. Tristn isnt afraid to tell you no if your anatomy doesnt suit a piecing, and can help troubleshoot problem piercings. Ive been pierced other places and have had the smoothest, least painful experiences here. I seriously cannot express how smooth each and every piercing Ive gotten here has gone. The jewelry is extremely high quality and Tristn is happy to order jewelry from one of the many high quality manufacturers sold at Brightside. The vibes are awesome, and everyone is friendly and welcoming. I am dedicated to this place and am happy to have had over a dozen piercings done by Tristn. This is *the* spot to get pierced in Missoula😌

Getting pierced by Trist’n was such an amazing experience! She was very kind and helped me feel comfortable with the whole process. The piercing looks great and is healing incredibly well. Would recommend to anyone looking to add a new hole to their face!

Great experience picking out jewelry and getting a double nostril piercing! I felt very welcome and at ease in this shop, she made sure I was informed on the piercings I was getting, I was told what she was doing before/during and after the piercings, and I felt I was hyped up before leaving. Trist’n is an awesome piercer! She explained the whole process and made sure I felt comfortable and safe. I loved how she always asked for consent throughout the piercing. I went to Bright Side to get a piercing that I was extremely nervous for. Once I started talking to Trist’n about the piercing I was assured that I was in great hands. The piercing was quick and painless. Trist’n talked me through every step and was professional and friendly. I went to this shop based on the positive reviews I read about them, and after getting a piercing from them I plan on going here for all of my future piercings and tattoos. We have had piercing appointments recently with both Larisa and Trist’n, for minors and adults, and have had nothing but positive experiences. The atmosphere in the shop is more like a spa than a stereotypical tattoo/piercing shop. Both Larisa and Trist’n were patient with questions, gave good feedback and suggestions on jewelry, and were attentive and communicative during the piercing process, explaining every step. Aftercare was clearly explained, and both were responsive to follow up questions via Instagram. Their online scheduling process is easy and convenient. 5 stars!

I brought my daughter to Brightside to get her ears pierced and Tristin was incredibly kind and patient with her. She explained the entire process beforehand, and always let my daughter know what she was doing. I am so happy I brought her here and my daughter LOVES her earrings so much. I love Trist’n! She does amazing work! I had given up on pretty much all of my piercings because I never felt comfortable with any piercers in town/could never find jewelry I liked. That has changed since meeting Trist‘n! Not only do my old piercings have cute new jewelry, I’ve gotten more piercings from her and it’s been a true pleasure every time. Highly recommend booking a piercing party with her or letting her curate a look. Truly cannot say enough good things about her and the shop.

Tristan Wasson personable, and welcoming from the moment we came into the shop. She was clear and communicative about what to expect and aftercare. My piercing was swift and painless, and by far one of the best piercing experiences Ive had. Space was clean, beautiful, and cozy. Absolutely would recommend to friends!

Service was AMAZING! Got a Jestrum done by Tristin and she was such a lovely piercer and very professional. Kept the environment very chill, and the studio is so cute, lots of plants and just very cozy vibes. Brightside is my go-to place to be pierced! Trist’n is so incredibly patient with me, understanding of my reactions because of my MS, and always delivers the absolute best work. I had my left ear designed with three piercings for my birthday and its the most gorgeous styling with a hanging chain and everything - I am supremely lucky! Had my nipple pierced today (only 3 months after my last) and the whole experience has cemented my love for this shop. Each piercing is so minimally painful in the way that Trist’n works and leaves you wanting more instead of being scared of the needle! So clean, inclusive, and born out of love: Brightside delivers all it hopes to offer!

Highly recommend Tristns work. Very personable and explains things along the way, there are no surprises as we went along to do multiple piercings over the course of two appointments. Great cleanliness practices, snacks/drinks available to get you through it all. Provides documentation so you know guages of piercings plus the types of jewelry used. Good quality jewelry available to choose from (no butterfly backs), and no piercing guns used here. I will always recommend her and this shop, and will definitely return for future piercings.

I could not recommend Trist’n enough! My daughter decided she wanted her ears pierced for her 7th birthday and I immediately knew we were going to make the 2 hour drive to have Trist’n do it. My girl was a little nervous but Trist’n made the experience so enjoyable by explaining every step of the process. She was so gentle and made my daughter feel so comfortable.Her shop is so bright and welcoming and well taken care of. Absolutely beautiful place.10/10 all the way around! Xx

All services at this location are by appointment only, including any shopping for jewelry. I was looking for an earring last minute (already pierced and just needed a replacement) and 5th Ave Ink had suggested I try here based on the style I was looking for. Popped in and was asked by someone behind the counter, Can I help you? - I said, I was hoping to look at earrings? Before Id even finished my sentence, she had turned her back to me and started walking away saying, Everything is appointment only - go online find a time and come back later.I have zero issues with their policy being by appointment only - but I had no idea it applied to shopping (every shop is different). It would have taken two additional seconds for her to make eye contact and let me know the policy, as opposed to showing me her back and treating me like Id done something wrong by entering their shop. It was just very rude and made me feel very unwelcome in the space. I did look at their reservation system in my car after the encounter, and while there were appointments available that afternoon, I absolutely did NOT make an appointment to come back - I shopped somewhere else. The folks at 5th Ave were super friendly and helpful.The studio itself looked really nice, so its a little bit of a bummer that they acted that way. I hope it was just a one off/bad day for someone.

Went in for an Industrial piercing. Not gonna lie I was super nervous. Been wanting one for awhile. Saw their website, read the reviews and was sold. When I met with Tristn she instantly put me at ease. Very laid back and she explained the whole process. Told me step by step what she was doing and reminded me to breath. Definitely going back for other work. Clean shop and had a nice vibe. Highly recommend you check it out. Prices are fair compared to other places. You wont be sorry!

When you enter the shop you are warmly greeted by smiles and warm welcomes from some very amazing women! It felt comfortable. This was my second time in the shop, 1st time it was my daughter and I just checking it out and I came back a 2nd time by myself to get a piercing as a walk in. Chatted for a bit to kind of figure out what I wanted, then we got started Larisa was super professional, made sure to cover everything before, during and after. Really made sure to ask how I was doing, especially because I was nervous. It went so smooth! Loved the look of the shop, definitely will be going again and I recommend checking it out and getting some body art! Larisa was great to work with, thank you !

Tristn was exceptional when it came to my downstairs piercings. She did a great job and never made me feel uncomfortable at all. I dont think I could have gotten through it otherwise. She was extremely professional which I really appreciated, she also has a lot of confidence in her work which made me feel very safe, Definitely recommend. I got a tattoo from Larisa and she absolutely NAILED IT. I gave her a super vague prompt, she designed a tattoo that was exactly what I wanted, and then made me feel completely at home while getting it done. This was my longest tattoo that Ive gotten but Larisa made sure that I was comfy and didnt make me feel bad I needed a break. I couldnt ask for a better experience out of Brightside, truly.

Ive gotten three piercings with Tristn and am always so, so happy with the whole process. Everyone in the shop is so wonderful and kind and fun to be around and its the kind of place where you walk in and immediately feel comfortable.

I loved our piercer! She did such an incredible job and walked my mother in law through all the steps and was fun to talk to! Plus the shop is super cute and has a great view of the missoula mountains.

We got memorial tattoos here for our uncle. The apprentice, Sam, did our tattoos. She did such an amazing job and made us all feel so comfortable. The shop itself was one of the most comfortable tattoo and piercing shops Ive ever been to. The environment and overall vibe were amazing. Ive never felt more comfortable and welcomed at a tattoo shop.

I felt at home the minute I walked in. The atmosphere and decor are amazing. Trist’n was awesome. I went in to get two re-piercings. They hadn’t completely closed and she got my jewelry replaced and charged me a lot less than I had anticipated paying. I will be back!

I could not be more pleased with my piercing experience here.- easy and straightforward booking process through the website, I was able to schedule out a week for piercings. Appreciated the text confirmation and follow up- Clean & Safe. I am covid cautious and the moment I stepped in I felt comfortable. Masks required and every single person inside was masked. It’s a large space and they are appointment only so I didn’t feel it was overcrowded at all. The artists all have their own private spaces for tattoo/piercing and it felt as clean and professional as a doctors office (without losing the vibe!).- Trist’n is a skilled piercer and makes you feel safe and comfortable. The process was seamless and she checked in with me many times and was fast and professional.- Stylish AF. I wasn’t sure what I wanted and the piercing artist/co-owner Trist’n was helpful, friendly, and gave me consultation to help me decide placement and jewelry. Got a tattoo here by the lovely apprentice Sam! The outside of this shop is very unassuming, but is a dream land of comfort when you walk in! There are plants and decor everywhere and everyone who works there is so sweet! They give you a lot of privacy and are super professional and fun at the same time!
